We found the food delicious and the selection of dishes is more than sufficient if you eat meat. The waitresses were nice. Unfortunately it was very cold in the restaurant and therefore very uncomfortable. We wouldn't go there again during the heating season.

The Habanero in Zwingenberg is a real insider tip for everyone who appreciates delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. From the moment you enter the restaurant you feel warmly welcome. The ambience is modern, yet warm and inviting - perfect for a romantic dinner or a social evening with friends. The food is simply outstanding! The dishes are creative, freshly prepared and full of flavor. We were particularly impressed by the Mexican specialties - spicy, but not overwhelming, and with a great selection of ingredients. There are also many delicious options for vegetarians. The staff is friendly, attentive and tries very hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. You can tell that passion and passion are at play here. Conclusion: The Habanero is definitely worth a visit! Whether for a special meal or just a relaxing evening – you will feel completely at home here. We would love to come back and can only recommend it!

An absolute highlight! The food was excellent – ​​from the quality of the ingredients to the perfect preparation. The service was extremely friendly, attentive and fulfilled every wish. The ambience in the restaurant is stylish and cozy, so you immediately feel at home. I would particularly like to highlight the fajita, which was simply sensational. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

The food was mediocre, felt like it wasn't very fresh or was overcooked. Music was too exciting for a restaurant. The service was okay, but since we were the only guests, we could have asked a little more often if we needed anything else.

I thought about it for a long time, but I give it 3 stars. The ambience is great and so are the cocktails and homemade lemonades. The service was "standard", but not particularly noteworthy. The kitchen could not respond to special requests. The food was rather below average. Especially that a gratinated enchilada contained spicy raw onions and the vegetables looked more like a frozen mixture - well, you don't have to eat them again. The fact that the bill was presented to us without being asked after an hour, even though we still had drinks and the table hadn't been cleared, was too much. And no, I specified a stay of at least 90 minutes when making the reservation. We then ate dessert somewhere else. We were here once and count it as an “experience”.

It's a real shame that I'm forced to even give one star to write this review - the restaurant doesn't even deserve that one star. On December 14th I had reserved a table for 20 people at 6:30 p.m. in the Habanero restaurant because we wanted to celebrate a team event there. The reservation was confirmed via email. However, when we arrived on time we were told the reservation was for 7pm, supposedly because a colleague of the manager/owner misunderstood the email. The restaurant was not prepared for our group at all: there was only one table for us for a maximum of 15 people, and we were suggested to sit the rest (4 people) of the group at a separate table in another corner of the restaurant - an absolute unacceptable suggestion. We were then told that they basically had no space for 20 people and that you could actually only reserve by phone, even though my email reservation had been confirmed. We had to leave the restaurant as no reasonable solution was offered. What was particularly shocking was the behavior of the manager or owner: he was disrespectful, rude and just plain rude. A conversation was impossible because he didn't want to listen or cooperate. I have never experienced such miserable and disrespectful service. This restaurant is an absolute disgrace, both organizationally and in dealing with guests. I can't recommend it to anyone.

We wanted to celebrate our team event with the company. Unfortunately it didn't work. Catastrophe... It already started that we supposedly had ordered the table for 7 p.m. instead of 6.30 p.m. (we had reserved by email and it said 6.30 p.m.). We were there with 22 people instead of 20. It wouldn't actually be a problem at all back together but the table was for a maximum of 16 people. Afterwards we wanted to push the one table next to us but unfortunately we weren't allowed to do that. Was forbidden to us and we should push it back. Well after that we went to celebrate somewhere else……. Once and never again... It's a shame... Unfortunately I can't rate the food and atmosphere, but I can rate the service and it wasn't even worth one star...

