A small side salad with the dishes wouldn't be bad. But it's nice to sit there.

Disrespectful behavior just because I don't eat meat. Buffet was unsuitable for me. Owner spoke to me like I was 5 years old. Broccoli and rice is supposed to be a vegetarian dish. Something like that is a supplement. We left. Had been there before and the quality of the menu was extremely good.

Respektloses Verhalten, nur weil ich kein Fleisch esse. Buffet war für mich ungeeignet. Inhaber sprach mit mir, als wäre ich 5 Jahre alte. Brokkoli und Reis soll ein vegetarisches Gericht sein. Sowas ist eine Beilge. Wir sind gegangen. Hatte dort früher geseist und die Qualität war extrem gut von der Karte.

Restaurant Cafe Bar Sidney is a great find in Berlin! The food was really tasty, and the portions were very generous – you definitely get your money's worth. Plus, the service was so friendly and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend it!

We had something to celebrate today and I wanted a fillet steak! We thought about it for a long time and then went to Sidney and it was a good decision! A 200 gr. Filet, which is a good 300 gr. were, great side dishes, fine sauce. The mix grill plate was also perfect. Even the salad dressing was tasty here. The service was super friendly and the owner was really charming. We will come back, even though there is an incredible amount of choice in our area. Also recommended is the Sunday brunch! Simply perfect and super delicious!!! I would also like to add that it was also ordered and delivered - simply perfect!

HAHAHAHAHA that's probably a bad joke. You put the schnitzel on top of the fries in an aluminum packaging 😂😂 who are you kidding? You're saving at the wrong end, but your schnitzel doesn't taste all that bad. But you also have to work on the apple strudel recipe. It's a 6.5/10 -.- oh well. Good luck with your business 🤓

We happened to be there as guests of Berlin! Almost stumbled upon it while walking past! Very friendly and courteous staff! Food was good and reasonably priced, my wife's cocktails were very tasty! Recommended...

We went to this restaurant to have a leisurely breakfast, but unfortunately our visit was anything but pleasant. We had to wait over an hour for five simple breakfast plates. After asking politely and pointing out that we would leave if the food wasn't served within five minutes, we were spoken to in a rude manner by the waitress. She said in an inappropriate tone, “Don’t threaten me.” There was no apology and we felt neither welcome nor respected. The overall service was disappointing and the lack of customer focus completely ruined the visit. It's a shame, because the ambience of the restaurant is actually appealing. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend it if you value good service.

Wir waren in diesem Restaurant, um gemütlich zu frühstücken, doch leider war unser Besuch alles andere als angenehm. Wir mussten über eine Stunde auf fünf einfache Frühstücksteller warten. Nachdem wir höflich nachgefragt und darauf hingewiesen haben, dass wir gehen würden, wenn das Essen nicht innerhalb von fünf Minuten serviert wird, wurden wir von der Kellnerin auf unhöfliche Weise angesprochen. Sie sagte in einem unangemessenen Tonfall: “Bedrohen Sie mich nicht.” Eine Entschuldigung blieb aus, und wir fühlten uns weder willkommen noch respektiert. Der Service war insgesamt enttäuschend, und die fehlende Kundenorientierung hat den Besuch komplett ruiniert. Schade, denn das Ambiente des Restaurants ist eigentlich ansprechend. Leider können wir es nicht empfehlen, wenn man Wert auf guten Service legt.

The smell of rotten eggs hits you as soon as you enter. Cables are coming out of the walls everywhere, the beer is warm, the tables are sticky. In our presence, the owner insulted a guest as a “cunt”. I will report this store to the health department. Disgusting.

I've never eaten such good fish. Particularly noteworthy are the boss and the entire team: incredibly polite, charming and attentive. You feel welcome here from the first second. I stayed in the hotel opposite and ate here two evenings in a row. Good, delicious food. Huge portions, very friendly and courteous service. No problem with my special requests. Absolutely recommended.

We didn't like the schnitzels we ordered, they were tasteless except for the fryer fat. We have rarely eaten so badly.

Delicious Sunday brunch, nice and friendly service

The burger (Great Britain) was great. What bothered me: You can order fries (conventional or sweet potato) or wedges as a side dish. Charged extra and the portion of this side dish was so outrageous and overly large that you regret the order the moment it was served. More than half have been returned. What a waste. The tables in the outdoor area are placed next to each other with little space between them along the building facade. Ashtrays were placed on all tables, meaning smokers and non-smokers inevitably sit close to each other. I found the cigarette smoke from a gentleman at one of the neighboring tables extremely disturbing.

Wir waren dort Brunchen. Wir dachten uns für 14,90€ all u can eat, da kann man am Endspiel Wochenende nichts falsch machen! Leider kurz nach dem verlassen des Cafés, wurde uns schlecht. Einer von hat sich noch auf der Straße übergeben. Den ganzen Tag ging es uns kotz übel und mussten nur aufs Klo. Inexpensive business lunch, various dishes are available. You can sit outside at tables - but at the end of March it was still a bit too cold for me (even though the sun was shining). Inside there is the opportunity to watch sports broadcasts on a large screen using a projector. Friendly service, overall recommended.

