Absolutely delicious, that's all I can say... Next time I'm going for the giant roulade. The staff and service were incredibly friendly and fast. Special requests were no problem. I'll definitely be back soon. Maybe I'll even meet Redo himself sometime. 😁😁👍👍

Unfortunately, our visit to Redo XXL was very disappointing. We were treated rudely from the moment we arrived – we simply asked politely if there was a table available and were turned away in a truly impolite manner. We've never experienced such a reaction in a restaurant before. It's a shame, because we were actually looking forward to the visit, but after that reception, we lost all desire to eat there. Friendly service should be a given – but sadly, it was completely lacking here.

This is a truly fantastic restaurant! Super friendly service, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere is top-notch! 5 out of 5 stars!

XXL portions, but still delicious food; the schnitzel wasn't too thin, I was pleasantly surprised.

Why not 5 stars? - I can't really complain: we were there at lunchtime on a Saturday, and apparently that's not the busiest time. We also wanted to order takeaway. The service was friendly and accommodating. The three of us opted for the beef burgers – one each – two doubles and one single. The double burger isn't cheap at €20, but it's still reasonable for a burger that supposedly contains 300g of Angus beef. We were asked if we wanted cheese and bacon on the side, and we agreed without looking at the menu. And that was the mistake… it actually happened that we ended up with a bill for €72, and at first we thought there had to be a mistake. But no: the cheese and bacon alone came to a total of €18!! And you can't say that there was half a pork belly on the burgers. There were three, maybe four "regular" slices of bacon and some cheese sauce. That's why I'm not giving it 5 stars. It's a rip-off to me and not worth €6 per burger. The burgers are already expensive enough. The burgers were good... and big, too... €20-big-and-good?... well... Yes, maybe.

We had a table reservation, so there was no wait. The service was very friendly, and we got our drinks and food quickly. Unfortunately, the quality of the beef was very poor. The rump steak and the beef schnitzel were inedible. Just tendons and fat. We were told that it wasn't the chef's fault and that he didn't notice it beforehand. But who would? If I just throw fat and sinewy things on the grill and don't see it, that's pretty odd. Well, we're served for now and will go somewhere else to eat.

The ribs were very tasty, as were the side dishes. I would have preferred the 400g roast beef to have been presented a bit more attractively (it looked very jagged), and it also had a fairly high fat/cartilage content. My colleague would have preferred his 400g chicken schnitzel in one piece. The taste was very good, though. The ribs are top-notch! But nonetheless, it was very enjoyable. And the service was excellent!

It was very tasty and the service was good, but the price was a bit steep because we wanted fries instead of croquettes and that costs an extra €5-6 depending on the dish.

The service team was super friendly, even though I was really annoyed about the huge traffic jams and the lack of parking on the way there. The manager was personally in the store and chatted with the guests.

First, the positive: At Redo XXL Frankfurt, no one will go home hungry. The portions are very generous, and you're guaranteed to be full, no matter what you order. The food was decent, and the restaurant appeared clean and well-maintained. What seriously soured our visit, however, was the service, particularly from a member of staff who appeared to be acting as a head waitress and was responsible for our group that evening. Although the restaurant, including the outdoor area, was about 70 percent full, she seemed overwhelmed from the start and treated us with a noticeably unfriendly and condescending manner. Even during our first drink order, members of our group were rudely interrupted and inappropriately asked about drink sizes or combinations. The tone was more reminiscent of an annoyed teacher in front of a noisy class. At first, we thought it was a joke, but as the evening progressed, it became clear that this wasn't the case. The drinks took a long time to arrive. When some of the food was finally delivered, the food order had to be submitted under considerable time pressure. Questions about portion sizes were answered brusquely, for example with the comment, "Then you've come to the wrong place." This feeling of making a mistake with every question irritated us and significantly dampened the mood. Shortly after, the rest of our group arrived. However, it wasn't possible to take all the orders together. We also overheard several loud conversations among the staff. Employees were instructed in a less than friendly manner to clear tables or to point out unfinished drinks. Of course, catering is stressful, but we doubt that this fits the concept of an experiential dining experience. As already mentioned, the food was fine. But it lacked one crucial ingredient: genuine hospitality. One of the few questions we were asked during the course of the evening, after about 15 minutes, was: "Is everyone ready for their meal?" That was telling. The treatment of the children in our group was particularly disappointing. They received little attention, their drinks were forgotten, and overall, the impression was created that they weren't taken seriously as guests. The entire visit was rather stressful for everyone. We hope the employee in question was simply having a bad day or was struggling with personal circumstances. We wish her the opportunity to return to her job with renewed motivation and friendliness. We hope Redo XXL Frankfurt will treat guests better in the future. Because even if you're full, you should still feel welcome as a guest.

