I agree the food was rather good. Unfortunatly the same could not be said of the service. It seemed we were an inconvenience to the staff, who appeared they'd rather look at their phones than serve us. My wife had to ask four times to have the Ladies toilet door unlocked, which is unforgivable.

We went to the Inselheimat restaurant and I ate a salami pizza there. Thin, crispy dough tasted very good, at a good price-performance ratio. The other rice and noodle dishes also looked very good. Friendly service.

We came here for the first time based on a recommendation. Looking back, I really can't say what got us there. The waitress made such an arrogant impression, as if we were disturbing and the food? It really wasn't good 🥴 I had a salami pizza and it looked like they had taken a “ready-made salami” and simply thrown packaged cold salami slices on top. On top of that, it was very loud and anything but comfortable. It's a shame, we had really promised more of it.

It's normal, but nothing special...

The insularity is symptomatic; in many places in Germany, including here, people have not yet realized that there is an international bank payment system and that in many countries you can pay for everything, even small amounts, with many different cards. Here only with cash and German EC cards (original sound: Nothing German?). But the height of absurdity was that when we went out we were told that PayPal would also work. My PayPal account is tied to a credit card. Apparently there is an unfriendly ignorance and island existence here. I can only advise against it.

Best pizza in Bad Honnef and the surrounding area

Tennis clubhouse in a class of its own. Very good Italian with friendly and courteous staff. You can also go out for a great meal when you're not there to play tennis.

The restaurant can be reached on foot or by bike over a small bridge. There is a parking lot opposite the bridge. In summer you can sit on the terrace. From here you can see directly onto the tennis court, but that doesn't bother you. The spaghetti was on point. The pizza was delicious. The ice cream for dessert was beautifully presented. All of the dishes are technically solid, but rather comparable. After clearing up, we would have liked to have something to drink, but the waitress was standing at the counter and didn't come over to see us. So we had to wait longer until we could pay.

We came across the restaurant by chance. Since then, we eat here regularly. You are always greeted in a friendly manner. World class pizza and pasta!!!!! And all of this for relatively little money. Dear island home keeps going sooooo. We look forward to your next visit. Eq Alex and Sandor

Very good Italian on the island of Grafenwerth

It was our first time in this restaurant, but definitely not the last time. You can sit comfortably in the outdoor area with a view of the tennis court. The service is very friendly and quick. The food comes to the table at the same time. I have very rarely had a pizza where everything, really rarely, was perfect. I definitely had to thank the chef. Top top!!

I recently went to the Inselheimat restaurant in Bad Honnef and was really impressed. The pizza there is simply delicious. The dough was nice and crispy, but at the same time juicy - just right! The ingredients were fresh and well combined, you can really taste the quality. The other dishes we tried were also very tasty. Everything was freshly prepared and came to the table hot. The portions were just right and the price-performance ratio was right. The ambience of the restaurant is pleasant and inviting. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. All in all a great place for a relaxed dinner. I will definitely come back!

I recently had a pizza at this Italian restaurant and it was the best spinach pizza I've ever had! The dough was perfectly crispy, the toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the service was excellent. Highly Recommended!

Die Selbsabholung der Getränke funktioniert ganz gut . Wir hatten 5 Getränke bestellt und 6 wurden ausgegeben. Der Küchenwagen hat ein großes Organisatorisches Problem. 70 Minuten und das bestellte Essen war nicht in Sicht. Auf meine Beschwerde wurde mir sofort das Geld zurück gegeben . Allerdings ohne Trinkgeld. Es gab keine Entschuldigung sondern nur eine ruppige Antwort. Also nicht hungrig in den schönen Biergarten gehen. Der Biergarten war normal besucht .

Fantastic Italian specialties such as pizza, pasta and other delicious salads and great changing dishes in a relaxed atmosphere and great service on the island of Grafenwerth.

Unfortunately we didn't like it at all. The pizza was nothing special, the toppings were pretty sparse, the service was just okay. The best thing was the wine. Unfortunately, it's pretty dull inside and, due to the circumstances, very loud as soon as some tables are occupied. When the weather is nice, it's definitely nice to sit on the terrace.

The island home in Bad Honnef - I've been there from day one and am very happy to have such a great Italian in my area. The food is fantastic, whether pizza, pasta or a salad - you can tell that Alfonso knows his craft. The service is also loving and leaves nothing to be desired for guests. I am and will remain a regular here and can only recommend it to everyone.