Perfect, the menu offers something for every taste. Still, we had burgers and they were massive and delicious.

We wanted to try the brunch in nostalgic remembrance of the former Café Sidney on Winterfeldplatz. Both I and two other guests independently ordered the fitness breakfast (€15). We got carrot sticks, pepper sticks and cucumber sticks with a little bread and sour cream, carelessly prepared. Regardless of each other, the other guests and I were shocked. The discrepancy between expectations after reading the menu and eating has never been so great in my 36 years. I then read the text in the order card: and everything that was written on it was delivered. But the other guests couldn't believe their eyes either. In the end we paid just under €90 for 5 people - the only question is what for. We will never come back for brunch (but probably anything else). For the money you can eat really well even in more expensive restaurants. We were disappointed. Update: we went there on 2nd of March (Saturday) and took Fitness Breakfast. And sorry to say, but my impression was that two other guests had the same feeling: 15€ for a few sticks of carrots, cucumber and pepper with sour cream and slices of bread was by far the worsed misfit of price and what you get for it that I have ever experienced in a restaurant. Not to damage your business, but in order to warn others...

It was a very nice evening in the restaurant. The prices are very cheap. I'm new in Berlin and the nice realtor recommended this shop to me. I was pleasantly surprised at the prices. I wouldn't have thought of such an offer in this situation. The boss is there personally and is available to provide service himself. Hats off !!! I'm looking forward to being able to enjoy the European Championships in your restaurant. I'll definitely be back soon.

Mega gutes Essen. Einfache Zutaten mit passend eingesetzten Kräutern und Gewürzen - einfach so unglaublich gut. So lecker! Und Preis Leistung vollkommen in Ordnung. Gute Auswahl. Toller Services. Freundliches, aufmerksames Personal. Nur die Cocktails haben es in sich. Gern wieder! Sehr zu empfehlen.

The visit to the cafe left mixed impressions. We took Kaisershman, the caramel in it turned out to be hard and not suitable for consumption. Despite this, it is worth noting the attentiveness of the waitress. In general, the atmosphere in the establishment leaves much to be desired. In response to the owner’s comments, I can add. That after eating your dessert you may be left without teeth. And also remove a little unnecessary stuff, otherwise you’ll feel like you’re sitting in a warehouse🤦

I took food from this restaurant, when I delivered it, it turned out that all the food that was in a paper bag had spilled. I had to throw away the leftover food. The money spent on food was wasted. The restaurant could have wrapped the food more securely and protected it from spillage.

Price-performance ratio great...I've become a regular customer...tried everything: fish great, spaghetti arabiata great, haloumi burger great...only when football is being broadcast, it's very crowded; but still great atmosphere...service nice, toilets clean...keep it up.

100% WEITEREMPFEHLUNG!!!Dieses Ambiente und das Essen, ist schon fast strafbar, so gut war es. Wir waren eine kleine angemeldete Gruppe. Unsere Tische wurden sehr Stilvoll und Elegant eingedeckt. Super Aufmerksamer Service , toller Gastgeber und eine tolle Atmosphäre. Das Essen war ein Traum, habe wenn überhaupt nur ganz ganz selten so lecker gegessen. Die Portionen waren leider nicht schaffbar, aber sie Packen es auch ein. Ein ganz großes Danke geht an das gesamte Team und ich werde definitiv und zu 100% wieder kommen. Bis zum nächsten Mal

Ich hatte eine auf den Punkt zubereitete halbe Ente; die ein Gedicht war; und den leckersten Kaiserschmarrn, den je gegessen habe( Anmerkungen: meine Familie kommt aus Österreich!!!). Wir wussten was uns erwartet: ganz großes Kino! Garnelen satt- ein Traum. Der Salat war knackig und das Dressing separat! Jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt. Hübsche Location mit vielen kleinen Besonderheiten. Isi und Josef sind tolle sympathische Gastgeber Immer wieder gerne!

Service unter aller.... Wir waren zur Artnight dort. Es wurde direkt abkassiert, für mich kein Problem, aber dennoch kann man die Gäste begrüßen und für eine Apfelschorle keine 20min zum Servieren benötigen.

The food was delicious and the owner was very nice. The atmosphere is cozy and me and my dad found it the perfect place to get some rest after a long day of walking. Would recommend it to everyone looking for a cozy, fairly cheap restaurant or bar outside central Berlin.

Wir lieben es ins Café Sydney mit der ganzen Familie zu gehen! Fast jedes Wochenende sitzen wir gemeinsam und genießen dort die Zeit. Die Speisekarte ist sehr vielfältig - hier ist für jeden was dabei. Der Chef ist ein sehr herzlicher Gastgeber und es herrscht dort eine starke familiäre Atmosphäre. Der Service ist immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders für Sportbegeisterte ist Sydney die richtige Adresse, denn dort wird über diverse Fernseher jedes Sportevent übertragen.

