Authentische chinesische Küche mit hervorragenden Aromen! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und bot mir sogar eine kostenlose Suppe an. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Als ich essen gehen wollte, wurde ich nicht bedient. Der Kellner kam nicht, als ich bestellen wollte, obwohl er für deutsche Verhältnisse sehr schnell bedient wurde. Ich bat den Kellner zweimal um Geschirr, aber er kümmerte sich nicht darum. Die Gerichte, die ich aß, waren allesamt Fertiggerichte, aber trotzdem nicht günstig. Die Bratwurst war ungenießbar, und auch das scharfe Hähnchen und Hammelfleisch schmeckten furchtbar. Es gab noch viele weitere solcher Gerichte.

Meine Erfahrung in diesem Restaurant war leider sehr schlecht. Der Service war unaufmerksam und wir hatten das Gefühl, dass sich das Personal kaum um die Gäste kümmert. Nach der Bestellung mussten wir sehr lange auf das Essen warten. Noch ärgerlicher war, dass das Essen schließlich serviert wurde, aber niemand uns Besteck gebracht hat – wir mussten selbst daran erinnern.Auch die Qualität des Essens war enttäuschend. Geschmack und Konsistenz wirkten stark nach vorgefertigtem Essen und nicht frisch zubereitet. Insgesamt eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung, ich werde wahrscheinlich nicht wiederkommen.

Während meiner Mittagspause (ich war zu einer Fortbildung in der Nähe) war ich gestern von 12:10 bis 12:50 Uhr bei Ihnen. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Allerdings musste ich fast eine halbe Stunde auf meine Bestellung – Tofu mit Gemüse und ein Mango-Lassi – warten. Das Getränk konnte ich zudem kaum trinken, da der Strohhalm zu klein für die großen Eisstücke war. Alle Gäste, die nach mir kamen, erhielten ihr Essen deutlich schneller. Erst als ich schließlich aufstand, um zu bezahlen und zu gehen, wurde mein Essen innerhalb von zwei Minuten serviert. Ich möchte nicht glauben, dass dies etwas mit meiner Person oder meiner Hautfarbe zu tun hatte, aber der Eindruck war leider schwer zu ignorieren. Das Essen selbst hat gut geschmeckt, doch aufgrund der langen Wartezeit konnte ich aus Zeitgründen nicht einmal die Hälfte davon essen. Mein persönliches Fazit: Leider werde ich nicht wiederkommen.

Schweinerippchen aus dem Trockentopf und Sauerkrautfisch duften so herrlich! 🤤

Die Portionen waren großzügig und der Geschmack hervorragend. Der Sauerkrautfisch zum Sonderpreis war sein Geld absolut wert.

Köstlich!! Die Portionen waren unglaublich großzügig und das Essen war superlecker 🥹🥹 Das beste chinesische Essen, das ich je in Deutschland gegessen habe. Ich hatte zwei Mittagsmenüs und einen Hot Pot mit geschmorten Schweinerippchen zum Sonderpreis.

Das chinesische Essen war absolut phänomenal. Wir bestellten Schweinerippchen-Eintopf, Sauerkraut-Fischfilet, in Bambusspieß gepökelten Schweinebauch und knusprige Brötchen. Jedes Gericht war herrlich duftend und perfekt gewürzt, ohne dabei schwer oder ölig zu sein. Die Schärfe war genau richtig – angenehm, aber nicht zu scharf. Die Gastfreundschaft war sehr herzlich, und ich fühlte mich rundum wohl und wie zu Hause.

Die gebratene Ente war fantastisch – mit Abstand die beste, die ich je in Europa gegessen habe. Die Haut war herrlich knusprig, das Fleisch zart und saftig. Die Rotweinauswahl (eher ungewöhnlich für ein chinesisches Restaurant) war eine angenehme Überraschung und passte hervorragend dazu.

Die Ente und die beiden Braten waren köstlich! Auch das geschmorte Hähnchen mit Schweinedärmen war sehr gut, würzig und aromatisch. Die nostalgische Musik sorgte für eine tolle Atmosphäre 😊

Köstlich. Typisch chinesisches Essen, sehr authentischer Geschmack, ausgezeichnet. Wir bestellten Gänsebraten, eine Kombination aus Fleisch und Gemüse sowie gekochtes Rindfleisch. Der Gänsebraten war fantastisch – die Haut war nicht zu fettig und das Fleisch saftig. Die Kombination war etwas fad; mit einer Dip-Sauce wäre sie besser gewesen. Das gekochte Rindfleisch hätte mit mehr Beilagen noch besser geschmeckt; die würzige Brühe war perfekt zum Garen des Gemüses. Der Reis duftete herrlich. Wir bekamen außerdem eine kostenlose Schüssel mit Schweinekutteln und Hühnersuppe, die perfekt gewürzt und köstlich war. Und bevor wir gingen, gönnten wir uns noch eine Süßspeise – eine Geschmacksrichtung, die wir noch nie zuvor probiert hatten, und auch sie war köstlich.

