The waiters don't treat foreigners properly, the prices are normal, and the service and attitude are poor! When there is free entry, the waiters say there is no free table, even though there are free tables. After they went outside to smoke from the second floor, they were barely allowed back, even though customs don't look that way!

Nice location, right on the market square. Ice cream and shake was ok, ambience is fine, but the toilets were disgusting. Broken, dirty, no towels, the smell was disgusting. I hope it doesn't look the same in the kitchen!

The food was tasty but bistro quality. Since we didn't expect anything else, it tasted good. The price was rather hefty, but given the ambience - market place - it was okay and unfortunately normal now. Operation, service and waiting time were also satisfactory. If you're looking for a good stone oven pizza, you'll have to eat somewhere else.

I highly do not recommend it. We were the whole family, including the children. We ordered four different dishes, all were very poor or average at best. The waiter was toothless but very nice, he tried hard and served quickly, even though the waiting time was very long.

The three of us were just there for lunch. The conclusion is that we would have gotten off better with a snack at the market if we didn't have to go to the toilet. We were lucky that we were sitting right next to the door, you wouldn't think so at first. But then you go to the toilet and the smell gets worse and worse! When you open the toilet door and you're faced with the worst smell, you stop yourself from doing something. More like a train station toilet than a restaurant toilet. The service was okay, no smiles, but it could be worse. The only drawback here is that a spoon that fell on the floor was put back in the cutlery basket. The food is overpriced! Paying almost 20 euros for a not particularly large portion of pasta is too expensive, even despite the increase in VAT. Especially if the food is on the lower end in terms of taste and quality. The ham in the sauces is weak, wholesale and really not good. The sauces seem more like ready-made ones and are not really seasoned and almost tasteless. And the noodles themselves were overcooked. The gnocchi quadro formacci contained a piece of ham and a piece of gratinated cheese. How do they get in there? You don't know... All in all, an unsatisfactory visit and when we're back in Halle, we won't be going in there again.

Never again. One star is still too many. The pungent and constant smell of toilet throughout the restaurant is so disgusting. If you then have to go to the toilet, things get weird. It smells unbearable. There is no toilet paper or towels and the doors are broken. If you read the reviews, the smell has been going on for years. Unfortunately I only read the reviews after eating. The food is also very expensive. This doesn't work at all. No guests are allowed to be entertained like this.

Es gab leider nicht viel Auswahl, so bin ich in diesem Restaurant gelandet, ohne vorher darüber recherchiert zu haben. Bedienung befriedigend, Pizza schmeckte überhaupt nicht! Selten so schlechte Pizza gegessen. Für eine kleine Cola und eine normale Pizza wurden 22 Euro fällig, was bei der Qualität und Bedingung total überteuert ist! Bei der super Lage des Restaurants, hätte man so viel rausholen können. Verschenkten Potenzial. Einmal und nie wieder. Lieber bestelle ich in einem Dönerladen eine Pizza.

We cannot understand the negative reviews. We had ordered a table for 8 people for our daughter's 18th birthday. Great service, very nice waiter who was always nice and accommodating. No matter whether it was the menu, drinks or food, everything went quickly and the food was super tasty, whether it was pizza, tortellini or spaghetti.

Very disappointing. We'll never go there again. Today on September 17th, 2024 we wanted to eat an ice cream sundae there and decided on a spaghetti ice cream sundae. It came pretty quickly but the ice cream was terrible. As if it was already weeks old. It was like it had been frozen and thawed and it also tasted like nothing and was watery. The strawberry sauce had a strange aftertaste as if it was bad and the portion itself was very small. Luckily in our case. I would have liked to express my displeasure but the waiter was so unfriendly that I didn't. He neither asked if it was tasty nor said goodbye. He packed up the money without a word and simply left. I've never experienced anything like that. Maybe we didn't bring in as much sales, I don't know.

