We were pleasantly surprised, it was very tasty 😋 would be happy again. Staff also very accommodating. Ambiance could be a little nicer, chairs more comfortable, I'm short and sit very low outside at the tables😎

New name, but old house and old interior and ambience. No music in the background. Food was good/okay. Price-performance ratio was just not right. The service was okay. But: shortly before 10 p.m. the tables were cleared away and the cushions were completely collected and brought in. It felt a bit like being kicked out.

At the city festival...unfortunately it was very impossible to be turned away...and a €2 toilet fee for strangers is becoming more than cheeky

The previous potato house had a better selection but that's a matter of taste.

Our anticipation was justified. A very tasty offer. Try the surprise dessert. You won't just be surprised, you'll be impressed. The food was very tasty, as was the dessert. Our service was very friendly and the atmosphere made you feel comfortable. It's great that we have such an offer in our city. Stay true to your principles, that's exactly the right thing to do. Fairly strange place Stood completely confused waiting to get a table Made eye contact several times but nothing So I just sat down anyway and was sent over to another table Their menu is not very large but a lovely view of the river that divides Poland and Germany But when I get my food, I ordered a schnitzel Then I get something that looks nothing like a schnitzel I've ever had before There was some weird cheese and pork on top of a not very big schnitzel And you get the wettest salad on the same plate, which just makes all the fries completely wet and the schnitzel too Overall So me and Kenneth Hansen are fairly disappointed Wasn't full at all The bays are not even particularly cold I wasn't a fan They are maybe 9-10 degrees warm So not even refrigerator temperature Kenneth Hansen was not as offended as I was Big disappointment

I don't think the location is that good. But the food was great. But I think it's too expensive.

The prices are reasonable for what you get! The schnitzel in particular is a real highlight. The children's plates are generous and cost less than 10 euros. Ambience and service are excellent!

Forgotten a table reservation, service not good (empty glasses are not cleared away, extra food offers are not mentioned), food was okay so far, but the quality has deteriorated a bit... What a shame!

The potato house used to be there. Then the owner changed. It's a bit loud in KroCo. There is also WiFi if you ask the waiter for the password. I enjoyed the seasonal asparagus soup offer best. There were even pieces of asparagus in the asparagus soup.

I was there with my wife last night because the service was very friendly and really nice, but what's the point if the chef isn't right. Unfortunately I can only give 3 stars for the service. The service was very nice and reliable but the waiting time for the food, 1 1/2 hours, is simply too long. The food was very tasty and sufficient. The location of the restaurant is very nice but no one wants to wait that long for their food.

The whole park is very beautiful, huge. The small lake filled with boats. Rather cute. Wheelchair users should have a motor. Is mountainous. Restaurants around the lake. Musicians spread a good atmosphere.

New name, old place. It's a shame that the new owner hasn't made the restaurant a little better. A lot can be made up for by the great commitment of the service and the kitchen crew, but the rooms are simply worn out and old. Unfortunately not suitable for larger groups. Maybe things will be different.

Recently opened, tried it out and found it to be really good. The inside is largely furnished like the potato house of that time. The map is clear but very interesting and different to other Frankfurt locations. It doesn't always have to be 10 pages of food. The portions are great and sufficient and the price-performance ratio is just right. Very tasty food, freshly prepared and friendly, fast service. Definitely will come back there again. Then in summer on the sun terrace, directly on the Holzmarkt on the Oder. Highly recommended!

Today we had a very good meal again at Christoph Kudla's - unfortunately no longer in the "Krug zum Schlaubetal" in Mixdorf - now in the "Kroco" in Frankfurt. At the end there was of course his great surprise dessert. A thank you also to everyone else from the nice staff!

Today was the first time I went to the newly opened restaurant right on the Oder, right next to the Kleistmuseum. It is very comfortably furnished, you feel welcome. The service was great, very nice and friendly and attentive. The food was special. We came here specifically because we know who cooks here :) We had halibut and lamb. Very good. Fresh ingredients, prepared with passion. And of course there was also the dessert surprise. Must be;) Thanks. We'd love to come back

Very nice staff and very tasty food. Rustic atmosphere, very cozy. Nice selection of vegetarian dishes. But of course also for meat eaters. Vegan is also possible. The wine selection could be a little better. I would love to come back.

Six of us had dinner here today with our children. The ambience is inviting and beautiful. As expected, the staff is super friendly and always on hand. The menu is manageable. Which we really liked. Because too many dishes make the decision difficult 😀. The food was brought to the table within 30 minutes. Everything was fresh and beautifully prepared and extremely tasty. Best regards to the chef and his team - they know how to make a meal perfect and unforgettable. We agree that we would like to come back 😉

Ich war 5 Tage in Frankfurt (Oder). Der erste Tag endete nicht gerade kulinarisch, näher möchte ich darauf nicht eingehen. Über die Suche fand ich das Frankfurter Kartoffelhaus, welches sehr vielversprechend aussah. Ich habe 4 Abende dort gegessen und bin wirklich ein Fan geworden. Das Wort "lecker" ist eigentlich nicht so mein Wort, aber ich kann das Essen nicht anders beschreiben. Ob Steak Au Four, Hähnchenschnitzel oder Geflügelleber, ich weiß sind nur drei, das Steak Au Four hatte ich zweimal😉,war das Essen immer sehr schön angerichtet und große Portionen und sehr schmackhaft. Über Lage und Ambiente haben ja Andere schon genug geschrieben. Das Team ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Von mir.... volle Empfehlung. Schade, dass ich wahrscheinlich nicht so bald wieder nach Frankfurt (Oder) komme aber wenn, auf jeden Fall.......