Extrem lecker. Wir haben uns zu zweit einen vegetarischen Hot Pot geholt und dazu noch gebackenes Hähnchen. Der Hot Pot für 1 Person hat auch locker für uns beide gereicht. Das Huhn Süßsauer war ein guter Zusatz mit dem reis. Insgesamt sehr schmackhaft und schön frisch. Den Mangolassi können wir auch unbedingt empfehlen, frisch und kalt, einfach klasse. Insgesamt haben wir mit den Dumplings noch als Vorspeise 55€ bezahlt, was ein guter Preis für die Qualität und die Portionen war. Hier muss niemand hungrig den laden verlassen. Die Einrichtung hat einen gewissen Charme, ein Mix aus fernöstlich und simpler Kantine.

Wir waren nur auf der Durchreise, ein ruhiger Ort mit sehr leckerem und frischem Essen. Die Piña Colada ist die beste Vorspeise.

The food is GREAT! The all-you-can-eat hotpot is sooooo delicious. The atmosphere is also nice. Unfortunately, I had to deduct a star for the service, as we had to wait quite a long time for the waitress… but she was very, very nice and explained to us very sweetly how to order the all-you-can-eat hotpot. We'll definitely visit this restaurant again, and I really recommend everyone to go there at least once.

The service is not up to par with the food!

We have tasted a couple of dishes here already and the are all delicious! :) the restaurant itself is authentic and we felt very relaxed eating there. The owner and stuff always friendly. We really recommend eating the noodle soup with beef, our favorite. A bit hidden but so worth to visit this restaurant!

We just ate at Chen's Wok and we were thrilled! Delicious food, excellent quality, and the spice levels are accurate: "mildly spicy" is really pleasantly mild, while "spicy" has a decent amount of heat – just right, not over the top. Added to that is the very friendly and attentive service. You immediately feel welcome. We'll definitely be back. If you're looking for good Asian food, this is the place to be!

I would describe Chen's Wok as a wallflower among Chinese restaurants in Berlin! The location is literally quite hidden (which is a shame!), but the dishes there are pretty close to what I've tried and come to love on my past trips to China! The restaurant particularly excels at its spicy dishes, as the spiciness you get there doesn't have an extremely sour taste (unlike other Chinese restaurants in Berlin, where I always get a very disgustingly sour taste and then an unpleasant burning sensation). Many of my Chinese colleagues also say that the dishes from the so-called "specialty menu" (the menu itself isn't that special in the true sense of the word, but rather caters to the Chinese palate) are, quote, "a little piece of home," and many of the Chinese people at my neighboring tables say (when I asked) that when they're a little homesick and want something from home, they like to come here! Unfortunately, I have to deduct a little in terms of service, as the place is somewhat understaffed. Don't get me wrong, the employees (actually family members, if I can believe the owner's son's statements) are very nice, especially the boss, a super-cute lady in her 50s or 60s, who is always polite and has a grandmotherly demeanor that makes me smile. The boss and their son are also very polite, but much more distant in attitude. Hence the 3 stars. The two deductions are more due to the fact that you have to wait a bit to be served, but personally (regardless of my rating), I understand the circumstances, as the restaurant industry, like other medium-sized industries in Germany, has suffered greatly due to the current crises! To accommodate the staff, I recommend making reservations for lunch or even pre-ordering the dishes you want so that they are ready in a timely manner for people like me! (I work in an office building just around the corner) Reservations are usually not necessary for after-work dinner! Atmosphere is, as always, a very subjective experience for me. I'm not a fan of simple styles and prefer a more rustic interior, but the place has a very nice terrace and is a must-visit for people who want to avoid the sun like vampires but still enjoy a beautiful sunny day! xD All around, I recommend Chen's Wok to anyone who wants to experience a culinary short trip to China!

Order here if you are hungry for yesterday´s food.

We ordered through Uber Eats and specifically requested cutlery. Of course, it was delivered without cutlery. Since we were staying in a sports hall, we could only eat with our hands. When we asked, they claimed we hadn't ordered any cutlery. Absolutely outrageous, with no cooperation or customer service. The food had no flavor, and the soup came without water, apparently not being soup even though it was listed as such. Our evening was slightly ruined.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for traditional Chinese (mainland-style) food. The service was extremely friendly and chatty, and the food arrived fairly quickly. I would definitely eat there again.

An absolutely clean restaurant, with extremely friendly and personable staff. The food is delicious, and the value for money is spotless. The restroom was also very clean; even the spice jar on the table was so clean that there wasn't a speck of dust on it! Highly recommended.

