Nice restaurant with delicious food. Service is very nice and attentive.

What can I say? Simply great food, ambience, service!!

Yesterday we had dinner at Big Ben with 6 people. We had reserved one of the barrels. We were all completely thrilled. Whether it was the food, the service, the entire ambience...everything was absolutely perfect and the staff were without exception very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely recommend the restaurant and it certainly won't be the last time there. Thank you for a wonderful evening

Unfortunately we are very disappointed. The shop was manageably full, three service staff were working, but after we got our food, some of which was unfortunately cold, we weren't served any further. We would have liked to eat more.

Am 25.September2024 - abgewiesen in einer anderen Lokalität des Ortes - stand ich nach kurzer telefonischer "Androhung" mit 33 Personen zum Mittagessen vor dem Big Ben in Wiesmoor. Ein Lokalteil wurde uns zugewiesen, in wenigen Minuten die Bestellungen aufgenommen, nach kurzer Zeit kam optisch gut aussehend und vor allem gut schmeckend das Essen, freundlich und ohne Hektik serviert. Alle Gäste waren begeistert und nach nicht einmal 70 Minuten konnten wir gesättigt unsere Fahrt fortsetzen. Dank aus Brandenburg und solche Freundlichkeit möchte ich an Big Ben, die Große Glocke hängen. Anne K.

Went there for the first time yesterday. The food was okay but now about the service. So I don't mind if you're stressed because there's a lot going on, etc. We're very accommodating... but rushing to get to our place is impossible. There wasn't much going on, but we just wanted to let the lady know that we had made a reservation (so that the reservation could be checked off/removed if necessary). While I was saying this, she interrupted me in a loud tone and almost literally shouted at us “We should just choose a place, the people outside were all already looking & it was so incredibly uncomfortable. As I said, I don't have a problem when things are stressful and everyone has a bad day sometimes but there was hardly anything going on and the tone. Crazy...so anyone who behaves like that and gets rude and loud shouldn't work in customer service. Unfortunately for us this is also the reason not to come back.

Very good food, friendly staff, we felt very comfortable, dogs are allowed in too.

Food used to be better. Tarte flambée didn't have much on it anymore and was now very expensive. Too bad.

We ended up in this restaurant by chance and were absolutely surprised and very satisfied. From the very beginning we were warmly welcomed by all the staff and given very good advice when ordering food. Since we were a group of 10 people, there were of course a variety of dishes. But all the dishes were very well received and tasted really delicious. Everything was perfect and overall, with what I consider to be a top price-performance ratio, a clear recommendation to come back.

Meiner Meinung nach stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bei den Speisen nicht. Die Portionen sind bei den Preisen definitiv zu klein. An der Anrichtung des Essens sollte auch nochmal gearbeitet werden. Der Burger + Cocktail waren dennoch lecker. Von meiner Seite jedoch keine klare Weiterempfehlung

Highly recommended, great price/performance (approx. 15 euros per person), great ambience, lots of parking spaces and very child-friendly. The sanitary facilities are very clean. We'd love to come back.

We've been wanting to go to this restaurant for a long time and finally got it. It was a special highlight. Extremely attentive, friendly and cheerful service (10 stars). Really good food (we had leek cream soup, burgers, hash browns, spare ribs, currywurst and baked pineapple) which were very tasty and also beautifully prepared (the eye eats with it 😉). We catch the team for the lovely evening. This was definitely not our last visit!!

We were invited to the breakfast buffet in a group of 15 people and we sat at the top left of the toilet door. It was very warm that day and unfortunately there was no fresh air coming into the corner, even though the windows were open.

Very nice service, delicious food and a nice atmosphere. There is also a nice outdoor terrace for eating.

We waited quite a long time for the drinks.

Not only was our order forgotten to be placed due to a very low number of visitors, no, the whole visit remains a negative memory for all three of us. The meat from the double hamburger was unevenly cooked and over-seasoned. The portion of fries is too small and the prices are too high. The music was too loud. We usually only pay over 90 euros for 3 people in upscale restaurants. But Big Ben won't get a second chance, we're sure of that. There are other restaurants nearby.

