I like to eat there. Schnitzel of all kinds and fair price/performance ratio. Nice staff and good beer 🍻

I think when it comes to food it depends on the cook, our food wasn't really that good, the cook changed after us and the food looked better

Schnitzels were ok. Fries were in the deep fryer at least twice and were accordingly greasy and dark. Our complaint was received without apology and rather apatheticly. Service made a rather indifferent impression. We used to eat there every now and then, and things were much better and more appetizing.

Food choice is acceptable by Bavarian standards. Beer is not. Service is hit-or-miss, unfortunately. I've waited 20 minutes for a beer before, and the restaurant was basically empty. Poor gal didnt know how to draft a beer at an angle so there isnt any head on it...

Visited from Toronto, Canada Great schnitzel, with big portions at a low price. Overall service was great. Really liked their Chicken stuffed with cheese and topped with mushrooms sauce schnitzel. Also try their fruit sparkling drinks.

A somewhat outdated facility, but very comfortable and clean. We were two people and had a Jäger and an onion schnitzel with fried potatoes. The schnitzels were super tasty, a decent portion and a fair price, unfortunately the fried potatoes were not so good, they had little taste and were burnt. The staff is super friendly and on point.

The food is always well prepared and tastes delicious. Had a great farmer schnitzel today. My wife had a Cordon bBeu which was quite dry, had little cheese and the breading didn't stick well. It was already in the hour before the kitchen closed Definitely better next time. The chance exists

Frozen schnitzel for a lot of money is not possible

Best schnitzel I’ve had in my life, and that’s saying a lot. Breading was perfectly crispy, pork was tender, and the roasted potatoes were so incredibly flavorful. Local Kloster bier was perfect for washing it down. Great atmosphere created by the history and all the local regulars that were dining. If you want to get away from tourists, this is a great place!

Great atmosphere and beer. Stayed in town for years on business. This was one of the better family restaurants and bars in Mainz. Same atmosphere and great selection of beer. Food use to be consistent and good. Deserts were great. Do not know if they had a change in the kitchen. the quality of prep and sourcing of deserts changed over the last 2 years. The apple strudel was disappointing. The basic menu items are still there. Flavoring in red cabbage and fried potatoes are the same and very traditional. Sauces are all good. They have english menus, everyone there speaks english well. Overall, they are very friendly and helpful in figuring out the menu and weekly specials. Be aware they remain a cash only business.

Prices/performance is top and very tasty schnitzels.

On Sunday (9/22/24) we were at the “Brauhaus zur Sonne” inn with a total of three guests. Taking the order was initially quick and uncomplicated. “Spaghetti Aglio e Olio” (with tomato sauce!?) was on the menu, but unfortunately it was not possible to get a small portion of it as a starter. So we ordered a Jägerschnitzel and two oven-fresh grilled knuckles. The Jägerschnitzel was mistakenly served with fries instead of fried potatoes (as stated on the menu); I was told this was a mistake on the part of the kitchen. Only after a vigorous complaint was the Jägerschnitzel served with fried potatoes. One of the grilled knuckles was served at the same time as the Jägerschnitzel, followed a short time later by the accompanying coleslaw with the fried potatoes. The second grilled knuckle was only served after another 20 minutes, initially without the accompanying side dishes. Only when we managed to draw the attention of a service staff to this deficiency after another five minutes were these side dishes served. We would rate the quality of the food as 3- (according to the German school grading system). Overall, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

Great Find! We were impressed with its delicious Chicken Schnitzel (juicy & flavorful!) and crispy Baked Tomato side. The complimentary salad with tasty dressing was a lovely touch. Friendly service too! Highly recommended.

Were stranded at the main station in Mainz with a big hole in our stomach. Our cell phone took us to the brewery...just our thing. Rustic, very friendly staff and very tasty food in brewery style. The portions are generous and really fill you up!! All 4 of us were thrilled. Afterwards we had to go back to the main station to continue our journey home... phew, a bit tiring with a full stomach =;-) We'd love to come back!!!!

The schnitzel was wobbly like rubber, few fries were of poor quality

Einmal und nie wieder, Bedienung hatte entweder telefoniert oder Kind im Arm beim bedienen. Sorry bin keiner der keine Kinder mag aber Kind im Arm an der Windel und dann wird essen serviert sorry geht gar nicht. Sitzen beim essen und dann wird am Nachbartisch gekehrt so das der ganze Staub auf unseren Tisch kommt. Sollen sie doch ein Kinderrestaurant aufmachen kein Problem aber Hände an der Windel und dann essen servieren sorry geht garnicht. Essen kaum Sosse und die Pommes im alten Fett frisiert.

