Very friendly and good service! Ate 3 different dishes today. My wife even said: The best gyros I've ever eaten in a Greek restaurant! Again thank you very much! Price performance is right here!

Very good food, friendly service, we feel very comfortable here, a very nice evening. We were always satisfied, unfortunately everything got worse and became more expensive without any notice. Old prices on the map and online then on the bill at 202.90 are 13.10 euros more. Why no notice?

We were at Athos today after the change of ownership, unfortunately very poorly. They kept the name, but unfortunately not the quality that the restaurant had before the change. Salad was a disaster and the pork and cheese skewer was not a skewer, just 3 pieces of meat with cheese placed on top and fried to death. Never again will something like that ruin your whole evening.

Had ordered a table for 4 people. The service was very friendly but not attentive. After the first drink order, they didn't ask us again if we wanted anything else. It's a shame :( 😞 Food is overpriced for what you get. Very careless. Again, it's a shame we were there so often with friends The previous owner was still there and was completely satisfied there but now we don't want to go there anymore. We pointed out the poor quality of the food, be it the taste where there was no taste or the fact that when I order skewers I also get some 😔But that's not a good thing Signed to the cook, there was no reaction and they didn't seem to care. All I can say is we're not going there anymore.🤷

We came for dinner 12 people, everything reminds me of Greece. very tasty food! Waitresses are smiling and helpful! My new favorite restaurant!

The first time after the change of ownership was there with 6 people, tasted very bad, regardless of whether it was soup, starter or main course, portion small, price high, staff attentive, but there won't be a second time, too bad!!!

Hello, I was at your place with my husband. We were very happy (I'm a service worker by profession). The staff was nice. Our starter was inedible and unloving. The mushrooms were micro-cooked. They could be prepared as delicately as described on the menu .(were inedible) And a garlic dip would have been prepared fresh so quickly. With freshly pressed garlic. Than what we were served. Powder with water. My anchovies weren't what I'm used to either and what was sprayed on top, It didn't taste like anything. In our two main courses, the fillet and the knuckle were tender. But we understand the fried potatoes as something different and nothing from the deep fryer and the salad that was sprayed over it, what's that indefinable and the beans were nothing special. A salad dressing It's quick and easy. Make money with cheap powder. It's a shame we won't be coming back. P.s.: And if we go out to eat, no matter where, which we normally enjoy and have a lot of time, then the starter is prepared completely fresh and that can take a while, as well as the salad with the main course, we enjoy it and the main course. We also normally drink more but I just wanted to get away. Maybe you should go to other restaurants to eat and learn from what it might be like in yours. AND a knuckle includes fries, which I could have ordered separately. WHY? Then it would have been a meal for us.

This evening we were at Athos again with our friends. As always, it was great. Delicious food and the girls in service and the boss were very friendly as always. We would be happy to come back to you.

We spent a nice evening. Except for the salad (no dressing), the food was good. Service was good and courteous, thank you very much. If the preparation of the salad were improved now, it would be (almost) perfect :-)

Maybe some people are shocked because there is a gas station next to it, but it's worth taking a look. The food is GREAT and delicious, the service is friendly and polite. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. So all in all, absolutely recommended.

We came across it by chance. I made a reservation by phone for 2 people at lunchtime. Inconspicuous from the outside, very tastefully decorated from the inside. Service was super friendly, accommodating and quick. Starter, food was served very quickly. Everything was great & delicious. Real insider tip! We will be back!

Athos in Schmelz is a very nice Greek restaurant. Everything is perfect here: food, service and ambience. A place to feel good and come back.

Tastes like vacation! Feels like a vacation! A very young and friendly restaurant team with an excellent sense of service. The food was authentic and reminiscent of the local dishes from numerous Greece vacations. Here, dishes with typical Greek spices and roasted aromas are served without a lot of frills. We can also only rave about the tzatziki! The warmth and hospitality really impressed us and reminded us of our time in Greece! Gladly again!