We spontaneously visited Frankfurt Oder on our motorcycle tour, and most of the restaurants were closed on a Monday. We were all the more pleased to be able to sit outside in the beautiful weather. The service was fast and very friendly, and the food was very good, but the portions were huge. The house lemonade and cocktails are highly recommended. Thanks for a lovely evening. We were able to take a digestive stroll right along the nearby Oder River.

A group of eight of us spontaneously dropped by after a trip to Poland. The service was great, the portions were huge, and we loved it. We always eat at Redo after the Polish market. The quality and price in Poland can't compete with them. Their own ice cream is definitely recommended. See you next time.

Really mega portions. Eat it yourself? Impossible! And tasty and affordable (taking into account the size of the portions, of course). I recommend it.

Fantastic asparagus. The hollandaise sauce is a bit too salty for me. However, I must admit that overall a surprisingly good restaurant. Everything is fine: nice service, large portions, fair prices, good taste, nice place for Frankfurt ;)

The name says it all, there are no small portions. The Viennese style schnitzel was good, the fries were large and crispy. Everything was freshly made, so there was a bit of a wait. You can also share the portions, the extra plate is free. Really suitable for normal hunger.

I was there today with my family, 5 adults + 5 children for my granddaughter's birthday. Everyone was happy 😁 Service made a great effort even though the house was full and there were only a few staff. Simply great and thank you for the lovely evening. We will come again.🤗😏

If you want to eat large portions, the perfect shop but as soon as you want normal portions, the price performance is no longer suitable for 23€ 200g chicken, which is not even the size of your hand, with a huge portion of fries and what feels like a 500ml sauce, we think the price is too expensive

We had an XL Kaiserschnitzel with seasoned beef and cheese, which was ultimately too much. It was super delicious, if you like seasoned beef. The plate was about 40 cm in diameter, judging by the photo. It looks smaller. I'm a glutton, but I really couldn't eat the fries after all. Highly recommended! Next time, I'll have the paprika cream... Next time, it was the Kaiserplatte. There were three of us, and we took on the challenge of the 70x40 cm tray.

First: I find the XXL concept difficult for various reasons. I can imagine that a lot of food ends up in the organic waste bin. Now to the food: I had Königsberger Klopse with Kapü. Two quite small meatballs and practically two portions of mashed potatoes are a bit weak for the price asked, the meatballs could really be larger or just three or four of them could end up on the plate. Everything was delicious, although the sauce seemed a bit too salty, but that's also a matter of taste. Why the side salad was an island in the sauce was and is a mystery to me. By the way, the service was super friendly and the table outside was pleasant. Oh yes: Redo has the trendiest menu I've seen in a long time. Ergo: Experience completely okay, but not my type of restaurant.

Redo, simply awesome! Service was absolutely nice, relaxed and extremely friendly. The ambience was very good. My mushrooms were very good, despite the fact that the breading was too much for little mushroom. The food was simply super delicious, the schnitzel was perfect, as if I had made it myself. The ribs, a dream! We'll be back!

Overall, we can recommend the Redo in Frankfurt (Oder). I really liked the atmosphere in the basement, especially the large blackboard with the Old German script! The staff on site was very friendly and took good care of us. The grill plate itself was well stocked. What we didn't really like was the liver, unfortunately it was still raw and the spare ribs were very dry. For my part, I can also recommend the mushroom cream sauce. We raised the two points that we didn't like with the staff on site and were offered to get the things new again. Unfortunately, the grill plate is too much for two people, even if they are very hungry. I was also pleasantly surprised that provisions were made for this situation here too; you can take the “leftovers” with you afterwards. All in all, you can really eat very well and extensively there.