Unfortunately, the taste of the food wasn't great. Completely overpriced. You could rather order the Italian home and sit relaxed on the couch. The staff rattles off the standard phrases, with a monotone tone of voice, no smile and no eye contact.

The food has little to do with Italy. Pizza Margherita without mozzarella with normal cheese and without basil. Antipasti al forno essentially consisted of carrots, cauliflower and Brussels sprouts!? But taste wise so far. O. Prices are generally high.

I wanted to give it a second chance but was very disappointed again. The pineapple on my sundae was no longer yellow but brown and bad. Same with my apple pieces, more than brown. I'm not coming back. I'm not a fan of such bad reviews but you should really work on yourself here. The wait staff should practice their politeness more and the food should be checked.

Came just to have an ice cream sundae and a milkshake. The service was quick and attentive. There is a large selection of food and drinks, but the prices are very outrageous. A very small milkshake costs 6€, an ice cream sundae with 3 slices of a strawberry, kiwi and brown banana in the size for more than 10€ is a disgrace.

I haven't eaten such bad pizza in a long time and at absurd prices. Well, that's what happens when you go in somewhere hungry and on the chance. Absolutely no recommendation. The unfriendly waiter was the icing on the cake. Never again!

The tiramisu doesn't really taste good. The one from Lidl is better and only costs a fraction. The cream in the spaghetti ice cream and the tiramisu tasted a bit rancid. The service seemed annoyed and stressed even though there were only people in the coffee shop. (The beer garden was empty due to rain)

For a 16€ pizza cold frozen broccoli is very disappointing.

I was dining alone in the restaurant outside under the canopy's which was welcoming in the 30 degrees heat. The waiter was friendly and very professional. I had a couple of beers and some king prawns with rice. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, it was perfect, succulent and healthy . I hope the photo comes up well. A pleasurable experience and would go again next time.

I recently visited a restaurant and had a highly disappointing experience due to the behavior of the staff. They were extremely arrogant and disrespectful, making the entire visit unpleasant. When we ordered two Americanos, the waiter reacted very irritably and we were told that he had never heard of this drink in his 20 years at the Italian restaurant and that he was sure that none of his colleagues knew this drink either. Not recommendable. We were at Rossini over the weekend and the store won't see us again. The ambience seems worn and could do with a complete renovation. The restaurant has the charm of the late 90s. The table we were given was still filled with dishes from the guests in front of us. It was cleared away, but the leftover food was not removed. The service was ok, but the food was “disgusting” for us. We had 4 pizzas. They were the cheapest ingredients that were probably available on the bottom shelf in the metro. The ham was visibly the cheapest form or pressed meat. The Hawaiian pizza with canned pineapple, the salami pizza made from the cheapest, slightly rancid tasting "salami". But the most disgusting thing was the cheese. For us it had more of the taste and consistency of the cheapest analogue cheese. Even the children disdained it. At just under 15 euros per pizza it was an absolute failure. By the way, some of the cutlery was dirty. No, in our opinion the restaurant is not worth visiting.

I visited several cafés in Halle to eat a piece of Black Forest cake. Here at Rossini I found what I was looking for after 3 hours! My wife and I were served promptly and politely. A beautiful ambience and a wonderful view over the market rewarded us for all our efforts. Thanks!

Came here spontaneously. Despite the time (early afternoon), the restaurant was busy. We were seated in the middle area of ​​the restaurant, on a platform that gave us a beautiful view of the market square. The rooms are quite comfortably furnished, more like a bistro. However, the table decorations were uninviting, if there were any at all. We sat between several families. Not only that, but also because of that, it was quite loud. Not so nice if you want to eat comfortably and have a chat. There seems to be enough space, why not divide it up? The menu is manageable, which I think is good because it makes choosing easier. We chose two pasta dishes that were extremely tasty. They were also served quite quickly and, above all, very hot. Top! The drinks, on the other hand, were a flop. I only know a stale ginger ale if the 1.5l bottle sits open for two or three days... The pricing is sporty. 16 to 19 euros for a pasta dish is a lot for a rather small portion with a classic German salad garnish (sigh), which absolutely doesn't fit. No basil, no parmesan. Too bad too! The service was politely distant, yet quick and routine. I liked that. Excessive friendliness and constant questions are not my thing. The waiter also gets sympathy points because he seems to have managed the service largely on his own and still kept an overview. Conclusion: We'll happily come back for the pasta, but probably not on the weekend.

