Cooler loading! The food was very tasty 😋 I would happily go there again at any time.

We're not particularly happy. The points awarded are for the food, the ambience and the friendly staff. That was it on the positive side. What there was to complain about: There were five of us there. The waiting time for the food to be served was too long. 40-45 minutes approximately. However, this only applied to three of the five meals. The food for my wife and grandson took another 30-40 minutes to arrive. Of course, the rest of us had already finished eating. Okay…..the service staff apologized and there was a schnapps and a coffee on the house. I still wasn't satisfied. To make matters worse, €25 was overcharged. Because the sum was a little larger, I didn't notice it. It was only when I got home when I briefly skimmed the bill that I noticed that my wife's meal, which was served last, had been charged twice for €25. We visited the Amadeus on October 12, 2024. My wife then on October 13th. and on October 21st. contacted Amadeus by email to clarify the matter. There has been no answer so far. As a result, I cannot recommend this restaurant any further. NOTE: I am correcting my rating upwards now that the managing director/owner has now contacted me. An apology for the inconvenience and a voucher followed. Thank you for that.

The food is just amazing every time and the homemade lemonades are amazing. Despite a large group of 12 people, everyone got their food at the same time, which is not a given at all restaurants! There is definitely something for everyone on the menu. Bon appetit!

Very nice atmosphere in the middle of old houses. The outside area is nicely designed, so we felt quite comfortable there. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. In general the price-performance ratio is very good. However, the service was negative. One of the service staff kept picking his ear and then serving food. Another told us in a very rude way that we had to put our cell phones away. I believe that while it's not exactly en vogue, it's still my choice what I do and don't do, as long as I don't actively bother anyone with it. Regardless of your own feelings. Kudos to the one service employee who tried very hard and was always friendly, even when it was a bit stressful.

Es ist ein besseres 08/15-Lokal (bezogen auf die Speisekarte): eben, was man so normalerweise in Deutschland erwarten darf. Schnitzel war in Ordnung. Sehr freundliches Personal. Man sitzt ganz schön direkt am Wasser.

Delicious food in itself, but now with prices that can no longer be justified even by inflation. Price-performance is simply not right. 8.50 euros for a pizza bread consisting of nothing more than flour, water and cheese plus dip is a price that you might expect in Munich, but not in Salzwedel.

Amadeus, Amadeus .... Vorschuss-Lorbeeren mit Hochgesang ?! Davon war bei unserem Besuch im Amadeus Salzwedel nur (noch) wenig zu spüren. Beginnend mit Cola ohne Kohlensäure (wurde aber anstandslos ausgetauscht), “zerfranste” Tische (Korbgeflecht) im Außenbereich, die schon deutlich bessere Tage gesehen hatten. Aber die Krönung war (aus dem spärlichen Auswahlmenü) EINE 3 x geteilte Kartoffel mit etwas Grünzeug und das Ganze mit reichlich fetter Sahnesoße übergossen für läppische € 12.90 (in echtem Geld immerhin DM 25.00 ... würde bei dem Preis niemand so bestellen) Allerdings ist es auch so niemandem zu empfehlen, das Kartoffelmenü (wie oben beschrieben) zu ordern. So lebt man im Amadeus wohl vom Glanz der alten Tage .... aber wir haben neue Zeiten und da erwarte ich eine andere Art von Qualität und Quantität ... für nicht grad wenig Geld. Ich bin bestimmt nicht geizig oder besonders “picky”, aber das wird ja wohl nicht zu viel von einem Restaurant verlangt sein, oder ?

The Amadeus is located in the city center. There is parking nearby. The service was very friendly and attentive. We chose dishes from the lunch menu. The portions are really rich. The food good. We sat outside. Some of the furniture is a bit old. But you sit there comfortably and quietly. The toilets are located 1. Floor higher and are, let's say, usable. There is an elevator if you can't or don't want to take the stairs

This is my favorite restaurant. The food is of very high quality, tasty and the portions are generous. The atmosphere is cozy. The service is excellent and very personal. Plus, the menu prices are not expensive.

Food and ambience great 👍 Staff unfortunately overwhelmed (but nice) just not enough for the full shop. .Sat for ages in front of the eaten plates and waited for the bill.....then the dog (who sits on the chair - on the chair cushion) is petted and then plates are served...very unhygienic 😕

Went to Salzwedel spontaneously today and went to the Amadeus. We were very happy with everything. Friendly welcome, nice waiter and delicious food just great!

Wir sind immer gern da. Leckeres Essen, leckere Cocktails und netter Service…! Preis-/Leistung ist top. Klar, früher war die Karte größer. Aber das Essen schmeckt wirklich top.

An Italian with a very good menu. Unfortunately these were only available on the website. The restaurant then has a lunch menu until 4:30 p.m., and then another, very limited one. Very unfortunate.

Very rude employee. You pick something up and he doesn't say thank you. Saying you would get in the way. No salt and pepper. The card was taken away from us twice because the food was not being offered at the moment, even though we said twice that it was for drinks. Generally no more polite forms.

I love the Amadeus ❤️ I am always welcome, which gives me a warm, wonderful feeling of home. I haven't managed to get through the map yet but I've always been happy so far! People always ask me if I'm missing something, if I should pack something...we're very happy all around, even picking up pizza isn't a problem...extra requests are accepted with respect...

