We found the food really excellent and with an attractive price-performance ratio.

For us it was a rather mixed stay in the rabbit hutch. The ambience and the view are really great and give a real hut feeling. The food is rather average, the pork fillet was unfortunately very well done and the salad seemed bland and out of a bag. Now unfortunately to the negative point, the service. We reserved a table for 12 people for our birthday. Unfortunately, we were assigned three small, separate tables that we were allowed to push together amidst critical comments from the staff. At the end (after we gave a tip) we were asked who would give it back. Otherwise the service was quick but not friendly. Definitely recommended for drinking beer outside in the sun, but not for eating out.

Very tasty food at fair prices. The ambience, especially the view of the mountains, is beautiful. We had schnitzel, soup and filet, everything was very good and more than worth the price.

What a travesty this restaurant is. Went earlier at 5:45 PM but the kitchen was already closed (this is normal at 6:00 PM). We were told to come a little earlier next time Went again 2 days later but at 4.45 pm. Unfortunately, I climbed this mountain again for nothing. It was quiet so we closed early. We certainly won't be going here for a bite to eat anymore.

We are here again and are very satisfied. The location and furnishings are great and very comfortable. The outdoor area also invites you to relax in the sun, with a view of nature and the playground. The waitresses are consistently friendly and helpful. The food is really high quality and prepared with love. Everything is made fresh and you can taste it. Exceptional offers. Something for everyone. Lovingly decorated. Everything is very clean. We felt very comfortable. We can absolutely recommend the rabbit hutch!!!

Great atmosphere, from waffles to farmer's breakfast, potatoes and schnitzel, everything was delicious. There is also something for the kids. The restaurant pays attention to little things like giving the children gold bears as dessert. the kids are happy and so are the adults

We wanted to go out to eat there today with our children, who were cold after a long wine-pressing session. Unfortunately, the location seems to be closed today for some unknown reason... We couldn't find any information either on site or on the website. very unfortunate. We have very fond memories of the food there.

The hasenstall has become one of my favorite restaurants! Firstly, the view is amazing and the ambience in and around the restaurant is terrific. Despite the great location and tourism through Center Parc, the prices are very reasonable and most importantly, the portions are definitely filling! Price performance ratio top. Employees always friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back

Super unfriendly! When you come in, there is a reserved ticket on all tables, which are empty. No cat. When we sit down somewhere, they angrily chase us away and want to find a place for 2 in the other part. They finally tell us to sit back where we were and leave half an hour later. They only come 5 minutes later to ask what we want, while the 4 of them are constantly behind the bar chatting, drinking, snacking, and talking on their mobile phones. Then another person passes by who doesn't say anything, but asks what we want in a 'what the heck' manner. Said that the order has been placed. She also sees that they are just lazing around behind the bar and joins them for a nice chat. Finally, after 1 o'clock no one came to our table, but we didn't feel like standing and watching their chatter behind the bar any longer. When leaving, I saw that half of the tables in the other section were empty without a ticket reserved. So bad. By the way, there is a 'bitte warten' plaque at the entrance to that other part, but no one is there and no one came when we were there. Ah no, because they were all chatting and drinking behind the bar. Never again! So unfriendly! I don't recommend it to anyone.

The ambience is very, very nice but the food is unfortunately not recommended, unfortunately the fried potatoes were warmed up and the fat literally flowed out of the schnitzel 😞 the salad was very sandy and that's actually a disgrace for this price.

Carelessly prepared, completely overpriced ice cream. The portion of Kaiserschmarrn was also for the hollow tooth. Toilets without soap or paper and completely overcrowded, as there are none else in Spielberg. Staff in a bad mood. We can't recommend it more.

Nice location but unfriendly service – disappointing experience The restaurant is right next to a busy adventure playground, which ensures a constant flow of customers - and that's exactly how the staff behave. Despite several attempts to wave, we had to wait 15 minutes (not a problem at all when the weather is great) for the waitress to arrive, only to be greeted with a condescending comment: "Yes, I see you've been sitting for 15 seconds." When I raised the issue of poor service, the boss himself responded unprofessionally by saying, "If you don't like it, go somewhere else." Despite the beautiful location, I cannot recommend this restaurant due to the unfriendly and disrespectful treatment.

