Whenever I visit Eisenhüttenstadt I go to the "Schnitzel-Wirtschaft". A very nice atmosphere and the good food will definitely make me come back here on my next visit.

May 11 - May 13, 2025 Booked a double room for 2 nights, as a single person, without breakfast Room attractive/adequate and nicely furnished * Arrival not until 5 p.m., not quite as cheap * Departure by 11 a.m., 1 point + * Young family in the next room, very loud, even at night - very unpleasant - Negative: It would have been desirable if the guesthouse operators had kindly reminded them to be considerate of other guests! 1 point deducted * Curtains too short on both sides, visually 1 point deducted * Trash can was emptied while I was away, but no new bag was put in it * Toilet flushed continuously after flushing * Bathroom otherwise clean! * TV not working - note when turning it on: refer to the manual to tune in and watch the TV program. No manual available OK - sure, you could have asked. Reception, which I didn't do - for me, the TV-free time was pleasant! (Still, it's a shame and inconvenient if you always have to ask for things to enjoy it; TV is standard!) * Positive: Very good Wi-Fi! * Small refrigerator/cube available for storing food brought with you * Positive: Back entrance with outdoor seating and ashtrays for smokers * Positive: Bedside lamps with touch function * No outdoor trash can * A small bouquet of flowers in the room would certainly create a more friendly atmosphere * Room clock above the entrance door doesn't work * 1-2 more power outlets would be helpful * I can't comment on the food + service / ambiance at the breakfast service in the attached restaurant, as I didn't take advantage of this service

Very poor selection of food - two dishes to choose from on the menu, different every day.

We had a small company party here. Service was great and the food was sufficient and very tasty.