We had dinner there today on a very sunny spring day. The restaurant also has a sunny terrace outside. When we asked if we could sit outside, the female waiter replied that it was too cold for her outside and she didn't go out to serve. Then she mockingly asked her colleague if he was going out, he replied, no, he was only wearing a T-shirt. We have rarely experienced something so unfriendly and arrogant in service. We were not asked whether we were satisfied, whether we would like anything else or whether we liked it. The customer is not king here, we can confirm this. The ambience was ok, the upholstered chairs were torn, the faux leather was coming off and the foam was sticking out. The food was also rated as okay by snack bar standards. The pizza bread served with the mushroom pan seemed to be from the day before. It was sticky, cold and solid. In comparison, we ordered a whole pizza bread from the menu, this was fresh and much better. As hobby gastronomy testers, we give 0 stars for the unfriendly service and would not recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant "Amadeus" is a nice place to eat and drink well. The international staff is very friendly, courteous and quick. The entire ambience is cozy and inviting and invites you to linger for a longer period of time. The wide selection of food and drinks really fascinated us and not just because of the affordable prices.

On d. The website states that kitchen hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. If you call at 3:30 p.m., you'll be told it won't be until 5:45 p.m. and you'll be asked when you point out d. mentioned kitchen times. Great customer orientation - NOT!!!

Nice restaurant overlooking a stream. Super nice staff, tried very hard to prepare me a wholesome meal. I'm an allergy sufferer and the staff was friendly and extremely flexible. My husband really enjoyed it too.

We had reserved a table for two people in advance. We were warmly welcomed and served straight away. Drinks were served quickly and we were given enough time to choose the dishes in peace. These were also prepared for us in a very reasonable time. The food was served hot. The ingredients were fresh and in my opinion not “cheap goods”. After dinner you could sit together in peace and enjoy dessert and coffee. There was never the feeling that you were being dispatched quickly to clear the table again. The prices of the dishes are perfectly reasonable for the quality and quantity. When I'm back in Salzwedel, I would like to visit the Amadeus again.

Ich habe schon viele Male in Ihrem Restaurant gegessen. Ich bin von der Vielfalt der Speisekarte begeistert. Das Essen war immer bestens. Die Mengen nicht ganz so perfekt.

Alles stimmt: Ambiente, freundlicher Service und vorzügliche und reichhaltige Speisekarte.

Sehr lecker Essen. Personal sehr freundlich. Nur die Stühle könnten mal ausgetauscht werden. Blankes Holz, nicht gerade bequem. Toiletten im Haus, man muss in den 1.Stock. Welcher gehbehinderte soll die steile, hohe Treppe hoch? Sonst würde ich wieder hingehen. Auch Kinderfreundlich, wirklich.

Das Amadeus in Salzwedel ist ein nettes Lokal mit äußerst freundlichem Personal. Die angenehmen preise plus die Aufmachung der Gerichte versprechen einen netten Abend mit Kollegen, der Familie oder einer/einen geliebten/n. Die Inneneinrichtung ist schön und schlichty nur ist der Blick aus dem Fenster nicht das, was man sich bei einem Blick auf einem Fluss wünsche. Für eine Feier oder einen anderen Anlass bietet sich diese stätte auf jedenfall. Man sollte jedoch nicht das Essen was man nicht mehr geschafft hat mitnehmen. In meinen fall war nichtmal die hälfte meines übriggeblieben Gerichtes drin. Dafür 1Stern minus. Den anderen verliert das Lokal durch das überforderte Personal bei höchstzeiten.

Nachmittags zum Strudel essen mit Kaffee, Ambiente nur 4* weil es frisch war im Restaurant

Irgendwie hat das Amadeus Bahnhofscharackter.Wenn das Restorante voll ist, versteht man kaum sein eigenes Wort.Man(Frau)...Muß sich fast anschreien, um einander zu verstehen. Nicht schön!!! Das Essen ist gut und reichlich und das Personal bemüht sich.Aber die Lederschürzen bei den Kellnern passen irgend wie nicht.Meine Meinung.

Waren gegen 14 Uhr Mittagessen. Es gab Entrecóte mit Folienkartoffel. Die Steaks waren wie bestellt gebraten und die Folienkartoffel hat auch gepasst. Wir waren mit dem Essen zufrieden. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant hat durchgehend warme Küche! Ein gutes Restaurant.

Ein ausgesprochen ansprechendes, sauberes Ambiente mit höflichem,aufmerksamen Personal. So kurz wie die Wartezeit auf das essen war, so wirklich sehr lecker war dieses. Vom anrichten her auf sehr ansprechendem Geschirr. Kleines Manko: Die Preisliste draußen sollte aktualisiert werden und bitte gebt im Netz auf eurer Seite bescheid, wenn ihr geschlossen habt(zb WG Betriebsferien).Das erspart ehemaligen (dadurch dann leider enttäuschten Besuchern) unnötige Fahrerein.

Eine urige Kneipe mit Essensportionen von denen Männer satt werden.

Wir waren hier am Sonntag (Nysmarkt) zum Mittagessen, es war sehr voll, wir haben zum Glück noch einen Tisch bekommen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen wirklich groß. Das Personal war trotz des Stresses unheimlich freundlich und man hatte das Gefühl willkommen zu sein. Das gibt es leider nicht mehr so oft. Also können wir das Restaurant auf jeden Fall empfehlen. 😊

Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung und gutes Essen. Es gibt einen schönen Aussenbereich. Wendland-Bräu wird ausgeschenkt 🍻. Sehr gerne wieder.

Außen hängt das SKY-TV Schild und wir wollten zum Cocktail die 2. Liga schauen. Kellner:“wir haben kein SKY, das läßt der Chef nur zu Werbezwecken hängen“ So kann man Kunden nur 1 x. Locken. Bei Lieferung der Bestellung ging etwas schief, bzw. Fehlte ein Getränk. Dieser Kellner antwortete auf die Reklamation ziemlich patzig. Der Gast ist hier also nicht „König“.