Am Wochenende zur Mittagszeit gut besucht. Ohne Reservierung ist es schwer einen Platz zu bekommen. Essen lecker. Service super. Alle Mitarbeiter aufmerksam. Hier ist GASTlichkeit Leitsatz. Als Gast soll man sich wohlfühlen.

Wir sitzen bei Sonnenschein im Außenbereich, beim Schwarzen Abt und Hühnchenleber. Es war sehr lecker und weiter zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.

Sehr dunkel im Restaurant. Hatte mir Schweinefilet mit Möhren/Fenchelgemüse ,Pommes und Bratensoße bestellt. Bratensoße fehlte und das Fleisch war soooo Tod gebraten,das es ungenießbar war. Die Bedingungen hat sich zwar entschuldigt, doch es wurde der volle Preis von knapp 25€ berechnet 😥. Die anderen Essen waren in Ordnung.

Wpadliśmy tam przypadkiem podczas spaceru po mieście. Bardzo przyjemne miejsce z widokiem na Odrę i Słubice. Jedzenie bardzo dobre i cenowo porównywalne z restauracjami w Polsce.

Wir waren hier zu zweit essen und das Essen hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt, meinem Partner nur ganz ok. Ich hatte das Blumenkohlsteak mit Pommes, das war wirklich lecker, alles so wie es sein sollte, der Blumenkohl bissfest, die Pommes knusprig. Mein Partner hatte die Käsebratwurst mit Bratkartoffeln, die Kartoffeln fand er nicht so gelungen, daher bei einem auf Kartoffel spezialisiertem Restaurant nicht so toll. Die Karte war sehr umfangreich, man bekommt gängige Gerichte wie Schnitzel, Bratwurst, Salate und hat zudem noch eine große Auswahl an Kartoffelbeilagen. Es gibt auch Vorspeisen und Desserts. Der Service war sehr schnell und freundlich und man sitzt direkt an der Oder wenn man draußen sitzt, das fand ich sehr schön. Unser Hund hat sofort Wasser angeboten bekommen und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis fand ich angemessen, wir waren zufrieden.

Die Lage an der Oder ist perfekt. Wir saßen in dem schönen Garten. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam. Die Speisekarte ist abwechslungsreich und interessant. Besonders hat mich die tolle Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten beeindruckt: z. B. überbackenen Blumenkohl mit Rosmarinkartoffeln oder Kartoffeln und Gemüse mit karamellisiertem Ziegenkäse uvm. ich habe Zander auf süß-saurem gurkengemüse mit Kartoffelstampf und meerrettichsause und salatbeilage gegessen. Alles war frisch und sehr schmackhaft. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tische außen frei aber reserviert. Dabei unklar, ab wann reserviert, Innenraum allerdings frei. Aber wegen drohendem Regen Nutzung Innenraum angeblich nicht möglich. Regen war nicht angeknünfigt und wude auch später nicht gesichtet. Wenn der Gast merkt, dass er nicht willkommen ist, läuft was schief. Zum Glück fand sich noch ein gastfreundlichen Grieche wenige Meter weiter.

The restaurant overlooks the Oder river and is a nice place to eat in peace. Also not bad internally with a cozy rustic décor. Zero vegan food, but a good vegetarian offering. Well presented and abundant dishes at a reasonable price. While they specialize in potatoes, it was the open potato stuffed with a quark sauce that was the weak point of the lunch. Tasteless, everything else I tasted was better.

Die Lage zählt und ist phänomenal! An Deutschlands Außengrenze sitzt es sich toll. Aber leider teurer als früher. Die Portionen sind geschrumpft. Bedienung ist bemüht und nett und hat die ausländischen Servicekräfte im Griff. Auch beim Personal wird also bestimmt auch gespart. Drinnen müsste mal renoviert werden. Nächstes Mal wird es dann doch der Grieche einige Häuser weiter.

