Restaurant ANNO 1460 in Weißenhorn

A very well-kept and beautiful ambiance. You feel at home there. The food and menus are truly a culinary delight. We've been there several times, and the food has always been delicious, and the service is excellent. The prices are reasonable for the high-quality food. It's always worth a visit. I also noticed that there's a very interesting selection of whiskeys. You don't find them everywhere. I've been back to Anno and had another very tasty and filling culinary experience. The restaurant is very well-maintained, and dining in the rose garden now in the nice weather is simply wonderful.

Pros: Lovely garden, friendly staff. Cons: The food. If you like instant soup and fried onions from the hot dog section, this is the place for you. The salad was delicious, and so was the salad dressing.

Unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment. Simple, lacking in refinement, and not very tasty. Not recommended.

I was very pleased to receive such excellent service once again. The food was also very good, with generous portions even for hearty eaters. There's a large menu for vegetarians. Our friends also praised the meat dishes. Beautifully presented. We'll be back.

Really nice restaurant with a great garden and good food

A wonderful barbecue afternoon in the rose garden with friends – highly recommended! The grilled specialties were consistently delicious and freshly prepared. The atmosphere was relaxed and cheerful, just the thing for a relaxing summer day. I would especially like to highlight the attentive and professional service – a big thank you to Dan and his team! The time flew by, we'll definitely be back!

An upscale restaurant. Okay...the prices are a bit high, but you get value for your money. I found the ambiance very pleasant, the staff very attentive, and the food not only delicious but also a reasonable size and very nicely presented. I recommend reserving a table. There's plenty of parking nearby.

Very fast, friendly service, a nice atmosphere, and good food. What bothered me personally, however, was that almost five years after the coronavirus pandemic, these plexiglass partitions between the tables are still in place.

We had dinner here with 5 people after making a reservation. Unfortunately, we received a very critical reception, which we attribute to the Schlemmerblock. It's a shame that restaurants are taking part that are obviously not open to this system, which was confirmed a little by a nice conversation over the course of the evening. We only became aware of this restaurant through this block (it's a form of advertising) and will logically come back if we like it and feel good. With Block it is definitely easier to give something new or unknown a chance. The food was very good, onion roast was great, dessert was highly recommended and extremely tasty. The ambience is great and the restaurant is beautiful and stylish. Parking spaces can be found in the surrounding area. All in all, we would love to come back and are happy to have tried out the year.

We dined there as a couple in February 2025. The highlight is large portions of very good food at reasonable prices. Overall we were very satisfied, perhaps an idea could be to arrange the tables so that you have a little more privacy. But that's just a small thing - thanks for the hospitality and keep it up!

The service was good, the food was ok, it could definitely be better. The starter for two people “tapa plate ANNO 1460” for €24.50 was really outrageous. Grilled sausages, bacon, feta and mozerella. I don't have to go out to eat and the price isn't even remotely justified. It's a shame, but we won't come back again.

The fact that you can eat excellently and enjoy a great ambience in Anno is well known and has been described several times, and that doesn't really need any further comment. But what also defines a top restaurant is how you deal with it when a breakdown does occur, which requires tact. I was very positively impressed here. The doneness of my meat was recorded incorrectly due to a misunderstanding. The choice between medium-rare and medium-well is great enjoyment or fried to death. Dan Serban recognized the error in the expression on my face and immediately and comprehensively provided a remedy and great pleasure. I was very impressed with the professional and friendly manner. ..... this is also how you recognize top-class gastronomy. Thank you Dan Serban - it was a successful evening.

We specifically chose the adjoining room there to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our high school graduation in 1974 because the ambience is extraordinary. Where else can you dine in good company in a castle building that dates back to 1460? All former classmates were enthusiastic about the quality and tasty of the various dishes. The salads were fresh and crunchy, as if they had just been taken from the garden. There was also a wide selection of exquisite drinks. The service staff were without exception very attentive, courteous, polite and friendly. We all felt well looked after and very, very comfortable. The owner, Mr. Serban, didn't miss the opportunity to personally inquire about our satisfaction at the end of the evening. Quality must also have its price! We all found the prices reasonable in every respect. We will come here again at the next anniversary.