The restaurant offers very tasty food and an extensive drinks menu - at not exactly low prices. The restaurant's kitchen did an excellent job, in my case spaghetti Bolognese, impeccable pasta and a fine sauce. What was a bit of a shame was that the parmesan (which was available upon request but was free) tasted very industrial and quite dry. All in all, definitely very good. Previously there was a portion of bruschette, which would be a bit much for just one person, but is still quite expensive at almost 15 euros. But it also tasted very tasty, so you really can't complain. The service was also good, the service was quick and attentive and there was almost always a waiter on hand. As already mentioned - the good food here really has its price - you can't get away with it particularly cheaply here. You can hardly get anything for food here for less than 10 euros; the pizzas in particular are almost all priced at 14-16 euros. In addition, the VAT increase will probably entail such costs that a further price increase is planned for the beginning of March. All in all, a clear recommendation - if money isn't that important.

The Rossini has a very nice location. But the service staff are an absolute disaster. Especially on the ground floor there is an older lady serving... the manner of this woman makes you lose any appetite for coffee and cake, she is the height of the unfriendliness of the entire staff. However, if you tip properly, you will be greeted with a handshake and feigned friendliness. The toilets...I've never seen anything like that in a restaurant in my entire life...the toilet doesn't flush properly, it's unclean...unbelievable. You indirectly get the impression that this is about something other than pizza, coffee and cake... Absolutely no recommendation!!!

Vom Personal fühlt man sich leider nicht willkommen, die Atmosphäre eher ungemütlich, die Toiletten und der Geruch im Treppenaufgang sind absolut ekelhaft und ein Glas Cola für über 5€? Das Bedarf keiner Wiederholung.

Nun ja, das Restaurant hat längst seine besten Jahre hinter sich. Die Aussicht ist natürlich schön, die Pizza normal, relativ unruhig, der Knüller sind die Toiletten ... Schade um das Potenzial das diese Location haben könnte.

Wir sind spontan mit Hunger hier umher geirrt. Das Ambiete wirkte etwas veraltet, aber der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich uns gegenüber. Das Essen kam, weil es auch nicht allzu voll war, recht zügig. Für den Preis war das Essen OK, aber kein Gourmet Essen.

Ich hoffe wir haben einfach einen schlechten Tag erwischt!Zur Vorspeise gab es Bruschetta.Das war sehr lecker.Zum Hauptgang hatten wir Spagetti mit Olivenöl, Knobi und Chili.Das war leider wirklich schlecht trotz der Einfachheit des Gerichts.Die Nudeln waren völlig zerkocht und lagen Im Teller in einer Lache Nudelwasser.Es war kaum etwas vom Öl und dem Knobi zu schmecken, nur am Chilli wurde nicht gespart, so dass es einen fast die Socken auszog.Leider gab's auch kein Parmesan dazu gereicht.....schade!Auch der Kellner machte einen genervten Eindruck und die WC's waren nicht sauber. :-(

Wir haben mit 4 Personen je ein günstiges Eis für 1€ pro Kugel am Wagen gekauft und hatten vor uns draußen an einen der vielen leeren Tische zu setzen da wir eigentlich noch jeder einen Cappuccino trinken wollten. Noch bevor wir die Chance hatten uns zu setzen wurden wir direkt unfreundlich verscheucht, da das Eis nur zur Mitnahme wäre. Wir haben daraufhin gegenüber bei der Konkurenz sehr leckeren Cappuccino erhalten und waren sehr zufrieden. Auch das Eis durften wir dort weiter essen. Man hätte uns vielleicht vorher fragen können ob wir noch etwas verzehren möchten. Schade!