The food is really tasty, the service was also very quick, so almost everything was great. There was only one thing that wasn't so nice, namely the front door. It's so loud, you can hear it in the far corner of the restaurant. Something definitely has to be done. 😉

I ordered a Kaiserplatte and a giant schnitzel for lunch for my birthday. It's great that there are now warming containers. Everything was tasty, the salad went into two bowls, just a joke. I would have been happy if vegetable side dishes were offered, then my buffet would have been perfect, maybe think about it. We had previously eaten in the restaurant, service was friendly and quick, the atmosphere was nicer than in the Ratskeller. Can be further recommended.

We were guests at a company celebration and of course we had reserved beforehand. Unfortunately the date was mixed up - this can happen. Now suddenly we were standing there & still there was room for around 30 people & we had a great evening. The service was consistently very friendly & helpful. The food was great! The name says it all, portions in sizes that far exceed the scope of a classic meal. So if you are looking for the supposed “challenge” of gluttony, you will find it here. The service is very friendly, courteous and attentive. The ambience is nice, the dining room is bright and nicely decorated and the toilets were also clean. Only the hand soap was empty. The price/performance ratio is absolutely fine considering the portions and the menu also offers various and creative dishes. However, the selection for vegetarians is manageable, the focus is on meat. I had a schnitzel. The breading was crispy and the meat juicy. Croquettes were ok, the sauce was too jelly-like for me and unfortunately there was no taste of the mushrooms. The drink selection and prices are good and reasonable. A reservation can be easily made via Google. Conclusion: If you're looking for a challenge when it comes to eating a lot of food or if you're looking for a lot of meat at a fair price, this is the right place for you. Thanks to the service team, we had a good evening with you.

I visited the Redo ffo with a large group on November 9th, 2024. As always, the food was great, but I would still like to mention one thing. Great respect to the young, long-haired, blonde service worker. She has great control over the store and knows how to deal with the guests. My feeling was that she rocked the place almost alone. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the other older, dark-haired colleague, she was quite annoyed and showed it to the guests, at least she was quite harsh towards us. Well, nonetheless, the experience at Redo is always a highlight and everything tastes very good. MFG

Leider war das Fleisch auf dem Salat sehr knorpelig und kaum essbar. Schlimmer war jedoch der Service. Die Kellnerinnen sind nicht gerade freundlich und man hat das Gefühl, ungewollt zu sein. Dringend das Servicepersonal schulen oder auswechseln. Definitiv keine Weiterempfehlung.

The two of us were there today and once again ordered the 2kg schnitzel, as we have often done before. When it arrived we were first confused about the tiny portion! After everyone cut off a piece, we were even more confused because there was only half of the schnitzel left? We contacted the service twice and asked whether 1kg had been forgotten and we were told twice that that was 2kg of schnitzel! We both ended up eating everything and were still hungry afterwards! We also know that in the end we didn't each have 1kg of meat! Something has definitely been forgotten. In the end we still got full because the 3L column gave us the rest! Please be careful if you order large dishes to ensure that the quantities are appropriate! However, it was also the first negative experience in the redo! Stay healthy :D

I had the Liver , and I think this was the best dish on the menu, however my friends where happy with theirs and got XXL as expected. The service was friendly and fast. The cocktails where little overdone with sugar syrup

Went there before the classical concert, it was just great and very child-friendly (menu) and you can recommend it with a clear conscience

The food was, as always, a dream, steak fried to perfection, side dishes crispy and sauce very tasty. Only the service, which, Berliner Schnauze like, had a sometimes unfriendly tone, caused one star less here. It is also not customary, regardless of age, to use first-name terms with guests in such a location.

As always, the food tasted great. Price/performance is right and so is the service.

We were there last night and were greeted with the sentence there was nothing left to eat. We just wanted to have a drink anyway and were served in a friendly manner, but at 9.50 p.m. locks were thrown on the other tables and we were charged and we had to leave the restaurant at 9.50 p.m. Apparently there is no longer any need to be friendly with guests here.

