Fully homemade cuisine. Top service Exceptional (homemade) cheese Khinkali. A first Georgian restaurant for me and it really makes me want it. Congratulations and good luck

Incredibly weak... Had dinner there today, the waitress took longer to deliver the drinks than to serve the food. Wine was ordered right at the beginning, but was delivered at the end of the meal (which we of course completely skipped after that). The waitress is in completely the wrong profession. We ordered beer several times, which didn't even arrive. The waitress doesn't speak to you, just nods when you order and doesn't show up again. In the end you were looked at and treated stupidly because you didn't want to leave a tip after such an evening (understandably). The six of us were willing to pay a decent sum, but instead we had a bad birthday party that we decided to move home rather than stay there any longer. It's a real shame, a good Georgian restaurant nearby would have been more than great.

Sweet little shop with extremely friendly staff, great food (also suitable for vegetarians) and a rustic, loving atmosphere. The prices are more than fair and you really get something for your money. It was a celebration for us and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Delicious, freshly prepared food. Diverse selection of local wines! Very nice service including a little story about the dish. I'll definitely come back!

This is the first time I visit a Georgian restaurant and the food was unexpectedly impressive. To be honest, I am definitely a meat lover but if I could only order one dish on the menu, I would order the vorspeisenteller. It’s vegan but its rich flavor provides fantastic experience to your tongue. This is the best appetizer I’ve ever have so far. The grilled lamb was perfectly done, even the potatoes. And khinkali are also perfectly seasoned and incredibly satisfying. Compared to previous dishes, the Teigboot is less impressive. it’s not that this cuisine is not good but others’ are so memorable. Thanks to the vorspeisenteller, we finished four dishes with two people, actually we would like to order more but it was too late. The atmosphere is also very cozy and staffs are welcoming. They all make the dining experience more enjoyable. :)

Khachapuri, Kharcho, Khinkali were so gooooood that i wanted to stay there for a long time) Me and my wife even asked to put on Georgian music and it became even better) The atmosphere is so good - traditional music, costumes and musical instruments. Do not listen to those negative reviews as i think they are just competition. If you want to eat authentic Georgian cuisine, go here. If there were more stars i would give them all to this place🙏. I was in October and food is very delicious. Atmosphere is real Georgian and restaurant has high quality service. I suggest to visit restaurant “Kavkasia” when you visit Köln.

Must visit place in Cologne! This place feels like home for those who knows Georgian cuisine. I’ve been in many Georgian restaurants and this restaurant didn’t disappoint. The interior, food, personnel - everything was perfect. Owners of the restaurant are so nice, like I met my relatives 😁 They even put on our loveliest Georgian songs🥹 love from Kazakhstan ❤️

Visiting from America and realized this is food we've never had before! Tucked away, this spot is probably more known to locals but if you get a chance I would definitely visit! I only wish we had more time to try other items on the menu- we mostly tried dumpling type dishes which were all very savory. Most with delicious creamy cheese, I could eat this stuff everyday. Based on photos of other dishes, i know I would've enjoyed those too.

Georgian restaurant where you can also feel well served as a vegetarian. The meat dishes are also good and the service was very quick and friendly. The only small point of criticism is that in my opinion you need two courses to fill you up. But then you can try more.

Salmon nicely cooked with beetroot salad and rice. Good value for an impromptu dinner on 1st night in Cologne.

This place is wonderful and I highly recommend it! The waiter was incredibly polite and attentive. From time to time he came to our table and asked if everything was OK, and always with kindness and a smile he made suggestions about the dishes on the menu. The food itself is simply amazing: filling and delicious. I used lamb and the meat fell off the bone by itself! This is super cool! The drinks are great too, 5/5. The wines are delicate and aromatic

I was there yesterday. I can’t tell that this place isn’t absolutely not Georgian restaurant. I have been more than 100 times in Georgian restaurants. They are selling an tasteless started 18.90 euro. Common this price isn’t at Michelin star restaurants. My gf was so hungry that why we ordered this starter plate before main meal. It was totally disgusting. I payed and leave. Sorry I didn’t want write like that comment. But probably when people see point of restaurant and can go there.

To be honest, it doesn’t live up to real Georgian cuisine. Maybe German products don’t make it as tasty as in Georgia... I don’t know

Un amigo y yo tuvimos una comida muy agradable en este tranquilo restaurante a pocos minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad. Ambos comimos el plato khatchapuri de pan y queso y luego compartimos las brochetas de pollo, lavadas con una botella decente de rojo georgiano. El servicio era un poco lento, pero ese era el único problema que teníamos. En total, la factura para dos personas era de 76 €, que nos pareció casi indecentemente buena relación calidad-precio.

Khinkali were as good as in Georgia. The waiter/owner is very nice. Grillteller was absolutely delicious! I will be back!

