Restaurant Axion-Delphi in Weil am Rhein

War das erste mal mit meinen Kollegen dort. Das Essen war super und lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Die Gaststätte kann man weiter empfehlen.

Echt Grieks restaurant, top gastvrijheid en top bediening. Menu kaart is uitgebreid en heeft echt voor een ieder wat wils. Aandachtspunt, het eten was zeer zout, eigenlijk te zout. Dit aangegeven maar werd niet mee gedaan.jammer

Very cozy restaurant, where we had a delicious meal. The mixed grill was very good and there was a lot of it! The service was very service-oriented and very smooth. We thought it was a big drawback that smoking was allowed on the outdoor terrace. It's not nice to have to deal with someone else's stench during dinner.

The food and the rooms were good 👍.

Beautiful place, comfortable, extensive menu of fish, meat, vegetarian. The plates are plentiful, but the prices match. The starters are particularly expensive (almost 9th for 6 slices of grilled eggplant) and the plates at no less than 23rd. The welcome is however pleasant, some servers speak a little French and the restaurant is quite spacious.

Parking = Good Price/performance = top We were there spontaneously after the store opened and there were already a few customers there, so the store must be good. What can I say, it was great :)

To my surprise, the Delphi was no longer at its old location in Weil am Rhein, but had been at its new location in Haltingen for years. The new name of the restaurant is Axion.

I was there with a customer and on the terrace it was almost like being on holiday in Greece. The whole team is friendly and attentive. The food is superbly prepared and - how could it be otherwise - meat-heavy. But that's exactly why I'm going there. Keep it up.

very arrogant and bad attitude service . They accepted group reservation and advanced payment and they said they don’t know our group coming . The whole time the service attitude really bad . As a tour leader everytime talk to the service making order for my clients , the service make the arrogant face. In the end we spend more than half hour to make the payment ! I try to explain the service we are a travel agency group . I can’t wait more . Because people have schedule they have other visit plan to go and there is extra payment for the bus etc. for the reason I have to ask make us the payment asap please . And they say they don’t know “my culture “ what is my culture , and what is your culture ? Where is the service do you come from? Your culture teach you make clients wait forever and being rude ? Did I say impolite words ? If you say you don’t care my clients have a plan and payment etc. why should I care if you don’t have the capacity to welcome a group and enough service for the restaurant ? Their boss said they will not welcome any group again because of me !!! Thank you !!! That’s good , lucky them !!! I believe all people can find a better place ! Do not have the Worst experience in yours

Great place to have a Greek dinner. Very good, tender and tasty meat (that’s why you go to a Greek), rice is also very good. Price-quality at a good level, service is even better.

We have been regular guests in the past. The gyros used to be better. During the last 3-4 visits it was always very full of fat. In addition, the prices have risen a lot, too much in my opinion. Yes, the VAT...blah blah..., I understand, but it's too expensive now.

Were there on Friday without a reservation. You should reserve a table as it is very busy. Food tasted very good, portion size was good. We’d love to come back 😉

The first time there was surprising and the food was very good, lamb shank with eggplant etc. and potato slices, the gyros were also tip top, large portions. Service very friendly and attentive and quick. Go again a good Greek!

We were very disappointed. We were greeted very briefly when we entered the restaurant. Very sad when the guest is friendlier than the service. I understand something different by hospitality. The food was mediocre. The meat dry. The calamari didn't taste like usual. We will not visit this restaurant again.

A little disappointed, less friendly staff, cuisine without change, Mediterranean dishes but with fewer flavors, where is olive oil?? So for something new it's worth the experience but if you go there too often you get tired of it..

Very tasty meal. An ouzo as an aperitif, a cognac as a finale. But above all, delicious food and drinks. Good cocktails, even without alcohol. Dolmades and the tzaziki were deliciously prepared. The main dishes and dessert: delicious. I had liver and it was cooked perfectly.

Still and by far the best Greek restaurant in town. Region 3 borders..an incredible choice, very good cuisine..top service and a glass of ouzo offered as an aperitif👍

Alles stets vom feinsten...! Freundliches und flottes Personal... Preis-Leistung passt...! Lediglich ist leider die Lautstärke je nach Besuch bzw. Andrang ein wenig laut...!

Ja was soll man sagen: Gyros o. k., Fischplatte schmeckt alles gleich Beilagen : Pommes ungewürzt . Die Brat Kartoffeln sind frittierte Kartoffelscheiben ohne Geschmack , der Wein und Ouzo kommt aus Drei - Liter Gallonen . Dass es überhaupt zwei Sterne gibt, ist dem wirklich sehr freundlichen Service zu verdanken. Gewöhnlicher laden ohne irgendwas besonderes. Aber das ganze für 91 € bei zwei Erwachsenen Dieses Restaurant ist keine Bereicherung

My boyfriend recently introduced me to this restaurant, and I’m so glad he did! I’ve had dinner here twice so far, and the experience was great both times. Good food, nice atmosphere, and friendly staff! The menu is very large and varied, so there’s bound to be something for everyone. The prices are fair, considering how large the portions are, and you even get an ouzu, a side salad, and a homemade sweet shot on the house. This restaurant seems to be very popular (and for good reason), so I recommend you make a reservation, so you’re guaranteed a table!

Wir sind oft im "alten" Delphi gewesen. Wir werden das neue gerne wieder ausprobieren. Ich bin überzeugt dass es genau so gut ist wie das alte!

