The food was very nicely prepared and we were also very satisfied with the taste. Staff friendly and attentive.

The ambience is a little old but it doesn't look bad, it's more rustic. The dishes were all very lovingly prepared and all very tasty. I had the black pudding as a starter and the zander fillet as a main course and both were very harmonious. The decoration of the plate was not intrusive but nice and something different (carrots and radish spagetti). Any intolerances were well addressed and could be discussed (with the chef personally, which always makes me feel good) There was a nice offer for the children so they could keep themselves busy and they were also treated in a friendly manner. The service staff was very nice at all times and the tables were also beautifully set up. Service was always close by and gave the feeling of always being approachable. We would be happy to come back at the next opportunity.

Spent a lovely day here with the family. Rustic, very well-kept atmosphere. We had reserved, there were already children's chairs and cutlery prepared for the little ones. To our surprise, coloring books and pens were also available. In the entrance area there is a box with games, coloring books and books to read aloud. Both the staff and the guests gave us the feeling that the children were welcome. There was something for everyone during the meal. Allergies and intolerances could be discussed with the chef. He gave a very competent impression and was able to implement all of our wishes to our satisfaction. Everyone enjoyed it very much. In our opinion, it's worth a visit and we'll be happy to come back if we get the chance.

Went for coffee late on Sunday afternoon today. Good coffee, large piece of cake, whipped cream, super fast service. The best thing was the coffee with the cakes!!👍and an amaretto to say goodbye 🙏👍I would love to come back here. Greetings from Berlin

Fine dining category at an absolutely fair price. Great caramelized sheep cheese, fresh salad, great flavors. The veal liver cooked to perfection with buttery mashed potatoes and a pleasant jalapeno spiciness. The dessert was a dream. Refined with various spices, chocolate cakes with a melting center, tonka bean sponge cake, strawberry cream, berries and the whole thing is artfully decorated. Highly recommended. We still know this restaurant as “Kartoffelhaus” but we were also very happy with our selection in “KroCo”. Also recommended with the new operator...

We enjoyed a great meal here at Christmas. All very fine and delicious! The top hammer was the dessert with Mouse. Everything was put together perfectly and there was a taste explosion of the finest kind! Unfortunately, the service staff couldn't tell us everything that was on the plate (were the delicate white rosettes cheese?), but in any case the chef conjured up a fantastic creation! Thanks

KroCo is a cozy and rustic restaurant with friendly, quick service. The waitress gave our five-year-old a coloring book and crayons right at the beginning to help bridge the waiting time. With a reservation, five of us had lunch. Large portions were served that were lovingly and creatively prepared. Everyone enjoyed it.

I didnt eat anything , only had a coffee but it didn't like the place too much. We didn't even know if it was open it looked so empty on a Saturday afternoon. The waiters were nice and everything was clean but I didn't like the place at all. Average coffee costs over 5€

It was our first visit to KroCo and we can say that we would like to come back. It is a small restaurant and nicely decorated, it should be mentioned that there are some steps within the dining room which could be tricky for people with visual or walking difficulties. @KroCo maybe you could mark the steps again for better visibility. 🙂 The food was of a very good quality that is unparalleled in the area. With a starter/main course and a coffee drink afterwards, a price of just over €80 for two people was completely justified. Due to an intolerance to walnuts, we asked them to leave them out, which wasn't a problem for the KroCo team. 👍🏻 In addition, everyone from the team there was extremely courteous and attentive. We would be happy to come back and hope that everyone who reads this will have an equally good time at KroCo. 😌👍🏻

We were here at the weekend and loved it. Here you really get something for your money. You can tell: the chef knows his craft. It doesn't taste like any run-of-the-mill kitchen. Here you are also willing to pay a few euros more for this unique taste. We'd love to come back :)

The dish (pull pork) was good, the BBQ sauce was very good, the accompanying salad was also OK, but half of the meat dish consisted of onions - they don't belong there, and if they do, then only with caution. That's why it's too expensive (only 3 small baguette slices as a side dish). Otherwise there is little choice and the prices are not fair.

At the city festival...unfortunately it was very impossible to be turned away...and a €2 toilet fee for strangers is becoming more than cheeky

New name, but old house and old interior and ambience. No music in the background. Food was good/okay. Price-performance ratio was just not right. The service was okay. But: shortly before 10 p.m. the tables were cleared away and the cushions were completely collected and brought in. It felt a bit like being kicked out.

The previous potato house had a better selection but that's a matter of taste.

