Restaurant Alexander's in Bad Honnef

Ein etwas verstecktes Schmuckstück. Liebevoll renovierte ehem. Wartehalle. Schöne Terrasse. Essen sehr gut, kam schnell und war frisch und toll gewürzt. Personal sehr aufmerksam und sympathisch.

Had a truly fantastic burger. Excellent service, partly via a delivery robot. Really nice.

The starter was okay. The salads for the main course were disappointing. A relatively large amount of lettuce leaves, with a large proportion of stalks, were rather bitter with an unclear dressing. The asparagus and strawberry salad from the daily special was overpowered by lumps of burrata. The service was impatient with the card reader and brazen in their attempt to solve the problem by shoving the reader in front of my guest. Maybe we were having a bad day, but overall it was disappointing.

Very tasty dishes, very friendly and attentive service!

We've been here several times on vacation. Prices are perfectly reasonable. Portions are generous. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. In short: it's a shame that there aren't any Italian restaurants in our hometown that can compete with our island hometown.
