We “had” to stay outside because of a birthday and high occupancy, but we were able to sit on the terrace at table 85 instead of celebrating the 85th inside. But speaks for the kitchen if the relatives show up so late so that at least they don't miss the meal! In return we had a great view of the lake (due to the construction fence) and one or all excellent service. Repetition is absolutely certain, where do you get a personal farewell when the (name redacted, probably storm) is raging outside on the flagpole.🌪️🍹 But we agreed... The train has to go! That was also what the gentlemen at the next table thought, who were also quite happy with their cake and perhaps just could have used a photographer to be there together on the souvenir. Next time we don't have to protect our schnitzel from mouth robbers from the sidewalk!😄

Wir waren zu viert am Nachmittag zum Essen hier. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und flott. Etwas zu flott kam das Essen. Keine 10 Minuten für 3 Schnitzel und einen Sauerbraten. Wir sind uns sicher, dass hier ausnahmslos Convinience- Produkte auf den Teller kommen, was wir nicht schlimm finden, denn es wird sehr gute Ware eingekauft. Wenn das für den Koch so in Ordnung ist, dann passt das.

Located directly at the Biggesee passenger boat pier and the beach promenade in Sondern. The location is A1 and offers water views from many places. Many of the guests are excursionists who combine a visit to this restaurant with a boat tour. I admit that this initially made me a bit suspicious, as tourist restaurants often offer varying quality. Wrongfully! The food and drink were good to very good, the service was really competent and friendly. Modernizing the interior wouldn't hurt either, some things seem a bit old-fashioned now. But overall really good!

It was a very hot day and there was a lot of activity in the restaurant. Despite everything, the service was SUPER friendly but not intrusive. Our dog was given water without asking. The food was super tasty. We'll definitely come back

One Saturday we went on a trip to celebrate the early 40th anniversary of our bowling club. Finally we came here to eat. We all really enjoyed it, the food was excellent, the service was very good, and at the end we were able to sit outside. This wasn't possible at first because all the seats were reserved and we had reserved for inside. It's hard to believe you've never been there before. Definitely highly recommended, but reserve in advance. I wish you an unforgettable stay.

Exceptional location directly at the train stop with a view of the Biggesee and the pier. The train announcements for the non-moving trains on platform 2 provide amusement - there is only one track ;-). Great food, something for everyone.

Went there for the second time today and caught schnitzel day, a manageable portion at a bargain price of €15.90. The side salad tasted good. The schnitzels look very good. Schnitzel Zi.... [Type] more likely, using up leftovers.... canned pineapple, tomato stalks, leftover mushrooms... the sauce overall was very sweet, and when I asked, I got the answer from the very self-confident waitress that she liked the gypsy sauce so much gladly, and it would always be done like that... sorry... nothing to do with enjoyment for me, and you don't have to fry the thin schnitzel to pieces... It's a shame... and it's a shame to react like that, I'm not interested in what the service is.... brrrr... not again, if it's really always like that

Restaurant Seeterrassen in Sondern: Last week, Thursday, schnitzel day, the schnitzel dish was an absolute disgrace, children's schnitzel, 5 croquettes, maggi sauce and salad 08/15 for the price is not possible. Unfortunately no star, didn't taste good and the portion only remained in the fridge at home. Never again!!

Das Personal war soweit freundlich und bemüht, jedoch nicht wirklich ausgebildet oder geschult. Wir saßen mehrfach vor leeren Tellern, ohne dass diese vom vorbeikommenden Personal abgeräumt wurden. Das Hauptgericht wurde vom Kellner erst bestellt, nachdem die Vorspeise beendet war, was zu einer unnötigen Wartezeit geführt hat. Sehr positiv war der hausgemachte Salat (Vorspeise) und die Salatmenge und -Qualität zum Hauptgericht. Die Schnitzel wurden augenscheinlich leider industriell hergestellt (Sebastian Lege hat gezeigt wie das geht), was den meisten Gästen wahrscheinlich nicht auffallen dürfte. Die Chamignons schmeckten so intensiv, dass wir den Einsatz von Geschmacksverstärkern vermuten müssen. Die Location ist offensichtlich in erster Linie auf Masse ausgerichtet (eine Philosophiefrage), mehr Klasse hätten wir besser gefunden und hätten dafür auch gerne ein paar Euro mehr ausgegeben.

We were there last Sunday. So good weather and reasonably busy. First we went to the playground next door with our three children and then came back here. We got a table outside upon request. Since the children were able to observe what was happening around them, the trains, the people, the ships, etc., it was also a relaxing stay for mom and dad. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Everything clean. It's certainly not the last time we've been there.

Eigentlich hatte die Küche schon geschlossen. Auf Nachfrage wurden wir dennoch sehr freundlich und nett empfangen. Die Bedienung war ausnahmslos freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war hervorragend, vor allem das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Tolle Lage,super Personal,gute Qualität. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen und vor allem auch weiterempfehlen.Kompliment an das Personal und die Geschäftsführung.

Hohe Qualität erneut bestätigt, uneingeschränkte Empfehlung! Wir haben am Steak-Tag (Mittwochs) das Rumpsteak gegessen, sehr gute Fleischqualität, Garpunkt getroffen, leckere Pfeffersauce, Beilagensalat eine Wucht! Although rather inconspicuous from the outside, this restaurant has a special quality. The menu is varied (unfortunately only Krombacher beers) and the service is friendly and quick. We had 4 different dishes and all were very tasty. In summer there is a beautiful terrace with a direct view of Lake Biggesee. On the weekends only with advance reservation otherwise no chance, now reservations are actually required every day.

The traditional cuisine is always very good and the staff is friendly and very attentive. I look forward to being there again soon and meeting the very friendly people in the restaurant. We went there again and it was excellent. Back soon.

It was our first time there and we will definitely come back. Our service was courteous, attentive, nice and didn't seem the least bit stressed, even though almost all the tables were occupied. The food was really delicious, from the starter to the main course and dessert :-)