Very good place to have a home-style meal

Unfortunately that was nothing - it's a shame - you expect good food with great service from a brewery - unfortunately many things were just finished products and frozen food - no taste, carelessly prepared. Tables wobble and the staff doesn't seem particularly motivated. At least one employee tried to stop the table from wobbling so much. Unfortunately we will not be making a second visit. By the way, we had fish and schnitzel

I don't actually give GOOGLE reviews, but today I have to do that! There's no other way! I was eating here with my girlfriend today and we've never eaten such a bad schnitzel and such a bad salad. The schnitzel was just dripping full of oil and the salad was carelessly made and most of it consisted of store-bought coleslaw and grated carrots that didn't taste like anything. Maybe it was because we had the food included in the price of the hotel, but even then it wouldn't have been that way The only thing that was positive was that the fries tasted good and that we had a small drink with our meal.

We were a group of seven people. The food was simply very tasty and the staff was friendly. Even my ever-nagging sister was happy. Therefore definitely five stars.

Excellent choice, we ordered what was on the menu and in 3 minutes we had it served, Rahmschnitzel (meat with mushroom sauce) and Spießbraten mit Pommes (stuffed roast meat) all very delicious.

So the service is really bad. We were on site for 3 hours and there were more than 10 errors. Waiters hardly speak any German. Plates are cleared during the meal. No thanks, no please. Something has to change here. The tables outside are wobbly and need to be tightened. Chairs are broken. You don't live long with this kind of staff.

We ate by far the worst schnitzel ever here. The schnitzels were loveless, limp, poorly seasoned and tasted bad. The fried potatoes that came with it were completely cooked through, not crispy at all and were dripping with oil and butter. I would strongly advise against this restaurant because of the high prices for very miserable food. There are significantly better alternatives in Mainz. Unfortunately, the ambience and service were only very average. A pity.

Very very bad restaurant!!! Extremely bad food!!!!!!! Greasy is to say the least.... It took them 1 hour to bring 3 steaks!!! Terrible experience. I wanted to try the knuckle and they didn't have it. I thought it was expensive for the quality of the vomiting food!!!!! A 0!!! And the waitresses.... They didn't know anything!!!! A shame

We recently went to the Brauhaus zur Sonne, the service and prices were really ok and the food tasted delicious.

The food is simple but good and plentiful! Price-performance. It's absolutely fine. ! The service staff was very friendly, there were no complaints regarding service and their tasks.

Unfortunately there are only bottles and unfortunately no glasses... but otherwise good... delicious beers and sodas...

We asked when we entered if we could pay by card and were told yes. Then when it came time to pay we were told only German debit. Thankfully one of us had enough cash. Additionally the bill was completely wrong. And one of our orders came out wrong. Food was good but not amazing.

The pork knuckle was terrible, The skin was limp and only about 10% crispy. The meat was dry and hard in places where it should actually be soft. It also tasted old. Bah. The fried potatoes were a disgrace, watery potatoes cooked in bad-tasting oil (?) and unseasoned. Likewise the sauerkraut, which only tasted sour. I advise everyone not to eat here. The waitress asked how satisfied I was, which I answered truthfully and was only commented on by rolling my eyes. So not at all. A couple next to us also complained about their spaghetti Bolognese, which was brownish in color but the bolo was completely missing and was just dry. Never again, A bad figurehead for the city of Mainz.

We were hungry and thirsty, but only had 30 minutes because we wanted to go to a concert in the cathedral. We were served in a super friendly manner, warm dishes were on the table after 10 minutes and we were able to enjoy the delicious dishes with a cool Andechser beer. We were very happy about this visit to the Brauhaus zur Sonne. Thank you very much.

They don't accept credit cards but they tell you after consumption, I asked for the receipt and they gave me a greasy card... I don't know if they are runaways, in any case zero professionalism.

