The food was delicious. The service was first-class. There was a children's menu and toys for the kids. Special requests were also fulfilled. Thank you very much.

We also had dinner here three weeks ago with the family, and we think this is a fantastic place. Super friendly service, have a chat, easily make some adjustments to the dishes and the food is really delicious 😋😋

There were four of us in the restaurant with two dogs, a small mixed breed and a large Bernese Mountain Dog. We really liked everything, from the very friendly service, who immediately brought water for the dogs, to the nice atmosphere of the family-run restaurant, to the really good food. If we are ever in the area again, we would be happy to come back. Unfortunately, the extremely good rump steaks are not listed below, they were also medium well done.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner tonight. Large plates of food, great price and it was all perfect! The waitress was unexpectedly walking alone, so the service took a little longer, but the friendly, service-oriented attitude made up for everything. Cheerful, pleasant woman, up for a joke and did not make any fuss about adjustments to the main courses. Salads (accompanied by the main course) were served on a separate plate as a kind of appetizer and then the main courses were reserved. Dessert was also delicious, but just too much for our teenagers. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant, tables not too close together. We had a wonderful evening. If we ever go on holiday to Medebach again, I will definitely eat here again.

The food and service were superb. Parking in front of the door. It is highly recommended to eat here.

Very nice and courteous service, no time pressure and a harmonious atmosphere. We were there with the whole family and it was a lovely evening. The pumpkin soup was very good, although it could have been a little stronger. Now the big thing, the ox cheeks... the root vegetables were way too peppery and there was mushroom cream sauce with it (it wasn't declared regarding lactose and mushrooms, wouldn't have been so good for allergy sufferers). The caramel sundae was again very tasty...although there was also cappuccino ice cream, which wasn't on the menu. Overall, it was a very nice restaurant that you would be happy to visit :)

It was particularly nice to get to know the boss of the house and the good soul of the café personally, which gave the whole thing a family touch. Our children enjoyed the potato pancakes, my wife enjoyed the Jägerschnitzel, and I had the Barbarie duck breast. The quality of the food was consistently excellent and the value for money is absolute balanced. One small point of criticism: the duck breast could have been a little more pink for my taste, but that's really just a minor point. Overall it was a great dining experience in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

We were here for dinner yesterday and had beef broth, braised ox cheeks with root vegetables and roasted potatoes and finally plum compote with homemade cinnamon parfait. The food is outstanding, Only the portability was a bit small, but only for the three 125kg men. However, the service was even better. The greeting from the kitchen and the personal dialogue with the boss rounded off our evening. For myself, I can say that I will definitely go there again.

If you are in the area then this is definitely recommended!!! We had not made a reservation and came for dinner with a group of 12 at 7:00 PM. The waitress very kindly immediately set up a large table for us. The drinks were neatly taken and served throughout the evening. All three soups as a starter were tasty and flavorful. The many different main courses were all delicious, the game special of the day was phenomenally tasty! The mushrooms with the dishes were the best ever, well seasoned and nicely fried. Only empty plates went back to the kitchen. The desserts at the end were a great end to an evening of delicious and enjoyable dining. The cook came to have a chat. 10+ for the service, hospitality and cuisine!

We were in Medebach for a weekend vacation and spontaneously had dinner in this restaurant on Friday. It was super tasty. I had the duck and my husband ordered the Jägerschnitzel. The whiskey cranberry sauce was a dream, really, really good. Everything was really tasty. The service was very friendly and helpful when we asked for information. A restaurant with a long history in the Pöllmann family with a nice small yet good menu. The roast duck breast was full of flavour, with a delicious sauce. Even the chicken nuggets for the children were of good quality. You will go home well filled. But above all, compliments to the hostess. She is so enthusiastic and cordial and helpful in everything!