Wir als Familie reisen 3-4x nach Frankfurt (Oder) und hatten das Kartoffelhaus für uns entdeckt. Vorerst vor Corona war dies ein absolutes muss und planten dies als Highlight immer mit ein. Wir liebten die gute rustikale Küche und die Ambiente. Bei unseren vorletzten Besuch (vor Weihnachten 2021) hatte der Küchenchef sich geändert, was wir als großen Verlust und nachteilig bewerteten. Abgesehen von der Änderung der Bier Hausmarke Frunkfurter in unbedeutenden Nebenmarken hat sich als Kartoffelhaus keinen gefallen mit getan, die hausgemachten Pommes oder Kartoffelgerichte durch Industrieprodukte auszuwechseln. Wir hätten gern den Mehrpreis zur Erhaltung diesen Flairs bezahlt, aber nicht den Verlust des guten Geschmacks der vorigen vorzüglichen Küche. Unsere Besuche im Januar, wir waren 2x zu viert dort, hat uns so vergrellt, das wir dieses Haus zukünftig meiden werden. Kurz geschildert: Essen schmeckte gar nicht mehr und die Bedienung schaffte es nicht, die Bestellung in die Küche korrekt zu übermitteln, wobei die Teller 2x zurückgegangen sind und beim 3. mal immer noch nicht das Bestellte enthielt, obwohl das Haus an diesen Abenden normal besetzt war. Auch eine Entschuldigung durch eine gratis Runde Getränke gab die erteuerte und unzufriedenden Abendmal nicht im geringsten wieder, was das gute Haus einmal war. Wir kommen nur wieder, wenn die Küche wieder dem vorherigen Geschmack entspricht und das Personal sich gebessert hat. Die Ambiente und das Haus an der Oder sind ohne Frage sehr liebenswert und gefällt uns gut. Wir wollen die "alte" Küche sowie die Hausmarke Bier wieder

Se capitate a Frankfurt an der Oder, consiglio questo caratteristico ristorante proprio sul fiume Oder. Potete stare fuori nella terrazza oppure all'interno che è molto accogliente in tipico stile tedesco. Piatti della tradizione tedesca e speicalità regionali. In agosto vi è il menù "finferli" cioè dalla zuppa al secondo tutto a base di finferli. Dolci pure molto buoni.

Idyllisch, ein paar Schritte von der Oder gelegen erwartet das Restaurant mit Tradition seine Gäste. Wir ergatterten auf der Terrasse noch zwei Plätze. Das Haus ist gut besucht, man kann gemütlich im Haus und auf der Terrasse verweilen. In der Speisekarte findet man eine Vielfalt an Speisen und Getränken. Die Kellnerinnen haben viel zu tun, sind dennoch flink. Mein Essen war zwar gut, aber nicht mehr sehr warm. Meine Frau bekam die bestellte Tomatensuppe, die jedoch zu viel Pfeffer hatte, dass sie ungenießbar war. Die Beschwerde bei der Kellnerin führte zu der Bemerkung: "Ich habe in der Küche bescheid gesagt". Mehr kam nicht. Keine Entschuldigung, kein Ausweichangebot, kein Entgegenkommen bei der Rechnung. Ganz sicher keine gute Eigenwerbung des Hauses. Von uns keine Empfehlung

Überteuert Das man für eine Tomatensuppe 5,60 € nimmt ist sicherlich auch der ausgezeichneten Lage geschuldet. Die Größe der Portion steht in keinem Verhältnis zum Preis. Wenn man dann noch 1.-€ für zwei kleine Stücke Baguette nimmt finde das abzocke. Das war mein letzter Besuch im Kartoffelhaus !

Für das Restaurant spricht an erster Stelle die Lage, ein schöner Blick im Zentrum der Stadt und dann noch freundliche Servicekräfte, denen kein Weg zu anstrengend scheint. Alles Übrige kann man leider vergessen.....also gerne auf ein Getränk, ein Eis wieder.....

Ein wunderschön uriges Restaurant. Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Leider hat das Essen nur bedingt überzeugt. Die Karte ist sehr vielfältig allerdings erwarte ich von einem Kartoffelhaus insbesondere bei der Zubereitung der Kernzutat, der Kartoffel, deutlich mehr liebe. Leider waren die Bratkartoffeln zwar qualitativ gut allerdings ließ die Zubereitung in meinen Augen wünsche wie Knusprigkeit und Würze offen. Das Schnitzelfleisch war leider auch nicht so überzeugend. Da es sehr voll war kann ich über die Würzproblematik allerdings hinwegsehen. Trotzdem für eine ordentliche Mahlzeit zu empfehlen.

Atmosfera ottima, ambiente curato e pulito. Servizio ottimo, il cameriere parla anche molto bene in inglese. È stato difficile scegliere cosa mangiare vista la possibilità di scelta, ma alla fine abbiamo entrambi optato per pollo al forno con patate, formaggio e ananas.

Wer mal etwas anderes sucht als Pizza, Schnitzel oder Gyros wird hier fündig. Von deftiger Hausmannskost über ungewöhnlichen Kartoffelngerichten bis zum Rumpsteak oder Fischgericht steht alles auf der Karte. Die Portionen sind gut bemessen, die Getränke- und Weinkartr läd zum Ausprobieren ein und das Personal ist schnell, außerordentlich freundlich und gerne bereit, auch Sonderwünsche zu erfüllen.

...in urigem Ambiente direkt an der Oder. Das Kartoffelhaus ist schon sehr gut, allerdings fehlt hier und da den Speisen...