Wohin geht man mit Verwandten aus Ami Land in Mainz typisch deutsch(was immer das ist??) essen.Schwierig,schwierig. Ins Brauhaus zur Sonne,meinem Erinnerungsort zahlloser,unglaublicher Geschichten aus den 70er Jahren, bestimmt nicht Hier regiert das vorpanierte Schnitzel in Standardgröße, zähe Rinderleber Marke"Wandersmann",der hingerichtete Blattsalat mit Essigessenz "Hausdressing",Champignons der Marke "JA," aus dem Gläser und Saucen, die das Eiserne Kreuz verdient hätten. Der Service ,gewohnt osteuropäisch lustlos,ist bei mehr als 5 Gästen hoffnungslos überfordert. Nach Blicken auf die Nachbarteller haben wir nur eine Kleinigkeit bestellt und sind dann ins ,"Wilma Wunder," am Markt. Die wissen wie's geht. Scheinbar gilt ,bis auf 2,3 Ausnahmen immer noch" Wenn du in Mainz gut essen willst,fahr nach Wiesbaden.," Shame on you!!!

To be honest, you eat much better at home... cutlery was dirty... the first waitress couldn't wait to get off work. The second service was really great. There were 3 of us there to get something to eat. The cards were carelessly thrown on the table, were incomplete and one was even in English. The cutlery was dirty in a stone jug that also looked interesting inside. The cutlery was replaced grumpily. The lunch special was OK in terms of the portion price, but I don't go away to eat packet sauce. It's actually a shame, because I was there years ago and actually had fond memories of it. Greetings to the operator... just test it yourself with your eyes open and self-critically.

Hello, My colleague and I were traveling in Mainz today. We looked for a German inn and found this one. We were looking forward to delicious schnitzel, but we quickly lost our joy. Relatively listless staff, salad that is not worthy of being called a salad and then the schnitzel... Looked like a ready-made schnitzel from the frozen food store and tasted even worse... Fried potatoes, or as I would call them "potatoes halved and boiled" were not that Burner. The only positive thing is the beer!

I ordered schnitzel with hunter sauce and fried potatoes there today / the schnitzel was ok and the portion was also good, but the hunter sauce was with canned mushrooms and the sauce itself had something that was thickened with powder, sorry but that used to be better for you ! The fried potatoes were very chunky cut and could definitely have used a little more armor. Overall, I can't recommend it 👎.

The best thing is the ambience, unfortunately! The Brauhaus Zur Sonne is a Mainz institution, but unfortunately the quality and service have deteriorated significantly. I've been there twice to eat during carnival and I have to say that it's better just to drink there. On my first visit, friends recommended the cheeseburger to me. Basically a pre-programmed failure in a restaurant with German cuisine. The Petty was probably frozen and thrown straight onto the hot plate. Unfortunately it was tough and tasteless. The roll had been packaged by a discounter or wholesaler and only toasted. Take some sliced ​​cheese, a slice of tomato and cucumber, as well as some iceberg lettuce and you have a creation that would taste better from any hobby cook because it tastes like something. At least the fries were sufficient and okay. On my second visit I ordered the schnitzel with leek and cheese gratin and I have to honestly say that it tasted good and I wasn't disappointed. But the big disappointment came from the accompaniments. Both had ordered a bratwurst with fries. The first of the two bratwursts already smelled sour when it stood uncut at the table. The second one was light when cut, but definitely had a sour taste. The definitely sour smelling bratwurst should never have been given out of the kitchen like that. This is an absolute impudence and borders on bodily harm for me. At least the bratwurst was taken back without hesitation and replaced with Viennese-style schnitzel. Unfortunately, the latter also had to be paid for. I would have liked more goodwill here rather than charging the price for the bratwursts that I actually ordered. On both visits I noticed that the menu was... T. was very wrinkled and smelled like an old dishcloth the second time. In addition, on the first visit the waitress was very curt, slapped the plates on the table and seemed very disillusioned. On my second visit, the service was very on the ball, friendly, but still very curt and seemed overwhelmed. At least the guest room and the toilets were clean. I definitely won't go here to eat again. Always happy for a draft beer.

Quaint village pub, with delicious food and friendly owners

We were here on Carnival. At this time there is a state of emergency in every bar in Mainz. The food was still pretty quick and good. The waitresses were nice but not the quickest, it always took a while until new orders were taken. Toilets without towel paper and the hot air didn't work either.

It's a piece of Old Mainz, and so is the furnishings! Something quaint and cozy!!! We had very good liver for dinner! If someone loves home cooking, then this is the place for you!!!

As always, the ambience is rustic, cozy and just like you would expect from a restaurant that you have been visiting since you were a teenager. The food was attractively prepared, absolutely sufficient and perfectly seasoned. The service is attentive, meaning there are no waiting times, even if the restaurant is busy. The prices are within reasonable limits. Conclusion: Absolutely recommended and always worth a visit!

