Restaurant & Café Roesicke in Bad Lobenstein

A café that's become a rarity, practically impossible to find anywhere these days. Time stands still here, no stress, lovely staff, a family-run business, a very romantic atmosphere. Everything served here is truly homemade; you can smell, taste, and see it for yourself if you take the time to savor it. We visited with our Italian friends (Antonio) 😄 and were thoroughly pampered. Thank you to the whole family for this wonderful, unforgettable afternoon.

Absolutely. It's a place to eat well. The homemade cakes are a dream. The best of the best is the solyanka. It tasted so good that I bought some frozen. This cafe is worth a visit.

As a tourist, you stumble across the café by chance, otherwise there is unfortunately little to nothing going on in the city, even on a Saturday morning. The cake makes up for it. When the weather is nice, it's worth taking a panoramic view of the castle tower and taking a tour of the cave

Very tasty homemade cakes and tarts. The basil gin and tonic tastes great. The service is very friendly and you feel at home.

I recommend everyone take a short detour from the highway to this great cafe. Parking is limited, but there is a private parking lot a few meters away from the cafe. The guest rooms can be reached on the first floor via a wide staircase. It is so lovingly decorated, there is a large selection of cakes and tarts. There are also hearty dishes - we had Soljanka - very tasty. The ladies are all very nice and helpful. My Dutch coffee was very tasty, as was the beer from a small brewery in Landsberg. At the entrance there is a small selection of different beautiful things to browse and of course buy. There are scent samples for the tea at the counter - you are welcome to stick your nose in them. Highly recommended!

We have rarely been welcomed so warmly. The food is freshly prepared. We really enjoyed it. The best thing, however, was the entrance area. Homemade decorative items. Of course we couldn't stand there again. Big praise to the boss for everything. Keep it up. If you want to eat really tasty food in Bad Lobenstein, you should definitely stop by here.

Very tasty lunch. The staff was very friendly and spoke a little English so ordering lunch was fairly easy.

Very good German cuisine! Everything was fresh and homemade by the family. The family is very friendly, took into account all of our wishes for a funeral service and made it very comfortable and beautiful.

We went to the cafe for coffee today. The coffee and cake was delicious. But we think €4.50 for a piece of cake is unjustified. The small cup of coffee was listed as €2.80 on the card but we paid €3.20. We feel a bit ripped off and that's why we wouldn't come back.

Geheimtipp in Bad Lobenstein - wunderschönes Restaurant/ Café mit ganz tollen Gastgebern. Das Essen schmeckt vorzüglich und wird sehr liebevoll angerichtet. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an rundum wohl und willkommen. Im kleinen Shop findet jede Frau ein passendes Geschenk für die nächste Einladung oder für sich selbst 😉.

Ein wunderschönes kleines, familengeführtes Restaurant und Café. Hier kann man das sehr leckere Essen, fantastischen Kuchen und Torten sowie außergewöhnlichen Kaffeevarianten genießen. Rundum ein gelungener Ausflug hierher.

Sehr familiäres Restaurant, man fühlt sich wie von Freunden eingeladen, wird herzlich aufgenommen und bewirtet. Das Essen ist absolut fantastisch und jeden Cent wert, kann es nur empfehlen, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut passend, eher zu günstig für eine solche Qualität.

Ich habe das Restaurant &Café heute mit ehemaligen Freunden von der Reha besucht. Im Vorfeld hatte ich telefonisch einen Tisch reserviert und wir wurden von den Inhabern ausgesprochen freundlich empfangen. Das Mittagessen war einfach spektakulär, super lecker und mit Liebe und Herzblut zubereitet. Ich habe lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Der Preis ist absolut gerechtfertigt. Großes Lob an die nette Betreuung. Leider waren wir vom Mittagessen so satt dass die leckeren Torten Spezialitäten nicht mehr rein gepasst haben. Das dann auf jeden Fall beim nächsten Mal. Zu erwähnen sind die hübschen Dinge die man dort noch kaufen kann. Also ❤️ lichen Dank an das gesamte Team.

Ein niedliches kleines Lokal mit ausgezeichneten Speisen und Kuchen. Die Portionen sind groß genug und es war absolut köstlich. Zudem ist das Personal ausnahmslos nett, zuvorkommend und (Kinder-) freundlich. Auch der kleine Laden mit zum Teil regionalen Produkten lädt zum stöbern und finden ein. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp in Bad Lobenstein 👍👍👍

Super netter Empfang. Es ist ein Familienbetrieb mit ❤ und es wird alles frisch gekocht🙂. Das war so lecker, da reichen 5 Sterne nicht. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wenn man da essen möchte sollte man aber vorher anrufen und einen Tisch bestellen. Preis Leistung absolut gerechtfertigt😉. Würde immer wieder gern da essen gehen. Nur zu empfehlen.