Service und das Essen sind gut. Schnelle Bedienung und keine lange Wartezeit. Enttäuscht bin ich vom inneren Ambiente, was sehr nachgelassen.

Das Essen war gut und reichlich. Wir saßen am Fenster, wo es sehr zugig war. Es waren alle durchgefroren. Die Toilette war nicht einladend.

Waren heute hier essen, das Personal war unfreundlich und das Essen hat nach nichts geschmeckt- für den Preis geht das gar nicht. Auf Nachfrage nach einem möglichen Einpacken des Essens kam eine patzige Antwort und auch sonst war keinerlei Freundlichkeit zu spüren. Sind ziemlich enttäuscht, gehen lieber zu Bella Italia, war leider heute geschlossen!!

Ich war heute mit Freunden Pizza essen, ich bin enttäuscht, die Preise sind sehr hoch und die Qualität mangelhaft, für diesen Preis habe ich etwas Besseres erwartet, die Pizza hatte 3 rohe Pilze und 2 Stück billigen Schinken, trockenen Teig ohne Soße und etwas Käse. Ich werde auf keinen Fall wiederkommen und kann es auch niemandem empfehlen

Ich empfehle es nicht. Ich habe Lasagne bestellt, die Portion war sehr klein. Es wurde viel Soße hinzugefügt, es schmeckte wie Tomatensuppe. Die Pizza war schrecklich. Die Preise sind dem Geschmack völlig unangemessen, meiner Meinung nach zu hoch. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant und die Lage waren schön - zwei Sterne.

Das Essen war lecker, wir hatten Pizza, da kann man aber auch nicht viel falsch machen. Die Bedienung hat sehr lange gebraucht und war recht desinteressiert. Was aber das schlimmste ist sind die Toiletten, der Klorollenhalter ist mit Panzertape an der Wand fest geklebt und die Klos sind grauen schon länger nicht mehr gereinigt worden.

Preise und Größe/Qualität vom Eis sind in keinem realistischen Verhältnis. Nicht sehr zu empfehlen

Das Restaurant liegt in der Innerstadt am Hauptmarkt. Eigentlich ein sehr guter Standort, dafür. Leider ist das Personal etwas (schnippisch), also etwas genervt. Liegt vielleicht auch an der Stadt, welche nicht einmal öffentliche Toiletten am Hauptmarkt hat, aber ein Fest der Superlative abhält. Die Sterne für die Stadt Halle sind -2 für das Angebot an öffentlichen Toiletten bei Festen.

Sehr leckeres Essen und Eis! Sehr freundliche Bedienung! Wir kommen wieder :)

Ich muss echt sagen, dass ich nach dem Besuch des Restaurants ausnahmsweise mal wunschlos glücklich war! Das Essen ist erstklassig, beim Service kann man nicht mehr verlangen und die Einrichtung ist echt top! Als Nachtisch gibts übrigens ein wundervolles Spektrum an Eisspezialitäten mit qualitativ hochwertigem Eis. Ich kann nur eine Empfehlung aussprechen!!!

Heute war ich mit meiner Partnerin zum Mittagessen. Pasta war leider weit von al dente entfernt. Chili wurde durch Spitzpaprika und Basilikum durch Salat ersetzt. Olivenöl nicht auffindbar. Parmesan gab es, auf Nachfrage, dieser klumpig, alt und aus der Tüte. Momentan leider nicht zu empfehlen. Tut mir leid, aber Pasta für über 10 Euro geht besser. Pasta in der Pfanne mit Knoblauch, guten Olivenöl und Peperoni geschwenkt ist lecker und preiswert.