We ate at Kaukasia this week and it was very, very tasty. The restaurant is on a quiet side street but the trip there is definitely worth it. We'd love to come back

Definitely a hidden gem (at least for us). Delicious food, friendly service. We'll surely come back many times. Room for improvement: we sometimes had to ask for things more than once, as the servers were forgetful and a bit chaotic (probably had to do with the fact that the place was full).

I do not recommend booking a table at the time when they open. Today they should be opened at 4pm (16:00), and our booking was at 16 as well. We arrived at 16:02, but everything was closed, not even lights inside the main hall. We waited for several minutes and left for a different restaurant.

A barn, not a restaurant. Khinkali was dry and tasteless. When asked to bring cognac, the girl brought red wine in glasses! To the question, what kind of circus is this? She replied that there was no cognac! Ich würde dieses schuppen niemandem empfehlen! Essen und Getränke sind so wie bedienung einfach mangelhaft und inakzeptabel!

Very nice place. The food is delicious and fresh. Despite the completely filled room, the waitresses did their job perfectly. Khinkali is delicious!

The food was quite good, but unfortunately quite expensive!

Unfortunately the service was very slow and it took us a very long time to get our food. Most of the dishes were not available and we were told that after we ordered and waited for a long time. You cannot pay by card which is very annoying and had to walk more than 20 min to find an ATM. The food was good but the experience was stressful

Everything was great, at a high level. Waiter Irakli served very well. We will definitely come back here more than once❤️

Authentic Georgian cuisine, spicy and tasty. Hard to describe because the spices are a bit special. Absolutely delicous food in a wonderful surrounding. Service was excellent and food was so well prepared. The lamb stew was amazing and of course the Katchipuri was next level good. The balance of the 3 cheeses was perfect. One of the best meals we've had in Europe!

We had a wonderful evening at Restaurant Kaukasia. The live music created a cozy atmosphere, but was a bit loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. The starter plate with various dips and the Georgian wine were excellent. The vegetarian main course with dough boats and khinkalis was very tasty and definitely recommended. Well worth the money. The service was extremely nice and helpful. All in all a lovely evening – we’d love to come back!

The only Georgian restaurant I have truly enjoyed, not just in the city but in all of Germany. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality, surrounded by an amazing interior that perfectly captured the essence of Georgia. The atmosphere was incredible, transporting me straight to Georgia with its authentic decor, cozy ambiance, interesting and unique ethnic Georgian musical instruments, and other traditional mundane objects. The food was beyond all dimensions! Every dish bursting with rich, traditional, comforting flavors that made you feel the Georgian soul. Next time I am in Cologne, I will visit again, without a doubt.

Dieses Restaurant gleicht vom Essensniveau einer Kantine oder Mensa: das Fleisch (Lamm) war sehr fettig, überbraten (vermutlich um das Fett noch essbar zu machen), das vermeintlich hausgemachte Brot wahrscheinlich vom Vortag. Gerade mit dem saftigen, frischen Essen aus Georgien hatte es nun mal nichts zu tun! Die Servicekräfte waren unbeholfen, agierten total diskoordiniert, von der herzlichen Wärme der georgischen Kultur nichts zu spüren. Das Ambiente wirkt dunkel und stickig, dazu noch extrem laute Musik, welche noch nichteinmal georgisch war, sondern international von einem deutschen Streamingsender. Das alles bei horrenden Preisen. So schlecht haben wir schon lange nicht gegessen. Aber der Wein war gut.

I really don't recommend it. Khachapuri was stale and overcooked. When the waiter asked that it shouldn’t be like this, he gave the cook’s answer “It should be like this.” I’ll attach a photo. A terrible establishment, obviously not suitable for those who appreciate normal Georgian cuisine. We went solely because of the 4.7* rating. Didn't live up to even minimal expectations!

Here you have to weigh things up. The food is delicious and the service is excellent, but the prices are at the upper limit for me.

I was looking for a Georgian restaurant in Cologne and just bumped into this gem on the way from my hotel to the center. I walked in and asked for a reservation for the same evening. We had a great dinner with my husband and kids. I am a huge fan of Georgian food and have tried it in many countries. This restaurant is a good example of a small and cosy place with great food and Georgian atmosphere. We have tried chachapuri, phkali, imeriuli and of course khinkali. It was all very delicious! Especially the khinkali - juicy and full of flavour. The waiter was super friendly. And we enjoyed our evening due to the food and his friendly service.

The food was great, but the service was only decent. Unfortunately, it took us 2 hours to receive just half of our order, and it took them 50 minutes to suggest we start with the appetizers. Although the food was delicious, we left with a very bitter experience.

Wir wollten gerne mal was Neues ausprobieren und sind auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen. Wir würden direkt freundlich begrüßt und es gab live Musik. Dann wurden wir ganz nett beraten was wir essen könnten, auch als Vegetarier hatten wir die Qual der Wahl. Das Essen war superlecker, frisch und optisch sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Die hausgemachten Teigtaschen mit Käse wären spitze. Am Ende gab es noch ein Schnäpschen aufs Haus und einen netten Plausch mit dem Besitzer. Ein rundum gelungener Abend und das Restaurant mit den freundlichen Mitarbeitern sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder oder schicken Freunde vorbei.

