Yes, we ate some delicious ice cream in front of the house in the nice weather. We drank coffee and water. We felt comfortable.

No, after waiting for an hour we left. We just wanted to eat some spaghetti ice cream.

Not recommended for eating out! There's little choice in the restaurant, and you have to walk through the entire complex to get to the supposed salad buffet because the nearby refrigeration system apparently broke down. But the "salads" are in a mobile refrigerated counter. Strange... The food is very overpriced and tastes of nothing. It's missing salt, and somehow everything else too! No flavor! Two breaded schnitzels on the plate, each 100 grams of meat (very thin), with a little sauce and mushrooms, plus very dry fries for €23.90, very outrageous! Furthermore, at least four flies were flying around our table, which were very intrusive. You can get better and cheaper food elsewhere!!! I wouldn't go here again; we only went because we were hungry! The portions aren't filling either! Our conclusion: We've NEVER had such bad food for this price! Not recommended at all, as far as the restaurant is concerned!!!

No, unfortunately, I can NOT recommend this place. The outdoor area was mostly occupied by a group of dockworkers who, due to alcohol, unfortunately couldn't distinguish between foreign screams at work and normal volume during their free time. The staff was good at putting on a brave face and stayed very discreetly in the background. The food seemed significantly overpriced to me. The portions were excessively large; the Wiener Schnitzel was greasy (fried?), and the fries were OK. My request for red and white fries was deliberately ignored. The "salad from the salad buffet" only existed on the menu. I definitely wouldn't go here again.

Restaurant on the main street in Abbehausen. The menu is straightforward, but there's something for everyone. Service is friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly and was very good. There were eight of us, and we all got our food at the same time. It worked out well.

This was a overall very poor experience, lone staff so we had to wait very long before we could order, the staff was also very unfriendly and impolite, the food (schnitzel) was not very good at all, clearly frozen and then just pan fried, the beers ( they brew their own brand ) was good. Also rather expensive for what it was.

Very nice restaurant Something for everyone

We celebrated our wedding at the Brauhaus (in the "Alm") and are completely satisfied. The communication beforehand was seamless, all our requests were met, and everything was done exactly as we imagined. On the day itself, the food was absolutely fantastic, the service incredibly friendly and attentive, and the celebration lasted until the early hours of the morning in a great atmosphere. Since we had a lot of out-of-town guests, they were accommodated in the adjacent hotel, and everyone was completely satisfied. We were also able to have breakfast with our guests the next morning; everything went smoothly there too, and the breakfast was fantastic! We would like to thank the team at the Butjadinger Tor for this completely successful wedding celebration, which was perfect for us!

Highly recommended. The ambiance, depending on the part of the building, ranges from chic and modern to a bit dated with an 80s flair. The menu is relatively limited, and prices are still reasonable. The home-brewed beer is very drinkable and delicious. Breakfast is plentiful with a wide selection. Depending on the location, the rooms are very quiet, although it can be a bit noisy towards the street.

Unfortunately, good ice cream isn't as readily available in Nordenham anymore. But how nice that you can now go and get real ice cream at the Butjadinger Tor, or even pick it up. Simply delicious and friendly. Fenema always finds a new niche in the market 😁 Then there's also a restaurant and brewery there. Also delicious food and great beer. It's a shame that the outdoor seating area is right on the main street. It's a bit noisy for relaxing and especially dangerous with small children eating ice cream. But we're so glad it's here.

If you have a coffee table (funeral service) makes a lot of money, you also want the guests to be satisfied. Unfortunately there was barely a slice of bread for everyone. And the butter cake was even more scarce. Such a situation is very unpleasant. It is not recommended.

The two of us spontaneously went to Butjadinger Tor Essen. The asparagus was very good. The boiled potatoes came with it from a jar. My wife ordered plaice fillet with fried potatoes. The plaice fillet was very good. The fried potatoes were cold and very fatty. After a complaint to the service, after a bit of a wait, we received new fried potatoes. The plaice fillet had already been eaten. The service offered us an espresso and a schnapps. In summary, we didn't get adequate food for around €60. Too bad.

The service was subpar. Tables not covered, no cutlery and no one knew about anything after 9.45 a.m. and the bacon was simply floating in the water. I can't recommend anyone. Otherwise the food was ok, nothing special but there was actually something for everyone. Please work on service!!! Overall, there weren't enough tables set and even when we asked, we were told to just sit at a table that wasn't set yet. Eating is still difficult without cutlery, but never again.

