The ambiance and service are good. Unfortunately, the portions are quite small. So, if you're really hungry, order a starter and dessert, otherwise you'll go home hungry. But it's very tasty.

Delicious food and a large wine list

It was with some friends that we spent an evening in this restaurant and well I confirm that it is incredible the food is good the service is excellent the beers are very cold we had a great time. The staff did everything to make us comfortable and made many efforts to satisfy us even though we French are sometimes a little difficult. The toilets are very clean. Thank you for this perfect welcome.

Very friendly staff; we were part of a larger group. The food arrived at our tables at the same time and was warm, and everything from soup to main course to dessert was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommended.

We were very disappointed with the food. Schnitzel with pepper sauce that wasn't really a sauce. Mash would be the right word. The fries were tasty but without sauce. I imagine turkey salad to be something else, a bit mixed. 3 slices of cucumber, 3 pieces of tomato, and otherwise just lots of green spinach leaves??. A vinegar and oil marinade was served separately, but unfortunately lacked flavor. It was missing salt and pepper. The service was excellent. The beer garden was great.

A balanced menu at very reasonable prices. We paid between €15-25 per person, and the dishes are truly delicious and plentiful.

Because of the good reviews, we ate there with the whole family. Except for grandma, everyone thought it was pretty bad. This is probably also because it is a magnet for older people and the ambience and the menu are designed accordingly. The service was very nice and tried hard. At first it wasn't clear to me who was serving because I also thought the lady was a guest. Personally, I think it's a good thing if the service staff wears recognizable clothing, as is usually appropriate in the catering industry. The ambience is quite rustic and also getting old, you could call it retro, but the 80s flair is still intact, which I personally didn't like. The food was just bad. The menu also has no concept at all - many dishes seem to be thrown together twice and in a completely uncoordinated manner. Ultimately, all of our dishes were chip shop quality. Even though there wasn't much going on in the restaurant. The food absolutely didn't cross the 80s and 90s hurdle. Carelessly presented on the plate, far too greasy and overcooked... not really innovative dishes. Grandma Erna had similar food on Sundays...back then...it would be nicer to reduce the menu offering...but pay more attention to the quality of the food...the side salad was also great...me To this day I still wonder what the purpose of canned corn and canned beans is on a salad... since we also had a vegan in the group, unfortunately there was hardly anything edible for him... it's a shame... Conclusion. Food quality not good, prices too high, ambience too old-fashioned. Service was reminiscent of a visit to the tanning bed.

We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary here with our guests. We were able to enter the restaurant an hour early to give a small speech and play a song for my wife (Rheinhard May "I love you"). The table was beautifully set. The quality of the food was beyond any doubt and it was highly praised by all guests. The friendly staff left nothing to be desired and the food was served at the same time, a big compliment also to the kitchen staff. Four of us were there on a Sunday around 12:00 p.m. All dishes were served within fifteen minutes. The meat was cooked to perfection and the service was attentive and good. The ambience corresponds to the “country inn”.

We were there in a group of 25 people. We had made a list beforehand of who wanted to eat what. So the kitchen knew what it had to prepare for and could make preparations. The food came almost too quickly and everyone at the two tables was able to eat close together and almost at the same time❗👍🏻 That alone was really powerful. The food itself was on point and delicious. None of us had anything to complain about. A clear recommendation from me, even with more than 3-4 people... So what remains is clear *****‼️👍🏻😁

It's a nice, solidly furnished restaurant with a nice atmosphere. It is advisable to book a table in advance. The service and staff are very good 👍. However, the menu is so extensive that I suspect that some of the dishes are not prepared in-house but are just warmed up. The food is attractively presented on the plate and hot. 👍

An absolute insider tip for a delicious Christmas goose. Since we either couldn't find a place in the north of Düsseldorf shortly before Christmas or there were no more goose, we went with the family to the Chargé inn. We did not regret it. It's been a long time since we've eaten such a juicy and tender goose breast in the "classic" guise with dumplings, red cabbage and stuffed apple. A dignified ambience and nice service. We recommend.