Hello, I was there the days there my decision. Never again, we used to eat there more often but there's no comparison to now. It's sad, the schnitzel was full of fat, it tasted rancid, the kraft potatoes were rock hard, that's not possible

Very bad food, schnitzel burnt black, the same with the fried potatoes. Went there 3 times at intervals and always the same bad food. The boss explained what was with the food but had no interest in our comment. Never this store again. One star for the food is still too much.

As a flight attendant who always stays in the area I think its the best German cuisine. The salad dressing is amazing. Schnitzel n potatoes best around

The Sonnen-Schnitzel, with a little less cheese/sauce than usual. Meat was good and plentiful. Fries ok. Huge brawn. Several fried potatoes were completely burnt and not very seasoned. With Tartar sauce was saved. The prices are fair.

Ich lebe im Ausland und bin jetzt etlichen Jahren zum ersten Mal wieder in Deutschland. Ich hatte das Brauhaus zur Sonne aus früheren Jahren in guter Erinnerung - die wurde heute gründlich zerstört! Ich bestellte ein Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat - eigentlich ganz simpel. Der Salat kam zuerst - günstigstenfalls am frühen Morgen zubereitet, aber wohl eher vom Vortag übrig geblieben. 25 Minuten später kam das Schnitzel, das eine Beleidigung für das arme Schwein war, das dafür sein Leben lassen musste. Die Panade völlig ungewürzt und total matschig, das Fleisch strohtrocken und zäh. Die sogenannten Bratkartoffeln waren halbierte Salzkartoffeln, die lediglich auf der Schnittseite schwarz gebraten waren, Gewürze hatten die armen Dinger nie gesehen. Der Clou kam, als ich lediglich das Fleisch gegessen hatte und die Serviererin wortlos den Teller abräumen wollte - wahrscheinlich wusste sie, wie grottenschlecht das Essen war. Ich brachte meine Beschwerden vor, sie zuckte die Schultern und entschwand. Fazit: definitiv das schlechteste Schnitzel meines Lebens!

Oh dear, the restaurant seems like a better chip shop...food is neither tasty nor appealing. The lettuce was wilted and brown, the food tasted like stale fat. The staff also fits better in a chip shop than in a restaurant. It's better to spend more money and get quality. We sometimes travel to Mainz as visitors and often eat in Mainz, but we have never had such a bad restaurant! That was our first and definitely last visit.

Das Personal hatte leider keine Lust zu arbeiten und das Essen wurde nur auf den Tisch geklatscht. Hatte ein Schnitzel das okay war. Leider triefte das Schnitzel nur so vor fett und war super ölig. Das Besteck war leider schmutzig und auch der Teller. Naja ich komme nicht mehr. Dachte das die Bewertungen nicht so stimmen können. Aber leider doch. Gebe anstandshalber 3 Sterne

Anfangs wirkte es vielversprechend, dieser Eindruck wurde leider nach kurzer Zeit widerlegt. Die Karten kamen teilweise zerknittert an und wirkten billig. Das Schnitzel war sehr dick und teilweise auch zäh. Die Pommes waren so fettig, dass der Ketchup, welcher das MHD seit einiger Zeit überschritten hatte, nichtmal daran haften blieb. Das Besteck war schmierig und es waren sogar einige Fingerabrücke darauf zu sehen. Auf Nachfrage kam neues Besteck, welches leider auch zum Teil schmierig war. Das Dessert, Schokosoufflé, war durchgebacken und hatte somit keinen flüssigen Kern mehr. Das beiliegende Eis schmeckte nicht wirklich nach irgendetwas. Die Bedienungen bekam man nur selten zu Gesicht, wobei auch nur der eine Kellner überhaupt etwas Motivation aufwies. Alles in Allem kann ich es nicht weiterempfehlen.

Schweinshaxe quasi ungewürzt, die Hälfte der Schwarte labberig. Ein sehr freundlicher Kellner, den anderen Damen hat man angemerkt, dass sie keine Lust auf ihren Job haben. Beschwerde wegen schlechtem Essen ohne Reaktion aus der Küche. Tisch für 8 Personen reserviert, nur 6 haben dran gepasst. Nie mehr!