Wie der Chef, so die Bedingung. Nach einer 15-minütigen Wartezeit ( was beim wundervollen Wetter, völlig ok is) kam die Bedienung mit einer herablassenden Bemerkung: "Ja, ich sehe, dass Sie seit 15 Sekunden sitzen." Doch das war leider nicht das Schlimmste. Als ich mich höflich über den Service beschwerte, reagierte der Chef selbst äußerst unprofessionell mit den Worten: "Wenn es Ihnen nicht gefällt, gehen Sie doch woanders hin." Diese respektlose Haltung zeigt, dass Gäste hier anscheinend nicht willkommen sind. Ich kann das Restaurant daher niemandem empfehlen – es gibt sicherlich bessere Alternativen in der Gegend

Great experience, just right, climb first and then enjoy good food.

The star is given for being reachable by telephone. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the ambience and food in this review because we didn't get that far. Since we currently have a relative with severe walking difficulties visiting and wanted to go to the Hasenstall/Aventura with her and her family, I asked by phone whether I could drive to the restaurant. At least the staff also drives up and the barrier at the bottom is quite easy to operate from a distance. I didn't even get to explain it in more detail. As soon as I asked my question, I received a rude and stern “NO!” listen. No explanation, no apology, nothing. This means that a large number of people (elderly people who are not good at walking, people with disabilities, sick people...) are excluded in advance. I'm pissed off! This is discrimination and should be urgently reconsidered by those responsible!

Short and sweet: -Beautifully located, wonderful view over the Medebach Bay -Service extremely overwhelmed. You are overlooked or ignored. It's a shame because we wanted to have a lot of drinks. - Drinks and food are expensive, the cuisine is of a good, middle-class standard. There are no culinary highlights. The drinks menu is well filled. -Due to the monopoly position, a company that can milk your guests because there is no alternative. There is a kiosk and a drinks vending machine, Sinalco Cola 0.5 from the PET bottle costs 4.20 euros. - Wet benches are not dried, no seat cushions or blankets. You can do it, you will do it, you don't have to do it.

Basically everything was very tasty and the service was also very friendly. The prices are quite expensive but the quality is also good. BUT fake bunny with fried egg, fried potatoes, sauce and side salad for 13.50€ is not in proportion to the children's burger for 11:50€ - here the child got a dry burger (just a thin simple patty, dry burger bun and simple fries (ketchup and you could add mayo yourself). That shouldn't cost more than €6.

Delicious food, friendly service and nice ambience with a great view

They charge 5 Euros for disgusting AUTOMATED MACHINE MADE COFFEE. For 5 Euros I'd expect a barista made coffee with a milk of my choice, double shot. This is literally a crime

Very very expensive in terms of price. 2 coffees for almost €10 and the cups were only half full. I recommend everyone to take drinks and food with them. Tip: A marble for the marble run costs €2 in the Centerpark and €3 on the track.

The "Hasenstall" is located next to a large adventure playground on Bromberg. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our food came so quickly that I joked that we must have received plates that someone had returned. However, we actually wondered whether plates that had already been prepared were being brought out because the food was cold before it was in front of us - and at prices that weren't exactly squeamish. A children's portion of pasta with tomato sauce cost 7.50 euros. My husband had a salad with chicken strips and I had a baked potato, also with chicken strips. I have never had a cold baked potato before in my life, I didn't even know this was possible as in my experience potatoes stay hot for hours! The chicken strips were also cold and cost an extra 5 euros each for about 6 strips! Overall, I would recommend families with smaller children to bring food to the playground instead of eating in the bunny hutch, as there are no family-friendly prices here. Get a maximum of one ice cream or cold drink from the kiosk on a hot day!

We went here for lunch after spending time at the playground. The food was very tasty. I had a baked potato, my husband had the fake rabbit and our daughter had a classic children's dish. There is nothing to complain about in terms of quality and preparation time. The taste is also good to very good. Only the pricing (relatively expensive) and the temperature in the dining room (pretty cold) are minimal points of criticism. You're welcome to keep it up!

The food was quite good, but the prices were a little excessive. The view is quite good if you get a table in the front row. However, you have to park in a paid parking lot if you come by car.

