One employee seemed a bit cold to us (for example, he asked if we were enjoying our meal as he walked by, but he didn't even catch the longer answer beyond "yes" because he was already too far away. It was more a matter of politeness than genuine service or interest). The women, on the other hand, were incredibly kind and attentive. The atmosphere was very rustic, although it was quite drafty at the table right next to the entrance. The food was fantastic; I haven't had such good bacon on a burger in a long time. The salmon was also divine.

Service was great, I arrived shortly before the kitchen closed but no problem, there was still food available.

A pleasant evening with seven people in a brewery-style atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed their meal except for one person, who didn't like the typical beer hall breading. It did take a little while for our food to arrive. The staff were friendly and, despite the restaurant being full, still found time to take a photo of us.

Everything tasted good, although it was very vegan-friendly. Vegan alternatives are all well and good, but there could have been more real meat. There was only one hot meat dish (beer goulash – very tasty). It was accompanied by soy schnitzel and oatmeal meatballs. A second meat dish, such as meatballs, schnitzel, or a meat sauce with the pasta, would have been nice. Despite the good selection and quality, this won't make me a repeat customer.

We went there with a group of eight for Sunday brunch, and everyone was thoroughly satisfied. A very diverse brunch with plenty of options for vegans, too. Highly recommended for a relaxing morning with friends 😊

It's an oasis. In the middle of a bustling city, the Webster on Dellplatz, shaded by trees, is a place to relax. The Webster and its friendly staff contribute a lot to this. If you can also enjoy one of their refreshing, delicious, and home-brewed beers, then all is right with me. But what's a beer or two without delicious food? This requirement is also met to my complete satisfaction. Just reading the menu makes you want to eat. This desire is then 100% fulfilled with the serving of the food. It was once again a very pleasant, relaxed, and enjoyable visit. Thank you very much for that.

For many years, decades even, I've been visiting this wonderful restaurant here in Duisburg. I've spent cozy evenings there, often went to brunch with my wife, and even went bowling for my birthday. I recently participated in a rum tasting there, and I think it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. I'd love to go again. For my wife and me, the Webster is one of our favorite restaurants because we have many connections to it and always feel at home there.

We were greeted warmly and escorted to our table. Although there were few guests, there was plenty of choice at brunch. We'll be back.

Rustically furnished inn and brewery with a good beer selection and good food. During my visit, they even had an Oktoberfest beer and an additional Oktoberfest menu.

Excellent beer, but the wait for a beer is 28 minutes, and that's on a Tuesday night; I can't imagine what it's like on weekends. At the time of my visit, they only offered bottom-fermented beers and specials (all lagers). It's a bit of a shame that there's no ALE on permanent offer. The staff is unable to meet the request that the next beer be served within 30 minutes of the first. If you want a wheat beer with lemon (as it should be served), you'll be disappointed. The place has a very traditional and well-kept feel, but the staff is nervous, and the prices don't match the quality of the service. Honestly? Avoid this place if you just want a "beer." You come here for the feeling of luxury... but the luxury ends with the interior. Still, the wheat beer was served at the right temperature and tasted quite delicious... well, for €11.60, surely? :D

Yes, if you like hearty food and beer, this is the place for you. There are also vegan options.

Opinions always only reflect the impression of a moment and may not reflect the opinions of others. My opinion is quite positive. A brewery, as you'd expect, clean and quaint. The beer was delicious, and the service was friendly. Personally, I didn't like the "Exciting Knuckle of Meat" at all. It had far too many spices and plenty of salt. There was no meat left. Unfortunately, the fries that evening weren't good either, and many of them left them. Colleagues had the bratwurst with fried potatoes, and I'm annoyed I didn't have that too. The apple strudel for dessert made up for it a little. Would I go again? Yes, but not for the excitement.

The beer and soft drinks weren't my thing. But I can recommend them.

The brewery has a rustic interior and is a pleasant place to sit both inside and out. Even when it gets busy, the noise level inside remains reasonable. The food is homely with generous portions. I recommend making a reservation on weekends.

I highly recommend a visit to the Webster Brauhaus Duisburg.

Very nice location to experience German traditional Brauhaus culture. The location is well prepared for non German speekers and accepts credit cards including American Express. To get the real experience and if you are a bigger group 8+ ask for the Kegelbahn. It is a German sport similar to bowling but in a separate room just for your group and with an own closet. Enjoy! For Indian visitors I can highly recommend the Flammkuchen, plenty other vege and non vege alternatives are recommendable as well; come hungry when you order a Schnitzel ❤️

Why the top and bottom of the hamburger are made of whole wheat is your secret; it's not even on the menu.

I love the home-brewed beer! The food is a bit more expensive, but it's solid and plentiful. There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. The tarte flambée is great. The staff is super friendly. There's a large beer garden outside.

We went there for dinner with friends. The food was good, and the service was more than attentive. Even our special requests were fulfilled without any problems. It was an all-around successful evening.

An absolute gem for traditional German food. I had the Pork knuckle one day and the Bratwurst on another. My wife had the vegetarian version of the same dishes. Excellent food and excellent beer. Highly recommended!

We haven't had such unfriendly service in a long time! We were there with a group of 20 international people during a major city-wide international event. Despite the English menus, the waitress showed zero understanding for the English-speaking guests; even when they tried to order in German, they were only greeted with unfriendly sneers! When we wanted to pay, she simply said the waitress was on break and we should wait 15 minutes because we hadn't said anything beforehand. We had also stated from the beginning that we wanted to pay separately, but in the end, the bill was still incorrect. The food was better than the service, but still only okay. After the experience, I absolutely would not recommend it. Especially not with international guests.

