Restaurant Belgrad in Neumünster

We were just passing through and therefore came here rather by chance. But we weren't disappointed. The owner was very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Super friendly service and very tasty food at fair prices 👌🏻

First and foremost, the outstanding taste of our meals was remarkable: two meat skewers with fries instead of rice, and another with fried potatoes. These were served with a yogurt cream (?) and a red onion, garlic, and chili dressing, both of which were extremely well-seasoned and indescribably delicious. The meat was very tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and grilled to perfection. The fries were also remarkably seasoned and pleasantly crispy. I must also give special mention to the delicious flavor of the fried potatoes, which were made with a special smoked bacon with a robust aroma. Before and after the meal, we were offered a small liqueur. The beer and cola were well-chilled, and the service was very courteous, friendly, and attentive. The tables were neatly set, and the restrooms were clean and free of any unpleasant lingering odors. The building and interior are a bit dated, but the seating is comfortable, and despite the restaurant being busy, conversation is perfectly possible. For me, the perfect food, the excellent staff, and the cleanliness/orderliness are what truly matter, so I didn't rate the ambiance.

October 11, 2025 - My subjective opinion: The food was delicious! The prices are reasonable. The service was excellent! Because of a neighboring company party, we were offered a quieter area. The ambiance isn't exactly modern anymore, but it's still very cozy. We'd love to come back!

Absolutely fantastic! The Belgrade restaurant is a true gem. We went there for dinner and were absolutely thrilled. The food was simply sensational – the meat was incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned, the portions were generous, and everything tasted wonderfully authentic. The service was excellent from start to finish: very attentive, friendly, and courteous. You immediately felt welcome and at ease. The atmosphere is also very cozy and invites you to linger. A perfect evening and an unconditional 5-star recommendation! We will definitely be back soon!

Very quickly prepared, super tasty, great service

We were there today for the first and last time. The ambiance is positive as it's very nice to be able to sit outside. We received a friendly welcome, which is why it's given one star, and the Julischka was also very tasty. The food arrived within a reasonable time and was hot. The sauces only came after we asked for them, which is okay, it happens. I ordered a large Spezi and they brought a small one. It's not a big deal as you can order another one unless you're ignored. When it came to the Räuberskeiß (robber's skewer), I unfortunately searched in vain for the fillet that was advertised among the rather dry, tough neck. My husband's liver was very tender but very neutrally seasoned. Oh well, I did pay for a large Spezi, but I saw it too late. The positive thing is that we have more Yugoslavian restaurants in NMS.

The food is very good, the portions are very generous, the sauces are delicious and served separately, which I personally prefer, so nothing gets soggy. The service was very good, and the staff were always willing to have a chat. It's best to make a reservation in advance. But it definitely won't be our last time there.

The food and service were really top. I lived in the Balkans for a few years and find the cuisine to be very authentic. I really enjoyed the grill plate. I have to say that I ate the best ajvar there, better than my Croatian and Serbian friends at home. The owner took great care of me and I'm just happy to have dared to come in. There were a lot of "Yugos" inside - this is always a good sign. Food and service were both a 5/5. The ambience is old-fashioned, but the bathroom is fresh and everything is clean and makes a good impression. I always check that first before ordering food. Will definitely stop by again!

Nice, well-known restaurant. Very clean. Friendly and welcoming staff. Good food. Extensive menu. Suitable for both seniors and children. The Julischka (a traditional German beer) you get after your meal can be purchased in three different bottle sizes. I'd be happy to go again.

