Spectacular!!!! If you visit Colonia you must eat at this restaurant. They have a daily menu for 12.50 that includes a starter and a pasta dish. The tiramisu is recommended....it is the best I have tried in the world. They serve you very well and the girl knew some Spanish. The ravioli were very delicious, my daughter loved them.

We had reserved a table for 2, very pleasant and cozy. We had a 3-course menu and it was more than fine. Very tasty and nice portions! The limoncello at checkout was a nice offer. The only downside was that we were there for a really long time.

Please be very careful when ordering a wine. I ordered the “Grüner Veltliner Löss” for 30 euros. At the end of the evening the bill for the “Grüner Veltliner Rotes Tor” was 135 euros. All five people at the table could attest that I did not order this wine. The wine was presented to me outside without light, so I could only read Grüner Veltiner, by then it was already too late. The waiter told me it wasn't his fault, I had specifically ordered the expensive wine. He also said he was the manager and sold the wine several times a day and knew his stuff. Unfortunately, that was the worst experience I have ever had in Cologne. I wouldn't wish that on anyone and I hope it was an isolated case, apart from the one waiter the restaurant seems to be really good. I don't think this man was the manager, otherwise there wouldn't be so many good reviews here on Google.

Barile offers an outstanding dining experience in a charming, modern atmosphere. The service is attentive and friendly, making you immediately feel welcome. Particularly recommended is the tuna tartare, which impresses with its fresh ingredients and refined taste. The truffle pasta is also a highlight, perfectly prepared and with an intense aroma that makes every truffle heart beat faster. The wine list offers an excellent selection that complements the menu beautifully. A visit to Barile is a pleasure for all the senses - I'm already looking forward to the next time. Thank you :)

Yesterday we spent a wonderful family evening in the Barile (outdoor area). Menus can be combined, nice selection of food and drinks. Very warm, attentive staff. Thanks for the hospitality.

A great and good restaurant in the Agnesviertel, for me personally even the best in the Agnesviertel. The ambience and the quality of the food are really top. On our last visit we ate there with our 3 year old son and the waitress was very attentive and did a really good job. Even though the little one was always restless, she had a smile ready and behaved extremely professionally. Perfect 👍🏼

I celebrated my birthday at Barile yesterday and was absolutely thrilled. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was super cozy and the service was absolutely attentive and friendly. That was my first, but definitely not my last visit. Thank you for this lovely evening!

Das Essen und der Service war wirklich top. Will man allerdings ein ruhiges Restaurant, ist man hier falsch. Die Geräuschkulisse ist etwas laut. Uns hat das aber nicht stört. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

The Fioretto at this location was already our regular Italian restaurant and we also enjoyed sitting outside and eating at Barile in the summer. Unfortunately it is very loud inside. It's a shame that they have now decided that guests should eat at certain times, either from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. or from 8:30 p.m. Since we didn't feel like eating so early and spending our evening looking at the clock, nor starting with a three-course meal at such a late hour, we chose another good Italian restaurant in a district where that wasn't the case at Pentecost and left it there our money. It's a shame, we were actually looking forward to a nice evening in Barile because we were always happy there.

Toller Laden. Immer wieder gerne zu Gast. Wir waren zu fünft und hatten eine vegane und eine glutenintolerante Person dabei. Nichts davon stellte ein Problem dar. Für beide wurden Optionen zur Wahl gestellt. Der Service war tip top. Kann den Laden wirklich wärmstens empfehlen!

Fantastic experience. We went as a group of 4 friends and we greeted & treated warmly. The food was excellent. Standard was really high, service was on the same level and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. I’d definitely eat here again and recommend it.

It was a wonderful evening! You immediately felt welcome, the food was very good, and the price-performance ratio for the 3-course menu was absolutely right. Es war sehr lecker aber sehr laut. Die Location war sehr schön und das Personal sehr nett.

Weinkarte zu empfehlen, Ambiente schön, Geräuschpegel extrem hoch. Vielleicht hat der Koch einen schlechten Tag erwischt. Vorspeise: Qualität Tuna Tatar super, allerdings übertönt von Sesamöl. Hauptgang Pasta mit Fisch: Lachs zu stark durchgebraten (trocken), vermutlich Pesto aus dem Glas, fehlerhafte Aufteilung bei identischen Speisen (7 Garnelen zu 3). Nachspeise: Torta della nonna, geschmacklich gut, Konsistenz in meinen Augen zu weich. Kleiner Hinweis: Averna zukünftig bitte nicht im Schnapsglas mit reingepresster Zitrone servieren.

Wir haben den Abend rundum genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Delicious food, nice, quick service and overall a good price/performance ratio. The ambience is a successful mix of modernity and cosiness.

Excellent food, top service, attentive and pleasantly relaxed. We were there during the week and were therefore not bound to the 2-hour time slot, as with the 6 p.m. reservation on the weekend, which made the stay very relaxing. Even if it is a little more expensive than the surrounding restaurants, the food is in a different league than any pizzeria around the corner and was worth every cent!

Wir kamen etwas früher als geplant, aber das war kein Problem. Man empfing uns sehr freundlich. Das Essen war vorzüglich und der Service bestens. Wir waren im Rahmen eines kleinen Firmenevents da und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Das Essen war super, aber der Service ist dem Restaurant nicht gerecht geworden. Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von sechs Frauen da. Eine hat keinen Alkohol getrunken. Der Kellner hat sie bei Bestellungen mit kleinen „Sprüchen/Witzen“ dafür aufgezogen. Das Ganze gipfelte in der komplett übergriffigen Frage vor dem ganzen Tisch: „Oder hast du etwa ein Problem mit Alkohol?“ und dazu die Geste, als würde er sich eine Spritze in den Arm setzen. Auf den Hinweis, was so eine Frage solle, und ob er erwarte, dass jetzt jemand antworte, er/sie hätte ein Alkoholproblem, hat er geantwortet: „Is ja nich schlimm, sowas kann man ja zugeben.“ Der ganze Tisch war sprachlos. Der Kellner hatte keine Ahnung, ob wir Freundinnen oder Kolleginnen waren, ob jemand schwanger war, keine Lust auf Alkohol oder wirklich ein Suchtproblem hatte. So oder so, im Jahr 2024 sollte jedem klar sein, dass so ein Verhalten nicht witzig oder unterhaltsam, sondern komplett übergriffig ist. Zwei aus der Gesellschaft haben den Kellner nach dem Zahlen zur Seite genommen, um ihm das zu erklären. Hoffentlich lernt er draus. Solche Fragen können sonst unter Umständen riesigen Schaden bei Menschen anrichten.