Wir waren zu viert am 22.09.2023 zum ersten Mal hier und absolut positiv überrascht. Das Essen war total lecker, der Service unglaublich freundlich, selbst der Koch hat sich persönlich bei uns verabschiedet. Wir fühlten uns aufgenommen wie in einer Familie. Der Chef kam auch mehrfach vorbei und hat sich um unser Wohl gekümmert und sogar einen Drink aufs Haus ausgegeben, da wir ein „Geburtstagskind“ dabei hatten. Es war rundum ein toller Abend! Wir haben direkt wieder reserviert und freuen uns schon sehr darauf!! Zusammengefasst: Dieses Restaurant ist wirklich einen Besuch Wert!!! Ihr werdet es erleben!!

Beste Kombination aus Sportbar und Restaurant. Hatten hier einen wunderschönen Fußball-Dinner-Abend. Speisen sind sehr lecker, super Fußballübertragung auf vielen Bildschirmen und der Service ist hervorragend und lässt die Gäste hochleben. Tausend Dank aus Hessen.

Bedienung ist frech, man wird angepöbelt und angeschrien. Dass man hier mit der Karte zahlen kann ist eine Lüge, das Kartengerät ist defekt, die Bedienung kann mit dem Gerät nicht umgehen, und man wird als Kunde beleidigt und bedroht. Man muss dann zum Geldautomat laufen, Geld abheben, und dann zurück. Dabei wird einem noch gesagt, dass die Bezahlung mit der Karte möglich ist. Das ist das erste Restaurant, wo ich kein Trinkgeld gebe, weil die Bedienung es einfach nicht verdient hat. Die gute Dame soll vielleicht auf einem Friedhof arbeiten, wenn die die Menschen so dermaßen hasst. Man hätte es eigentlich schon bei der "netter" Begrüßung merken können, dass man vielleicht woanders frühstücken soll. Wenn man sich die Antworten von dem Inhaber so anschaut, freut man sich, dass man seine Quittung aufbewahrt hat, weil so aggressiv wie der Inhaber ist, weiß man nicht, was der Inhaber so machen kann... Man fühlte sich echt physikalisch bedroht im Restaurant. Die gesetzlich vorgeschriebe Quittung wird dem Kunden übrigens nicht eigenständig ausgehändigt, erst nach Nachfrage.

Essen und Ambiente nichts besonderes. Chef 60 Jahre alt macht sich an mehrere 18 jährige weibliche Gäste ran und drängt sich auf. Fremdscham pur.

Habe heute eine Artnight dort mitgemacht und dadurch das Café Sidney entdeckt. Es hat richtig viel zu bieten, vom Frühstückslokal verwandelt es sich über den Tag hinweg mit großer Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken (auch eine saisonaler Karte, aktuell Pfifferlinge) zur gemütlichen Bar am Abend bis spät in die Nacht. Sympathischer Inhaber, danke für den schönen Abend und den Special Cocktail ;-)

Top Zaak super gezellig ik raad het iedereen aan

Ich wollte eigentlich 0 Stern geben, doch das ist hier leider nicht möglich. Wir waren während der WM/22 in diesem schrecklichen Laden um ein Spiel zu gucken, doch es war leider unmöglich wegen der schlechten Qualität der Verbindung, so das das Bild nach jede 5 Sekunden hängen geblieben ist. Es war so schlimm, das wir vor Spielende gehen mussten. Keine Entschuldigung vom blinden Inhaber, der hier agressiv mit der Kritik umgeht. Es handelt sich also um keine Sportsbar, da sie nicht mal in der Lage sind einen Spiel gescheit zu übertragen. Empfehle ich keinen der sich für Sport interessiert. Essen war auch schlecht u. das Bier war warm.

Wir haben einen Tisch für eine Sportveranstaltung reserviert. Nur um informiert zu werden, dass sie unseren Tisch 5 Minuten vor der Veranstaltung an jemanden weitergegeben haben.

Lekker eten. Grote porties. Vriendelijke bediening. En dat alles voor een redelijke prijs. Kom daar nog maar eens om in Nederland.

Ein spontaner Besuch zum Mittag. Aus der Business Menükarte haben wir Spaghetti mit Lachsstreifen in Hummersauce gewählt, dazu hausgemachter lecker lockerer Schokoladenkuchen. Als Überraschung gab es fruchtige Wassermelone im Glas serviert. Und einen frisch gebrühten Çay gab es aufs Haus. Das Personal ist sehr sympathisch. Preis-Leistung ist sehr gut. Wir kommen wieder.

Eine Cola bestellt :warm - noch eine Cola bestellt: warm; ein Ananas-Saft bestellt: warm und abgelaufen. Das Essen war gemessen an den Getränke ein Hauch besser! Der Service war bemüht außer einer war recht ruppig!

Ein nettes zum Verweilen einladendes Lokal mit sehr freundlichem Service. *Zum Essen kann ich mich nicht äußern, da ich dort nur ein paar Softgetränke hatte
