We always enjoy going there for dinner. Nice staff and cozy restaurant. We are always welcome to come by.

Unfortunately I can't understand the negative reviews. The welcome was warm, the waitresses were very friendly and attentive. The salad was fresh and the bread served with it was still warm and just as fresh. We opted for the chicken skewers with potato chips, rice and salad, and we haven't eaten Greek like this in a while. The meat was tender, hot and properly seasoned. We will definitely come back.

Of particular note was the gyro, which was perfectly seasoned and juicy, accompanied by a refreshing homemade tzatziki. The moussaka was also excellent, with a harmonious mix of tender meat, eggplant and a delicious béchamel sauce. The portions were generous and left nothing to be desired. Excellent service The service at Zeus was first class. We received friendly and attentive service, and the staff always tried to make our stay a pleasant one. The waitress took the time to explain the dishes to us and make recommendations. Drinks were served quickly and the food arrived in a timely manner, perfectly tempered and attractively presented. From the excellent quality of the food to the warm service to the charming ambience, everything impressed us. We will definitely come back and can fully recommend the Zeus.

The food itself is really tasty, but the waiting times are extremely arduous. We first had to wait 15 minutes for the menu, then half an hour for the salad. As if that wasn't enough, we of course had to wait another 20 minutes for the main menu. Really annoying!!! I understand that sometimes it can take a while, but not like this. Then it’s better to hire 1-2 more people. The waiter didn't know the numbers by heart, so we had to explain exactly what we wanted several times because he wasn't able to write down 3 menus (the same menu twice). I ordered a Cola Zero (33cl), which was billed as a large cola, even though it wasn't 4dl. Oh well.

Very good restaurant with Greek specialties

The waiter was very friendly and quickly brought us some bread and the tzatziki we ordered, which tasted delicious and fresh. There was also a small salad free of charge which was also very fresh. For the main course I had the Cyprus plate which was very large and tasty. In addition to the perfect consistency and seasoning of the meat, you also have to highlight the delicious rice. I can't say what was in the sauce, but it was great. The potatoes were also great, perfectly crispy and a hit for dipping in tzatziki. My gin and tonic tasted good too. The only negative point is that it is very loud in the restaurant, perhaps a few decorative items would help. Top restaurant, cheap, clean and tasty: we will definitely be back.

If you want to eat real Greek, you'd better go to the Hotel Axion, which is very close by. It's just a shame that it's closed on Thursday. You won't find any Greeks on site. Gyros on the skewer is said to be more of a pan-fried dish...

I rarely give such a bad rating. The atmosphere is very bland and the decoration is outdated. The service is terrible, no communication between the employee and the guest. The boss prefers to smoke right in front of the entrance rather than ask the guests how the food was. This leads to the next point: the food is either over-seasoned or not at all. Shame about the products. The price is far too high for the quality. Almost 60 euros for 2 main courses and 2 drinks. If my guests left two almost full plates, I would ask what was wrong. This restaurant is absolutely not recommended.

Es war wie immer sehr lecker. Die Teller waren sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Die Portionen sind genau richtig dimensioniert. Das Personal wie immer freundlich, fix und zuvorkommend. Ein gelungener Abend.

Schön war, dass es einen Salat mit warmem Brot vor sowie einen Ouzo nach dem Essen gab. Ansonsten sind die Mahlzeiten eher durchschnittlich und sehr fetthaltig. Das Personal ist nett und professionell. Das Ambiente eher neutral und kühl. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist super.

Das Essen war himmlisch. Die Brokkoli Sauce war der Hammer, und das Fleisch war auch wie wir es gewollt haben. Die Salatsauce war auch sehr gut. Sehr freundliches Personal und schnelle Bedienung.

Bin immer wieder hier, Qualität der Speisen immer auf stabilem, hohem Niveau. Service sehr freundlich und nur 5min von der Grenze.

