Unfortunately, the staff is untrained and therefore not suitable for this type of establishment. Sometimes it takes a while to be served.

We received fabulous service and care. The food was also highly recommended.

We stayed with our four grandchildren from August 30th to September 6th in a holiday home on the Edersee. Six of us visited the restaurant at the end station twice. It was excellent value for money and absolutely perfect. The service was very friendly, and everyone enjoyed the food. If we ever come back to the Edersee, we'll eat there again.

A lovely restaurant with a fantastic view, it's a great place to linger. The homemade apple strudel was truly delicious.

Yesterday we visited the Edersee and stopped at "Zur Endstation" for lunch. We received a very (very) friendly welcome. The restaurant is run by a young couple. They both love what they do, and you can feel it as a guest. Keep up the good work and good luck.

We ate here today on our Edersee tour. A warmth and enjoyment of what you do is something you rarely find these days. You immediately feel at home. The food was delicious. A great place to relax (our dog thought so too today 😉 We've rarely experienced such a relaxing experience). Definitely stop by; I highly recommend it.

Delicious food in a beautiful location! We received a friendly welcome and were able to sit outside with a lovely view of Lake Edersee. The food arrived quickly, was delicious, and more than enough. And as mentioned, the ladies who helped us were very friendly, even to our children. Absolutely recommended and worth the detour!

The schnitzel with fried potatoes and the side salad is highly recommended. The fries in the second dish were overseasoned (unusually strong for the kind you'd normally order). Overall, though, it was excellent.

We were at the Edersee over Pentecost and stopped by "Zur Endstation" twice. The schnitzels are so delicious! The service is excellent, and the location right on the lake is fantastic. A fantastic team that managed everything perfectly, despite the stressful situation on the Thursday after Pentecost. If we ever come back to the Edersee, we'll definitely have schnitzel at "Zur Endstation."

I've been there twice and would go again. I have nothing to criticize. The schnitzel was freshly prepared, and the mushroom sauce isn't mass-produced. The beetroot gnocchi with the sauce and Parmesan cheese weren't your average dish either. The quality of the ingredients was excellent. I'm happy to give it 6 out of 5 stars.

The service was very friendly, the food was delicious, and the dishes were attractively presented. The prices were reasonable. There are dog bowls with water for dogs, at least on the terrace. We didn't go inside because of the great weather.

Many thanks to Felix and the team. The name says it all; this is truly the end of the line. Overall, everything was very positive, except for the garlic, which shouldn't be in the food at all. The surroundings could be a bit more well-kept. Unfortunately, the yacht club's mowing lawn was only partially tamperable.

Nice terrace, but the apple strudel is the least delicious I've ever eaten. €6.50 for a dry pastry with apple pieces inside. That's really too expensive. Cappuccino now also €4.00 Ouch, this is all getting too expensive!

Great food and ambience with a view of the Edersee.

We were stranded there with our bikes on Saturday evening (no more ferry, empty battery, etc.). The boss (Felix) tried to get a taxi for us and we were able to wait for the taxi in the restaurant (despite it being closed) and have something to drink. Totally nice and helpful! Next time we'll come to eat. Thank you again!

What magical hosts! On Easter Monday we sat on the terrace with a wonderful view of the lake. Felix and Sabrina were incredibly nice, caring and attentive in their service throughout the evening and the schnitzel with mushroom sauce was really great.

For me, Zur Endstation was not only a culinary highlight, but also an oasis of peace and hospitality. A place that I can warmly recommend to every cyclist and connoisseur.

Today we were at the terminus for the first time. Unfortunately our vacation at Edersee has come to an end. We would definitely have gone there more often. A super warm, friendly and nice service. A quick trip back and forth with the ship and during that time the anticipation of something particularly tasty was saved until we got back. Because just 10m from the jetty you can stop at the restaurant and cafe “Zur Endstation” with a fantastic view in a beautiful, quiet location. Hot brownies or tasty foods are extremely good. Even if you want to drink a good hot chocolate instead of coffee, you will be surprised at how good it is, especially in decent dishes, really fine. Next time we'll take more time so that we can spend a little longer in the day with various activities and then stop off here again. Wir waren am Urwaldsteig wandern. Abschluss in der Endstation. Einfach super. Klasse Qualität des Essens und super freundliche Bedienung.

It was only by chance that we came to the “final stop” for a family dinner with 10 people. It was definitely worth it. In addition to the very cheerful service staff, the kitchen staff also did an excellent job. It's rare that 10 out of 10 people had absolutely nothing to complain about with the food, service, ambience or price. Hence the full 5 stars here. I can recommend it to everybody.

We went hiking and stopped there for a few drinks. The restaurant and café is beautifully located and decorated so that you feel very comfortable indoors and outdoors. We didn't eat there because we had just finished that. But the other guests seemed very happy and the cake looked really good! A special compliment to the host, who is super friendly and you definitely get the feeling that he enjoys his job! Despite the 5 stars, I had one small suggestion: There was no vegan dish on the menu or, alternatively, a note that they would be happy to make this possible. Personally, I don't really consider restaurants that don't take vegans into account for their food in some way, because not all of them spontaneously do so upon request.

If I'm in the area again I'll definitely come back and probably eat something next time. 🤣 So if anyone reads this review: go and see for yourself, you won't regret it. Went there for dinner yesterday. The restaurant offers space for many people. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. Parking spaces are available in the area with some walking distance. The food came to the table quickly after ordering and tasted very good. The schnitzel is homemade and very tasty. I can only recommend this. All in all a very good visit. I can only recommend the place and the brownie is also recommended.