Absolute disaster, unfriendly reception because we wanted to eat an hour before closing time; Burger was well cooked even though it was ordered medium. During the meal, the waitress started connecting the chairs to the neighboring tables (outside). No asking if the food was tasty, no apology for the miscommunication with the kitchen; The whole time we had the impression that the two employees just wanted to get off work, even though there were other guests there. Risk of repetition = zero, as worst service ever

We registered for Sunday lunch with a group of 41 people and pre-ordered what and when we would like to eat. We only ordered drinks “spontaneously” on site. Not only did the entire order arrive complete and without a single mix-up, but it was also on time to the minute. The service was extremely friendly, quick and patient with the young people in our group and the food was of typical good Redo quality. In terms of price, it was totally affordable for so many people because of the large plates and the atmosphere outside at Brunnenplatz was very cozy. Absolute recommendation for groups, such a friendly and flexible team on site!

Unfortunately, service took a long time to arrive. And preferred to chat with colleagues rather than bring us the card. A waitress only came when we asked. The meals were not satisfactory.

Two stars for the food because it was hot, tasty and the portions were sufficient. Otherwise you notice that quantity and not quality counts in this restaurant. 2/3 of a medium steak was cooked through and only the thicker part was as desired. For the price of around 40 euros that shouldn't be the case. I would like to emphasize here that price and performance are not well balanced. Service gets three stars because we got a table for 9 people within 10 minutes unannounced and therefore without a reservation. The place was full. Tables were put together for us. The deductions are because the team management from the service made derogatory comments about the team members in our presence. Criticism is good, but not in front of the guests. Mistakes or unfavorable situations should not be made public by a team management; something like that is covered up and sorted out in the staff room or something. After the first call, our waitress was completely off track and seemed unfriendly and absent. When we subsequently paid with a card, we were told we would get an invoice, but we didn't get it. When I paid I couldn't understand how much it cost (we also had children's portions). The atmosphere is cozy but also very social. With niches here and wooden stools there. Even though we were sitting close to the other families, we didn't feel like we could spit on each other's plates. The acoustics of the location barely allow you to listen to the conversations at the table next door, which worked really well. Uneaten food can be packed up and the staff will provide you with containers.

It goes like this and the waitress really tells my children (and other children in the store) that they should please be quieter because they also have to work 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ That was just because they both laughed briefly because they were playing a game on their cell phones. The same thing happened a table away and she even rolled her eyes!! I don't think it's okay and it has shaped us!!!

Wir waren das erste Mal bei Redo XXL. Ich bin ein guter Esser....aber das war nicht zu schaffen. Das Essen, die Bedienung und das Ambiente waren sehr gut. Über Preis Leistung möchte ich nicht Urteilen, da es uns darum nicht ging. Ich finde es schön, das Redo darauf vorbereitet ist, das die Leute Ihr restliches Essen mitnehmen möchten und nicht alles in der Mülltonne landet. Von mir gerne auch 10 Sterne.

Essen war lecker. Portionsgrösse entsprach der Karte. Bedienung war schnell, effizient und nett. Ich war Jahre nicht mehr hier gewesen, aber wir kommen gern wieder.

War lecker, reichhaltig und preislich völlig in Ordnung. Wir waren in einer recht großen Gruppe von 20 Personen dort und es hat alles super geklappt. Gerne wieder.

Ich habe in einer kleinen Gruppe das Restaurant besucht. Die Auswahl ist hervorragend, die Portionen ordentlich. Das Personal ist TOLL! Alle Mitarbeiter waren super und verstehen ihren Job zu 100%. Ich habe mir das kleine Rumpsteak bestellt und bewusst MEDIUM erbeten. Der Garpunkt war grandios, leider war das Steak im Kern noch eiskalt. Ich habe es so gelernt, das Steakfleisch auf Zimmertemperatur vorgehalten und dann auf MEDIUM gegart wird, so bleibt der Kern nicht auf Kühlschranktemperatur. Das Fleisch an sich war trotzdem sehr gut, bis zum letzten Stück, in dem sich eine Silberhaut befand, die nicht einmal mit dem Steakmesser zerlegbar war. Ich verstehe, dass Produkte verwertet werden sollen, solch ein Stück gehört aber in der Form nicht auf den Teller eines Gastes...so würde ich es auch nicht machen. Ca. 20% des Fleisches verblieben so auf dem Teller und wurden kommentarlos entsorgt. Auch beim Garpunkt Medium muss der Gast nicht in kaltes Fleisch beißen. Trotzdem werde ich erneut das Restaurant aufsuchen und hoffe dann (trotz MEDIUM) auf ein besseres Erlebnis.