Aaaalso, Lage super. Alle Kellner waren freundlich, aber man könnte auch ein wenig lächeln. Klar jeder hat mal schlechte Laune aber es ist in der Gastronomie eher unvorteilhaft mit grimmiger Miene durchs Restaurant zu laufen. Insgesamt hat das Restaurant wirklich eine Make Over nötig, sieht sehr in die Jahre gekommen aus, vorallem mit dem Teppichboden. Die Preise waren okay, das Essen war nicht so gut wie man es erwartet hatte. Salat mit Knoblauchdressing war super. Das Gyros schmeckt wie ein indisches Fleischgericht, hat eher weniger mit griechischem Gyros zu tun. Die Kalamares habe ich probiert, die waren sehr labbrig. War jetzt überhaupt keine Horrorerfahrung oder große Enttäuschung aber wir werden eher nicht wieder kommen, vielleicht doch für den Salat ;)

Zuerst war ich überrascht durch die doch etwas hohen Preise. Die Größe der Portionen hat es dann allerdings relativiert.

ausser die menge der salatsauce (zu viel, geschmacklich aber gut) war alles super. gute zutaten, sehr gute zubereitung. um ehrlich zu sein, war uch aufgrund der 4 sterne bewertung etwas skeptisch, wir wurden hedoch positiv überrascht.

Die angebotenen Speisen waren in Ordnung, schmeckten wegen des bei den Fleischsorten verwendeten Gewürzes aber sehr ähnlich.

Wie immer, sehr leckeres Essen und freundliches Personal. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wirklich super! Essen kam nach ca. 10min. Hatten den Gyrosteller. Das beste Gyros was ich je gegessen habe. Der Fleischspieß war auch unglaublich zart. Salat war mir dabei als Vorspeise war sehr frisch und Dressing war super! Kann mich über nichts beschweren. Der dazugehörige Reis war einfach nicht mein Geschmack aber super vorbereitet! Danke!

Very good and atmosphere. Good service and friendly staff. We had Greek salad, mousaka, and filletto, all delicious. We arrived late for lunch on Sunday and were happy to find this nice restaurant with the kitchen open the whole day (only weekends).

Es ist eine Schande! Wir durften mit der Begleitung vom Inhaber an einem von uns reservierten Tisch sitzen. Nach ca. 20 Min kam der Inhaber und wir mussten mit unserer schwer behinderten Tochter und 2 Frauen aufstehen und gingen nach Hause. An unserem Tisch durften dann 3 Jugendliche sitzen. Eine Schande! Keine professionelle Bedienung! Unglaublich wie die Leute nur noch an das Geld denken! Katastrophal! Nicht zu empfehlen!

Nix besonderes von innen und aussen, dann wurden die Preise deutlich erhöht (ok wegen Corona kann man ein Auge zu drücken) aber dann erwartet man, dass man für das Geld auch Fleisch bekommt. Ich war schon sehr kritisch wegen den Bewertungen aber wir wollten uns überzeugen. Ja das Fleisch schmeckt aber nicht 2 kleine Stückchen Lamm und Kalb mit einer pampigen Soße und billig Reis für 19€. Direkt an der Hauptstraße gelegen, aber dennoch gut abgeschirmt und ruhig. Eine grosse Auswahl an griechischen Köstlichkeiten. Die unbekannten Speisen werden gut erklärt und Empfehlungen gegeben. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, dass Essen war schnell zubereitet und sehr lecker. Gefüllte Weinblätter und Mousaka sind sehr zu empfehlen. Dazu werden Tsatsiki und Brot gereicht. Zum Abschluss wurde mir ein Ouzo offeriert. Sehr lecker, schön ruhig, Service aufmerksam aber nicht aufdringlich. Ich werde gerne wieder kommen.

Hallo, Grieche ? Es gab weder zu Beginn - noch am Ende ein Ouzo. Zaziki schmeckte auch nicht und musste extra geordert werden. Einrichtung und Qualität des Essens mangelhaft. Service OK. Fleisch nur teilweise gut gebraten und nicht schön angerichtet. Alles in Allem keine gute Leistung und keinen weiteren Besuch wert. Gruss

