Restaurant Alexander's in Bad Honnef

Ein etwas verstecktes Schmuckstück. Liebevoll renovierte ehem. Wartehalle. Schöne Terrasse. Essen sehr gut, kam schnell und war frisch und toll gewürzt. Personal sehr aufmerksam und sympathisch.

On hot days the large, shady trees make for really great outdoor tables. A bit noisy due to the traffic, but still bearable. Nowadays the portions of the food are sufficient and the prices are reasonable. Hats off, the first time in my life that ajvar was not included in a Balkan dish. Really weak! The service was friendly and attentive when reordering.

I agree the food was rather good. Unfortunatly the same could not be said of the service. It seemed we were an inconvenience to the staff, who appeared they'd rather look at their phones than serve us. My wife had to ask four times to have the Ladies toilet door unlocked, which is unforgivable.

My son and I had a delicious meal here. The food arrived at our table quickly. Tasty pizza for my son and pasta for me. Highly recommended if you fancy delicious Italian food.

Always enjoyed being here. The restaurant was actually the best thing about this truck stop. But unfortunately people are slowly adapting to the low level of the Aral Autohof. Deep-fried schnitzel from the fryer with soggy fries. Instead of the mayonnaise we ordered, there was a salad without asking and which had to be paid for. Unfortunately the card is no longer what it used to be. The sauce with the canned mushrooms was just as salty as the price. I'm definitely willing to pay a certain price level, but I demand at least a certain level of quality in return. And it's higher in the chip shop at my house. Then you'd better drive on to the Maxi Autohof. Too bad