wir waren mit unseren beiden Kindern und Oma & Opa dort. Nachdem wir an einen Tisch gesetzt wurden, fragte uns eine unfreundliche Bedienung, ob wir reserviert hätten. Nachdem wir ihr sagten, dass wir hier hingesetzt wurden, antwortete sie, dass sie auch nur so gefragt habe. Nachdem sie wortlos unsere Bestellung aufgenommen hatte, bekamen wir nach etwa 5min die ersten Getränke, worunter eins war, welches wir nicht bestellt hatten. Nachdem man dies dann abgeklärt hatte, war man so gnädig, dieses ausnahmsweise von unserer Rechnung zu nehmen. Das Essen war durchschnittlich lecker, nichts besonderes. Außer die Fliege, die wir, leider zum Ende hin erst, in der Vanillesauce entdeckten. Als wir dies ansprachen, wurde sich dafür nicht entschuldigt. Lediglich ein Augenbraunhochziehen hatte die Bedienung dafür übrig. Als wir dann die Lokalität mit unserem Kinderwagen verlassen wollten, standen die Bedienungen, im Kassenbereich, so im Weg, dass ein Durchkommen kaum möglich war. „Leider“ fuhr ich dabei einer der Damen über den Fuß … es wäre genug Platz gewesen um mich eben gewähren zu lassen. An sich ein gemütliches Ambiente, aber Essen und Bedienung schlecht … daher nicht wieder.

After a 1.5 hour drive on the way to vacation in the Sauerland, we took a break here. Since it's the holiday season, it was very crowded here. Our son has trouble with wasps, which made visiting the beer garden difficult for us. We were kindly allocated a table inside. The view is beautiful 😍 We hadn't eaten anything. Drinks were okay, iced coffee a bit watery, iced chocolate great. Toilets were also clean. Staff very friendly. Prices ok.

Met onze kleinkinderen ( 2+7 ) kregen we om 18.30 te horen dat de niet meer konden eten volgens website tot 19.00 uur. Schandalig hoop dat alle NL daar niet meer gaan eten

Been here last year and visited again because of the good experiences. Again we were not disappointed! The food, staff and ambience were again top.

The service is top 👍. The prices for the food are high and I would have expected more.

Very nice atmosphere with a wide view, the restaurant is nice and the staff is very nice. We didn't have to wait long for the food. The prices are okay. Unfortunately, the toilet wasn't that clean, which may be due to the fact that they are open to the public (but then for 50ct) as the restaurant is located directly on Spielberg. But you could perhaps make sure that the toilets remain clean. All in all it was a good visit and we all got enough.

Went there today with 4 people and 2 children. In terms of food, the currywurst fries were very mushy, not like you normally would. The chicken nuggets were very oily and soggy... Well, you can't go wrong with bottled beer. There are 2 stars for the ambience Wouldn't recommend it!

We actually really enjoyed our stay, but the food was quite expensive for the quantity and quality. The fake rabbit was quite tasty, although not really good and only half a plate... So really only half a plate, the other half was empty! The ambience and the view are great and the service is also courteous and fast.

Only vegan option tomato soup?! Seriously? In this day and age, that's simply not possible anymore!

Tomato soup that tastes like tomato sauce. Children's hamburgers carelessly prepared. Bread meatballs ready. We don't even want to talk about the prices. Every chip shop does it better.

Insane playground. Unfortunately a little too little shade. Restaurant is ok. Food is good, prices just acceptable, staff rather mediocre.

Food and ambience were good. Only the staff was probably a bit overwhelmed on July 16, 2024. Actually, the outside terrace was only about 10% full, but somehow the staff was only able to take each table one by one and then go inside and get a glass jug with cutlery. Then it was the turn of the next table and the cutlery jug again. Maybe it was due to the smartphone used to take orders, which could only take one order at a time. Probably saved money on the software license model. Paper and pen is even cheaper and probably faster.

Our kindergarten took the children to Spielberg, where it is inevitable that they will need to relieve themselves at some point. Although staff were present in the restaurant (the restaurant was not yet open), the children were not allowed to use the toilets. Undignified!

We ate here several times during our vacation. Anyone who complains about the prices has never eaten in a mountain hut. The prices for what is on offer are completely acceptable. Especially since the hut and the terrace offer a fantastic view. There are some restrictions due to Corona, including for staff. We were still served in a friendly and reliable manner. Another tip. You should have a bit of fitness. It's always uphill to the rabbit hutch and you definitely shouldn't miss the climb to the highest point of the Aventura playground, great view. If we're in the area soon, we'll definitely come back.

Unfortunately, the blackcurrant spritzer was just mineral water with a dash of juice. The pretzel was without salt. The children's meals are too expensive for the small portions. For the high price you should expect more.

I can't understand the negative reviews regarding the prices. Perfectly ok for a large burger + good portion of fries €18.90 👌🏻 Beer costs €4.80 for 0.4l. Also completely fine. Many people may forget that you are not in the small pub in the middle of Bielefeld or something like that. Then just take sandwiches with you if you want to go to the playground. Service was great. I was always asked whether I would like another beer or whether everything was OK. Ice cream to go is also great for the kids. Normal Prices. I could easily spend a day here.

