Anyone who passes by here should take the time to take a break. Nice view, very good food for a good price, especially considering the portion size. We went there twice in a row and were not disappointed. Very friendly and fast service, you can tell that someone here enjoys serving. We'd love to come back, that says it all.

Today we were at the terminus for the first time. Unfortunately our vacation at Edersee has come to an end. We would definitely have gone there more often. A super warm, friendly and nice service. Always a funny saying on his lips. The food was very tasty. You can sit there well and have a beautiful view of the Edersee. Even in the rain. Our dog was also very welcome. Keep it up. We hope to see you again on our next vacation at Edersee.

Thank you very much, dear coincidence, that we found our way here. A quick trip back and forth with the ship and during that time the anticipation of something particularly tasty was saved until we got back. Because just 10m from the jetty you can stop at the restaurant and cafe “Zur Endstation” with a fantastic view in a beautiful, quiet location. Hot brownies or tasty foods are extremely good. Even if you want to drink a good hot chocolate instead of coffee, you will be surprised at how good it is, especially in decent dishes, really fine. Next time we'll take more time so that we can spend a little longer in the day with various activities and then stop off here again. Very tasty food served by hospitable staff. You can enjoy the view of Lake Edersee in peace. You have to get to know the final stop.

It was only by chance that we came to the “final stop” for a family dinner with 10 people. It was definitely worth it. In addition to the very cheerful service staff, the kitchen staff also did an excellent job. It's rare that 10 out of 10 people had absolutely nothing to complain about with the food, service, ambience or price. Hence the full 5 stars here. I can recommend it to everybody.

Wir waren am Urwaldsteig wandern. Abschluss in der Endstation. Einfach super. Klasse Qualität des Essens und super freundliche Bedienung.

We went hiking and stopped there for a few drinks. The restaurant and café is beautifully located and decorated so that you feel very comfortable indoors and outdoors. We didn't eat there because we had just finished that. But the other guests seemed very happy and the cake looked really good! A special compliment to the host, who is super friendly and you definitely get the feeling that he enjoys his job! Despite the 5 stars, I had one small suggestion: There was no vegan dish on the menu or, alternatively, a note that they would be happy to make this possible. Personally, I don't really consider restaurants that don't take vegans into account for their food in some way, because not all of them spontaneously do so upon request.

I don't rate places very often, but I just have to give this one 5 stars. We stopped there after a hike and didn't eat anything, just drank something, so I can't rate the food at all. But everything that came out looked very good and the group at the next table obviously enjoyed it very much, so it won't be that bad. 😀 But what I actually want to rate as absolutely positive here is the way we felt welcome there. The employees were all extremely friendly, courteous and an example of how to treat other people. Not at all fake friendly, just authentic. Others can take an example from that. Not just in gastronomy, but in life in general. After a good hour we moved on, but I could have easily held out for a few more hours. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely come back and probably eat something next time. 🤣 So if anyone reads this review: go and see for yourself, you won't regret it. And to the final destination team: keep it up. 👍

Went there for dinner yesterday. The restaurant offers space for many people. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. Parking spaces are available in the area with some walking distance. The food came to the table quickly after ordering and tasted very good. The schnitzel is homemade and very tasty. I can only recommend this. All in all a very good visit. I can only recommend the place and the brownie is also recommended.

We were there with the family and everyone enjoyed the food very much. Despite the high number of people (Ascension Day), the service was very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the toilets were blocked, so you had to use the staff toilet and another toilet, but this was communicated well and didn't pose a problem at that point. Tip: you should definitely try the homemade apple strudel! Conclusion: the final stop is highly recommended with excellent cuisine and super competent service.

Very dirty toilets, water on the floor, no soap, no towels. Food cold, expensive and not edible. Edersee is beautiful, but the restaurant can't help it.

Last year we ended up there by chance on a short vacation - and have since come back twice because... The location is great, the service too and the food especially! You can sit wonderfully on the terrace right by the lake and eat really delicious food. The boss and staff are super nice and sometimes take the time to chat with the guests. We'll definitely come back when we're at Edersee again.

We visited with 9 people on the opening day of the 2024 season. The phone calls alone (reservation, arrival time postponed, but rather inside instead of outside 🫣) were very nice. The food was excellent, the dish of the day (lamb with... ☺️) and the 3 other dishes were also excellent. Since we plan to vacation there again, we will definitely visit the restaurant again.

Today we were at the last stop for the first and definitely not the last time. The main course, herb sour cream schnitzel, was super tasty and the fried potatoes were exceptionally good and fresh. Since the apple strudel caught my eye as soon as I entered the restaurant, we (luckily!) decided on dessert. The apple strudel is definitely homemade, which is a rarity these days and you can taste it. The friendly and attentive service from Renate and Felix rounded off our evening. Thank you for that and we wish you a great start to the 2024 season - see you soon.

