Always nice, this view.. on a good day you can see very far, for us motorcyclists there are great curves in the area.. Always worth a trip

There’s more than just currywurst and fries for the bikers here. We ordered roast wild boar with lots of top-quality side dishes at reasonable prices and were able to enjoy the incomparable view while we ate. We'd love to come back!

A must for motorcyclists in the Weserbergland

Since the Köterberg has been a well-known motorcycle meeting place for many years, we also paid a visit to it on a motorcycle tour through the Weserbergland. Since the weather was nice and we came here on a Saturday, the parking lot was full. While the selection of drinks at the kiosk and the prices were okay in our opinion, the condition of the toilets was disappointing: there was a lot of paper on the floor and the toilets themselves were not clean. We wouldn't come by again for a short stop and would take a break at another place.

A must for every biker in the area. Went up today on May 11, 2024 with 8 bikes. Great view and a little place for a snack. The bratwurst was delicious and another hot chocolate ☕️ for the soul 😎👍

The snack is not good and outrageously expensive. The small 0.33 cola cans warm cost 3 euros. Not to mention the food

When the weather is nice, there is a lot of activity on the weekends 🏍🏍🏍 * Beautiful 'circular trails' on the Köterberg / Strohberg for hikers! Good connection to long-distance hiking trails; my tip: start a hike from Höxter or e.g. Bödexen, Albaxen, Stahle from - 'bus connection'. “Things are quieter there during the week”!

The Köterberg, 500 meters high, is a must for motorcycle riders. The restaurant offers a menu where everyone can find something.

I've known the restaurant for over 50 years and nothing has changed in terms of furnishings, but that's somehow the nice thing about it. The view is always awesome👍

We ended up here today by chance during a lab cache tour through North Rhine-Westphalia/Lower Saxony. At coffee time we were hungry and we decided to stop off. The furnishings are a bit old, but that doesn't bother us at all. We rather like it and it has its own charm. Due to the weather there wasn't much going on and we had free choice of seating. We can't understand the recent bad reviews. We ordered waffles with hot cherries and currywurst with fries, both of which were great and we would order them again and again. I would classify myself as a currywurst - the sauce harmonized wonderfully with the bratwurst and the curry powder, and there was nothing else to complain about. Nice normal service. We definitely want to come back again when the weather is better.

Went to Restaurant Köterberg for the first time today. And what can I say, it was a complete disaster. Today the restaurant was very busy and the service was completely overwhelmed. Orders were forgotten, someone was called into the room, for example. Wanted a fries or a piece of cake. No table numbers. In addition, the red cabbage on offer was missing from one of our dishes and was no longer served even after we remembered. Unfortunately, the food also tasted like frozen and straight out of a bag. It's a shame

Catastrophe. The service is extremely overwhelmed and extremely unfriendly. I can't recommend it. The cake also looks like it has been thawed. I would eat somewhere else!

We were there on Friday June 16th. with 7 motorcycles on the Köterberg and wanted to eat something quickly so that it didn't get too complicated, we all took a currywurst with fries and what can I say, we all agreed here we have a hot candidate for the title of "worst currywurst French fries" found in Germany. As I said, a “hot” candidate, in contrast to the currywurst and the fries, which were all cold. When it came to drinks, the picture was a little different, bad lukewarm filter coffee versus well-chilled cola from a can that couldn't be spoiled. Enjoy the great view, it can't be spoiled by the underground restaurants, but do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.

Beautiful at sunset Dinner beforehand and then watch the sunset with a drink. The menu leaves nothing to be desired with good food Price-performance ratio. Unfortunately I'm there far too rarely

I drank a cappuccino and ate a piece of apple pie. The cappuccino was a complete disaster, the worst I've ever drunk. The cake was ready. O. Conclusion: Price-performance ratio is not possible at all.

Kaffee und Pommes in Ordnung - das Nackensteak würde ich nicht wieder bestellen. Es ist halt ein Imbiss und kein Restaurant.