Today we had reservations for our Christmas party for 22 people and were treated rudely and asked to sit at two small tables. No alternative offers, no service whatsoever. Never go to this store again!!! In addition to the answer from the company: How dare you lie like that? We have 22 witnesses who can testify to all this and you and your rude 3 waiters who didn't give a shit about us are seriously claiming that you offered us SOLUTIONS? You should be ashamed! If you are unable to control a conflict situation as unprofessionally as you are, then I would think twice about writing an answer! We are customers and wanted to have our Christmas party with you and leave our money there! There were only 2 tables that we had for ourselves and the 3rd table that we pushed towards us was taken back because it was reserved for others. We probably asked for more chairs three times but you didn't help us and everyone in our team saw that! Despite your rude and unprofessional attitude, you couldn't ruin our evening and we spent our money and decent tips elsewhere with MUCH better service than yours.

We were finally here again for a long time. As usual, everything was great. We'll be back soon.

It used to be good...it's not anymore. We were here again after about 3 years. Unfortunately, the two experiences are worlds apart. Apart from the name, the food has absolutely nothing to do with Mexican cuisine. I would say the taste is more oriental. Basically not bad, but you want to get what you came for in a Mexican restaurant. Furthermore, should a basic cleaning be carried out here, the floor is now so sticky and disgusting that you lose your appetite when you look down. The staff is also very unmotivated and bored and if you didn't understand something because of the bad pronunciation, we repeated it very loudly. Still doesn't do much 🤣

Unfortunately it wasn't really Mexican, the food had no seasoning at all. The cuacamole was missing from the cuacamole burger. It was delivered upon request. Side dishes were ok but not amazing

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant at all. I had reserved a table for 10 people for my birthday and had it confirmed from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. When we arrived there was a big surprise. Despite all the love, 10 people couldn't have eaten comfortably at the table; they tried to squeeze in like they were on a Chinese train. I saw a table next to it as a comparison. There were 6 children sitting here with 2 adults and there was enough table space for that. The same table size should then be occupied by 10 adults using a corner bench…. When I was offered a side table in another corner but only from 5:15 p.m. to 6 p.m. until 6 p.m. my jaw dropped. So one person should sit in the corner of the corner bench and hold the plate in their hand instead of on the table and another person should sit at a single side table one step lower... I have never experienced such bad treatment in a restaurant... Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food, but I'm happy I didn't try it. Anyone who treats their guests like this can only imagine what the quality of the food is like. Well unfortunately I can't give more than 1 star for such an experience...

Hello community, We were at Habanero again last week. This time with the gourmet block. As always, we were not disappointed with the food and service. Very friendly service and the blinds were a poem. Why only 4* - We sat at a table right in front of the toilet entrance. Not sparkling but still ok. What really bothers me is the extremely high price for a bottle of water. If alcohol is cheaper than water, then, in my personal opinion, something is wrong. Perhaps it is also a suggestion to offer water from the tap, as in other countries, either free of charge or at a minimalist price. However, this does not only apply to this Habanero restoration but also to catering establishments in general. Of course money has to be made, but I don't agree with this, the high price of water.

It was our first time there and unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. The reserved table for 2 people was right by the toilet door and right by the bar. The food and drinks we ordered were super delicious. But, we sat for 10 minutes with empty plates and glasses and no one came to clear them up. We actually wanted to order dessert and something to drink. Because no one came, we paid straight away and even when we told the waiter he didn't react in any way. Very unfortunate.

Very great restaurant, delicious food

Yesterday we went to Habanero for the first time - thanks to Schlemmerblock. The restaurant is very comfortably furnished :-) We ordered a starter (shrimp and salad) and main courses (burrito and rollado). Everything was fresh and the main courses were very well filled. The service was also attentive and responded to requests.

We ordered a cold starter, 2 main courses and, in addition to drinks, a small portion of spaghetti (without sauce) for our 2-year-old son. Judging by the taste, the olives, pepperoni, coleslaw and soft cheese were of poor quality and probably came from a discount store. The main courses were better, but too dry and nothing special in terms of taste; the accompanying leaf salad was only drizzled with a thin, sweet dressing. If you look at the high prices, then the price-performance ratio is simply not right. What was really annoying, however, was that they charged us 6 euros for the spaghetti. According to the boss, half of the adult price is always charged for children's portions. Apparently they had forgotten to estimate 12 euros for pure spaghetti in the menu. After I spoke to the boss after the meal and expressed my dissatisfaction, he showed no understanding whatsoever. It simply didn't matter to him whether we as customers were satisfied or not and whether we would come back. It's a shame that some restaurateurs have forgotten what's really important in this profession and are shamelessly lining their own pockets. The only bright spot was the friendly and attentive service staff.

