Very nice and delicious traditional Persian Food.

We went to the Persian restaurant Alborz for the first time and were thrilled. We ordered a mixed platter for two people. The different types of meat (kebab, leg of lamb and poultry) were very good, juicy and deliciously seasoned. There were also four different types of rice, each of which was better than the other. We also ordered some dips, which were also fresh and very tasty. Afterwards there was pistachio ice cream with saffron with a note of rose flavor which was also very good. The service and the owner are friendly and attentive. The tea at the end also tasted very good. The prices are really fair for this delicious food. We would love to come back.

I did not find the taste of the food to be worth the effort and payment. The taste is normal, and maybe less than normal, and in order to be able to finish eating, I added a lot of flavorings. I wouldn't visit it again even if it was free.

The workers there were so receptive and guide you even if you aren't familiar with food in Hannover. I loved every action. They even offered me free tea as a first timer. Great place to relax and eat

The food is beautiful and tasty and has a wide choice. We took a large tray for 4 people and it came with two types of broth. The young man who owns the restaurant is nice and dealt with us.

The best Persian restaurant I have tried in Germany so far! They welcome you with bread, fresh herbs, and a sauce, and at the end with tea and dates. We tried the kabab koobideh, ghorme sabzi, and their special starter. All the best! They also accept card payments. Recommended 100%!👌🏻⭐️

The best Afghan and Iranian food

Excellent food: very varied with a selection of starters and a platter for 3 people as a main course. Very rich - would have been enough for 4 people :) Very reasonable prices and very friendly staff. All dishes were explained to us and the combination with each other was explained.

The food was delicious. Kebabs were juicy and tasteful. We had "koobideh kebab", "Joojeh kebab" and "barg kebab". Also "mast mousir" and "olive" for appetizers.

Besøgte restauranten med min kone. Vi fik en lækker kebab tallerken med alt i tradionelt persisk tilbehør. Det smagte virkelig godt, og var perfekt tilberedt. Og hvis min iranske kone roser Iransk mad, så er det virkelig et kvalitetsstempel. Og servicen og stemningen var også helt i top, så helt klart en restaurant der kan anbefales hvis man vil have persisk/Iransk mad.

To everyone who wants to eat Persian food in Hanover. This is one of the best Persian restaurants I have ever eaten in all of Germany. I've tried Persian food all over Germany and he's almost the only one who can cook Persian properly. Very good food. No discussion. Again and again.

I have been a regular customer for 10 years and am more than satisfied! I'm generally a critical person when it comes to restaurants and prefer to prepare things myself, but at Alborz I always order fillet and grilled meat has to be of high quality. If you love Persian cuisine, you MUST go to Alborz. There are only very bad alternatives in Hanover. Alborz is by far the best Persian in Hanover. As a customer, you often get an extra fillet as a gift and I am satisfied and happy with the punctual service. Taste is 10/10.

Eine neue gastronomische Entdeckung, die ich nicht missen möchte! Wir waren mitags mit einer Gruppe Frauen im Alborz. Zunächst beeindruckte mich die stilvoll zurückhaltende Eleganz, die die Innenraumgestaltung des Lokals auszeichnet - eher schlicht und puristisch, aber keinesfalls kühl. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen! Nach kurzer Wartezeit wurde Brot mit Dips und Zwiebeln gereicht, als Aufmerksamkeit des Hauses. Als Hauptgericht hatte ich Khoresht Geymeh bademjan gewählt. Das Lammfleisch war saftig und butterzart gegart, die Auberginen schmolzen förmlich auf der Zunge. Insgesamt war dieses klassische persiche Gericht pikant gewürzt, ohne aufdringliche Schärfe. Ich war vollends überzeugt von der Schmackhaftigkeit des Gulschs und möchte es gern weiterempfehlen. Abgerundet wird ein Restaurantbesuch im Alborz durch den ausgesprochen aufmerksamen und freundlichen Service. Ich komme unbedingt wieder, und sicherlich nicht allein!

After we have been there 3 times now, I would like to rate the restaurant. It is not too big, rather cozy and clear, so that the service can easily take care of each guest. We were passing through Vienna and were looking for good Persian restaurants in Hanover. This is where we became aware of the Alborz restaurant. Our choice was the lamb skewer and kubideh, and we were not disappointed. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The staff was attentive and gave us good advice when choosing dishes. The food was very good, freshly prepared and of the best quality. The flavors and spices harmonized perfectly and were reminiscent of traditional Persian cuisine. Overall, the visit was a complete success. The restaurant not only offers great food, but also a pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. It's definitely worth a visit and we'd love to come back!