Drei Sterne, weil es eigentlich eher ein Kiosk ist, wo man sich Essen (Pommes, Bratwurst ...) bestellen kann und gerufen wird, wenn es fertig ist. Kaffee in Pappbechern ist jetzt auch nicht meins. Aber für einen Happen nach einer Wanderung, völlig ausreichend. Die Gegend um den Köterberg ist sehr schön für kleine Wanderungen, das war auch der eigentliche Grund für uns, dorthin zu fahren.

Ein Highlight. Gaststätte/Restaurant sauber und ordentlich. Man muss es besucht haben

Die Aussicht ist genial, viel Auswahl an Essen gibt es nicht. Aber es ist ok, man kann eine Kleinigkeit zu sich nehmen.

Sehr schöne Aussicht! Der Kiosk hat so einiges, aber von der Currywurst (bzw. „Brat mit Curry“) und den Pommes waren wir sehr enttäuscht.

Essen und Getränke sind gut. Im Winter geschlossen. Toiletten sind okay.

Kaffe und Kuchen waren echt Ok und sehr lecker!Aber danach fing es an.: Die Bedingungen einfach überfordert!(Suchten Leute die Pommes bestelt haben) Danach hatte meine Frau noch n bisl Hunger und bestellte ne "Curry Wurst mit Pommes!!!(ein kleinen Salat dazu) Was dauert an einer Currywurst/Pommes fast 45 min.(Minuten)??? Die Soße zu der Wurst war schon fast vertrocknet! 22.1.23.... Haben über 30€ bezahlt für 2 Kuchen/1 Kaffee/ein Salat und eine Currywurst mit Pommes(wie oben schon erwähnt) Ist ei schönes Ausflugsziel mit Mopped im Sommer aber jetzt...hmmm...

Besonders Motorradfahrer und Wanderer schätzen die familiäre Atmosphäre und tolle Verpflegung Und als ich versehentlich meine Brieftasche mit sämtlichen Papieren auf einer Bank des Parkplatzes vergessen hatte, wurde sie nicht nur vollständig abgegeben, sondern ich konnte sie beim freundlichen Inhaber auch noch am späten Abend abholen. DAFÜR HERZLICHEN DANK!

Wunderbare Aussicht! Das Restaurant hat den Charme der 70iger. Zum Parkplatz hin gibt es am Kiosk eine gute Grundversorgung. Die Toiletten sind sauber und ebenerdig zu erreichen. Am Wochenende ist hier das Bikerparadies schlechthin.

Schönes, rustikales Berggasthaus mit atemberaubender Aussicht. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und hat uns sogar noch einen Euro geschenkt. Auch unser Dackel war herzlich Willkommen. 🐶 Leider haben wir den Hausdackel Alma nicht kennengelernt, aber dafür hatten wir ein leckeres Essen. 👍 Besuch lohnt sich in diesem gemütlichen Ambiente.

Super zufrieden. Ob mit mottorad oder dem Auto. Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden außer es ist rappel voll dann müsste man schauen aber sollte kein problem. Warm kalt speisen u. Getränke sowie ein Spaziergang ist hier möglich. Komme definitiv wieder 👍

Currywurst-Pommes ist das Geld nicht wert. Geschmacklose Sauce, kein Currypulver, Mayonnaise zum Selbstbedienen leer. Zudem lange Wartezeit. Toiletten sauber.

Ob in unseren Urlauben mit dem Auto, oder auch beim Ausflug mit dem Motorrad sind wir hier gerne eingekehrt. Schöne Aussicht. Leckeres Essen. Freundliches Personal.

Wir waren mal wieder mit den Morrädern auf dem Köterberg bei schönem Wetter und haben dort Erbsensuppe mit Wienerwürstchen genossen. War wie immer gut. Vier Sterne aus dem Grund weil das Restaurant nicht besetzt war.Essen g Essen gab

Der köterberg ist immer eine Fahrt wert die Aussicht für motorradfahrer sowieso Biker Gespräche immer so um die 100 beiger da auch autofahrer mit ihren Familien zu empfehlen

Wir waren auf unserer Wandertour hier oben und haben eine große Pause gemacht. Die Familie Brand ist sehr freundlich. Es gibt was zu essen und trinken. Außerdem ist die Aussicht auch sehr schön.