Our anticipation was justified. A very tasty offer. Try the surprise dessert. You won't just be surprised, you'll be impressed. The food was very tasty, as was the dessert. Fairly strange place Stood completely confused waiting to get a table Made eye contact several times but nothing So I just sat down anyway and was sent over to another table Their menu is not very large but a lovely view of the river that divides Poland and Germany But when I get my food, I ordered a schnitzel Then I get something that looks nothing like a schnitzel I've ever had before There was some weird cheese and pork on top of a not very big schnitzel And you get the wettest salad on the same plate, which just makes all the fries completely wet and the schnitzel too Overall So me and Kenneth Hansen are fairly disappointed Wasn't full at all The bays are not even particularly cold I wasn't a fan They are maybe 9-10 degrees warm So not even refrigerator temperature Kenneth Hansen was not as offended as I was Big disappointment

The salad with pulled pork was delicious - the schnitzel with seasoned meat was unfortunately served on top of the fries, which made them sticky. The Riesling from Brandenburg: great!!

The prices are reasonable for what you get! The schnitzel in particular is a real highlight. The children's plates are generous and cost less than 10 euros. Ambience and service are excellent!

Forgotten a table reservation, service not good (empty glasses are not cleared away, extra food offers are not mentioned), food was okay so far, but the quality has deteriorated a bit... What a shame!

The potato house used to be there. Then the owner changed. It's a bit loud in KroCo. There is also WiFi if you ask the waiter for the password. I enjoyed the seasonal asparagus soup offer best. There were even pieces of asparagus in the asparagus soup.

I was there with my wife last night because the service was very friendly and really nice, but what's the point if the chef isn't right. My schnitzel with spiced meat was okay but my wife's meal was not good at all. Halibut with risotto was an absolute disaster. Greetings to Chef Martin He should get his teaching money back. Something like that shouldn't happen after 20 years of professional experience and then he doesn't have the balls to confront us

Unfortunately I can only give 3 stars for the service. The service was very nice and reliable but the waiting time for the food, 1 1/2 hours, is simply too long. The food was very tasty and sufficient. The location of the restaurant is very nice but no one wants to wait that long for their food.

The whole park is very beautiful, huge. The small lake filled with boats. Rather cute. Wheelchair users should have a motor. Is mountainous. Restaurants around the lake. Musicians spread a good atmosphere.

New name, old place. It's a shame that the new owner hasn't made the restaurant a little better. A lot can be made up for by the great commitment of the service and the kitchen crew, but the rooms are simply worn out and old. Unfortunately not suitable for larger groups. Maybe things will be different.

Recently opened, tried it out and found it to be really good. The inside is largely furnished like the potato house of that time. The map is clear but very interesting and different to other Frankfurt locations. It doesn't always have to be 10 pages of food. The portions are great and sufficient and the price-performance ratio is just right. Very tasty food, freshly prepared and friendly, fast service. Definitely will come back there again. Then in summer on the sun terrace, directly on the Holzmarkt on the Oder. Highly recommended!

Today was the first time I went to the newly opened restaurant right on the Oder, right next to the Kleistmuseum. It is very comfortably furnished, you feel welcome. The service was great, very nice and friendly and attentive. The food was special. We came here specifically because we know who cooks here :) We had halibut and lamb. Very good. Fresh ingredients, prepared with passion. And of course there was also the dessert surprise. Must be;) Thanks. We'd love to come back

Today we had a very good meal again at Christoph Kudla's - unfortunately no longer in the "Krug zum Schlaubetal" in Mixdorf - now in the "Kroco" in Frankfurt. At the end there was of course his great surprise dessert. A thank you also to everyone else from the nice staff!

Very nice staff and very tasty food. Rustic atmosphere, very cozy. Nice selection of vegetarian dishes. But of course also for meat eaters. Vegan is also possible. The wine selection could be a little better. I would love to come back.

Six of us had dinner here today with our children. The ambience is inviting and beautiful. As expected, the staff is super friendly and always on hand. The menu is manageable. Which we really liked. Because too many dishes make the decision difficult 😀. The food was brought to the table within 30 minutes. Everything was fresh and beautifully prepared and extremely tasty. Best regards to the chef and his team - they know how to make a meal perfect and unforgettable. We agree that we would like to come back 😉

Today, March 1st, 2024, there was a big reopening of the KroCo (formerly the potato house) and it was great. Chef Kudl has once again managed to delight us with his creations. The staff is very nice. The restaurant is highly recommended. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Ich war 5 Tage in Frankfurt (Oder). Der erste Tag endete nicht gerade kulinarisch, näher möchte ich darauf nicht eingehen. Über die Suche fand ich das Frankfurter Kartoffelhaus, welches sehr vielversprechend aussah. Ich habe 4 Abende dort gegessen und bin wirklich ein Fan geworden. Das Wort "lecker" ist eigentlich nicht so mein Wort, aber ich kann das Essen nicht anders beschreiben. Ob Steak Au Four, Hähnchenschnitzel oder Geflügelleber, ich weiß sind nur drei, das Steak Au Four hatte ich zweimal😉,war das Essen immer sehr schön angerichtet und große Portionen und sehr schmackhaft. Über Lage und Ambiente haben ja Andere schon genug geschrieben. Das Team ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Von mir.... volle Empfehlung. Schade, dass ich wahrscheinlich nicht so bald wieder nach Frankfurt (Oder) komme aber wenn, auf jeden Fall.......