Absolutely recommended with a 100% repeat guarantee! I originally wanted to eat a little ice cream for my child's report card. However, once we were in the premises, we immediately felt coziness, well-being and hunger. It smelled of fresh fried potatoes and the fireplace invited you straight to lunch. I ordered half a goose with apple red cabbage and dumplings, my daughter ordered the schnitzel with fries with mushrooms and braised onions. Both were an absolute dream. Craziness. I don't call myself a gourmet, but I recognize good cuisine and that was very, very good. My daughter described it something like this: Like eating a cloud with an angel playing a harp on it :) The ice cream and cappuccino afterwards were the perfect ending. That was absolutely perfect, thank you for the taste explosion!!!

The in-house beers (Zwickel and Oktoberfest beer) are really delicious. You can taste the high, craftsmanship quality. For dinner there was Holsteiner Schnitzel with fried potatoes. Schnitzel, egg and fried bacon were good. The fried potatoes probably sat next to the pan for 2 minutes - there's another way to fry them. You can put together the salad yourself in buffet form and there is plenty to choose from. However, the individual variations should perhaps be labeled and the salad bar should be better lit. Despite being moderately busy, the service was quite slow and uncoordinated - but still friendly. The seasonal food and drink offerings and the good price/performance ratio should be positively highlighted.

Buffet was standard. Nothing special. Staff was nice. If something was often missing so that it could be refilled, you had to ask and wait accordingly. For €21 per person (breakfast buffet) that was definitely not enough. Unfortunately not really recommended, which is a real shame.

Uns wurde das Buvette empfohlen. Leider waren mit wenigen Ausnahme sämtliche Speisen leer oder fast leer. Das Gemüse und der Lachs waren noch nicht durchgekocht. Zusammenfassend nicht zum Empfehlen und eine Abzocke.

Everything was great...great outdoor area

I came here for the first time at the end of June 2024 for an event hosted by a friend. I was particularly interested in the brewery there. The dark beer “Friesenhäuptling” didn’t just excite me because of the name! I'll eat next time. Maybe it will come with the self-propelled serving cart. I was shown it by a nice waitress and filmed it, but as an empty journey. He's supposed to support the staff when the house is full, but that wasn't the case when I visited. I show the device in action on YouTube. Conclusion: A pleasant hotel ensemble with a dignified ambience halfway to the Jadebusen/Eckwarderhörne with the Preußeneck lighthouse and the ferry to Wilhelmshaven.

Moin, waren heute Mittag zum Essen in diesem Lokal. Hatten reserviert, 2 Personen mit Hund 🐕. Haben einen tollen Platz bekommen wo der Hund bequem liegen konnte. Wir hatten Limandenfilet in Eihülle und Schollenfilet mit knusprigem Bacon 🥓 und super leckeren Bratkartoffeln. Sehr gerne wieder.

We are on site for several days as part of a conference. Out of 7 days so far, the service had to be reminded on 3-4 days that water, coffee or something similar should be brought, the first 3 days they checked on us after that almost only when we called. This morning we were simply completely forgotten. .. Good service can be done differently. The food included in the conference package was, sorry, catastrophic. An example: Frozen peas with bags of mashed potatoes and bag of sauce for convenience meat and that from a restaurant kitchen... Phew, that's very weak. Almost all participants complained of a queasy feeling in their stomach after eating or even became ill. Every day there were unclean plates at the salad bar that had to be sorted out first. Given the quality, it goes without saying that the taste of the food was poor. In fact, there wasn't a day where you could say Uh yes, that was delicious. It plugged a hole, but a Maggi pack would be the same level. The cobwebs in the meeting room hanging 10 cm from the ceiling... Well, that's not exactly great and shows how well the rooms are maintained. In general, I would never visit the rooms again because my health is too important to me and I no longer need a meal like that. We have already informed the course organizer that we will no longer take part in any courses held at this location. The location itself, if it were properly maintained, would be really great, the ambience in the brewery is great, no question. The area at the front has more of an 80s charm but it's okay. There are enough parking spaces to highlight something particularly positive. No matter where the operator has problems, he should definitely improve his staff, because it probably won't work anymore, unfortunately.

I have now been able to sleep and eat there several times for work. Everything is well arranged and it is just nice to be there.