Thank you thank you I'm happy to finally give 5 stars again.... an Italian who makes a great pizza with his knowledge and love. The dishes that were served to other guests visually created a bit of envy. The low prices compared to the size of the portions can't be beat. Service friendly, attentive and fast.

The best pizza in Bad Honnef. The indoor dining room is warm and cozy - it wasn't great weather today, but it was very pleasant inside.

Hm, I can't judge the place and the restaurant. Today we were in front of closed doors at 1 p.m. Aunt Google told us it was open. Sick? Vacation? Unfortunately we don't know. 🤔

Were there with 10 adults, 12 children and 3 dogs.

Wir wollten ein Bierchen trinken und eine Kleinigkeit essen. Als Honnefer können wir die schöne Lage jederzeit genießen, werden dort aber nicht mehr einkehren. Vom unfreundlichen Personal haben wir unsere Getränke bis auf das Pils bekommen und an den Tisch gesetzt. Gut , dass ich zur Toilette musste, damit hatte sich der Wunsch, etwas zu essen in Luft aufgelöst. Stinkend und dreckig ! Weder Toilettenpapier, Seife noch Papierhandtücher vorhanden; der Boden nass- wovon auch immer; leere Toilettenpapierrollen überall, Kabinen teils nicht abschließbar. Mit Hygiene scheint man hier nicht viel am Hut zu haben. Mein Blick in die "Küche" bestätigte diesen Eindruck. Muss jeder selber wissen, aber ich will mir nicht was einfangen.

The restaurant is a very idyllic wooden building with a view of the tennis courts and the Rhine. The food is very tasty and the drinks are nice and cold. Prices are expensive, but that's to be expected given the location. The service is good and fast.

Eater was ok, but the salad Mista was far too measly for the price. Almost only green lettuce leaves. Decoration is really wrong. Everything is a bit loveless.

The food itself was really good, as was the service. The location with the tennis court wasn't really a problem because you can always watch people playing there. But now the criticism: I'm vegan and that's why I ordered the spaghetti Aglio E Olio, because according to the menu it's supposed to be vegan. However, when you arrived they were showered with parmesame, which of course isn't even vegetarian. I had to swap with my friend and then ordered something for myself again. So please, if you sign it like that, please stick to it!

Heerlijke pizza. Goede service. Super goed tennis tijdens het eten gekeken. Nederlandse pinpas wil soms niet werken. Zeker de moeite waard om even het eiland op te gaan.

Italienisches Restaurant mit Tageskarte zusätzlich zur Standard Karte. Typische Gerichte Pizza, Pasta, Bruscetta etc. Die Gerichte die wir, 4 Personen gewählt haben waren sehr lecker. Service war freundlich und auf Zack. Ein Stern Abzug dafür dass keines der zwei Desserts verfügbar war. Scheinbar hatte der Lieferant nicht geliefert, schade aber kann passieren. Wenn das Dessert beim nächsten mal so gut ist wie der Rest gibt es 5 Sterne :).

Ich musste zweimal hinschauen, als der Flammkuchen tiefgefroren aus der Folie gezogen wurde. 12,50 Euro! Eine Woche zuvor hatte ich einen frisch zubereiteten Flammkuchen mit frischen Tomaten, Ruccola und Parmaschinken im Biergarten Salmenfang in Rheinbreitbach direkt am Rhein für den gleichen Preis bekommen. Super lecker!! Ferner war der Kartoffelsalat den ich bestellte, das billigste vom billigsten aus dem Supermarkt! Das Essen auf der Insel Grafenwerth ist definitiv nicht zu empfehlen!

Bratwurst mit pommes mittlerweile 9 EURO wobei die Wurst nicht durch war,und die Pommes die billigsten von billigsten . Sitz Stühle sowas von unbequem.

Tolle Italienische Küche mit top Qualität ABER Mussten alleine 20 min ,nach 3 maliger Erinnerung ,auf die Rechnung warten. Leere Gläser wurden nicht beachtet,Nachfrage für neue Getränke gab es nicht. Bei der Reklamation der Rechnung (eine Beilage wurde berechnet,die wir nicht bekommen haben) würde erstmal seitens der Chefin scharf diskutiert,bevor der Fehler eingesehen wurden ist. Leider hat diese ganze warte Zeit am Ende,das leckere Essen in Vergessenheit gebracht.

