Delicious food, nice service and great ambience

Had a hut, cozy and you are on your own. Went for brunch for breakfast, the answer said "reserved until 1 p.m." which no one said and it doesn't say anywhere, the buffet will be dismantled at 11:30. In an email we were told "you could have known, after all there is lunch from 12" Dear team, write on your page from until when the buffet is open so everyone will know. If you write in the reply email by 1 p.m., no one expects to just sit there for 1.5 hours.

It's nice there, the staff isn't always that quick. When it comes to orders. I had fried sheep's cheese which, in my opinion, was fried a little too long and the fries weren't the real deal either. And for the price I would have expected a little more

Food good, but not outstanding either, in keeping with a pub. Great location on the Fehn with a terrace, but at an intersection. Cutlery with stains, dirty glass, which was quickly replaced

We were on vacation at the Ottermeer and had dinner here and were very pleased with it. We always enjoy coming here when we are on holiday here.

We were here for the culinary gourmet bike tour. And honestly...an embarrassing number. 3 pieces from the deep fryer....no dip or anything like that.... Well at least the service was very nice which justifies two stars.

Today I wanted to order a chicken burger (66) and a pork schnitzel (49) to pick up. It should cost a total of €43!!!! I find that completely exaggerated. I ordered somewhere else.

Breakfast with two people Not much can be said about the service as there is a buffet here. It is rich and has something for everyone. Sweet and savory so that everyone will find something. It was always refilled and tea and coffee were available in small pots right at the table. We really liked that. The atmosphere is relaxed.

Yesterday we went to Big Ben for dinner with a small group. The location is quaint, but also quite worn out (wobbly chairs on creaky floorboards). The food itself was "okay". The "Big Molly Burger" was barely bigger than what is served as a normal burger elsewhere. Tasteless fresh cucumber instead of pickle, plus a musty sauce, somehow the thing wasn't right. For dessert we also had spaghetti ice cream, which appeared to be served on a warm plate (perhaps fresh from the sink?). Unfortunately, it arrived at the table half melted and literally ran away. If we come to the corner again, we might just try other dishes.

A cozy restaurant with friendly staff. However, we won't go there for breakfast anymore. It was hardly refilled and due to the number of guests you are basically forced to eat piecemeal in order to get anything at all. For €22.50 per person, I personally expect a little more service. However, things are different in the evening. The food is served quickly, the portions are not too big and the drinks arrive shortly after you order!

Always a busy restaurant, the spare rips were delicious. You can easily reserve online in advance.

Say or write to you, everything sounds delicious. I haven't even been disappointed so far. Top Even the breakfast is really sufficient. And on extra requests, so if someone needs it, you get it. Thumbs up again. Very friendly service. :-) :-) :-) Top The atmosphere in Big Ben is great. Really comfortable for anyone who likes it Likes “English style”. Price-performance ratio is right. Top Unfortunately I didn't find a disabled toilet there. A pity As written above, that is my very personal impression of Big Ben. :-) :-) :-) Just try it out yourself. The atmosphere is great and cozy for my taste. I ordered the pan to eat, kinners for 25 euros, such a small portion, more potatoes than meat, 3 very small pieces of meat... I was disappointed... This dish needs an overhaul

We had breakfast there on the weekend, which was generally a nice thing, but in my opinion some things were too early or too quick, e.g. B. Croissants etc empty, but still a nice thing in Wiesmoor.

Good morning, Very nice staff, everyone tried to make sure you were well. People checked regularly and asked if you needed anything. Unfortunately it was so crowded today that the volume to entertain was so loud that it was a bit difficult.

Today was our first but certainly not the last time there for a gourmet breakfast! It was great! Such a huge selection, that's why we have to come back again!!! We were very excited!!! And the staff was extremely friendly and attentive!!! Thanks!!!!

A place you'll want to come back to again and again. Whether for breakfast, for coffee with cake, for dinner or just for a nice drink. When the temperatures are warm, you can also enjoy it on the terrace.

The sushi is prepared quickly and very tasty. The girl who takes the orders is very friendly and nice. The kitchen is open, you can watch the chefs at work, they all look very neat. The design of the restaurant is modern and very nice, lots of space and very good extractor hoods in the kitchen - the room smells good. Serving the order looks lovely. Very nice place, would recommend a visit.

Went with my wife for breakfast on Wednesday. For 13.90 or 12.90€ for the money I wouldn't have had more anywhere else, nothing sensible! The cafe was ok for bread rolls, we had to run after them every hour. There were 6-8 mini rolls that were gone in just one bite! Very disappointing! Once and never again !

We have been to Big Ben several times with large groups and have always felt very comfortable in the cozy restaurant. The location right on the water, with idyllic seating outside in the summer. The service is warm and attentive. The food is good, with a great price-performance ratio. There is a larger parking space outside so you don't have to search. We would like to come again.

We are really lucky to have such a great restaurant here in the middle of Wiesmoor. The burgers are absolutely great, the ambience is great and the service has been very good every time. I can highly recommend Big Ben.

The ambience is very good, I have to say. The staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, I have to say that the food wasn't that great... The burger had hardly any taste and the hash browns were out of the packaging... Sorry, but for the prices I expect reasonable food and nothing out of a bag. I can have that at home too... For us it was definitely the last time we were there.

