We ordered catering for a birthday party with 80 guests and were so pleased! The food was delivered on time, the advance arrangements were straightforward, and the food was outstanding. From meat to vegetarian options, everything was fantastic and highly recommended.

Great food and fair price! I visited the Ratsstube Kluftern again and was again very satisfied. The food is consistently delicious, the service is friendly and attentive. I particularly recommend Schnitzel Wednesday, where all schnitzels are available for €14 - a really fair price for the generous portions that are absolutely filling. This time I tried the kibbeh (meatballs). They were okay, but I personally didn't like them as much as the other dishes I usually order here. However, that doesn't dampen my enthusiasm for the kitchen and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We went there for the first time today for the first time in the council chamber. The falafel was nice and crispy and the cheese spaetzle with salad was delicious. Great service and a pleasant atmosphere. I'd love to come back.

Today we ate in Kluftern for the first time. It was delicious, especially the Schlemmertöpfle and the grill plate. Parking easy to find. Unfortunately, my partner's steak was pretty bland but that can always happen. There was also salt for seasoning. After we asked for the bill we were forgotten for a while but after a reminder it came. We'd love to come back and try our hand at the menu :)

During a short stay on Lake Constance, we had dinner in the Ratsstube on three consecutive evenings. First of all, a big compliment to the wait staff, whose friendly nature creates a very special atmosphere in the council room. The homemade meat cakes were a hit and tasted like they were made at home. The dishes are extremely attractively prepared and very tasty. There was even fresh pumpkin as a vegetable side dish with the schnitzel. The prices are consistently moderate and more than adequate for the quality and quantity of the food. We were very satisfied on all three evenings and can recommend the Ratsstube without reservation and will be happy to come back here on our next Lake Constance holiday.

We ate in the Ratskeller several times during our vacation. It was always very tasty 😋!! The boss and waitress are very friendly and the boss knows his craft. It's a shame that the vacation is over.

A really great place, the "ZiegeunerSchnitzel" we ordered was well seasoned, slightly spicy with the jalapenos in the sauce - just how I imagined it. The doneness of my wife's onion roast was on point, but the sauce was a bit thin and tasted like a well-known brand. The mocha with cardamom is a stunner. We'd love to come back.

A cool combination of home-style German dishes and Arabic dishes, run by a very nice Syrian family. Definitely order a round of matzah as a starter, then you have to make the difficult choice between falafel or schnitzel. In summer it is very pleasant to sit on the terrace at the back. A good alternative if you want to stay in town to eat, and fair prices too! Kid friendly!

We as families went to dinner in the council room on our last day of vacation. The menu leaves nothing to be desired. The portions are very large and worth every euro. The waitress was alone and despite the crowd, she was quick and friendly. It's definitely worth a visit.

We were positively surprised by the oriental dishes and the atmosphere. The terrace outside is quietly located by the fountain, away from the hustle and bustle. Now to the food: The stuffed eggplant with chickpeas was really a highlight and very tasty. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the pork fillet tips in red wine sauce. Unfortunately the meat was dry and cut into fine strips. I didn't know that and it reminded me more of sliced ​​meat. Spaetzle and sauce were ok. Red wine sauce didn't taste like red wine. Overall, you can still say: super friendly team, nice atmosphere with an unusual (oriental-Swabian) menu, but we will only come back for the oriental dishes!

The large number of top reviews is probably mainly due to the extremely friendly service from the owner. We found the food ok, but just average. The various pieces of meat on the grill plate were all seasoned with the same oriental-flavoured seasoning mixture and were rather dry. The prices are on the higher side for the level.

Be sure to reserve very tasty food

We became aware of the Ratsstube Kluftern based on other reviews and, as expected, we were not disappointed. As soon as we entered we were greeted by a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The service was impeccable and we were served quickly and friendly. The staff is very polite and also up for a little fun. Our food was freshly prepared, arrived promptly and was still pleasantly warm. The price-performance ratio exceeded my expectations in a positive sense. I'll be happy to come back on my next visit.

My boyfriend is completely obsessed with Schnitzel Day (every Wednesday) and would love to eat there every Wednesday. I also think the food there is very good and the staff is incredibly friendly.

We always enjoy eating here in the council room, even though we have to travel 20km. You will receive a very friendly welcome here and afterwards you will always receive friendly and very nice service from the restaurant owners, which makes you feel very comfortable in this beautiful and clean restaurant. The food is very tasty and beautifully prepared. We wish the operators continued success so that they stay with us for a long time and we can often eat delicious food here.

Der Service ist einwandfrei. Essen sehr sehr lecker und sehr große Portionen. Hier wird man auf jeden Fall satt. Preise sind für diese Große Portionen sehr angemessen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne und können es ohne weiteres empfehlen.

Beim Besuch ist uns die Freundlichkeit des Personals positiv aufgefallen. Die Ratsstube mit syrischem Wirt war am Sonntag Abend sehr gut besucht, was hierbei auffiel, dass der Wirt trotz freier oder in Kürze freiwerdender Plätze, etliche Besucher abgewiesen hatte!? Den Rat einer vorherigen Reservation sollte man deshalb beherzigen! Die Getränke wurden uns sehr schnell serviert, auf das Essen, welches sehr gut schmeckte, aber von der Menge im durchschnittlichen Bereich liegt, mussten wir allerdings längere Zeit warten. Die Preise liegen im derzeitigen üblichen "Teuro-Bereich"!

