Great team, very friendly, food is delicious, excellent quality, highly recommended.

We both had Zwiebelrostbraten (onion roast beef), my husband with Spätzle and I with fries. It was okay, but I have a different idea of ​​what a good Zwiebelrostbraten should be. And if you have to search for the onions in Zwiebelrostbraten, then the dish doesn't live up to its name. The only advantage of this restaurant is that you can come without a reservation. The ambiance leaves much to be desired; our table was missing decorations. They must have had a private party yesterday and haven't had a chance to tidy everything up yet. The entrance area is uninviting. Right at the door is a fountain that's no longer working. Next to it is the ice cream freezer, and when you head towards the restrooms, you get the impression you're walking through a storage closet. There are some cardboard boxes on the coat rack that no one seems to need anymore. And it was cold, too. I'm certainly not someone who gets cold easily, but even I was too cold.

I can't understand the good reviews. We ate there yesterday with four people. My husband's venison roast came with red cabbage, which could have been seasoned better. The gravy tasted like it came from a packet. Pork medallions with only fried potatoes or spaetzle cost €21.50. Moreover, the portion was very small. I would have appreciated a small salad or at least some vegetables. It's understandable that you wouldn't want to pay an extra €5 to €10 for a salad on top of that. We know other club restaurants that are much better.

I picked up food to take home; it arrived very quickly and was one of the best schnitzels and fries I've ever had. A little tip, though: if possible, leave the packaging open when transporting it home. That way the fries stay fresh.

Here, the guest is valued as a guest. Allergies are gladly accommodated. I felt very comfortable, and the food was delicious. I'd gladly come again.

Food & Drink: The onion roast beef was cooked to perfection, and the homemade spaetzle were delicious. The rosé spritzer was also excellent, just the way I like it. Service & Atmosphere: The service was attentive but not intrusive, and the staff took good care of us. The overall atmosphere was very pleasant. Conclusion: I highly recommend Am Stockbrunnen to anyone looking for a special culinary experience. I will definitely be back. The highlight was definitely that our group was allowed to stay after dinner, and the owners played music, with the cool owner even dancing with us! ❤️ Thumbs up! 👍👍👍🥳

We held our class reunion there yesterday (November 8th, 2025)...and what can I say...it was simply amazing! The food was delicious, the service was quick and attentive. The new owners (Katja and Timo) are super nice people and it was just so much fun. We will definitely be back.

Come hungry! Large portions. Great value for money. Freshly prepared Kaiserschmarrn. Delicious Maultaschen (Swabian ravioli). Salads. Schnitzel. Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle)... Swabian delicacies. Friendly service staff. Dog-friendly 💗. In winter, there's an outdoor area with a Christmas atmosphere (mulled wine).

Can definitely be recommended. Update August 2022: Since the change of ownership in 2021, the price-performance ratio is no longer good in my opinion. Prices are too high for a "clubhouse." I personally found the food better under the previous owner, but it's not bad.

Really great food! We had the side salads, sausage salad, and the schnitzel with fries, and we were all very impressed. The value for money was excellent, with large portions and such high quality. A small but excellent menu with the most popular Swabian dishes. Overall, top-notch!

Whit Monday The kitchen seemed overwhelmed even though it was "normally" busy. There was a long wait, and when I ordered breaded mushrooms, the server told me they couldn't make them because they weren't prepared... right... The service was friendly and okay. The food was okay. It's a shame there's nothing seasonal or a daily specials menu, and no desserts either. The only vegetarian option was the obligatory Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle). The outdoor area also needs some attention; the playground would be great if it were well-maintained. Table decorations, even just salt and pepper and flowers, would be nice instead of a completely empty table on the terrace. There's room for improvement—maybe we'll come back; everyone deserves a second chance ;)

Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right. Unfortunately the Cordonbleu was very dry. The Schwabenpfännle is simply too small. 5 or 6 euros just for side dishes is simply too expensive. The atmosphere is quite bland. I was hoping that the new tenants would redesign the space.

New operators since March 19, 2025! Food was simply “wow” - homemade, fresh spaetzle, fresh mushrooms in cream sauce, great meat. The side salad was also very good and filling. The food is truly unacceptable, and the prices are very high. The Cordon Bleu was brought to the table raw, and after complaining, a new one arrived that tasted absolutely nothing. Every dish was of poor quality, be it the meat or the spaetzle. The full plate was completely ignored when paying.

