Restaurant Bellissima in Münster

Honestly, I'm always completely impressed every time I eat there. You're greeted warmly and always with a smile as soon as you walk in the door. The staff, whether front of house or kitchen, are incredibly friendly, and the food is always fantastic. Even with large groups where orders are placed individually, the food is served almost simultaneously, which I've never experienced anywhere else. Simply outstanding and highly recommended. My favorite restaurant in Münster. ❤️

Celina and Francesco are the best thing that could have happened to Kinderhaus.

Very cozy atmosphere, superb Italian food, we were there with our team (about 20 people), table reserved in advance, we will definitely come back.

We were a group of about 20 at Belissima. The food was delicious and arrived quickly and almost simultaneously, despite individual orders. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We had a lovely evening.

Good quality pizza for an affordable price, friendly waiters with a nice sense of humor and they create a good atmosphere.

We spontaneously decided to go there on a Friday evening and were very happy to get a table for two at short notice. The staff were very friendly and tried their best. However, they seemed a bit overwhelmed by the number of guests and unfortunately made us wait quite a while. The bruschetta special was delicious! The pizzas, unfortunately, were hard and almost completely cold. Based on the many positive reviews, we suspect this was due to the busy time of day.

We, as long-time residents of Kinderhaus, and our visitors from Düsseldorf were very satisfied. Comfortable seating, very attentive staff, and excellent pizza. We will gladly return. Update 09/12/2025: When our international guests asked for a restaurant recommendation, we sent them to Bellissima—a couple from Pretoria, South Africa; a couple from Albuquerque, New Mexico; and many from Germany. Upon inquiry, we received unanimous feedback: "A fantastic restaurant with truly authentic Italian cuisine and wonderful hosts." We are happy to pass on this praise.

I've been there twice, and both times it was a flop, to put it mildly! I'll never go back. Everyone was super nice, but they didn't have the simplest things. And the pizzas were awful. Mine was incredibly greasy; the grease was just running off. I sent it back and went home hungry…

We were there last night. The pasta with porcini mushrooms and strips of filet mignon served in a Parmesan wheel was excellent, and we also had three pizzas – all with delicious toppings and perfect crusts – everything was top-notch – a real treat for the children's center 💛❤️🤍

Bellissima has a rich history: Opened by Deniz with the support of my old, now sadly deceased friend Peppino – one of Münster's most renowned Italian restaurateurs, who opened the first pizzeria in Avignon in the 1970s – the establishment initially experienced changing owners and fluctuating quality. But today, under the management of Francesco and Celina, it has become a true little gem. Upon arrival, you're greeted with a warm handshake; the atmosphere is informal, child-friendly, and stylish at the same time. The seating is very pleasant both inside and outside. The cuisine impresses with consistently high quality, fair prices, and a harmonious selection: Vitello Tonato (€13.90), Gamberetti all'Aglio (€15.50), Spaghetti Aglio Olio (€10.50), Tagliatelle Tartufo with truffle (€17.90), and the Insalata Bellissima with goat cheese (€11.90) are just a few examples. Pizzas are also well represented – such as the Pizza Bellissima with buffalo mozzarella, arugula, and balsamic cream (€15.90) ​​or the Pizza Inferno with spicy salami and pepperoni (€14.50). In addition, there are always fresh daily specials from the fish and meat selections that break the mold – whether involtini or, currently, a surprisingly sophisticated salmon burger. The latter is almost never found on Italian menus – a creative idea that further sharpens the culinary profile. Add to that a solid wine selection, complementary desserts, and fair children's portions starting at €6.50 – all at prices that are more than reasonable for the quality offered. In conclusion: Bellissima is a place where atmosphere, hospitality, creative cuisine, and value for money come together perfectly. For me, one of the most charming Italian restaurants in Münster. Bravissimo, bellissima!

This was our second time here and we'll definitely be back. Authentic Italian cuisine, excellent! My recommendation: spaghetti aglio eolio and the grilled prawns 😋 a dream! Service is excellent, friendly, and attentive. They cater to guests' individual needs.