Waiter lied about payment. Customer behind us charged their meal. Then when we asked for bill, he tells us they only accept cash. Even the website cites contact less payment, debit cards, etc.. Food itself was fair, not great.

schnitzel mit bratkartoffel und salat - die salat blätter waren leider schon braun. das schnitzel war nicht gut im geschmack und hat im „fett/öl“ getrieft. bratkortoffel waren auch ziemlich lieblos. allgemein sehr lieblos und ohne gewürze

Wo soll ich anfangen? Das Besteck/Gläser sind verdreckt, das Essen ekelhaft vom angegammelten Salat bis zu dem Braten der in Wasser schwimmt, Klopapier das mit Staub bedeckt ist bis zum Mangel an Kritikfähigkeit beim Personal. Mit einem „ja da kann ich nichts machen“ wird man abgespeist. Jedes Aufwärmessen vom Aldi schmeckt besser und hat mehr Qualität…

This is a family-run restaurant; it's cozy and serves some of the best schnitzel in town, although there are many other options! Since I go for the schnitzel, I'll mention that you can choose between chicken, pork or veal. There is a choice of sauce (peppercorn, mushrooms or onions) as well as choice of potato. A small salad comes with your schnitzel, too! Many restaurants have started charging extra for these things but Brauhaus does not, which makes it an excellent value as well! As a crew member for an international carrier, I'm in Mainz 3-4 times a month. This is one of my favorite restaurants! The chicken schnitzel with the peppercorn sauce is delicious and since I can only eat half, I have leftovers for the flight home! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Ein gemütliches kleines, sehr familiäres Restaurant mit tollem Schnitzel. Auch die Auswahl an vegetarischen ist echt ganz gut. Wir waren begeistert, satt und es hat sehr gut geschmeckt

Noch ganz viel Luft nach oben! Bei unserem Besuch ergab es sich, das König Fußball in der Stadt war und dementsprechend viel los. Die drei Jungen Leute welche am Bedienen waren bemühten sich redlich. Ein Tischkonzept scheint es aber nicht zu geben. Entweder kam erstmal gar niemand, dann alle drei kurz nacheinander. Irgendwann waren wir dann auch versorgt. Es gab: Ein Paniertes Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat, ein Sonnenschnitzel mit heller Soße und Champignons, das ganze mit Käse Überbacken. Die Salate: Frisch und knackig, daß Dressing vermutlich ein fertiges. Nichts schlechtes, aber auch nichts bewegendes. Das panierte Schnitzel mit Kartoffeln: Das Schnitzel unten zu dunkel gebacken, Fettglanz auf der Panade (vermutlich Bratfett drüber geschaufelt) insgesamt aber doch zu trocken. Die Kartoffeln leider auch zu trocken. Und Würze fehlte überall. Das Sonnenschnitzel: Grundsätzlich gut. Das Fleisch in Ordnung,die Soße vermutlich ein Fertigprodukt, der Käse nicht der Hochwertigste, aber durchaus vertretbar. Die Pommes knusprig. Würze: Leider auch hier zu wenig. Am Nachbartisch: Ein Schnitzel zu durch, das andere mit rohem Streifen. Hier fehlt einfach Konstanz. Natürlich ist der Druck mitunter immens, die Preise für die Portionen völlig in Ordnung, aber da geht noch was. Konzept überdenken bzw erstellen, Abläufe verbessern, Qualität gleichhalten (nach Steigerung) dann wird's was. Wir wünschen viel Erfolg. Mehr als 2 Sterne im Schnitt können wir unter diesen Umständen bei unserem Besuch nicht Vergeben.

Awesome spot, delicious beer and schnitzel

Sehr schmackhaftes Essen zu moderaten Preisen. Große Portionen.Freundlicher schneller Service. Für mich eine klare Empfehlung.

Sauberkeit ist wohl das wichtigste .... die Tischplatte war vom Vorgänger noch reichlich gesalzen. War schön eingetrocknet. Wir bestellten 2 Rose´-Schorle. Wir bekamen 2 große Wassergläser, halb gefüllt mit viel Wasser und ein bisschen Rose` - geschmackloser kann man ein Getränk nicht servieren. Der Beilagensalat kam auf weißen Tellerchen (waren noch die Flecken von der Spülmaschine zu sehen) - total lieblos angerichtet - 3 verschiedene Salate (würde mal sagen jeweils 1 Esslöffel) und mitten drauf ein Löffel Dressing. Wir hatten ein Rumsteak mit Pfeffersosse. Das Fleisch war gut, die Soße befriedigend und die Pommes schmeckten sogar - allerdings gab es sehr wenig Pommes. Alles zusammen knapp 60 €. Die Bedienung war sichtlich bemühlt und freundlich.

