A good hotel for a stopover. There's a playground for the kids. The on-site restaurant was also nice, featuring family-style recipes. We slept well in the family room. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices and fresh produce.

I remember the inn from the old days when it was really good, but unfortunately the food has gotten worse over the past 10 years or so. I've been there a few times for lunch recently (6 to 8 months). The food was edible, comparable to cafeteria food. Everything seemed like ready-made food to me, and I don't think anything was freshly prepared. I think they don't focus so much on quality anymore, but rather on high, quick turnover! The staff is split between good and mediocre.

It's a very nice little hotel that fulfills almost every need. It's not a Hilton or a Maritim Hotel, but it's a hotel run with love. The staff is very honest and friendly. The beds are very comfortable. I would stay at this hotel again anytime. Stay the way you are; you're great.

Overnight stay while traveling to Italy. Had dinner. Good value for money, but the price for the room with breakfast was a bit high compared to other hotels. The room was very clean and spacious. Room 31 faced the road, so you could hear the cars early in the morning. This was also because the hallway window was open. It would probably be quieter with the windows closed. We're used to traffic. It was very nice that the shutters were there, so it was dark. The bed has a firmer mattress. This is a personal preference. There's no refrigerator, but there is a bottle of sparkling water in the room. There was some bathroom noise from the neighbors, but it was quiet at night. The breakfast buffet was adequate and not expensive. However, no refills were seen after 9:00 AM. What's gone is gone. A great transit hotel.

We only spent one night there. It's a small hotel, but everything was perfect. The breakfast was very good. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd be happy to stay there again.

We stayed at the Hotel zur Rose for one night while passing through. It was a lovely, comfortable room, super friendly service, and a good breakfast. The town itself is highly recommended—a small, old Fugger town, very romantic. The Barfüßer brewery is also highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

We stayed here for one night for a family celebration at the nearby Italian restaurant. It was practical for that. The price-performance ratio is underground. The room was from a bygone era. Likewise the bathroom. There is a mini TV. Zero modern. Breakfast is at most standard. Things kept running out and were eventually refilled. Prepared fried eggs should be shared with the neighboring table. Service was moderately friendly. All this for 126 euros. That doesn't fit.

We come to this hotel every year to spend the night for winter sports. The rooms are nice and spacious enough. Price/quality is good. The breakfast is extensive. The only criticism is that the room was quite warm.

Some of the rooms are a bit dated, but everything is there and above all: CLEAN The food is excellent, especially for the money you pay.

This was our third time eating here and we weren't disappointed. The food was super delicious; the chicken fruit curry alone was incredibly good and really surprised me. The stuffed loin is also highly recommended! The service was super friendly and handled the outdoor area perfectly. We'd love to come back. Another plus point is the playground for the kids and the beautifully presented ice cream. Definitely recommend it ☺️

Good home-style German cuisine. We had a family celebration and were very satisfied. I can only recommend it. Although the restaurant was very busy, you didn't get the feeling that it was hectic or that the service was impatient. The service was extremely attentive, the drinks came quickly, the food was of good quality and the price-performance ratio was right. There are also enough parking spaces. It was a lovely lunch all around. Gladly again and again.

Since visiting the Ulm area in 2000 to visit family, we have stayed at Zur Rose on a regular basis, about every 5 years or so. This family operated hotel is always super clean, the staff is attentive and the food is excellent (whether the morning breakfast spread or dinner from the in-house restaurant). Its located minutes from the A7 Autobahn. The town of Weissenhorn is charming and just a short walk to the city center. Highly recommended.

Zwiebelrostbraten: gute Qualität, gut gebraten bzw. gekocht, aber leider ziemlich fad- keine Kräuter, zu wenig Salz (kann man nachsalzen), kaum oder gar nicht gewürzt.

Super Umgang mit uns Kunden und eine einfache, völlig unkomplizierte Abwicklung beim einchecken, obwohl wir erst sehr spät im Hotel angekommen sind. Das saubere, sehr gut ausgestattete Zimmer, das bequeme Bett, was sehr wichtig ist, sowie ein tolles, sehr leckeres Frühstück haben uns überzeugt. Das Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert, wir kommen wieder!

Das Lokal gehört mit zu unseren Lieblingslokalen, wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Für uns immer wieder prima für eine Übernachtung auf der Durchreise. Gute Küche bei sehr freundlicher Bewirtung, die auch am Frühstücksbuffet besteht!!!

Gutbürgerliches Restaurant mit ausreichend Parkmöglichkeit. Speisen sehr gut, Portionsgrössen ausreichend und gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Personal sehr freundlich.

Am Anfang war der Gastwirt etwas muffig, taute dann aber auf, und war dann sehr nett😆 das Restaurant ist gemütlich eingerichtet, man fühlt sich wohl. Das Essen ist preis-leistungsmäßig top. Sehr gerne wieder👍

Zwar waren bei unserem Besuch die Bedienungen übelst überfordert und es wurde sich nicht die Mühe gemacht extra wünsche zu beachten weil wir im Saal gegessen haben aber trotzdem finde ich das Restaurant super!alleine schon die Speisekarte die auch für Menschen was bietet welche kaum oder gar kein Fleisch essen. Viel Auswahl und nicht nur die langweilige Pommes mit.... Auswahl.