We spontaneously came to this restaurant on a Thursday evening and received a friendly welcome. In addition to the regular menu, we were also given daily specials. Everyone will probably find something they like here. We chose vitello tonnato for our starter. It was excellent. We've rarely had such a good meal. For the main course, we each had a pizza. The crust was fantastic. Thin and crispy, and simply delicious. We'll definitely be back. It was a lovely evening.

For about two weeks now... A very nice young couple with Italian roots (as are the Italian employees) offers delicious, fresh Italian cuisine in a pleasant, tastefully decorated restaurant, as well as very good espresso, grappa, etc. I've tried a few things here and haven't been disappointed yet. A place where "you" like to spend your free time and enjoy yourself. It's been almost a year since it opened. After my one-year experience (I eat here regularly), nothing has changed for the worse. The food and drink are still very good quality, and the service is always friendly and fast! ... which is also due to the kitchen staff; they do a top-notch job, with attention to detail for both the eye and the palate. I'm wondering if I'm exaggerating... NOOOOO... it's okay.

We celebrated our children's communion there and were absolutely delighted. The food was delicious, and the service was always prompt. Simply perfect all around. Super friendly.

Very nice service, but unfortunately the pizza was very soft in terms of dough and barely crispy. Really could have stayed in the oven longer....it's a shame....

Delicious food, friendly service

This was our regular pizzeria for years before the change of ownership; for us it was the best pizzas in Münster. Unfortunately, the quality has declined, the pizzas no longer have the usual thin and crispy base and taste a little less spicy. Still good pizzas, but no longer outstanding. The pizzas are cheaper now, but I would be willing to pay more if the quality increased again. I hope that things will get better over time. Edit: The pizza is TOP again, now a full five stars :-)

Very friendly, we ordered to be picked up, but it looked very comfortable and high quality. A visit to the site is being planned and the food was delicious.

The vegan(!) dough for the pizza tastes very, very good on the edge. However, the pizza is not crispy in the middle or not quite as tasty compared to the edge. The surface was perfect and overall (very) good. The others also enjoyed the visit. However, opinions about the pizza varied. We'll definitely come back again.

Successful all around!!! After the friendly welcome, a good wine recommendation! When ordering, other dishes of the day that were not on the menu were mentioned! The lamb fillet mentioned turned out to be a real delicacy: really fillet (not a strand of leg or back piece), excellently seasoned and grilled to the second (not fried), well rosé on the inside and perfectly juicy: it was brilliant! Keep it up!!!

We ordered takeout. We received a very friendly welcome at the specified pickup time and were able to easily pay for our order by card. There was a small drink while we waited. The pizza was hot and extremely tasty. We'll be back, probably with a seat too! 😃

I was last here when the predecessor with a different name was still active. In this respect, the location was well known to me, and the menu hasn't changed drastically, but you can still notice the difference. It tasted very good, the service was also very friendly, and my special request for the starter was met without any problems. I'd love to come back.

Ordered a table for 2 and looked forward to a lovely meal. Expectations were absolutely not disappointed. Warm welcome from the junior boss upon our arrival. The restaurant appears warm, well-kept and clean. If you had any questions about the different dishes, what they were was explained straight away. For the starter we chose classic antipasti. Good thing we only ordered it once for both of us. Such a generous portion and sooooo delicious. There are definitely variations that not everyone knows about! With the bread included, it was almost a full meal for the two of us. We thought it was great that we were able to take a short break and only continue when we signaled to the great service staff. There was also time for a grappa and Italian herb schnapps in between. I gave a quick thumbs up signal and almost 10 minutes later the main course arrived. Swordfish with paccheri, eggplant and cherry tomatoes as well as homemade ravioli with spinach and ricotta filling in tomato cream sauce and salmon. A real taste experience! We were thrilled! There was no room for dessert, but we are sure that it would taste great too. We had, somewhat unusually, beer and Aperol with our meal, but a look at the wine list promises something to suit every taste. At the end, our great service staff served us a round of grappa and herbs on the house. Nice gesture! If we manage to do it with our program, we'll eat there again tomorrow. Great place!!!!

Ate there today for the first time since the new operating couple recently opened. Very warm, charismatic boss and friendly, fast service. We all really enjoyed it! We'd love to come back!