Wir saßen draußen was etwas ungemütlich wirkte,als sei alles schon im Winterschlaf gewesen und aufgrund des guten Wetters auf die schnelle wieder hingestellt worden,es wirkte alles schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen inkl. Speisekarte Bedienung war sehr nett , und man wurde zügig bedient. Essen preislich OK, aber es war auch sehr langweilig, wir hatten alle das Schnitzel mit Champignonrahmsoße und es war nix besonderes, konnte es essen aber das war's auch. Beilagensalat ebenfalls schlicht und ergreifend langweilig, lieblos und geschmacklich am unteren Level...ich würde es nicht als Restaurant deklarieren sondern als Kneipe mit Essenskarte Fazit: Ehe ich hungern muss OK,bei freier Wahl allerdings ganz hinten in der Liste, schade...

This is a cute little cafe/pub. The menu is a bit limited but they have a nice selection of German wines and it’s situated so that it’s nicely shaded, and with big umbrellas when it’s hot out. They only take euro cash or German credit cards.

Wir waren schon sehr enttäuscht !! Das Essen ist eine lustlos zusammengestellte Zumutung. Ohne Gewürz und Luebe gekocht. Ein Schnitzel und ein Rumpsteak. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Schade um das alte traditionsreiche Lokal.

Günstiger Mittagstisch, aber man brauchte schon viel Wartezeit, bis das Essen kam.

Essen war von der Qualität in der Ordnung, aber preislich eher im gehobenen Niveau angesiedelt. Service war gut. Alles in allem 3/5.

Das Restaurant ist absolut in die Jahre gekommen, es fehlt jegliches Ambiente. Das Personal war bemüht. Bestellt hatte ich das Schlemmerschnitzel. Das Schnitzel triefte vor Fett und die Panade war matschig. Das Dressing am Salat kam vermutlich aus der Tube und die Pommes waren derart labrig, dass sie sich wie Nudeln bogen

Love this place! The creamy peppercorn and brown cognac chicken schnitzel are two of my favorites here. We also had the red cabbage and pretzels with cheese dip. So delicious! The service is friendly just know they only take Euro. Can't wait to come back!

I always enjoy dinner here. Good salad and pork schnitzel with brown and creamy mushroom sauce. Service if pleasant and food served hot. Like the potatoes served much better than French fries. Forgot to take a pic before digging in. Nice outside seating inside is quaint.

Essen war nicht schlecht, allerdings war das Steak kalt und der Salat eher lieblos auf den Teller geklatscht. Pommes waren mit Pommesgewürz gewürzt. Wieso nimmt niemand mehr normales Salz? Zusatzstoffe ohne Ende braucht kein Mensch. Zudem war es sehr laut und sehr voll (wofür die Inhaber nichts können). Wenn jedoch ein Tisch für 20 Leute bestellt ist, sollten auch 20 Leute einigermaßen bequem essen können, ohne den Ellenbogen im Gesicht des Nachbarn parken zu müssen. Vielleicht werde ich demnächst noch mal einen Versuch außerhalb der Vorweihnachtszeit starten. Schließlich war das Ding voll, und so viele Gäste können sich nicht irren. Bedienungen kamen mir auch leicht überfordert vor, wobei aber wirklich fast kein Durchkommen zwischen den Tischen möglich war. Ansonsten uriges Lokal mit Tradition!

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 23 Personen da. Das Essen war gut, alle wurden satt und kam auch zeitnah auf den Tisch. Allerdings ließ das Kellereck wo wir untergebracht wurden sehr zu wünschen übrig. An den Wänden war Salpeter und Schimmel und leider roch man auch die Tabletten, die auf den Toiletten sehr. Schade, es wären für unsere Gruppe schönere Plätze vorhanden gewesen.

Heute mit einer Freundin zum Mittag Tisch dagewesen. Nette Bedienung, deutsche Küche und angemessene Preise. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben draußen gesessen weil es da bissl ruhiger ist ohne Straße Lärm.

The main dish was great (Jagerschnitzel), but these home potatoes were some of the best I've ever had! Both dishes definitely complimented each other. Price was decent (18 euros), and the waiter was nice and patient as we walked me through the menu. Great overall experience.

Das Essen hat leider in den letzten Jahren stark nachgelassen. Die meisten Kantinenschnitzel sind besser. Der Service nicht unfreundlich, aber auch nicht freundlich. Im ganzen alles lustlos.

Panierte Pappedeckel trifft das Schnitzel am besten. Soßen schmecken etwas zu sehr nach Fertigsoße Salat war ok aber auch das Bier etwas warm und nicht gut kalt genug