Prices are ok. For two, around €50 for food + 2 rounds of beer.

The fried potatoes were only warmed up, still only lukewarm but black in many places! The goulash soup was ok. Our comment about the fried potatoes was not addressed and there was not even an apology. What a shame! The restaurant's furnishings and visuals look really great and the Spielberg is of course great, but due to the monopoly position at the Spielberg, the quality unfortunately suffers! We don't need to talk about the prices, they are of course super high!

Currywurst + fries = €12.50! That's sporty! And the annoyance of the extremely busy and fast service staff is a bit sad to see, even though I know that customers can often be incredibly stressful and stupid and bold. A little more honest friendliness and a Snickers for the soul every now and then - or a currywurst for an hourly wage 🙈 - and everything is better! 🙂

Very unfriendly staff, typically according to the motto the next guest will come. The first waitress asked if we could put a bench at the table - no problem - less than 2 minutes later we were approached very unfriendly by another waitress to put the bench back immediately. For no reason - the route wasn't blocked or something similar. The customer definitely comes last here.

Unprofessionelles und unverschämtes Personal. Am Nebentisch wollten die Gäste ihr bestelltes Getränk nicht bezahlen, weil an unserem Tisch jemand geniest hatte als die Kellnerin mit den Getränken am Tisch vorbei lief. Nachdem sie uns unfreundlich belehrt hatte, wie man ‘korrekt‘ niest, teilte sie uns mit, dass sie uns das Getränk in Rechnung stellen müsse. Keine Kompromissbereitschaft, kein Feingefühl für Familien, absolut albtraumhaft. Diese Gäststätte hat ein sehr unsympathisches Konzept, was mit Pommes, Chicken Nuggets und weiterem minderwertigen Tiefkühl-Essen an einem gut besuchten Kinderspielplatz den größtmöglichen Profit machen will. Mein Tipp: Nehmt euch was zu Trinken mit für den Spielplatz (der ist sehr empfehlenswert), und geht danach in Medebach selbst etwas essen.

So basically we were satisfied. Yes, I realize that a children's burger + small portion of fries for around €10 is a bit much, but the children didn't complain. The fake bunny was very tasty and plentiful and the homemade iced tea was also delicious. They're the top dog here, so the pricing can be a little more creative, that's for sure. And you basically pay for the view ;o) But our service was very friendly!

Rarely have I eaten so badly for so much money... ... and it could only go wrong! After hours at Spielberg everyone was hungry and there had to be this excursion restaurant right next to it, so my reservations were brushed aside and we easily found a table for seven people. The menu and drinks arrived quickly and the order was taken quickly. Within a few minutes the food was on the table... My Wiener Schnitzel: Large white plate with a handful of cheap fries with a... well, what? Greasy, babby coated meat flatbread. A slice of lemon for decoration. No bunches of lettuce, nothing. That for €17.90. Such a convenience schnitzel with liquid breading shouldn't cost more than €2.50, plus 0.40 cents of fries, and the work involved is zero. Wow, great spread. The Kaiserschmarrn for €9.90 (you pay €2 more for three tablespoons of apple compote) also tasted to me like frozen, vanilla-heavy, cut into uniform pieces, something like that doesn't cost €2 gross in the retail store. I found the salads for almost €15 to be more visually appealing and the ladies also liked them. One found a piece of lettuce the size of a chicken egg in her salad, the kind that usually ends up in the trash. Under other conditions I would have returned my food, but my wife found it inappropriate because we had guests... When we asked whether we were satisfied, the service staff gave an honest answer, which she responded with "OK". Conclusion: Cost pressure and a lack of skilled workers mean that you can get frozen schnitzel for almost €20 (please inform me in the comment if I'm wrong), so no guest comes a second time. Unfortunately, this experience fits in with what I'm currently experiencing in the catering industry: absurdly high prices with poor quality. Unfortunately the PLV is not correct for me. Not a recommendation from me, but my Labrador liked it.

The children's meal consisted of a few fries with 5 frozen nuggets. The whole thing for almost 10 euros... The food for the adults was OK, but far too expensive for an average meal. What is absolutely not possible is that the waitresses and waiters spend the whole time in a corner near the kitchen entrance eating little things like fries, nuggets etc., even licking their fingers and then continuing to serve... Cell phones are also kept there This corner is constantly taken care of even though customers are waiting... Unhygienic... We cannot recommend the restaurant. In the city, around 1 km away, you can eat much better everywhere and for less money...