Als Erstes..die Bedienungen/Service lässt keinen Raum für Kritik ..erste Sahne die Mädels !!! Aber das Essen ist zu einer Katastrophe geworden auch wenn wir lange Jahre dort zu Gast waren, war es jetzt das letzte Mal..! Die Garnelen schmeckten fischig,waren hart wie die blaue Seite des Radiergummis und nässten fürchterlich...Auch die Chicken Wings waren sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig in Geschmack Farbe und Konsistenz..sie erweckten den Eindruck als waren sie ein zweites Mal gegart,waren pfurztrocken und hatten die Farbe von Kastanien...die Soßen zu beiden Gerichten waren ebenfalls grauenvoll ...das kannten wir anders vom Frankfurter Redos ..Alles in allem war es eine absolute Enttäuschung die den Preis nicht rechtfertigt...Nichts für ungut aber diese dicke Kohle die ihr dort immer von uns bekommen habt geht jetzt woanders hin...ehrlich..MfG

Man ich habe noch nie soviel gegessen wie bei Redo XXL. Gott sei dank war meine Frau mit mir dort und selbst zu zweit hatten Schwierigkeiten das ganze zu essen. Ein bißchen Salat mussten wir stehen lassen. Drei Preis dafür war angemessen. Also bis später meine lieben Leser.

Wir waren restlos begeistert. Der Service war super nett und das Essen erstklassig. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Bedienung ist wirklich top, sehr aufmerksam und angenehm. Ich kann nur die Vorspeise bewerten, ein Hauptgericht hätte ich nicht geschafft. Hatte Kartoffelspalten mit zweierlei Dips. Portion war sehr groß, nicht fettig. Also wer mega Appetit hat, ist hier richtig.

Wir haben hier XXL-Gerichte gegessen und das Essen hat uns auch gut geschmeckt, wobei man leider merkt, umso größer man die Portion wählt, desto mehr nimmt auch die Qualität des Fleisches ab. So war es zumindest bei meinem Schnitzel, 1/4 davon war leider nur Fett. Man kann aber auch eine normale Portion von allen Gerichten nehmen. Man kann hier hauptsächlich Fleischgerichte bestellen, es gibt auch Salate und ein paar vegetarische Gerichte aber nichts Veganes. Die hausgemachten Limonaden kann ich sehr empfehlen, die schmecken wirklich super. Die Speisekarte ist eine Art Heft, meiner Meinung nach viel zu überladen mit Bildern und Texten, sodass man teilweise schon suchen muss was davon Werbung und was das Essen ist, dass man bestellen kann. Ich persönlich finde schlichte, einfach gehaltene und übersichtliche Speisekarten einfach schöner. Der Service war sehr schnell, freundlich und kompetent. Man hat gemerkt, dass die Kellnerin Spaß und Motivation bei der Arbeit hatte, das fand ich super. Wir waren zur Mittagszeit an einem Sonntag da, da war es auch fast leer. Die Qualität des Essens könnte besser sein und die Speisekarte hochwertiger/übersichtlicher, aber ansonsten waren wir zufrieden.

To miejsce, to absolutnie obowiązkowy przystanek jeśli jesteście we Frankfurcie nad Odrą. Nie dajcie się zwieść. Wagi podane przy daniach to masa tylko i wyłącznie mięsa. XD Frytki najlepsze na świecie! Currywurst nas w sobie rozkochała. Sznycel bardzo dobry. Będziemy wracać i polecać! ;)

Ihr seid doch verrückt !!! Was für Portionen. Ich kann nur jedem raten " nehmt Hunger mit !!!!!" Ich werde definitiv bei uns in Berlin dem Tempel der "kleinen" Portionen mal aufsuchen 🙂