Unfortunately, the service was slow and rather unfriendly. Questions weren't welcome. The schnitzel was good. The fries weren't cooked through, weren't crispy, and the mayo was inappropriately thick.

No...the price/performance ratio isn't right. The knuckle of pork was pretty much the worst I've ever eaten. The pan-fried potatoes were mushy, but the coleslaw was okay. The drinks were okay, they were cutting corners. The waiter was very friendly, thank you for that.

It was our first time there and we won't be back. The atmosphere is really nice and the service was good. The taste wasn't so good. The salad with the homemade dressing was very tasty, but the schnitzel was unfortunately a disappointment. The malt coating was terrible, so you couldn't taste the schnitzel at all. It was also very thin and the coating very thick. All in all, we paid €65 for two people, and we didn't really eat well.

So, we were just there for drinks. But the atmosphere and the beer won us over. We'll be back, and then we'll have something to eat too. 😁

Honest regional cuisine at a good price and service. Anytime again

I've been to Sunday brunch twice already. The first time, everything was fine and very tasty, but the second time, there were serious problems distinguishing between vegan and vegetarian: sandwiches that were half vegan and half vegetarian were unfortunately folded together. A salad with honey-mustard dressing was labeled vegan, but it actually contained real honey. The sign wasn't removed even after I pointed it out. However, dishes advertised as vegan were then changed to vegetarian by hand, which, however, massively limited the selection. I think the inclusion of vegan dishes and the creativity used in this regard at the brunch are commendable, but perhaps the chef should also know the difference between vegan and vegetarian; otherwise, they shouldn't advertise it.

This is probably the best brewery and beer in the world. Simply delicious. The staff is great and the knuckle is simply an absolute highlight. In the future, I will continue to provide catering for all programmer events from here. The brewery tour is also really passionate and not trite. Thank you very much friends

We were completely satisfied. Great service, very good food, and a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended. The home-brewed beers were also delicious. If we ever visit Duisburg again, we'll definitely be back.

We were there on a Sunday with a larger group. It wasn't busy, but the service was very slow. The salmon was burnt (even the second time!). The vegan burger, unfortunately, wasn't seasoned at all. But it's great that there's a vegan option in a brewery! A little more seasoning would have been great. Overall, everyone in the group was rather unimpressed with the food. Perhaps the strength here lies more in the beer 😉 which is fine, but we were there to eat...

Good, plentiful food. Hectic, moderately attentive staff. Noisy with tight seating. Trendy, recommendable, but not the cozy atmosphere of a beer garden, more the feel of a well-run restaurant, where the outdoor seating is reminiscent of battery cages. It's nice inside.

This brewery is very atmospheric inside, also because of the copper beer kettles. The weather was nice and we could sit outside on the terrace. The atmosphere was great and the staff friendly and hospitable. Because of the heat we chose a Weizen Pitcher beer (delicious). The menu consists mainly of typical German dishes. I chose the Schnitzel with fries and sauerkraut and my partner a spätzle oven dish. We enjoyed it. We thought it was a nice place in Duisburg!

Visited on recommendation and found a great beer 👍The Maibock was very drinkable, as was the naturally cloudy Pilsner. Service was nice and friendly, and prices were reasonable.

Unfortunately not....waited 2.5 hours for the food...and the taste, well...

We enjoyed our visit to the Webster Brauhaus. Excellent food and beer. What stands out apart from the above was the staff. They were extremely helpful and pleasant and appeared to enjoy working. Our only regret is we're not staying in Duisberg longer as we would return for another meal.

My husband really liked the pan-fried bratwurst dish. I probably chose the wrong dish at a brewery; Chicken fillet was dry and tough, I found the Salza topping unsuitable, vegetables were overcooked and spiced up with fresh spring onions. Potato pieces okay. Maybe you should take it off the map. Instead, half or quarter grilled chicken. Beers were great, as was the service.

The service is great, we both wanted to go in spontaneously and got a place straight away, even though everything was already fully booked and reserved. It was clear to us from the start that we had to get out again by 6:30 p.m. at the latest. The atmosphere is cozy - just a brewery. However, the food is purely a matter of personal taste. We decided on this - I call it "Brauhaus-Snack" - as a starter and two of these schnitzels with the highly praised malt-grit breading. Unfortunately, we discovered relatively quickly that the breading didn't really suit our taste. All in all, it was still a great visit and we got 3 decent portions for our money. So overall we give the brewery a well-intentioned and fair 4 out of 5 stars and will just try something different there next time and report back 👍

Recommendation if you just want to drink a beer - it tastes good! When evaluating the food, I can only refer to various schnitzel dishes. Generally wouldn't be my number 1 address for schnitzel - but I still remember it a little better from a few years ago! We both recently had one again and, firstly, it wasn't really big and secondly, neither of us liked it, neither the meat, nor the homemade mayo, nor the malt breadcrumbs that were so advertised. This tastes bland and yet more like eating litter. The consistency in the mouth is also not nice. There was also an overall rancid taste, as if the oil had been heated too much or was old. We also mentioned this, but it was met with astonishment (you can't even imagine!) Most of the time the staff tends to be sparsely staffed, but they are still nice! The atmosphere is rustic and cozy! Personally, I would just stop for a beer!