A danger for children and adults. Glasses smelling of beer. Incredibly unfriendly employees. Unfortunately, the wrong countries always go bankrupt and those remain. I can only advise pregnant people and those with children not to go here. The notification to the health department etc. will go out as quickly as possible.

The food was ready within minutes, which suggests that it was pre-cooked in bulk and then just distributed onto the plates. It wasn't particularly tasty but it wasn't bad either. Hunger drives it in. Unfortunately the staff was quite unfriendly. Prices are okay. The children's portions were so small that the children (8 years old) couldn't get enough.

During our stay at Center Parcs Hochsauerland we ate out 3 times and had a delicious meal twice, except in this restaurant. The kitchen closes at 6pm and that was exactly the time we reserved. It looked like old fries and potatoes had been reheated and the schnitzels had been fried in old fat (so bad twice). You can have a drink here and enjoy the view, but don't order anything to eat here

Delicious food in a nice atmosphere and a great location on Spielberg.

The food tastes better at any bad motorway service station. The usual fast food, little to no healthy alternatives. Only the fresh waffles were delicious. Tables are dirty. The staff ignores you for quite a long time and you have to signal your attention to order, despite having a reservation. Given that the restaurant is located right next to a huge playground, the staff has no feeling for children. The prices are awesome. The view is great and the toilets in the restaurant are clean, but that's about it for the positive aspects.

Food completely overpriced! Were there with two small children. Children's hamburger costs 11€ and cheeseburger 12, 50€ (only dry hamburger bun with industrial patty, nothing else on it..., no vegetables, no sauce! Exaggerated and absolutely nothing great. Waffle with ice cream and cherries for 10€ and a goulash soup, which never was made by myself, for around €7. Plus a small Alster, small Selter and two Hefeweizen. Paid a total of almost €60. But the wheat tasted good😅 The view is great! Oh, for a robber's plate, where the child eats from the parents' plate, you pay an additional euro... that's what it says on the menu! The service was mediocre, but fun at work is different! The table next door had to wait for the bill until the waitress returned from her well-deserved lunch break🫣 by the way it was already 4:30 p.m.😅😅😅! A cold wheat for around €6 is definitely worth it! The playground is great though!

I tried to place an order for 30 minutes without success. Apparently organized very inefficiently. There are a relatively large number of employees walking through the store, but they are not responsible for the order when asked. After almost all the other new tables around us were taken care of, we got tired of it and left.

We got a table that was far too narrow for 7 people. A lady from the service was quite annoyed and clattered the glasses on the table. Some of the fries were raw, the cheeseburger at almost €20 was quite expensive, very poor price/performance ratio. The waffle with cherries was really tasty.

The location of the restaurant is beautiful as well as the decor. Unfortunately the food (apple strudel) was disappointing. The staff seemed burned out and just managed to smile when they got something to eat themselves. When you look at the prices on the website, they do not correspond to the current menu, everything plus 19a20 percent. A simple cup of coffee costs €4.50. Unfortunately, in my opinion, I do not recommend this establishment.

Nice restaurant with a great view. We fortified ourselves there before heading to Aventura Spielberg. The cappuccino and the schnitzel were great and really tasty. But we found it a bit overpriced. You just pay for the view. Otherwise everything was very nice. Toilets clean. Service tried hard.👍

Alles sehr gemütlich gemacht, kommen seit 2019 immer wieder mal hin, wenn wir Urlaub in der Hasenkammer machen. Allerdings wird es uns langsam zu teurer. Mit 2 Kindern (2/11) und 2 Erw. dort nach 1 Std mit 96€ raus zu gehen ist schon happig, man wird satt, aber es sind keine übertriebenen Portionen und alle hatten nur 1 Getränk ausser mein Mann der hatte 2.

Mittag und Kaffee "getestet": Überragend! Das Essen hat eine sehr hohe Qualität, Service einwandfrei, Hütte sehr schön.

Gute, kräftig gewürzte Hausmannskost, relativ fettig. Der Aventura Spielplatz nebenan ist super

Die Vergabe von Tischen erscheint sehr willkürlich nach Nasenfaktor! Das ist nicht in Ordnung! Mit südländischem Aussehen kann man sich durchaus diskriminiert fühlen!! Kaiserschmarren wurde garnicht erst serviert. Unmöglich!!! Das macht keinen Spaß 🙁