Die beiden Inhaber sind sehr freundlich, auch bei vollem Haus. Das Essen ist reichlich und sehr lecker. Hier gehen wir gerne wieder hin. Weiter so!!!! Freitag kommen wir zum Fisch essen. Super Ort zum Entspannen und lecker Essen. Man genießt den Ausblick auf den Edersee und wird sehr freundlich bedient. War mit meiner Familie mehrere Male während unseres Aufenthaltes am Edersee dort zum Essen..... Ein ausführliches Lob an die Küche 🤤 sehr sehr gut.

Was soll man zu so einem abgelegenen Ort nur sagen.... Ruhig und ein schöner Blick auf den Edersee. Das essen war sehr lecker 😋 und die Bedienungen sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und nett. Ich hatte das Schnitzel mit Kräuter quark und Bratkartoffeln, dazu einen sehr leckeren beilagensalat. (Vergessen Foto zu machen 🙄). Hier kann man auch mit Karte zahlen (find ich persönlich wichtig) und es gibt WLAN 👌. An heißen Tagen können die Kinder auch gleich in den See hüpfen. Ich kann diese location nur sehr empfehlen.

Wir waren heute bei ambitionierten Klimaverhältnissen zum Dinner in der Endstation. Wir waren erwartungsgemäß sehr begeistert ob der Schmackhaftigkeit der leckeren Speisen und der zugewandten Servicequalität. Wenn wir hier wohnen würden, wäre es unsere kulinarische Endstation. L.G. Trotz fortgeschrittener Uhrzeit, bekamen wir noch ein sehr leckeres Mittagessen. Frisch zubereitet und zügig serviert, so stelle ich mir einen guten Servive vor. Dass zwei Radfahrer Durst haben, wurde vom Ober sofort erkannt und die Getränke leißen nicht auf sich warten. Eine sehr nette Ansprache und überaus freundliches Personal, damit fühlten wir uns wohl.Wir können das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen und werden bei unserem nächsten Besuch wieder einkehren.

Haben bei unserer Radrundfahrt um den Edersee hier halt gemacht. Waren am Anfang einfach nur froh, bei dem regnerischen Augustwetter ein Restaurant zu finden und trocken zu sitzen. Vorspeise und Hauptspeise sehr lecker. Essen normalerweise keine Vorspeise, aber das hat sich so lecker gelesen und hat auch so geschmeckt. Sehr gutes Angebot, dass sich auch von anderen abhebt. Supernette und um uns bemühte Bedienung. Selbst bei schlechtem Wetter schöner Blick über den Edersee. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir am Edersee sind.

Am letzten Tag unseres Urlaubs am Edersee haben wir die Empfehlung unserer Vermieter der Ferienwohnung umgesetzt und sind in der Endstation eingekehrt. Wäre es der erste Urlaubstag gewesen.... die anderen Restaurants in der Umgebung hätten es schwer gehabt uns als Gäste zu bewirten, denn wir wären wohl kaum noch woanders hingegangen. Der Service... mit lockerem Mundwerk ohne dabei unverschämt zu werden, hat uns mit Humor, Aufmerksamkeit und Kompetenz überzeugt. Uns wurde das Gefühl erweckt, dass der junge Mann Spaß an seinem Beruf hat. Die Küche hingegen hat "humorlos" einfach nur Geschmack, Qualität und Handwerksgeschick auf die Teller gebracht und uns damit überzeugt. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und wir werden wohl kaum mehr 200gr Ziegenkäse gewichtsmäßig derart als Vorspeise unterschätzen, wie wir es getan haben. Soll heißen: es bedarf keines 5-Gänge Menüs um endlich mal satt zu werden. Erschwerend kommt wohl auch noch die tolle Aussicht über Edersee und Kellerwald hinzu, welche zweifelsohne den Blick fesseln. Fazit: Super Service gepaart mit gutem Essen und einem schönen Ambiente ist sicherlich den ein oder anderen weiteren Besuch wert, wenn wir mal wieder in der Gegend sind. Vielen Dank für den gelungenen Abschluss unseres Urlaubs.

We hebben hier zeer goed gegeten, erg vriendelijke waard, die ons aardig hielp. Vooral omdat we wat anders wilde dan op de kaart stond (dieetwens), en hij ons daarmee bereidwillig hielp! Heel goeie rumpsteak en een fijne mooie meerval gegeten. Helaas geen tijd meer voor een dessert, misschien de volgende keer. Die volgende keer komt er zeker!