We've been here twice now. I love Mexican cuisine and that's why I love second chances. It was OK. But nothing more. The second time I even got the wrong dish and not even an apology. Then it took another 20 minutes until I got my food. My companion had already finished her food because it was getting cold quickly. In general, the young woman who served us was unfriendly and inexperienced. The atmosphere is nice and has a lot of potential. A pity...

Overall a bit disappointing, but just OK. Positive: - Delicious cocktails (especially Frozen Daiquiri) - Interior ambience quite atmospheric - Food looks great Negative: - Service is haphazard to disinterested, and not very fast. Twice we forgot things, a vegetarian dish suddenly had meat, and in the end we laughed it all off as a matter of course. In the meantime, it was more important to practice booty shaking with another person than to do the service work. - Unfortunately, the food is extremely bland. It's a shame because the roller blinds look really tasty - but they don't taste like anything. Pizza was also very underwhelming and resembled a ready-made pizza. - You sit outside on a street with cars squeezing past in the immediate vicinity. Bottom line: It's purely suitable for drinking cocktails, but not so much for eating out.

The taste of the food was really good. The Portions were too small and the prices for water were 7,60 Euro compared to a cocktail for 8,00 Euro. Not understandable. The service person was new and sometimes unsure, but really friendly and nice.

The Schlemmerblock brought us here for the first time... but certainly not the last time. Great location as a restaurant and bar, beautiful wall painting and decoration, competent, friendly staff and very tasty food. We had carne de vaca and fajitas with prawns. Great served in cast iron pans with delicious sauces and tortillas. We would like to come again.

We often ate at Habanero, unfortunately this will be our last visit for now. You can't complain about the taste, although you can of course eat better Mexican food elsewhere, the food at Habanero is still delicious. Unfortunately I can't understand the price increases, I'm the last person who doesn't understand good quality or the current financial situation, but I paid almost 20 (!!!) euros for tacos... 3 small tacos came with a few Lettuce leaves as decoration. Unfortunately, I don't think the price/price for hard shells with some minced meat filling is justified at all.

Unfortunately disappointing, ingredients seem fresh but processed rather cheap products. If I order prawns for just under €13, I at least expect the intestines of the shellfish to be removed. The side salad was bland and just plain boring.

A really great shop! Of the tapas, we definitely recommend the prawns in garlic chili sauce!! Wow what a taste explosion! The garlic bread with tomato sauce is also really tasty! Drinks and service are great and you can sit outside. The point deduction is for the homemade bread, which was really not good. There are a thousand better varieties!

We were here yesterday with 4 people and had reserved a table either inside or outside. The choice of platform was uncomplicated. It's a very nice bar and restaurant, very cozy. The service was courteous and nice. The food here is tasty and beautifully prepared. The cocktails are well mixed and very tasty. A taxi was also called for us in the evening upon request. We felt very well looked after and would love to come back.

Great restaurant with nice staff.

We made a reservation online at short notice and were called back. We were asked if we already knew the location. We said no, but mentioned that we wanted to eat there. The assigned table was definitely far too small for this. We couldn't set up plates and had to eat our chosen fajitas from the pan and stack the dips and crumpets. The small round tables facing the toilets are definitely not designed for this! After dinner I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea. The way it was prepared was completely unknown to me (my favorite cocktail). I also mentioned this to service. That's just how it's prepared there. Unfortunately I didn't like it either. Despite all this, the service team was great, very hard-working and super friendly.

Very good food, the beef strips were super tender in the Arroz con Vaca. It's actually only slightly hot, rather spicy, but very tasty. Relatively full, you should reserve.

I think the prices are a little too high and unfortunately the food isn't really a hit..:( The taste and quality reminds me of the food from the “Enchilada” chain. All dishes were served within 10 minutes, which is certainly good for people, but freshly cooked simply takes longer. Conclusion: We'll happily come back for a cocktail, but less likely to eat.