Really great Georgian cuisine in a quaint former Cologne beer bar. Owner Tamara Burduli also makes Khesur khinkali if you ask her in advance. The delicate Tschakapuli has spent several days in the tarragon stock and you can taste it! Definitely go!

Interesting atmosphere, food could be warmer.

The food was good but I waited more than an hour for my 5 khinkali. I didn't leave the restaurant because it was Sunday evening and I wanted to eat Georgian food.

Very nice, good and quaint Georgian restaurant, with very friendly staff. The food was excellent and lovingly prepared. The only drawback is sometimes the prices, for example €9.50 for the traditional Georgian salad, which was very good and fresh, but was more like a side salad with only vegetables, perhaps something can be adjusted at this point. Unfortunately, there are also long waiting times after ordering the food, but of course this can change over time.

What an amazing restaurant! It's the only one we visited twice during our stay in Cologne. The food selection and taste is excellent. The Georgian beer very good and refreshing. The decoration is traditional and lovely and the whole atmosphere so relaxing and homely. Lieblingsrestaurant in Köln.

Kaukasia is a small, cozy restaurant. When I was there they had live music, which was a bit loud, but it was full of Georgians and they were so happy. People started dancing as well. I had the feeling that I was in a private Georgian gathering, but I felt welcomed and as if I was among a family. As for the food.. the khachapuri and the khinkali were great. The service was good and the waiters were friendly. I will definitely come back again.

Super, everything was super in the Caucasus. We will definitely visit again. We will recommend to everyone, if you want delicious Georgian dishes at affordable prices, you should definitely visit this restaurant.

Wir sind als Köln-Touristen zufällig am "Kaukasia" vorbeigekommen und da wir vor ein paar Jahren in Georgien und vom dortigen Essen und Wein begeistert waren, sind wir in das Restaurant gegangen in der Hoffnung, authentische georgische Küche erleben zu dürfen. Wir sind nicht enttäuscht worden: Das Essen war toll, der Wein hervorragend und auch der Service des kleinen, sehr gemütlichen Restaurants war super. Ich habe in Deutschland bisher nicht besser georgisch gegessen als dort. Beim nächsten Köln-Besuch kommen wir wieder!

A pleasant Georgian experience in Cologne. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The tasting of appetizers introduces flavors to be enjoyed with Georgian red wine. Try the meat ravioli and the focaccia filled with cheese. The desserts with fruit and nuts are priceless. A cultural and culinary tradition waiting to be discovered.

It took 90 minutes for the food to arrive. The order we received was missing.

PERFECT PERFECT… I live in the Netherlands this is my third time visiting this restaurant in Koln. Wonderful atmosphere very cozy. Loved the food, staff is very nice ( especially loves to Tamar)… Definitely not my last coming, it is a great opportunity to experience the georgian culture in the middle of Europe.

It was coincidence that we visited this restaurant. The food was very tasty, there were many Georgian guests with us and we were surprised by the cuisine, which came across as very aromatic. Be sure to order khinkali and khachapuri! Highly Recommended.

Had to wait a really long time for the food: 60 minutes for the starter and then again that long for the main course. In the group, one main course came with the other starters, so that one person finished eating over an hour before the rest. But the food itself was super good!

Durch Zufall haben wir hier gegessen. Wir haben eine Grillplatte für 3 Personen bestellt. Diese war hervorragend und der Preis war vollkommen i.O. Die Bedienung am Tisch und hinter der Theke sehr freundlich. Es gab für uns nichts zu beanstanden. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Als großer Fan der georgischen Küche, der gerne auch selbst georgisch kocht - habe ich leider hier keinen Gefallen gefunden Essen - 3 Interieur- 3 - 4 Service - sehr bemüht, trotzdem nur eine 3 Wir haben folgendes bestellt Pkhali - geht so , aber schwach Auberginen röllchen- schwach, fades Geschmack Kharcho Suppe - schlechteste die ich je probiert habe, viel Fleich mit geschmackloser Brühe, sonst nicht Chinkali - 4 minus Kchapuri - 4 Wein war auch so lala, vor allem für den Preis gibt es bessere georgische Winzer Wenn man georgische Küche nie probiert hat, kann man es ruhig mal machen Für Feinschmecker ist deutlich unterdurchschnittlich Service und Geschmack haben noch ganz viel Luft nach oben. Wünsche dem Team an den schwächen fleißig zu arbeiten

Fantastisch eten, leuke bediening en gezellige sfeer.

Das Essen ist völlig georgisch gehalten und die Speisekarte besteht nur aus Georgischen Spezialitäten. Die Chefin war sehr nett und ich hatte eine tolle Konversation mit ihr. Ich habe mich hier echt gut bedient gefühlt und sehr wohl. Komme bei meinem nächsten Besuch nach Köln gerne wieder.