Tolles Restaurant. Vor allem sehr toller netter Koch. Meine Partnerin hat eine starke Allergie und der Koch kam persönlich um genau abzusprechen was ok ist und was nicht und welche alternative Zubereitung möglich ist. Geschmacklich auch sehr lecker. Service sehr freundlich. Einziges klitzekleines Manko ist, dass zu den Kroketten etwas mehr Soße hätte dabei sein können. Das trübt aber nicht die 5 Sterne-Bewertung 🤙🏻

Für unser Firmentreffen war alles vorbereitet. Das Buffett mit diversen Vor- und Hauptspeisen war eine Augenweide und geschmacklich hervorragend. Vom Nachtisch wurde das Tiramisu sehr gelobt und nicht nur einmal nachgekommen. Der Obstsalat war genau so perfekt, wie der Service. Eine gute Adresse!

Seit der Pandemie hat man im Charge wohl den Koch gewechselt. Das Essen ist nicht mehr mit der Zeit davor zu vergleichen und leider keinen Besuch mehr wert. Vorher bekam man durchaus gutes Essen, was nicht nach "Hobbykoch" schmeckte. 15 Jahre lang hatten wir hier regelmäßig ein butterzartes Rinderfilet mit einer selbst gemachten Pfeffer-Cognac-Sauce genossen. Vor einem Jahr bekam man plötzlich ein angegrautes Stück Fleisch was so hart war, dass man es nicht kauen konnte, dazu eine fade Sauce. Das ließ man zurückgehen und bekam als Ersatz ein zur Hälfte angegrautes Stück Fleisch, was sich grade so kauen ließ. Da kocht man selber 10x besser und ein Stück Steak zuzubereiten ist eigentlich ein Kinderspiel. Nach einem Jahr wagten wir noch einmal einen Besuch und bekamen diesmal versalzene Hackspeisen einerseits und salzlose Bratkartoffeln andererseits. Die Bedienung ist wie je her freundlich genauso wie der Besitzer, was ein schlechtes Essen aber auch nicht besser macht. Die "neue" Location ist schön, besonders der große Biergarten. Drinnen wird es etwas laut, wenn viele Gäste da sind. Das Ambiente ist klassisch, aber nicht altbacken (im Vgl. zu Angermund). Parkplätze sind auch vorhanden. Vllt. bekommt das Charge nochmal die Kurve mit einem richtigen Koch - wir als Stammgäste werden jedoch nicht mehr wiederkommen.

Sehr gutes Essen und dazu ein richtig kühles gezapftes Bier. Komme immer wieder gerne hierhin und kann das Charge in Rahm ohne Einschränkung weiter empfehlen.

Sonntag um 21 Uhr da gewesen laut Internet Küche bis 21:30 Uhr wurde mir gesagt das die Küche zu hat. Was ja auch nicht schlimm ist nur bitte ändern damit ich nicht umsonst 24 Kilometer gefahren bin fand ich nicht grade nett.

Wenn man nicht ortskundig ist, mag man nicht glauben, dass dort ein solch schönes Restaurant zu finden ist. Das Essen war sehr gut (Wildkarte!). Und vor allem der Service gefällt, aufmerksam und freundlich! Das war sicher nicht der letzte Besuch!

Waren zum Mittagessen dort. Das angebotene Menü in drei Gängen war frisch und lecker und zu einem günstigen Preis. So kann man auch noch mit Inflation noch ein bisschen genießen. Gerne wieder!

Nette Gaststätte mit gut kroatischer und deutscher Speisekarte. Sehr schönes Ambiente im Gastraum und eine schöne Terrasse. Nettes Personal und kostenlose Parkplätze.

Top SERVICE, leckeres ESSEN, SCHÖNE Lokation

Eine Speisekarte von mediterran über Schnitzel bis hin zu Saisonalem (aktuell noch Spargel). Ein wenig mehr "Moderne" bei Soßen oder anderen Beilagen wäre wünschenswert. Das Personal ist sehr nett und versucht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Der Biergarten ist ein richtig gutes Argument für eine Fahrt ins Chargé - bevorzugt mit dem Rad durch die Felder und Wiesen der Umgebung.

Heute dort gewesen. Gutes Lokal. Die Speisen hatten keinen Pep. Das Fleisch 08/15 ohne persönliche Note, die Pommes mit wenig Salz. Das Einzig was man als Gut bewerten kann ist das Personal, es hat uns sehr gut bedient.Der Preis war ok
