This was my first time at Aussichtsreich and I was absolutely thrilled! The stunning view immediately catches your eye upon arrival – simply the perfect place to leave everyday life behind. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and relaxed; you immediately feel welcome. The food was truly delicious and freshly prepared, and the service was friendly and attentive. We felt completely at home and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I will definitely be back – a recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy good food with a comfortable atmosphere and a view!

The service is practically nonexistent. After half an hour, we left, along with other people, because we weren't served. But the view is great.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary today in the beautifully decorated pavilion. It was a truly magical, romantic experience with an outstanding menu that we were able to put together ourselves and fantastic, friendly service. Thank you so much!

If the owner had politely pointed out to us that he probably wasn't responsible in 2019, I would have deleted the review and we would have tried again. Since a deletion for defamation would have been noted in my account, I had to respond, and successfully. A direct letter to the owner was not answered. The person available at the provided phone number didn't respond to calls. On another occasion, the owner was unfriendly and drove past his guests at high speed as they were on their way to the restaurant. This restaurant is absolutely not recommended. We will not be returning.

Unfortunately, I have to give it one star to write a review. We walked up from the lower parking lot yesterday and sat down at a table that was clearly visible to the waiter. It wasn't busy either. At first, we waited in vain for the waiter to bring us the menu, but I ended up getting the menu from the next table, which isn't a big deal. The waiter walked past us several times during that time and simply ignored us. I even unpacked my own sparkling water and drank it because I was incredibly thirsty. He saw me but didn't react. Meanwhile, new guests were being served. In short, we got up and left; we'll never go there again, view or not.

We left after an unfriendly encounter with the manager! We were first responders at a guest's accident and apologized for the 35-minute delay. Not a friendly word or understanding. We were simply yelled at with, "I can't keep this table free for so long!" The joke was: there were only four tables occupied; we could have sat anywhere. Never again! Unacceptable behavior, unworthy of a manager!

We spontaneously drove by and decided to have something to eat. We received a very friendly welcome, and my son's food intolerance was fully accommodated. We had a wonderful evening with a beautiful view and delicious food. We'll be back.

We waited about 20 minutes until the menu was slammed down on the table without asking if we wanted a drink yet – and then he was gone. We had a wonderful meal here and enjoyed the stunning view. The service was excellent. We'd love to come back.

Four of us went there for dinner. We don't understand the bad reviews at all. Everyone agrees about the ambiance, but the food and service were also excellent. We were served very quickly, and the server was very attentive and friendly. The prices are totally reasonable (you don't pay for the view!). We'd be happy to come back.

The apple spritzer was completely stale and the cheesecake was old and dry. Luckily, we didn't consume any more.

We celebrated my wife's 50th birthday. Great restaurant, with a magnificent view. The three-course menu was delicious and plentiful. Well, I don't even know where to begin. When we arrived, we were greeted by the host, who was already pretty annoyed. We had reserved one of the bubbles for 8 people, and instead of greeting us nicely, he immediately contradicted us and said, "No, you reserved for 6 people!" I don't know who told him he could call us by our first names, but okay. The waiter who was there that day was very friendly and served us very nicely. Which can't be said for the host; every time he came out to smoke, we were stared at. Very unpleasant. Even when his wife came in later, she started doing it too. We had an event that day and had stuck a banner inside with Scotch tape, which came off really well. However, the host didn't like it and immediately asked us to take it down, otherwise we would have had to pay for its removal. Oh well, okay, we did. The food, however, was, to my surprise, very delicious. My cocktail, which I ordered, was made with ice cubes, even though everyone knows that you make a Caipirinha. Prepared with crushed ice, and the mint leaves were already a few days old, so I left them there. We didn't give a tip, as the owner pockets it himself instead of giving it to his waiter. That's really not right, so there was none. The next day, the landlady called us and said her cash register wasn't correct and asked us how much we had given. That's completely unacceptable; the cash register being incorrect isn't the guests' fault if they've paid their bill in full. And one more thing: there weren't many people there that day—about four more people than us, so 12 people. If you can't keep your cash register under control, I don't know what to do. The location in general is super nice, with a fantastic view. Overall, it was okay, but the owner clearly lacks a few personal qualities, like being nice and friendly to guests. Great view, good food, but very expensive considering it's actually a beer garden. The real problem, however, is this incredibly rude blonde waitress. She served us in an absolutely unfriendly and snippy way. It started when I ordered a Pepsi (as it says on the menu) and then she explained to me that I probably meant a Cola, Pepsi is just the brand. When we gave up the drinks, she quickly ran away, so quickly that we couldn't order the food anymore. Since we had to wait a relatively long time for it to arrive, we were already completely finished with the selection and of course wanted to order everything together. Since the drinks didn't come for a long time, another waiter asked us at some point if we would like to order and then sent them to us. She stood with the words “Well, don’t wait that long to let them come and get me.” When I said that we actually wanted to order the food straight away, but she ran away, she said, "No, we don't do that here anyway. You can't bombard the kitchen with orders." We were honestly at a loss for words. It wasn't super busy and there were only 4 of us. At the next table she rolled her eyes at the guests' orders. The lady got her beer from inside herself, which the waitress was also discussing. She spoke really rudely and condescendingly to the temporary workers and asked them to clear the table here. Not once did she come to us to ask if everything was okay or if we would like something more to drink. We also had to go in and let us know to pay. There the chef was yelling or yelling at another employee that he didn't want to make any more ice cream. Underground working atmosphere!!! I don't know who's to blame, but you're just running the place down. We won't be returning until I read from someone that the staff has been replaced. Except for the two nice male temporary workers, they made a real effort. Too bad! Great location, but unbearable with this staff.