Vielleicht hatten wir Pech, aber vielleicht ist der Laden auch schlecht organisiert.... Wir mussten jedenfalls 45 Minuten für das Essen anstehen. Normalerweis kann man Essen bestellen uns sich dann ein Bier kaufen und in Ruhe warten bis ein Timer klingelt oder jemand vom Service die fertige Bestellung bringt. Hier leider nicht! Man steht an und muss warten bis alle Bestellungen vor einem fertiggestellt werden. Zudem finde ich 12,5 Euro für einen nicht besonders guten Flammkuchen aus dem Tiefkühler auch recht teuer. Wenn wir nicht zu zweit gewesen wären, hätte man sich anschließend mit seinem Essen in die Schlange vor der Bierbude (ja es wird wirklich aus einer Bude heraus verkauft) stellen können. Es gibt noch zwei Sterne weil die Atmosphäre der Insel den Laden noch rettet, obwohl ich einen silbernen Foodtruck nicht besonders estetisch für einen Biergarten finde.

Also so eine gute Pizza wie auch der Salat haben wir vorher noch nicht gegessen. Eine große Auswahl an Gerichten und Getränken. Personal freundlich und schnell und freundlich nachgefragt ob alles passt. Ein Manko ist vorhanden, die Toiletten sind im ersten Stock und müssten mal überholt werden dringend.

Salat Inselheimat war sehr lecker. Pizza ist knusprig und ansprechend belegt. Die Weinkarte ist übersichtlich aber ok.

Endlich wieder offen, eben ein Biergarten! Hat alles, was er braucht und eine perfekte Lage! Wir she’s sehr genossen! !!

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, sehr nette Wirtsleute.

Sind heute rein zufällig durch Rheinspaziert hier gelandet und waren begeistert. Sehr nette Inhaber/Bedienung, das Essen und auch der perfekt temperierte Rotwein war super lecker. Schon lange keine so gute Aglio Olio gegessen. Man sitzt sehr schön auf der Terrasse und wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf ein Wiedersehen.

Wurde darauf hingewiesen das man nicht gegrüßt hätte bevor man die Bestellung aufgegeben hat. Das geht garnicht und ist einfach nur frech. Da sollte man als geschultes Personal drüber stehen und sich einem Kunden gegenüber nicht belehrend verhalten, wenn man selber gerade frisch geschlüpft ist.

Beste sizilianische Küche mit tollem Service

Wir hatten uns, nach einer Radtour von Siegburg aus, auf eine Einkehr und ein erfrischendes Bier gefreut. Der Biergarten sollte laut Website um 16 Uhr öffnen. Wir kamen gegen 16.25 Uhr an. Geschlossen, kein Hinweis, ob oder ggfs. wann man denn öffnen würde. Sehr enttäuschend, da wir extra bis dorthin geradelt waren. Wertschätzung sieht anders aus!

Herzliches, familiäres Ambiente bei sehr leckerem und reichlichem Essen. Selten so warmherzig bedient worden. Sehr zu empfehlen. Meine Frau und ich waren begeistert.

Wir waren als größere Gruppe hier vor Ort zum Essen, bei einen phantastischem Sommerabend. Die Terrasse bietet hier eine schöne Sitzmöglichkeit, auch für größere Gruppen. Das Essen war soweit ok, nicht unbedingt ein Must-have-seen Lokal, faire Preise, freundliche Bedienung.

Nicht so freundliche Bedienung. Ein Stück Kuchen 7,50€, doch recht happig. Es war nur Barzahlung möglich.

Moin. Nach einem längeren Spaziergang war eine Erfrischung nötig. Ich hoffe ich bewerte das richtige Lokal! Ich bin dort ortsfremd. Wir waren im Tennisclub. Leider war dort keine Beschilderung, dass geöffnet ist. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste und das bei dem schönen Wetter und dem Ambiente! Ein Traum! Die Preise waren total ok. Ich hatte mich so darauf gefreut wieder in den Biergarten gehen zu können, jedoch ist das Personal unter der neuen Leitung mehr als unfreundlich. Es wurden Kunden tatsächlich angeschrien und äußerst respektlos behandelt. Habe sowas zuvor noch nie erlebt

Toll für einen kurzen Stopp, ruhige Lage abseits vom Trubel am Rhein-Radweg. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und leckere Kleinigkeiten zum Essen; gute Getränke; wir waren rundum zufrieden.