A highly recommended Greek. The older waitress seems to cause a bit of chaos at times (we were mistakenly given the starter from the next table, but it was immediately sorted out when we asked), but she is very friendly. The food is not world class, but it is very tasty and the prices are very reasonable in terms of quality and quantity. So everything was great, we will come back there again. Update: One year (and I assume completely new staff and a new owner?) later. The once sumptuous mixed salad before the main course has given way to a small plate of ready-made coleslaw, and the amount of zucchini in the starter feels like it has been halved. The rather large portion of fries and the "rice balls" on a lamb plate have disappeared and been replaced by a small (smaller) portion of convenience fry potato slices, at least the meat has retained the familiar quality and quantity. But we paid around €120 instead of €90-100 for the same meal for two (with starter/dessert and drinks). I don't want to criticize the price increase - there's no way around it for an entrepreneur these days and I have no problem paying 20-30% more. BUT: I expect the same as before. I find it annoying to combine a price premium with lower quantity and lower quality. Please don't get me wrong: It's still a pretty good restaurant, the food is ok, the service is friendly and fast. But the previous level (very good/lots of food for a very convincing price) is no longer achieved - so it goes from the preferred Greek to the "standard Greek".

Had reserved a table for Sunday. Were placed by the waiter at a table squeezed into the corner. After 20 minutes our order, including drinks and appetizers, was taken by the waiter. After another hour of waiting, the waiter appeared and told us that he could no longer find the note with the order and that we could order again. We gave up, paid for the drinks and said goodbye. We made a reservation for 4 people at short notice, it was just possible. Service was very nice, attentive and accommodating. The food was very good and plentiful. You can expect between €25 and €30 per person. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio can be classified as very good. Ambiance is cozy.

Food was okay, but seemed more like frozen food. Unfortunately, service was a disaster, hardly a word was understood. Since the Lokas is very small, it was also extremely loud and stuffy. Unfortunately not recommended.

Large selection of food. My gyros with Metaxa sauce was delicious. Fries greasy and limp. It was too cold in the restaurant itself for me.

Rather uninviting from the outside, as it is located right next to a gas station, but inside it is tastefully decorated according to a 'Greek' style. The map is as extensive as expected. The four different dishes were very tasty and at a sensational price. The PLV gets 12 out of 10 points from me! The service, in our case personally from the boss due to illness, was excellent. And ouzo on top! Gladly again 👌.

Went there to eat and weren't disappointed, everything was great!! The parking situation could be better, but otherwise tip top!!! Can just be recommended!!

Never again! Food still FROZEN and less than a children's plate! The food was put away while we were still chewing and the last person still had their plate full! And we WAIT 1 1/2 hours for this. We could have prepared the dishes ourselves at home with the same ingredients, nothing other than buying them from a discount store and defrosting them. Even the fish! Not recommended at all, you can save your money