We had lunch on the beautiful terrace. Unfortunately our dishes: Schnitzel Viennese style and pulled pork were rather mediocre, the vegetable side dish for the pulled pork was really bad and badly discolored. We don't want to repeat that! The service was friendly.

The three of us ate today. An “asparagus pan with béchamel sauce and new potatoes”! The asparagus were almost raw, which is fine with green asparagus but definitely not possible with white asparagus. The whole thing was then fried with vegetables (zucchini, etc.) and halved potatoes (no new potatoes like on the menu!) and baked with lots of cheese, which wasn't on the menu either. Then it was just a side salad for €7.90! calculated. It's a shame - such food for these prices! The asparagus in the risotto was also borderline.

The food is good, the service attentive. The price is a euro more than elsewhere, but at a higher standard.

In and of itself a great restaurant with really good food and attentive service. If only two things hadn't happened: 1. The screaming of the three children in the vault that felt like seven. When different parties with different needs are squeezed into one vault, then you expect a good pre-selection from a restaurant like this. It was so disturbing that you could barely understand what you were saying. Apart from that, a child constantly blocked the passage and the staff did not intervene. 2. The dogs of the same group. Although the dogs were well behaved, placing them directly behind us was extremely inconvenient as my father is highly allergic to animal hair. The group quickly rescheduled, which was really nice, but we were refused a move to another room by the staff. If it hadn't been my husband's birthday dinner, I would have left immediately! We also had to leave the restaurant without dessert because my father started having an allergic reaction. Conclusion: No matter how good the food may be, the place is packed to capacity at any price. The guest is replaceable. Therefore only three stars.

We haven't been there for a while and didn't even notice the change in ownership. What I personally think is a shame is that there is now a beer in the bar that I don't like. The kitchen has clearly gained in return. Soup, main courses and dessert were really great, both in terms of taste and appearance. Great service made our evening complete and allowed us to go home very satisfied. If the chef puts on his friendly face when greeting you in the near future, there will be the missing star.

Wenn es was besonders Gutes sein soll- dann ins ANNO. Eine kleine aber feine Karte mit tollen Kreationen- außergewöhnlich viele vegetarische und vegane Gerichte. Umfangreiche Weinauswahl und Beratung vom Chef persönlich! Der ist sich auch nicht zu schade, im Service zu helfen, wenn es im vorweihnachtlichen Trubel mal eng wird.

Sowohl mittags, als auch abends, leckeres Essen in ruhiger Atmosphäre. Super schneller und aufmerksamer Service und frisch zubereitete Menüs, der Saison angepasst. Es ist sehr kurzweilig und erholsam bei euch.

Mittags ruhige entspannte Atmosphäre, Bedienungen sehr freundlich, nur kurze Wartezeit. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Abends tolle Speisekarte, nicht nur das Schnitzel -einerlei. Hierzu passt auch einer der vielen guten Whiskey's dazu.

Leider war das Essen diesmal nicht so gut. War vorbestellt und ich denke es lag an den schon vorbereiteten Speisen. Schade, aber jeder bekommt eine zweite Chance.

Leider wurden wir für unsere Geburtstagsfeier enttäuscht. Die Speisen lassen sehr zu wünschen übrig. Nur normaler Durchschnitt, dafür horrende Preise, die nicht gerechtfertigt sind. Ambiente und Service gut. „Schwabenschnitzel „war hart und trocken. Ebenso die Kartoffelchips. „Mediterrane Nduja Nudeln“ waren nur scharf. Es fehlte alles an Geschmack.

Dieses Lokal ist mega. Ist auf alle Fälle zum weiterempfehlen. Das Essen ist sehr gut und reichlich. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und sehr bestrebt, das es den Gästen gut geht. Auch die Einrichtung ist sehr idyllisch und heimelig.

Tolles Lokal mit sehr aufmerksamen Service und sehr gut zubereiteten Speisen. Preis Leistung geht voll in Ordnung.

Wunderschönes Ambiente und das Essen ist wirklich richtig gut. Von klassischen Gerichten wie Zwiebelrostbraten bis hin zu orientalisch gefüllten Roten Paprika ist wirklich für jeden was dabei. Dazu kommt ein hervorragender Service. Essen kam immer gleichzeitig. Absolute Empfehlung.