We visited as a family of 4 at the weekend. The waitress was very unfriendly and almost annoyed. Not a smile, not a word too many and all in one tone... The food itself was great! Unfortunately it arrived so late that my husband had to eat alone.

The food was freshly prepared and tasted very good, seating inside and outside and a nice ambience with lots of details. We really liked it!

The food was good, the service was nice and it was super cozy! What more do you want??

When ordering, we kindly pointed out to the waitress that four pages were missing from the menu. Then just a dry aha. I was served a completely melted spaghetti ice cream. When I ate it, coffee and cake came for my wife and son. It's a shame, I always enjoyed coming to visit!

Delicious food, nice service, unfortunately one star less because the road through the town is quite dense. Otherwise everything is perfect.

It's a shame that after waiting 15:00 minutes, the waitress threw the menu on the table and when we asked her if we could order something to drink, she said she would be right there. When after another 15:00 minutes there was still no one there, we got up and left.

The food, we were hungry for burgers, was very good. FYI: There are even 2 vegetarian versions. The service was remarkable. Friendly and attentive, we like it very much. 6 stars for the service 😍

This is the second time (!) that we have not been served food as ordered. Paid for drinks and left. Never again.

Staff very cheeky!!! Food was very hard & dry at 8.30pm no compensation. "KITCHEN WOULD BE CLOSED" The staff said in original words “She would have thought that it would look hard when she brought it too” 🤔 Find the mistake boss.

Cocktail was without taste. Food took 1 hour. Chicken crispy were extremely dry. No service staff to be seen. When complained at 9 p.m. open until 11 p.m. they said the kitchen couldn't do anything anymore. Sue can have a schnapps or 1 piece of cake. Outrageous Leaving a guest sitting hungry and having to pay while the service person who brought the food said afterwards that I saw that it looked very dry. NEVER anything like this again.

Sitting by the water, coffee and cake. For me one of my most popular destinations on my tours. The price is just affordable, but you get delicious coffee and cake. The breakfast also leaves nothing to be desired.

Absolute service desert 🌵 An order was placed on the phone for pickup where there was a number turner with an order. The dish that was actually requested was called (chicken wings) and instead there was a salad for 12 euros. Since both sides slept here, I find it quite telling from a gastronomic point of view that they insist on charging the salad in full and also charging for the wing that was also ordered. As a regular visitor, a bad aftertaste. Was our last visit

Had a hut, cozy and you are on your own. Went for brunch for breakfast, the answer said "reserved until 1 p.m." which no one said and it doesn't say anywhere, the buffet will be dismantled at 11:30. In an email we were told "you could have known, after all there is lunch from 12" Dear team, write on your page from until when the buffet is open so everyone will know. If you write in the reply email by 1 p.m., no one expects to just sit there for 1.5 hours.

It's nice there, the staff isn't always that quick. When it comes to orders. I had fried sheep's cheese which, in my opinion, was fried a little too long and the fries weren't the real deal either. And for the price I would have expected a little more

Food good, but not outstanding either, in keeping with a pub. Great location on the Fehn with a terrace, but at an intersection. Cutlery with stains, dirty glass, which was quickly replaced

Very nice gastro pub with a wide range of food and drinks. Drink selection. Indoor and outdoor. Centrally located, very good parking.

We were on vacation at the Ottermeer and had dinner here and were very pleased with it. We always enjoy coming here when we are on holiday here.

We were here for the culinary gourmet bike tour. And honestly...an embarrassing number. 3 pieces from the deep fryer....no dip or anything like that.... Well at least the service was very nice which justifies two stars.

I feel very comfortable in Big Ben.

Today I wanted to order a chicken burger (66) and a pork schnitzel (49) to pick up. It should cost a total of €43!!!! I find that completely exaggerated. I ordered somewhere else.