Incredibly bad service. The two of us wanted to have a drink on the terrace and we were the second couple. First you wait forever until you are served, then it takes almost half an hour for the drinks to arrive and if you want to pay in a hurry you should allow twenty minutes for this. But you can't complain about the food, the quality and taste are top!

We were there for lunch today with a hiking group of around 20 people. Despite special requests at very short notice, such as special sauce, everything was to our satisfaction. A special thank you for that. We would all love to come back.

Restaurant that deserves more attention! Very good Swabian food, good menu size with seasonal offerings, some regional and homemade products in a lovingly designed ambience. Friendly owner and attentive staff. Can be combined with a short tour of the city or after a round of mini golf in the Campo. There is a playground at the restaurant for younger guests. There is a great natural playground 100 m away. Always happy to come back 😃

Everything is OK so far. Prices are also appropriate. Draft beer is also good. French fry fat should be changed. You can buy salad dressing and it's very good (price?). It's definitely worth a visit.

We were guests at the Stockbrunnen on Easter Sunday. The service was great, so we were able to enjoy our drinks very quickly. We didn't have to wait long for the food either, despite the house being full - that's how it has to be :-). Our food (asparagus) was to the point, tasted great and the portion was generous. All in all, a completely successful Easter meal. Compliments to the entire Stockbrunnen team. Very happy again 🙂

Eine leckere gut bürgerliche Küche, abwechslungsreiche Aktionsgerichte, stets freundliches und motiviertes Personal machen einen Besuch im Restaurant Am Stockbrunnen sehr empfehlenswert. Auch Sonderwünsche werden gerne erfüllt. Meine persönliche Empfehlung gilt dem extrem leckeren Salatdressing und dem Stockbrunnenburger. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Eines meiner absoluten Lieblingsrestaurants für schwäbische Küche. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top & das Essen einfach immer super lecker. Der Service ist super bemüht und man wird schnell und freundlich bedient. Sogar an Weihnachten lief die Organisation trotz zahlreicher Gäste einwandfrei. Absolute Empfehlung! 😍

Erstmal ein deutliches "naja". Das Personal hat sich sehr bemüht. Essen war mittelmäßig. Der Rostbraten ist obere Preisklasse. Das Fleisch war aber aus der Hüfte und nicht aus dem Rücken (ein Metzger merkt sowas). Die Panade vom Cordonbleu hat für mich komisch geschmeckt. Aber das ist klar Geschmackssache. Sorry das ich das schreiben muß.

Das Schnitzel und die Pommes könnten etwas mehr Gewürze vertragen. Öffnung wird als 11 Uhr sonntags beschrieben. Tatsächlich öffnet warme Küche. Erst ab 11:30 Uhr könnte man besser kommunizieren. Ausserdem hat meine Frau ihr putenschnitzen mit Spätzle bestellt und es hiess auch. Das geht doch irgendwie. Hat sie sie trotzdem mit Pommes gekriegt? War jetzt nicht so schlimm, aber hätte nicht sein müssen

Waren beim 90.geburtstag von meinem Vater Service war nicht so habe eine halbe Stunde auf mein Bier gewartet ich werde nicht mehr hingehen das Essen war auch nicht der Renner

Mit einer Reisegruppe zu Gast gewesen. Im Sommer schöne Sitzplätze auf der Terrasse vorhanden. Terrassen Möbel leider teilweise beschädigt. Personal Freundlich und das vorgbestellte Essen wurde schnell serviert. Paniertes Schnitzel mit Beiilagensalat war sehr gut, allerdings etwas wenig Pommes auf dem Teller. Einige Gerichte waren nur sehr schwach gewürzt.

Das Essen ist hervorragend! Die Leute sind sehr freundlich und alles ungezwungen und wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Wie es bei Spielbetrieb ist (Sportgaststätte) weiß ich nicht, aber das werden wir noch ausprobieren 😄 Gegessen haben wir Rostbraten, Schnitzel und Kässpätzle. Ach ja, nicht zu vergessen der Salat!! Der war frisch und lecker!

Am örtlichen Sportplatz gelegen mit vielen Parkplätzen und sauberen Sanitäranlagen. Freundlicher Service mit Defiziten im Weinbereich. Große Auswahl an Speisen für alle Geschmäcker und Hunger zu moderaten Preisen. Hat allen geschmeckt und die Teller waren aufgegessen.

Wir waren spontan dort und es war gut. Der Service war super. Die Kids haben ihr Essen schon im voraus bekommen und konnten danach gleich zum angrenzenden Spielplatz und wir Erwachsene in Ruhe essen ;-). Sehr zu empfehlen.