Sehr freundliches Personal mit gutem Service. Der Zwiebelrostbraten war auf den Punkt gebraten, die Soße hätte jedoch etwas kräftiger sein dürfen. Trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen.

Gestern arabische Küche probiert, leider etwas zu sehr eingedeutscht, dürfte authentischer sein. Heute Schweinemedaillons mit Pfefferrahmsoße und Gemüse sowie Zwiebelrostbraten mit wirklich krossen Zwiebeln und auf Wunsch ganz frischem, schön scharfem Knobi dazu, sehr lecker! Schönes Ambiente mit toller Deko, super freundlicher Wirt, gelungen!

Die Ratsstube in Kluftern ist super. Wenn wir beim nächsten Urlaub auch nur annähernd da unterwegs sind, dann gehen wir auf jeden Fall wieder in der Ratsstube Essen. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall; wir sind begeistert. Der sehr freundliche, nette und aufmerksame Service hat dem ganzen noch das " i-Tüpfelchen" obendrauf gesetzt.

Wir waren im Urlaub in Friedrichshafen und haben das Restaurant durch Zufall über Google Maps entdeckt. Und die Rezessionen haben nicht zuviel versprochen.....super leckeres Essen, große Portionen, toller und äußert freundlicher Service und ein schönes Ambiente. Auf jeden Wunsch wurde eingegangen, die orientalischen Vorspeisen wurde uns direkt erklärt und nicht einfach wortlos vorgesetzt und man merkt mit wieviel Liebe und Leidenschaft hier gekocht wird. Absolute Empfehlung

Wir wurden schlichtweg 30 Minuten lang nicht beachtet. Nicht an einem Wochenende sondern unter der Woche und untertags. Wir haben mitbekommen, wie die Kellnerin einen weiteren Angestellten zur Schnecke machte, vor vielen Kunden. Entsetzlich... Nie wieder

Nach langer Pause wieder sehr gut gegessen, zuvorkommend freundlich bedient worden, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber . Sonderwünsche sind überhaupt kein Problem und wurden top umgesetzt. Der Aussenbereich ist sehr ansprechend und einladend im "Zentrum" von Kluften gelegen . Die Karte ist nicht zugroß und somit genau richtig es ist für jeden was dabei ( auch saisonale Beikarte. ) Die Preise sind in Ordnung und angemessen. Für jeden der mal in der Nähe ist absolut zu empfehlen, wir würden wiederkommen auch mit kleinem Kind.

Sehr leckeres und schönes Essen.

Nachdem wir letztes Jahr mehrfach gutes Essen in der Ratsstube bekommen haben, sind wir im Frühjahr 2023 wieder hin. Das Lokal ist weiterhin eine Empfehlung wert. Egal ob Schnitzel oder etwas Exotischeres, es schmeckt, der Service passt und die Preise sind, vergleicht man es mit den Preissteigerungen anderer Restaurants am Bodensee, noch ok.

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen in netter Atmosphäre. Der Wirt ist sehr symphatisch. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

Den Vorrednern kann man sich nur anschließen, toller Service, tolle Küche, angenehme Atmosphäre sowohl im Gastraum als auch auf der Terrasse. Dieses Qualitätsniveau wird seit Jahren gehalten.... Fazit: Unbedingt zu empfehlen !

Seit Jahren pilgern wir immer wieder gerne in unsere „Ratsstube“. Durchgängig waren wir mit Speis und Trank sehr zufrieden. Das darf jetzt auch mal online zum Ausdruck kommen. Wir waren spontan auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant zum Abendessen und sind in der Ratsstube gelandet. Es werden sowohl gut bürgerliche deutsche Gerichte als auch Speisen mit orientalischem Touch angeboten. Das Essen war hervorragend! Der Service war sehr gut: zuvorkommend, sehr höflich und sympathisch! Sehr zu empfehlen! Uns hat es absolut gefallen! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wir kamen spontan mit 18 Freunden und waren komplett begeistert. Bedienung super freundlich, Getränke schnell geliefert und das Essen blitzschnell auf dem Tisch. Alle waren satt und glücklich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Preis und Leistung sind hervorragend. Sehr gut und hochwertig zubereitete Speisen durch sehr aufmerksamen und sehr freundlichen Service serviert. Ich wünsche dem Lokal viele einheimische Gäste zum verwöhnen.

Die Ratsstube ist ein nettes kleines helles Restaurant mit typisch schwäbischen Essen. Syrische Spezialitäten werden auch angeboten. Das Personal ist sehr Nett und versucht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Der Chef begrüßt jeden Gast persönlich. Sehr Sympathisch! Das Essen ist lecker. Besonders die Käsespätzle sind richtig gut. Ich hatte die Chillenischen Nudeln mit grünem Pfeffer und Rinderfiletstreifen. Total lecker.Ob ich nochmal hingehen würde? Ja, auf jeden Fall!

Das Ambiente der Ratsstube ist nicht nach jedermanns Geschmack und erinnert an eine Vereinsgaststätte. Dafür sind Essen und Service sehr gut: die Betrieber sind Syrer und bieten typische syrische Gerichte ebenso an wie typisch deutsche bzw. schwäbische Spezialitäten - alles sehr lecker und preisgünstig.