Mit meiner guten Kollegin wollte ich einen schönen Abend im Zeus verbringen. Es war leider ein halbwegs schöner Abend dort. Als wir das Restaurant betraten, war es fast leer. Das erste was ich sah war eine offene Serviettenpackung vorm Eingang, nebenan die Speisekarten völlig durcheinander gestapelt, wie auch die Sitzkissen für draussen.. u.s.w War nicht so einladend. Der Servicefachmann grüsste uns hastig und lief mehrere Male an uns vorbei, ohne was zu sagen. Nach einigen Minuten fragte meine Kollegin ob wir uns an einen Platz setzen dürften. Er nickte uns mit einem halbem Lächeln aus der ferne zu. Danach brachte er uns die Speisekarten (die echt alt und kaputt waren). Ich merkte langsam, dass die Tischdecke an mehreren Orten Fettspuren hatte und an der Wand neben mir ebenfalls Dreck war. Die Dekoration war eher altmodisch (muss nichts heissen) und manche Bilder hingen schief. Die Lampen sahen renovationsbedürftig aus. (Kabel hingen von oben ein bisschen raus). Ich wollte schon gehen, doch meine Kollegin meinte wir sollten bleiben und dem eine Chance geben. Es gibt eine sehr grosse Auswahl an Gerichten. Meine Kollegin nahm Geflügel am Spiess mit Kartoffelchips, Reis und Salat. Ich nahm das Gleiche wie sie, einfach mit Kalbssteak anstatt Geflügel. Die Getränke kamen schnell wie auch das Essen. Der Salat war frisch und die Sauce war nicht schlecht. Doch das Fleisch war durch, obwohl ich es Medium bestellt habe. Der Rest vom Essen war kaum gewürzt und schmeckte fade. (Wo sind die griechischen Gewürze?) Wir fragten nach dem Essen drei Mal nach der Rechnung (Immer noch Kaum Kundschaft). Am Schluss wurden wir nicht gefragt ob es uns schmeckte und der Abschied verlief ebenfalls hastig. Schade, früher war das Zeus ein gutes Restaurant aber heute komme ich nicht so schnell wieder...

Das Zeus ist ein einfacher Grieche mit einem grossen Menü zu bezahlbaren Preisen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Portionen gross. Sie sind nett zu Kindern und es ist immer wieder nett dort einzukehren.

In diesem Restaurant würde ich tag täglich essen, wäre es nicht ein stück entfernt von mir. Der Service 1A Das Essen 1A Die Portionen 1A+++ Man isst wie ein König beim Restaurant Zeus, das Preisleistungs verhältniss ist unglaublich, man bekommt mehr als Erwartet bei jedem Gericht!! Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen!

A város nyugodtabbik felén található. Sokan ültek itt, hát mi is beültünk. A barátom jól lakott de én túlsütöttnek (kiszáradtnak) éreztem az ételt, így sajnos éhen maradtam.

Sehr unfreundlicher Kontakt am Telefon bei der Reservation. Als wir ins Restaurant kamen hiess es mit einem unfreundlichen Unterton „dort links ist der Tisch“. Die Speisekarten wurden wortwörtlich auf den Tisch geworfen. Bestellung wurde völlig falsch entgegengenommen. Auf der Dessertkarte hiess es Tiramisu mit Vanilleglace, das Vanilleglace fehlte jedoch leider. Bei der Dessertbestellung lief uns der Kellner davon, obwohl noch nicht die gesamte Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Das letzte Dessert wurde gebracht, als alle anderen bereits fertig waren. Man musste den Kellner darauf aufmerksam machen, die Dessertkarte bitte abzuräumen. Während dem ganzen Essen wurden die leeren Gläser und Flaschen auf dem Tisch stehen gelassen. Getränke wurden gebracht trotz fehlender Bestellung. Sehr Schade das Ganze. Einziges Positive, das Essen war sehr gut. Alles andere ist eine reine Katastrophe.

ZEUS is a Greek restaurant nearby to Gasthaus 3Land in Weil am Rhein. It offers good food at reasonable prices. Staff could display a more friendly attitude and in this way improve the hospitality of this venue.

I have walked past this Restaurant on previous visits to Weil-am-Rhein and wondered why it was so empty, so decided to chance my luck on this last visit. The food was good, especially the fish, and all was nicely presented. There was however a lack of atmosphere - maybe softer lighting and different music would have made a differerence, and the owners children running around did not help. There were a few couples sat at tables, but it did not seem a place to linger over supper. It was a shame, because I did enjoy the food!