The evening was marked by poor organization and inappropriate behavior by the owner. While the waiter was in the middle of discussing our order, the boss/owner loudly called him away twice - this shows how little consideration was given to the guests. It was clearly noticeable that there were too few staff. Instead of getting started, he sat there and smoked. In addition, we were only told the costs for plates and cutlery - but not that the igloo costs €40 extra. This information could neither be found online nor was it mentioned during the telephone consultation about cake (extra costs for cutlery and plates). When I asked the boss about it matter-of-factly at the end of the evening, he reacted very loudly, disrespectfully and condescendingly - completely inappropriate, especially since we were the last guests and wanted to celebrate a birthday. This is not how you treat paying guests. We will definitely never visit this restaurant again.

Simply outrageous. We wanted to celebrate Mom's birthday with the family, but that didn't happen. Endless waiting time (there was hardly anything going on), drinks were only partially served. We decided to leave and in the end we had to pay for the drinks and food for the children which was served after 1.5 hours. We sat for a total of 2.5 hours without food and sometimes without drinks. It's a shame because of the great view but we certainly won't go there again. To mention we had an hour's drive!

This can also be used to attract guests, but it is not enough to get them to come back. The service is tried hard, but the kitchen is inflexible and it looks like no trained restaurateur. Requests are not taken into account. Coleshaw is listed on the menu, but it cannot be ordered as an extra. You can't just order one scoop of ice cream 🍨, there are 3 scoops on the menu and that's the only one available. Too bad. The food is aesthetically decorated which looks very nice. Unfortunately, a mistake that you shouldn't make will also be responded to if you have completely different requirements. We had a tiramisu that was still frozen on the inside. After complaining, we were deducted a 10% discount on the grounds that we had already eaten it. That's too unprofessional. If we ever come back, we'll just have a drink. A little praise has to be given, we booked the bubble, it was very nicely decorated and we had a lovely evening.

My wife and I had dinner at “Aussichtsreich Wunnenstein” and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The view is particularly impressive – it really is a wonderful place to enjoy the sunset. We ate outside and everything from the starter to the main course was excellent. The quality of the food, the presentation and the taste were top. The service also deserves high praise: extremely friendly, attentive and regularly asking about our wishes without being intrusive. A thoroughly recommended restaurant with a fantastic setting – we will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Was there at the weekend with my partner. The cake had a strange aftertaste. Looked fresh though. We later had nausea after eating it. The lady at the service is very abrupt and doesn't make you feel comfortable as a guest. So the guests behind us were asked very bluntly whether they really just wanted to drink and not eat anything. We noticed that last time too, that the human atmosphere is not pleasant. The only nice thing is the view. Otherwise there probably wouldn't be so many guests here.

When we told the landlord this, his reaction was purely defensive, the salad had been freshly bought and he hadn't advertised the potato salad as homemade (it really tasted like a cheap potato salad from a bucket). No apology for the withered leaves, no solution found or an offer to make amends, he was then rude even though we had communicated it in a friendly manner. Last but not least, he even charged the full price and yelled at his new, very nice employee in front of the guests to answer the phone. Neither of the soups that were on the stand in front of the restaurant were available, but that wouldn't have been a detractor, but the rest would have been! I can now really agree with the negative reviews here. We're not going there anymore. We wish the employee all the best.

The menu was promising, then we also ordered something to eat. Due to a lack of staff, we were made to wait, which wouldn't have been so bad, it's really nice to sit there. We had to wait almost half an hour for the drinks, the food came after 1.5 hours, apple fritters and a tarte flambée, even though everyone in the restaurant had already eaten for a long time. Maybe it's an organizational problem in the company. So bring plenty of time and don't be hungry or thirsty ;)

On sunny Boxing Day we just wanted to enjoy a little drink up here with the most beautiful view. Unfortunately, after we had waited for some time, we were fobbed off in a rather unfriendly manner. After briefly asking whether we had to order inside and then take the drinks out ourselves, we were immediately told that we just had to be patient because the service was understaffed. If we wanted to get the drinks ourselves, we should sit in the deck chairs in the sandpit. Another large group also left the site in anger; they also appeared to have been turned away, even though there was little activity at the time. We made our way back to the parking lot without drinks and discovered a strange saying that was obviously intended to invite people to the inn. Are women not welcome here? What should that tell us? It's a shame that this fantastic location is so poorly managed...