Sehr freundliches Personal .Essen bisher immer gut und sehr gute Auswahl. Keine langen Wartezeiten bis das Hauptgericht serviert wird .

Positiv, das Personal ist nett, essen kam schnell, das war es dann aber auch. Der Vorspeisensalat war lieblos auf einen viel zu kleinen Teller angerichtet, der Dressing ist m.E. Fertigprodukt. Hauptgang, genau wie der Salat, zu viel auf dem Teller, hier gilt die Devise Masse statt Klasse. Ich habe mich auf die Bratkartoffeln gefreut, sorry aber was verstehen die Leute heute unter Bratkartoffeln? Fertige Kartoffelscheiben aus der Tiefkühltruhe die durch die Fritteuse gezogen werden, das ist nicht Braten, setzen 6. Es war da noch eine dunkle nicht definierbare Sauce auf dem Teller, sollte das Bratensauce sein, Tüte lässt grüßen. Zum Dessert gönnte ich mir einen Schokoladen Eisbecher, da kann man ja eigentlich nicht viel falsch machen, tja da habe ich mich geirrt. Die Eiswaffel war lätschig und schmeckte leicht nach Fett, auf Deutsch gesagt, die Fettdämpfe habe sich auf die wohl offen gelagerten Waffeln abgesetzt. Für mich zählt Qualität nicht die Quantität, Danke einmal und nie wieder

Gisteravond heerlijk gegeten in dit restaurant. Grote porties, zowel het voorgerecht als het hoofdgerecht. Het eten smaakte heerlijk. Bij aankomst kreeg ik van het huis een glaasje Ouzo aangeboden en ook bij het vertrek kreeg ik weer iets aangeboden van het huis. De bediening was erg vriendelijk en het zat er gezellig vol. Een leuke avond gehad!

Gutes griechisches Restaurant. Der Garten ist schön angelegt und ist gemütlich. Auch die Inneneinrichtung fügt sich gut in das griechische Ambiente ein. Essen und Getränke kamen relativ schnell und war sehr lecker. Die Portionen waren reichlich und ließen das Verhältnis von Preis/Leistung voll aufgehen. Die Ober waren sehr freundlich. Einen Ouzo zu Beginn des Essens und etwas fruchtiges, süßes, erfrischendes, alkoholisches Etwas zum Bezahlen. Rundum zufrieden fuhren wir nach Hause und fielen ins (sorry) Fresskoma 😀

Première expérience hier au restaurant. Étant frontaliers c’est agréable d’avoir des serveurs qui parlent anglais français et allemand. La carte propose un choix immense. L’attente était très courte avec une salade entre l’entrée et le plat. Tout était servi chaud. C’était une très bonne expérience. Si vous souhaitez découvrir les spécialités grecs ou même manger des plats plus classiques vous êtes au bon endroit. Les prix sont très corrects.

Absolut NICHT zu empfehlen. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt in keinster Weise! Schlecht vorgefertigte und aufgewärmte Produkte, die fad und ungewürzt schmeckten. Die Gäste könnten einen Wettbewerb im Schnellessen veranstalten. So schnell wurde man abgefertigt und rausgeguckt. NIE WIEDER. Mehr als enttäuschend. Da schließe ich mich dem Vorbewerter an!

Für mich enttäuschend, Salat Sauce schmeckte nach gar nichts. Zaziki nicht cremig ebenfalls fade. Darm in den Garnellen nicht entfernt (no Go). Kartoffelchips nicht cross, Reiss zu Tode gekocht. Beim Gyros kann man nichts falsch machen. Sorry, aber bei allen Komponenten fehlte irgendwie der Geschmack. ich habe in jedem anderen griechischem Restaurant in der Umgebung besser gegessen.

Great service but they give u appraisers and then charge u! We didn’t ask for water or appetisers but they put it anyway and charge u crazy money on it! Careful

While staying in the hotel nearby we went for dinner in the restaurant of the hotel “Axion” for three consequent evenings (Friday – Sunday). I read one of the reviews which questioned authenticity of Greek food offered in this restaurant. I’m not ready to argue, though I just spent two weeks in Greece and did not find dramatic difference between what I ate in Corfu and here. We enjoyed the place not only because of the excellent, in my opinion, food and services, but also because of the general atmosphere in this restaurant. It is quite big, especially for the village where it is located and not being at the crossroad of the main touristic routes. But on Friday and Saturday it was full of customers. It is obvious that the restaurant is very popular among the local population (it is certainly the best recommendation): there were families with small children, groups of friends or colleagues, couples of different age. The place was rather noisy, but it “created” the atmosphere where everybody looked as the ones who enjoyed the evening. If you stay in the nearby hotels, I strongly recommend not miss the opportunity to have dinner or lunch in this restaurant. I’m sure that you will not regret.

We enjoyed a few meals here as we were staying in the hotel. Every food item ordered was wonderfully prepared and presented. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were equally delicious and affordable.

I have been at Axion hotel and restaurant cause I was working in Basel, at the fair, one mounth ago. Maria is the perfect "boss", for this greek restaurant and hotel. There's no problem she can't deal with...don't worry, guys! Hospitable rooms (but if you're italian, like me, don't forget to ask for an italian kind of pillow!), fine greek food, and an atmosphere that will make you feel at your own home...and a beautiful city so near to visit...thanks Maria, for the good days passed overthere, and thanks to Stefy too...see you next time, girls!