I've been going to the Belgrad restaurant in Neumünster every now and then for several years, and I'm always impressed. The service is always very friendly and courteous; I haven't had a single problem in over 10 years. Quite the opposite; the service is consistently perfect, at least in my experience. The food is great, and there's plenty of it for the money you pay. And if you can't manage it, which has happened to me twice already, you can ask for it to be wrapped. I've experienced restaurants either not doing this at all or, almost disgustedly, leaving you with a wrapper and you have to shovel it into it yourself. Here, it's done without batting an eyelid. I also like the Julischka, which you get both upon arrival and departure. It's so delicious that yesterday I bought a whole bottle of the restaurant's homemade "Belgrade Gold" (1 liter!), for a fee, of course. ;-) I'm looking forward to many more delicious visits. Stay the way you are! <3

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food. They charged more, which is okay, but the portions are smaller and the meat dry. When I asked what kind of salad I was getting, I was told it was the one they gave me as a side dish, only a larger one (iceberg lettuce, cucumber slices, carrot slices, and the vinegar-pickled white cabbage) with only the dressing and a few turkey strips. As far as I know, you can't get that anywhere else, even in Neumünster. I'll be spending my money elsewhere in the future.

Went there spontaneously last night and left more than happy and full! The food, service and ambience is excellent. A lot of it is homemade, incredibly tasty and the employees are courteous, familiar and, above all, happy! A family business where you felt very well looked after. We will definitely come back!

The dishes were excellent, the steak was on point, as requested. Grill plate also has super juicy pieces of meat. As always, it was to be expected. The service was great as always, super friendly and attentive. Price-performance ratio is completely fine 👍 I'll always come back.

Nach der Rückreise am 28.12.2023 aus der Eifel, ganz spontan im Belgrad Restaurant angerufen und man hat uns in wenigen Minuten einen Tisch für 4 Personen reserviert. Ambiente, Essen und der Service waren erste Klasse. Kann ich nur empfehlen...wir haben beschlossen jeden Monat uns einmal dort vorzustellen und uns mit ganz tollem verwöhnen zu lassen. Super leckere Essen, sehr gut gewürzt, sehr gute Qualität, große Portionen. Der Service ist Spitze, herzlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Preise sind angemessen. Man kann auch super draußen sitzen. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten am Wochenende. Wir werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen.

Unser erstes kulinarisches Vergnügen im Belgrad. Ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. Vor dem Restaurant eine sehr gut überdachte Aussenterrasse mit Sitzplätzen, ideal auch für die Raucherfraktion. Im Eingangsbereich wurden wir freundlich und herzlich empfangen, unser reservierte Tisch zugewiesen. Hübsch eingedeckter Tisch, waren sie im Innenbereich alle. Der Service war erstklassig, sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Getränke kamen recht zügig. Essensbestellung mit Extrawünschen gar kein Problem. Meine Leber war foodporn, zart, saftig, lecker! Wer gegrillte Rinderleber so gut hinbekommt, kann nur viele Sterne bekommen. Wir (4 Personen) waren allesamt mit unserem Speis&Trank zufrieden. Julischka incl aufs Haus. Ambiente bisl altbackschn. Wer Rüschengardinen mag, perfekt, tut dem Restaurant, Service und Essen keinen Abbruch. Übrigens, hier kocht die Chefin selbst, erfuhren wir. Wir kommen gern wieder! Es gab für uns beide Gegrillte Rinderleber und ein Grillteller. Unsere Begleitung hatten Medaillons und Hacksteak mit Käse gefüllt. Knackige, croshe Pommes, zartes saftiges Fleisch.

Super Essen. Hier sind die Portionen echt gut und der Preis ist okay.

Wir sind immer wieder gern dort. Das Essen ist Weltklasse und der Service unvergleichlich gut. Selbst unser 10 Monate alter Sohn bekommt dort immer etwas tolles und wird super lieb integriert. Wir kommen jedes Mal gern dorthin.

Top Restaurant. Bekam einen sehr appetitlichen Grillteller mit Salat und zweierlei Dipp. Der eine war scharf aber nicht ungenießbar. Es war ein super Erlebnis. Komme gerne wieder. Freundliche Bedienung und musste kaum auf mein Essen warten. Und mit großer Cola 20 Euro bezahlt. Der Daumen hoch....
