Rarely have Indian food been so good...

Ambiance: simply but comfortably furnished. Service: Employees are friendly and helpful. Food: very, very tasty and cheap. 2 dishes each vegetarian and meat. Plus homemade sauces, salad, lentil bread and dessert. Enough choice for us.

I grew up in Freising and have always been happy with the excellent lunch menu buffet that I always enjoy together with my parents, my adult children and/or my brother. The ambience and music are Indian. The owner and everyone else are always friendly, accommodating and happy to explain the ingredients and spices of the simple and delicious dishes. For the price and all you can eat, sensational. I don't go out to eat everywhere, "all you can eat" not so much. I love simple, well-seasoned and delicious dishes, which is why I've come to the right place. I'm happy with myself. Namaste

I grew up in Freising and have known the restaurant for a long time. The obviously financially unstable situation of the store has been noticeable for three years now. The quality of the food has decreased but above all the service is now very poor. The owner used to be always friendly, but today all he cares about is that you pay in cash and give enough tips. On the other hand, an unfriendly comment follows. Every time you want to pay with a card you get the excuse that the card reader takes a long time or that you only have to pay in cash for lunch. Unfortunately it's hardly worth a visit anymore.

I regularly visit Bombay for lunch breaks. The buffet is sufficient. The food was great. Price/performance still fits here. €9.90 is good value. I can happily recommend it.

The buffet at Bombay is of course relatively small, but it is very inexpensive and tastes good. The restaurant is also comfortably furnished and in summer you can also sit outside.

In comparison with other warm food-serving restaurant in Freising nowadays, the price-food ratio is good (can’t complain for a buffet costs €9,90). The taste can be more authentic, but overall it is a good experience.

Qualität hat nachgelassen, finde ich (i.Vgl. zu vor ein paar Jahren). Geschmacklich. Kleiner Salat war gut. Chai, Suppe dünner als früher. Das Reisgericht war zerkocht und fast unansehnlich gräulich (wie mehrfach aufgewärmter Rest), Gemüse nur aus der Dose, bis auf ein paar weicheste Karottenscheiben. Geschmack des warmen Essens war o.k., für ein Restaurant optisch/geschmacklich m.M.n. jedoch nicht angemessen. Die Portion war riesig. Satt bin ich geworden. Am Ende dafür ≥ 30 € bezahlt 😳 (mit zwei zus. Getränken). Die Atmosphäre war angespannt, geschäftsmäßig. WC +/- sauber. Ich mag es hier eigentlich, weil eher unkompliziert und das Buffet früher unschlagbar, die Speisen lecker. Die Lage ist natürlich angespannt, mit Coronajahren und den Preiserhöhungen. Das ist auch bei anderen Restaurants in der Stadt geschmacklich zu spüren. Ich hoffe, dass es wieder besser wird. 👍 Ihr könnt das besser 👍🙂.

Essen hat gut geschmeckt. Alles andere hat uns nicht gefallen.

Wir waren uns erst nicht sicher, ob wir rein gehen wollen, da das Ambiente nicht so überzeugend war. Wir haben dann jedoch, Achtung Geheimtipp: Plätze am Balkon ergattert und saßen dann ruhig und gemütlich am Fluss. Sehr angenehm. Alles war sauber, Besteck, Gläser, Tisch... und das Essen war sehr gut. Frisches Fleisch, knackiges Gemüse. Das frische Naan war knusprig und weich zugleich- sehr zu empfehlen. Die Bedienung hat regelmäßig nach uns gesehen und auch auf den Reisnachschub mussten wir nicht warten. Top. Preise sind angemessen zu Menge und Qualität. Wir wurden reichlich satt.

Per Zufall gesehen und eingekehrt. Als Buffet alles bestens. Auch die ganz Hungrigen wurden satt.

Mein Freund und ich hatten eigentlich nur nach einem schnellen Abendessen gesucht - Dabei ist uns das Bombay in der schönen Freisinger Altstadt ins Auge gesprungen. Da ich vegan bin, ist es mir wichtig in Restaurants eine gute und leckere Auswahlmöglichkeit zu haben, was beim Bombay auf jeden Fall der Fall ist. Das Essen ist gut und der Preis im Vergleich zu anderen indischen Restaurants top! Wir hatten etwas zum mitnehmen bestellt, was dann auch wirklich zügig fertig war. Des Weiteren durften wir die Wartezeit mit Papadam und Soßen verbringen. Zum Ambiente können wir leider wenig sagen, aber schlecht hat es nicht gewirkt. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Ich bin hier oft für Mittagsbuffet, die Qualität ist für den Preis ziemlich gut. Das Essen schmeckt, man wird nett bedient, die Atmosphäre ist authentisch.

Habe gestern Abendessen dort bestellt. Essen war sehr lecker und große Portion. Lieferung war sehr schnell.

Pleasant restaurant with comfortable outdoor seating in back. Several dishes can be made vegan. I had the dal soup, which was excellent, and a very nice channa masala.

Food is okay, Driver is creepy. Texted my number on WhatsApp after ordering per Lieferando. Absolutely terrifying when he refused to stop texting and was such a stalker asking where I was and/or calling. I really hope the owners take the costumer‘s privacy seriously and not allow this non sense.

I usually don’t write review unless, it is meant to give a genuine feedback to improve the service. +ve: reasonable price, decent food -ve: if you are Indian then forget about finding service to be polite. One waiter, is very rude, wears earplugs all the time. No coordination with main chef/owner. I was very frequent at this place for the price and food. But now I won’t, which I guess will not make difference. But they keep being impolite and unorganised then it will make difference in future.

It is a cheap and good place but not 100% authentic Indian taste. Friendly staff is a plus but the restaurant ambient is only average.

Die Küche ist tatsächlich ganz passabel. Das Ambiente könnte allerdings tatsächlich etwas mehr Flair vertragen.

Das Essen ist ok , ich habe allerdings schon besser indisch gegessen . Preise sind meiner Meinung nach für die Qualität, die geboten wird , zu hoch .

Kleines, einfaches, doch gemütliches Lokal, mit einem kleinen, feinen Mittagsbuffet (zwei Chicken Gerichte, zwei vegetarische Gerichte, Reis, Salat, Papadam und Naan, ein Nachtisch, Raita, und die drei Würzsoßen), mit sehr gut gewürztem Essen

Für und der beste Inder in Freising! Freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Fischtikka. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Es war echt sehr sehr gut, selten gebe ich fünf Punkte, aber es war heute absolut verdient. Wir haben zwar zu Hause gegessen, deshalb kann ich nur das Essen bewerten. Jedoch und gerade das Essen ist der wichtigste Punkt in einem Restaurant. Die Lieferung hat Lieferando erledigt. Gegessen haben wir: Jheenga Goa nicht scharf Chiken Tikka Masala indisch-scharf Mango Chiken indisch-scharf Wirklich sehr gut.

Super leckeres Essen zu einem sehr vernünftigen Preis, zumal bei den Hauptgerichten Reis UND Nan inbegriffen ist. Authentische Bedienung, authentisches Essen, das ist DER Inder in Freising! Sehr zu empfehlen, immer gerne wieder.

We often order take out from the Bombay. The previous order took a huge amount of time to arrive (via Lieferando). This time it was significantly faster so they listen. Food : Chicken Tikka Masala. Excellent taste, meat a little over cooked Vegetarian Thali. Very good. Huge portion Butter chicken. Again excellent spice balance and flavor but chicken a bit tough. Roti. Good but too much butter for my (European) taste. Suggestion : Order direct by phone and pick it up yourself if the current rules allow. Then they can do everything in less than 30 minutes.