I write in English statt Deutsch because I am in the middle of a very happy food coma. There is clearly much care, pride, and attention to detail put lovingly into this establishment. Decor, ambiance, cleanliness, hospitality, and the beautifully presented FOOD tasted just as amazing as it looked, was just the cherry on top of a perfect experience. We ordered gong bao chicken, large mixed dim sum, a side order of rice, jasmine tea, and large bottle stilles wasser, and a glass of pflaumenwein to end the meal, all together just under 50€. Itwas more than enough food and drink for two hungry people. I felt a bit underdressed wearing athleisure after seeing the staff was so well-dressed, so I will definitely come back with fancier date-night attire and based on the size I will likely make a reservation for a larger group. I strongly recommend trying this place out.

The second time I came here, the grilled fish was still delicious. The fish skin is grilled extremely crispy, the fish meat is tender and delicious, and there are many side dishes, and the portion is super generous. Every time I eat grilled fish, I feel better. A wonderful, authentic Chinese restaurant. I've been coming here for years and the quality of the food is consistently high and you don't have to wait long. Fish in pickled vegetables is particularly a favorite in our family. You can also come here with large groups for birthdays, for example, as the restaurant is very large. An additional plus point is the lovely family that runs this shop. Everyone I've brought here so far has loved it.

For some unknown reason, the best Chinese restaurant in Berlin is hardly visited. We have been eating here for years and can compare very well with both Chinese cuisine in China and the much-hyped Chinese restaurants in Berlin. Go there! Here you can get delicious pork belly, dumplings like in Shanghai, the best fish with pickled vegetables in the city, wonderful homemade ones! Noodles, spicy chicken with Sichuan pepper and chili, lamb with cumin and so on... The nice family deserves to be recognized for their excellent and authentic cuisine.

I tried the leg of lamb dish and the fried fish - simply outstanding! The spices are perfectly balanced, and although the dishes have a pleasant spiciness, they are absolutely suitable for German tastes. From my experience of dining in this restaurant, the quality of the food in this restaurant is completely substandard. I personally seriously doubt how the chef in this restaurant learned to cook and whether he has received appropriate training. The specific charges are as follows, First, the chef in this restaurant does not know how to cook sweet and sour pork correctly, which is a basic skill for every Chinese chef apprentice. The sweet and sour pork tenderloin he cooked was so fried that there was not a drop of water in the tenderloin. The surface of the tenderloin was dark brown and tasted like firewood. At this level, I dare say that even if this chef applied for the frying pan position in other restaurants, no one would hire him. Second, after I changed the dishes, the chef finally served a plate of fish-flavored shredded pork that was still edible. This dish can only be said to be edible, but it is far from qualified. The tenderloin in the fish-flavored shredded pork is cut into different sizes, and the shredded bamboo shoots and radish are also of different lengths. This is a knife skills issue, and the chef likely has no specific knife skills training. Many of the bamboo shoots were too old to be chewed, which reflected that the purchasing staff of this restaurant were extremely unprofessional. Normal and cheap Chinese with very good noodle dumplings (dim sum)

I went there with my girlfriend on our first anniversary. I have went past this restaurant many times in my life yet I have discovered it for myself just a year ago. The day we went there we had a most pleasant dinner and a day wer would always remember. The food was very good and filling despite me only ordering a soup due to me having a stomach ache a few days prior. The ambience at any given time of day be it at noon or at evening has a charm of its own class. The interior is designed beautifully and the chairs are soft and comfortable, perfect for having longer conversations. The service is qualitative helpful and friendly. After me going there with my girlfriend I decided to give it some other visits on my own and try different food from the menu. Let me tell you I was not disappointed. I ordered the roasted pork belly that day as a form of a challenge since this meat cut is not particularly easy to cook. The dish was immaculate. I have rarely experienced such an mouthwatering food. It’s comfortable and packed with the flavours of the marinade. It comes with morels and pak Choi which perfectly balances the fatty cut of meat. A side of rice is included as well. That day I have found myself a dish that I overwhelmingly ordered until now. It sincerely has become my standard go to. I am thrilled to try out more from the menu since my first experiences have left such unforgettable memories. Thanks a lot.

A fortnight ago, cousin ordered a(!) table for around 20 people for her birthday party at 2 p.m. When the hostess arrived shortly before 2 p.m., NOTHING(!) was prepared. Two tables were quickly put together in parallel, although one(!) table for around 20 people had been agreed upon. The food was okay, but to describe the service as sloppy would be flattering. At around 5 p.m. we were told that the shop would be closing at 6 p.m. (google maps shows on the same day that it is open until 11 p.m.!) because we are going on vacation tomorrow (7/23/24). Meanwhile, three large bottles of mineral water ordered by the hostess but not yet opened are taken from the table by the boss. However, these appear on the invoice, but according to the boss, they could not be booked back for flimsy reasons. After massive protests, it all went... Conclusion: A big birthday was ruined, even though everything had been explained 14 days before.

