The restaurant is rustic and simply designed. The dishes (octopus and steak according to the house style) were tasty and well seasoned. As a side dish with the fish there were boiled potatoes/salad and with the meat there were fresh fries/salad. The service is nice and efficient. Price performance ratio is appropriate

My review from today is a little special because my visit to Casa Aveiro in Münster left a lasting impression on me. We picked the restaurant out of the gourmet block and wanted to get to know Portuguese cuisine. The ambience was typically Mediterranean from the start. It was like we flew to Portugal and went to a typical local restaurant. The service was very good and the food was typically Mediterranean and lovingly homemade. Sebastian Lege would not have found any additives or convenience products. And at really fair prices. My wife and I were really blown away. We discovered a new destination for good food and hospitality in a place we wouldn't have been looking. Keep it up, you have new regulars.

3 stars because the steak and fries were really tasty. In addition, the food is quite inexpensive. Unfortunately, the salad dressing was too salty and too oily. As mentioned in other reviews, the facility is more like a clubhouse than a restaurant and is not very inviting. When we walked in we were asked by an employee if we had a voucher. She rudely explained to us that a reservation was actually required to redeem it. This information is missing on the voucher (Cityfortwo). Since 50% of the dishes on the menu can only be ordered in advance, the selection is very manageable. There is no vegetarian main course.

We were there for the first time yesterday - and it will definitely be the last time. Became aware of the "City for two" voucher booklet but the visit was quite disappointing. At first I couldn't do anything with the address or the pictures, it wasn't until they were there that I realized something. Next to a drinks market (but in the same building), more of a regulars' bar than a restaurant. One meal - the house-style steak - was still okay. The other two (the skewer and a steak with herb butter) weren't that great. Yes, it's relatively inexpensive - but the quality of the meat at both wasn't good. Sorry, but I can't say it any other way. I'm happy for everyone who was happy - we weren't.

It's more of a clubhouse than a restaurant, but the food was very good and the service was very nice. The prices are very good, especially the drinks and dessert are very cheap and overall it was a nice evening.

5 stars for authentic Portuguese cuisine. The inconspicuous restaurant hides more of the charm of a clubhouse than of a restaurant. But this is certainly also due to the fact that the frequented bars in Portugal tend to be bright and not necessarily designed to be “cozy”. Practical is more important here. Since the Portuguese are obviously the target group here, there are no German staff, but those present make a real effort. And so every wish is understood here and everything works out. If you want to eat more elaborately, you should read the menu beforehand and, if necessary, order in advance to avoid disappointment. We had pre-ordered chicken, as requested. Portuguese grilled chicken 😋😋😋, with fries, rice and salad. Everything here is handmade. Fries are not convenience but hand-cut. Butter rice and mixed salad in a southern vinegar and oil dressing complete the experience. The chicken itself came fresh from the grill and was again a dream. Behind this restaurant door, a short culinary visit to Portugal awaits every guest. We've been there several times and always enjoy going back.

My absolute favorite restaurant. No matter what you eat, top quality, everything homemade. We always come back, attentive, nice staff.

An incredibly bad restaurant. Even the first sight gave me an extremely uncomfortable feeling. It looked like a construction site with a few set tables and cheap chairs. The one employee who could be found served us nicely in broken German. After ordering the drinks, the Coca Cola glasses quickly came to the table. My buddy, who unfortunately had to suffer me to come with me, noticed that my empty glass was already stained. He had examined it in his hand and the waitress was uncomfortable and quickly replaced it and apologized. However, when the new glass was served, it also had lime stains. Whatever, what doesn't kill me makes me stronger. The food came. The steak was served on a hot stone and was accompanied by a bowl of cheap olives and a bowl of poorly made chips. I was skeptical, but gave it a chance. You shouldn't judge too quickly. Oh well. The quality of the meat was indescribably poor and the fries were bottomless. The water was the best part of the whole thing. I had to have most of it packed up and moved off site because I didn't want anyone to see it. It's a real shame that the voucher that paid for my meal didn't include a drink. All of this wasn't worth €1-2.

Das Essen war ok, die Preise ok, jedoch war jedes zweite Gericht nicht verfügbar. Viele weitere Gerichte musste man vorbestellen, somit war quasi keine Auswahl gegeben. Die Preise auf der Karte im Internet sind nicht mehr aktuell!Die Location geht garnicht. Es ist kein Restaurant, sondern ein Clubheim. Die Toiletten waren sehr abenteuerlich und können einige Geschichten erzählen. Eine Heizung kann es nicht gegeben haben, es war sehr kalt. Der Service war nicht aufmerksam, wir wurden nicht einmal nach weiteren Getränkewünschen gefragt. Stattdessen fingen die Angestellten an selbst zu essen. Ich kann nicht nachvollziehen woher die 5 Sterne Bewertungen kommen, wir werden dieses Restaurant nie wieder besuchen.

Wir waren schon zwei Mal dort und es war immer gut. Super Portionen und immer sehr lecker. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Das Ambiente ist recht einfach und wirkt authentisch portugiesisch. Der Service ist freundlich, die Preise günstig. Leider ist das Essen nicht so gut wie erhofft. Von unserem Lieblings-Portugiesen ist es sehr weit entfernt.

Waren heute zum ersten Mal dort und wir waren wirklich positiv überrascht, da das Interieur eher schlicht und nicht durchdesigned ist. ABER das Essen war wirklich super lecker! Wir haben unter anderem Gambas bestellt und wir haben die Sauce bis zum letzten Tropfen aufgegessen. Wirklich zu empfehlen wer auf gutes Essen steht 😌☝🏻

Als erstes erstmal, es war mega kalt in dem Raum, eine Unverschämtheit! Das Essen war okay, mehr aber auch nicht! Der Service war bemüht, leider auch nicht mehr! Als erstes flog ein Glas Portwein quer über den Tisch! Kann passieren, na klar, passte aber ins Bild! War ein Versuch, aber für uns das erste und letzte Mal!

Das Essen war der absolute Hammer! Ich hätte mich reinlegen können. Das Ambiente ist eher schlicht gehalten, aber darüber kann ich hinwegsehen, wenn ich soooo ein Essen bekomme

Ich habe im Juli d. J. telefonisch einen Tisch für heute Abend bestellt und es wurde alles sehr freundlich entgegengenommen. Nun standen wir heute vor verschlossener Tür. Sehr schade 🤔

Wir haben heute im Casa Aveiro einen Kurzurlaub in Portugal verbracht. Sehr gute und reichliche Gerichte. Wir hatten die Dorade und den Spieß mit Steak, Calamaris und Oktopus. Das Steak auf den Punkt medium gebraten, tolle Dorade ! Sehr leckere Pommes frites. Getränkepreise günstig. Sehr nettes Personal, fühlten uns sehr willkommen. Der rote Hauswein trocken, absolute Empfehlung! Das Ambiente etwas nüchtern, ohne viel Schnickschnack. Für einige bestimmt zu nüchtern, wir fühlten uns dort an unseren Portugalurlaub erinnert, einfach nur sitzen und lecker essen. Der Chef kam extra aus der Küche um den spendierten Kaffee mit uns zu trinken. Perfekte Anbindung mit dem Bus zum Bahnhof in Münster. DICKES DANKESCHÖN für einen tollen Abend! Das Ambiente ist nicht so mein Geschmack...Soll wohl was von Mittelmeer haben..aber leider fehlt das Mittel zum Meer. Mein Lokal isses jetzt nicht unbedingt. Personal ist sehr freundlich!!