Breakfast with two people Not much can be said about the service as there is a buffet here. It is rich and has something for everyone. Sweet and savory so that everyone will find something. It was always refilled and tea and coffee were available in small pots right at the table. We really liked that. The atmosphere is relaxed.

A cozy restaurant with friendly staff. However, we won't go there for breakfast anymore. It was hardly refilled and due to the number of guests you are basically forced to eat piecemeal in order to get anything at all. For €22.50 per person, I personally expect a little more service. However, things are different in the evening. The food is served quickly, the portions are not too big and the drinks arrive shortly after you order!

Always a busy restaurant, the spare rips were delicious. You can easily reserve online in advance.

Yesterday we went to Big Ben for dinner with a small group. The location is quaint, but also quite worn out (wobbly chairs on creaky floorboards). The food itself was "okay". The "Big Molly Burger" was barely bigger than what is served as a normal burger elsewhere. Tasteless fresh cucumber instead of pickle, plus a musty sauce, somehow the thing wasn't right. For dessert we also had spaghetti ice cream, which appeared to be served on a warm plate (perhaps fresh from the sink?). Unfortunately, it arrived at the table half melted and literally ran away. If we come to the corner again, we might just try other dishes.

Kein einziges englisches Bier, keine freie Platzwahl (wir wurden auf drei freie Plätze verwiesen, da die anderen für den Folgetag eingedeckt wurden) sehr mittelmäßige Cocktails. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Say or write to you, everything sounds delicious. I haven't even been disappointed so far. Top Even the breakfast is really sufficient. And on extra requests, so if someone needs it, you get it. Thumbs up again. Very friendly service. :-) :-) :-) Top The atmosphere in Big Ben is great. Really comfortable for anyone who likes it Likes “English style”. Price-performance ratio is right. Top Unfortunately I didn't find a disabled toilet there. A pity As written above, that is my very personal impression of Big Ben. :-) :-) :-) Just try it out yourself. The atmosphere is great and cozy for my taste. I ordered the pan to eat, kinners for 25 euros, such a small portion, more potatoes than meat, 3 very small pieces of meat... I was disappointed... This dish needs an overhaul

Wir waren erst Ostern zum frühstücken dort, das war auch recht gut. Nun in der Woche katastrophal. An die kleinen aufgebackenen Brötchen hat man sich ja schon gewöhnt, aber wenn die noch steinhart sind,vergeht einem der Appetit. Das natürlich nicht die Auswahl wie am Wochenende vorhanden ist wie z.b Fischplatte erwartet ja keiner. Aber nur steinharte Brötchen, eine Wurstplatte und eine Käseplatte und dann wars das schon im groben. Kein Obstsalat, keine gekochten Eier, kein Smothie, keine Panncakes...Echt enttäuschend...und der Preis wurde auch gleich um drei Euro erhöht....Sollte man auf der Homepage auch aktualisieren. Also dann lieber zum Bäcker frühstücken, da bekommt man zumindest frische Brötchen.

We had breakfast there on the weekend, which was generally a nice thing, but in my opinion some things were too early or too quick, e.g. B. Croissants etc empty, but still a nice thing in Wiesmoor.

Good morning, Very nice staff, everyone tried to make sure you were well. People checked regularly and asked if you needed anything. Unfortunately it was so crowded today that the volume to entertain was so loud that it was a bit difficult.

Today was our first but certainly not the last time there for a gourmet breakfast! It was great! Such a huge selection, that's why we have to come back again!!! We were very excited!!! And the staff was extremely friendly and attentive!!! Thanks!!!!

A place you'll want to come back to again and again. Whether for breakfast, for coffee with cake, for dinner or just for a nice drink. When the temperatures are warm, you can also enjoy it on the terrace.

The sushi is prepared quickly and very tasty. The girl who takes the orders is very friendly and nice. The kitchen is open, you can watch the chefs at work, they all look very neat. The design of the restaurant is modern and very nice, lots of space and very good extractor hoods in the kitchen - the room smells good. Serving the order looks lovely. Very nice place, would recommend a visit.