Very nice restaurant, with a nice ambience, you felt absolutely welcome, I will definitely come back to try more of the menu, really, very tasty food.

I visited this restaurant twice as I like Chinese cuisine. Lunch option costs around 10EUR including soup or spring rolls with a main dish. Taste is was ok, unfortunately the portion size is too small if you are hungry. Sweet sour soup did not taste so good and the spring rolls are not home made. The other day I went again for lunch, choosing from the standard menu this time (13EUR) a very similar dish as I had the other day. I asked if the portion size would be bigger, but it turned out it wasn’t the case. Food was ok, could have been a bit more garlicky and spicy. Spice level was low despite two chilis displayed on the menu. I asked in both cases for tap water. Second time I got a peculiar answer: Tap water no good in Germany. To the best of my knowledge: Tap water is highly controlled in Germany. I asked then how does the restaurant cleans it food, prepares the dishes with? I got literally the answer: with meat water. Whatever this is supposed to mean. Had to pick up later chopsticks on my own, maybe they think I cannot eat with them? I left the restaurant and the waitress was chasing after me. She made a mistake and wanted more money from me. She insisted on cash, despite I paid with a card. Also not my fault, when she makes mistakes and she should accept my method of payment. Overall, I found the whole service experience rather underwhelming. The food was ok. Be aware, on the menu are other options, but only written in Chinese. Not sure if they want to exclude non-speaking customers from choosing such options.

It's definitely worth it to try!

We tried Gongbao chicken (comes with steamed rice) , Dan dan noodle soup , pork shu mai (open faced dumplings) . The noodle soup and the single bite sized dumplings were mediocre, the Gongbao tasted good enough. The service was good . We didnot like the chair covers , we felt it kind of spoiled the otherwise nice interiors.

Food poisoning... no coincidence as almost everyone in our group had it afterwards.

Me and 6 friends went here for lunch and 4 of us got food poisoning. We we're super sick for 1-2 days and one of us had to go to the hospital. This place is dangerous, dont come here for the sake of your health.

Last week I had a late lunch with friends at this restaurant. The food was okay at first, but not at second. Unfortunately, the food appeared to be contaminated and resulted in food poisoning. 4/6 people at the table were affected. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Very authentic Chinese food! Highly recommended!

I ordered the H1 which in the description says double baked pork and I got an entire serving of just fat and pork rind, not a single ounce of meat, just chewy boiled fat, it is by bar the worst thing I’ve ever ordered. If it said pork belly I would understand the misunderstanding considering what I got but it says clearly says pork meat.

Recommended: Spicy Sausage Chicken (remember to use less salt) Fried buns

I think, we had a lucky time spot. Not many customers and the lady served us not only what we ordered but also some appetizers and fruits at the end. It was very heartwarming. Of course the dishes that we ordered were super delicious and very authentic. Would recommend to those who are into real Chinese cousins.

Es ist ein familiengeführtes Unternehmen und man fühlt sich wirklich wie ein Familienmitglied beim Essen umsorgt. Wir haben dort bei einer Grillplatte Geburtstag gefeiert und es war herrlich. Wir haben gelacht, gut und lecker gegessen, stets umsorgt von der Inhaberin. Als wir gingen, wurden wir herzlich verabschiedet und das ist genau das, was einem nach so einem Abend in Erinnerung bleibt. Also, wir kommen unbedingt wieder.

Incredibly tasty and reasonably priced dishes. I can recommend the thousand year egg with tofu as a starter, and the lamb with cumin, and braised pork belly as main dishes. Friendly and quick service in a nice environment.

Essen war gut, als es denn irgendwann da war. Wer jedoch eine zumindest halbwegs zügige und organisierte Bedienung erwartet : weitergehen !

Wir waren am 8.07.23 Nachmittags zu zweit im Restaurant. Der Wein (Riesling) hatte die richtige Temperatur und war sehr gut. Das Essen schmeckte uns auch sehr gut. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Zum Ambiente - obwohl die Otto-Suhr-Allee vor der "Tür" ist, haben wir uns ganz entspannt wie im Urlaub gefühlt. Wir saßen drinnen, allerdings mit geöffneten Fenstern bzw. Türen. Zum Abschluss gab es es noch einen Pflaumenwein aufs Haus. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt, 👍 super Küche und guter Service, trotz Regen, wie haben im Außenbereich sprich Terrasse gesessen, natürlich unter Schirmen 🌂. Also ein schöner Abend.