Unfriendly service. Waited an hour for food. Meat was raw on the inside, fries were cold. Had to give it back. The boss (?) came to our table and said that we will get new burgers in 10 minutes. Waited again. 20 minutes later the waitress suggested canceling the meal. We did that too. What a kick out, unbelievable! We're talking about burgers and fries (16 euros per portion), which posed such challenges to Big Ben. The boss (?) then gave us a 30% discount on the bill. We have eaten there many times, but after this experience we will of course avoid it in the future. The price-performance ratio is not right at all (anymore).

Waited 1 hour for food (burger). Then the meat was still raw and the fries were cold. The children's meal was ok. After we pointed this out, we were told to get new burgers within 10 minutes. receive. After half an hour, a non-friendly waitress said they could also cancel. So canceled. The boss then waived 30% of the bill and apologized. I think he thought, they won't come back anyway, why should I do the bugs again. It really wasn't nice. My children are regular customers there. It was my first time there and I was disappointed.

Great gluten free burgers and gluten free breakfast! Great for allergy sufferers. Lots of options and children are very welcome!

Cozy location on the canal in Wiesmor. The service ladies were very friendly. We had the Big Ben Burger with fries and the Crispy Burger with sweet potato fries. The food is relatively expensive but tastes consistently good. We will definitely come again.

On a Saturday evening I waited almost 1 1/2 hours for soup and another 40 minutes for my schnitzel. Something like that is cheeky, no matter how full the store is.

Also manchmal etwas chaotisch, aber sehr liebe Bedienung, mit dem Chef kann man reden, aber ist immer gut besucht und eben Norddeutsch.

Wieder super. Die Pizza ist sehr lecker. Mein Lieblingsrestaurant. Einfach schön...

Wir waren - wie schon häufiger - mal wieder im Big Ben. Wie immer war das Essen sehr lecker. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das "hausgemachte Erfrischungsgetränk" kann ich sehr empfehlen. Lasst euch überraschen.

Leider mussten wir fasst 1 Std .warten auf unser Essen, da sehr viel Kundschaft und zu wenig Personal. Aber das Personal war superfreundlich und das Essen hat allen gut geschmeckt

Das Ambiente sowie der Service ist super. Old English halt. Im Sommer ist es richtig toll, draußen am Wasser zu sitzen. Wir kommen seit 11 Jahren im Sommer immer nach Wiesmoor in Urlaub und sind auch das ein oder andere mal om Big Ben aber das mit den Burgerpattys hat sich nicht geändert. Die sollten medium sein. Bisher waren sie leider immer durch. Aber wir kommen trotzdem wieder weil es halt immer wieder gut schmeckt

Toll würde ich jeden raten da mal zu Essen. Und wir wahren alle drei sehr zufrieden obwohl der Laden voll wahr man konnte sich sehr gut unterhalten. Das wahr nicht das letzte mal das wir da wahren.

Das Frühstücksbufett kann ich nur empfehlen. Service top.

Sehr schönes Buffet. Es gab alles was man sich hierbei wünscht. Besonders angetan war ich von denn kleinen Brötchen wodurch ich selbst als eher schlechter Frühstücker ordentlich viel Probieren konnte.

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant und wirklich leckeres Essen. Die Fingerfood Platte für 2 (Vorspeise) ist sehr lecker! Der Burger und die Ofenkartoffel Super zubereitet und der Salat schmeckt! Das Restaurant ist schick & sauber . Der Service ist gut.👍

Wir waren zum Frühstücks Büfett dort und es war nicht das letzte Mal. Auch wenn es sehr voll war ...war der Service freundlich und schnell. Ich kann es weiterempfehlen.

Waren am Sonntag hier, die Luft war etwas raus bei den Angestellten, kein Vorwurf. Gewünschter Sitzplatz war reserviert, kam aber ganzen Abend keiner. Lachs war nicht zuerst nicht durch, wurde schnell, freundlich und professionell i.O. gebracht. Ansonsten wie immer top.

Frühstück / Brunch war wieder super und von allem genug da. Die kleinen, selbstgebackenen Brötchen sind immer wieder total lecker...Jederzeit wieder...😉

Waren mit 5 Personen dort essen. 3 mal gab es Pommes mit Schnitzel( war ganz ok und die Menge war ausreichend) nur leider kam das Schnitzel auch aus der Fritteuse. Dazu gab es Kiba 0,4 davon waren leider 0,2 Eiswürfel ( nicht so dolle) Außerdem gab es noch einen Burger mit 300g Rindfleisch.( das petti war leider nur lauwarm und der Bacon hatte keine Farbe und schmeckte nach nix.) Und dann gab es noch einen Veganen Burger der im großen und ganzen völlig okay war. Pommes schmecken super, Süßkartoffel-Pommes auch. Preise für Essen und Getränke finde ich angemessen.Ambiente ist okay sowie der Service. Leider werden wir nicht wieder einkehren, da es leider nicht so unseren Geschmack entspricht.

Die Auswahl am Frühstücksbüfett ist reichhaltig. Es fehlt an nichts. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Das esse war soweit ok.... Aber im großen und ganzen.... der Service leicht überfordert und mal ganz ehrlich..... die Preise sind schon echt ne Nummer. Ja ok.... alles ist teurer geworden... Aber man muß es doch nicht übertreiben