Wir hatten einen supertolles Essen - jedem von uns 6 hat es sehr gut geschmeckt! Das fängt beim selbstgebackenen Brot an, geht über die Vorspeise (der gegrillte Oktupus war der Hammer😀) bis hin zum Hauptgericht! Fürs Dessert waren wir alle leider schon zu satt … Die Preise sind sehr gut und die Portionen sehr groß- wir konnten gar nicht alles aufessen und übriggebliebene Speisen wurden direkt eingepackt und mitgegeben. Das Personal ist TOP!!! Freundlich, mit einem Lachen und schnell. Aus Versehen wurde ein falsches Essen gebracht (Rinderleber) - es wurde innerhalb weniger Minuten mit dem Lamm ersetzt und das falsch servierte Essen blieb auf dem Tisch für alle anderen mitzuessen . Selbstredend dass es nicht berechnet wurde. In Summe ein absolutes 5***** Erlebnis! Herzlichen Dank und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Nach mehreren Empfehlungen waren wir heute Abend dort Essen. Vorab möchte ich erwähnen das der Chef, wenn Kritik ausgesprochen wird, diese auch selbst entgegennimmt und darauf zum Wohle des Gastes reagiert, großes Lob an dieser Stelle. Jetzt zur Kritik: Das Ambiente ist völlig in Ordnung, man erkennt sofort den griechischen Stil und fühlt sich wohl. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, allerdings gab es eine Aussage, welche überhaupt nicht geht. "Ich bringe das Essen nur raus, weiß aber nicht was es genau ist", Schwierig. Zu den Salaten kann ich sagen das sie alle Hausgemacht waren, aber da hört es auch auf. Gemüse, und zwar jegliches war TK, nicht gewürzt und wahrscheinlich aus der Mikrowelle und mit Knoblauchöl garniert. Ebenso war es mit dem Reis. Die Fischgerichte waren sehr trocken, schlecht gewürzt, der Tintenfisch eher Gummi ähnelnd und die Garnelen ungünstig serviert da sie ungeschält und mit Sauce drapiert waren. Die Saucen generell waren Fertigprodukte und haben sich nur in ihrer Abwandlung unterschieden. Das Gyros überbacken kam mit einer ordentlichen Temperatur am Tisch an, wurde aber nicht gegrillt. Alles in allem hat niemand von uns seinen Teller wirklich angerührt. Es gab ein Persönliches Gespräch mit dem Chef, er hat sich alles angehört, das Essen musste nicht bezahlt werden und man versprach sich der Sache anzunehmen. Ich gehe davon aus das die überwiegend gute bis sehr gute Rezensionen auch einen guten Grund haben, nur hat es den heutigen Abend leider nicht wiedergespiegelt.

Ach, ein Grieche mit Griechischen Herz.

Mit meiner Frau war ich heute im Restaurant Athos in Schmelz essen, das Essen war sehr gut. Wir hatten Vorspeise, Hauptspeise, Salat Getränke Espresso und einen Betrag von 60 € zu zahlen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut das Personal sehr freundlich.

Super freundliche Bedienungen . Sehr gutes Essen . Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren vor drei Wochen bei restaurant Athos war alles top,der Besitzer war unglaublich freundlich, Wieder immer............

Der Inhaber ist sehr nett, und hat coole Sprüche drauf. Leider mussten wir etwas zu lange warten bis wir bedient wurden. Kann aber mal passieren. Wir hatten das flambierte Steak mit Metaxa. Und das war echt gut. Alles in allem gebe ich gerne die 4 Sterne.

Habe mich sehr darüber gefreut, dass es ein paar vegetarische Optionen gab. Das Mousakas kam zwar frisch und noch ganz heiß in einer kleinen Auflaufform mit viel Gemüse an - fand ich auf den ersten Blick super - war aber leider kaum bis gar nicht gewürzt. Es waren keine frischen Kräuter zu schmecken. Auch meine Begleitung war nicht begeistert. Sie hatten verschiedene Fleischgerichte bestellt und waren enttäuscht, da es auch bei ihnen an Gewürzen fehlte. Hätte mir auch gewünscht, dass man mehr umsorgt wird. Brot, Öl und beispielsweise Oliven auf dem Tisch fehlten. Ausbaufähig! :)

Wir haben an einem Samstag Abend spontan für 2 Personen einen Tisch bekommen & wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Das Essen war sehr lecker und schnell serviert! Tolle Auswahl an griechischen Speisen und leckeren Getränken! Preis-Leistung passt hier ebenfalls absolut! Wir waren mehr als zufrieden und würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Service war top und die Preise sind auch super. Man kann bei schönem Wetter auch draussen sitzen. Ambiente etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist alles sauber und die Toilettenanlage ist neu. Wir können es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und werden auch wiederkommen!

Wir kommen regelmäßig mit Freunden und Familie in dieses unterschätzte kleine aber so gemütliche Restaurant. Es ist ungefähr so als wenn du zu deinem Onkel auf Besuch kommst. Ein wahnsinnig guter Gastgeber der sich trotz vollem Laden sich die Zeit nimmt und mit den Gästen spricht. Ohne das man lange warten muss. Das Essen ist immer frisch und lecker . Auch der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Auch vorbestellen und abholen ist nie ein Problem . Kommen immer wieder gern ..