Not only was the food incredibly delicious, but it was exactly as we had planned. It was prepared with attention to detail and looked fantastic. Our guests were thrilled! The decoration was an absolute highlight - every little detail was implemented exactly according to our wishes. It was beautiful and completed the atmosphere perfectly. We would particularly like to emphasize the excellent service. The team was always attentive and friendly throughout the entire celebration. We were particularly impressed by how naturally and lovingly they interacted with the children - even though we didn't expect or ask for it, the little ones felt completely comfortable. The view from this place is simply indescribable. She alone makes every celebration a special experience. For us, this restaurant has become a very special place where everything is perfect: the food, the view, the staff – everything. We would celebrate here again at any time and can recommend it without reservation! A big thank you to the entire team for this unforgettable celebration!

Great recommendation, we would love to come back. When we arrived we were immediately greeted in a friendly manner by a waitress and taken to a table. We got our tickets very early and were able to get our drinks, which were quickly at the table. After we made our decision, we were able to place our order quickly. The service was very nice and chatty throughout our entire visit. The food arrived quickly (citizen with fries, Flädle soup and a turkey schnitzel with cheese spaetzle). The bread was a bit greasy, so the bottom bread quickly became soggy, which I didn't find annoying. And in my opinion the fries were very well seasoned and fried (I like to eat well seasoned). The Flädle soup was very tasty. A bit bland for me, but there are spices at the table to spice things up. So me and my companion were able to match you appropriately. My companion really liked the turkey schnitzel and the cheese spaetzle was generous and complemented the schnitzel well. The view made the visit to the panoramic realm even better. You can look very far from the tables and discover a lot of beautiful things. We paid around 55 euros for 3 dishes and 3 drinks. Completely justified in terms of quality and service. We will definitely come back.

The only good thing is the location: nice view and nice outdoor area. However, the food is really not good! I ordered a Flädle soup, it was only lukewarm and tasted as if the Flädle had been lying around somewhere for 2 days. The broth was also tasteless and just salty :( My companions weren't very impressed with the food (cheese pätzle) either; salad was probably ok, but also a bit salty in places. In addition, the gentleman who took the order could have been a little friendlier.

We were very happy to host both the wedding ceremony and the celebration at this location. Then two months before, during the final arrangements, there was a rude awakening. No more feedback. After 3 email inquiries and a telephone request (managing director personally on the phone) to finally receive the last final offer, no more answers or reactions from the managing director. We still needed urgent information for the rest of the planning. Given the price category for this festival, such agreements should be a given. Since we were worried that we would be left behind completely shortly before the wedding and we didn't realize it after trying to contact us four times and begging for information, we canceled and have to change the location, wedding ceremony, etc. within two months. Plan completely from scratch. There wasn't even a response to the cancellation. I will neither pay thousands of euros for this nor recommend the location for parties. However, the food was always delicious, not to mention the view. This is fantastic. Luckily, we once again found a great new location with super reliable service at such short notice.

The only good thing is the view everything else was subpar. The food was poor quality and way too expensive. We had ordered a tarte flambée with our drink because we wanted to eat it for two. The waitress told us in English that this would cost €3 extra. That would have been 18 €! Unfortunately not recommended

We stayed in the igloo for a bachelor party. The view and ambience are really nice, and the waiters were friendly. Unfortunately the drinks were served lukewarm so we had to order ice cubes to cool them down. We later discovered that we had been charged €1.50 for this. We had brought our own cake and asked for empty plates, for which we were charged €28 for 8 plates. When I entered the open counter area to add something to the cake, I was rudely informed by the boss that the area was not allowed to be entered. Unfortunately, the experience was somewhat marred by the additional costs and the unfriendly treatment.

PURE DISASTER! The quality of the food is ok but the high price is not justified. The view is great when the weather is nice, but the interior is not recommended. However, Oberhammer is the boss of the shop. We had reserved and when we arrived everything was full and we felt unwelcome. The boss apparently has no plan on how to manage reservations. Furthermore, very unfriendly in dealing with the guests. Personally, I don't really like the fact that the boss sits outside every 30 minutes and smokes and doesn't even have the decency to look after new guests. So if you're looking for a restaurant with really bad service then go there. But for real it doesn't do that to you. You're just annoyed...

Contrary to the homepage, there are neither steaks nor a bakery there. There is food at the lowest level at an exorbitant price. Yes, the view is. good. This completes the description of the highlights. I recommend that the self-satisfied landlady take care of the cleanliness of the toilets.

We were very positively surprised by the friendly atmosphere and the really great view. The food was really the best we've eaten in the area recently. We would love to come back and can highly recommend a trip.
