Wonderful hotel with wellness and indoor pool as well as fine food. Large room unfortunately wet room with sewer smell.

Overall our stay was very nice. Staff was helpful and very polite. Breakfast was great and had a lot of choice, only dinner at the candlelight dinner could have been more, there were a lot of dishes that weren't to our taste. Rooms and hotel very clean and very well equipped. The only bad thing about our stay was the massage. First of all, the employee was totally uninterested in the massage and greeting. Additionally, the appointment was at 10:40 a.m. She came exactly at 10:40 a.m. By the time you were ready for the massage, it was already 10:45-10:50 a.m. She was still there Busy with something else for 5 minutes. At 11:05 my wife was ready and out. So I pay 40 euros for 30 minutes of massage and only get less than 20 minutes of it, which is totally rude and unprofessional.

An absolutely recommended hotel. Very nice staff. Great price/performance ratio. Very good restaurant with good portions and a rich breakfast. I'd love to come back!

Visiting friends, I don't think you can say it better. Friendly, nice and motivated staff, a great breakfast buffet, super tasty food, great bar, nice swimming pool and massages. Regional food and suppliers also make a holiday here. Great concept and ambience, are very satisfied and enthusiastic.

We wanted to celebrate our father-in-law's birthday with 9 people in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the Schwabenteller dish is only offered with melted onions. The request for fried onions for the "birthday child" was rejected and it was pointed out that otherwise the fries in the deep fryer would taste like onions. According to the menu, the onion roast is also served with melted onions. An absurdity. Is that an onion melted roast then....? Even if the food delivered - without onions - was very good. The uneasy feeling remained - the evening was over. Very unfortunate.

Hello dear reader, For work I am in the hotel twice a week. This has really “picked me up” for six months now. Super easy reservation over the phone, uncomplicated check-in and accommodating when the gym opens (in the morning). The restaurant and the waitress (Miguel)…I would poach them immediately! All in all. Recommended to my colleagues at the company. We'll be back! Keep it up!👏

Great hotel, the selection of vegetarian and vegan food is very good and also tasty! The rooms are clean and functional, unfortunately the ventilation in our bathroom didn't work optimally! Gladly again!

Rooms good and wellness too. New wood-fired sauna - unfortunately the heating times are somewhat limited.

We stayed in the garden room with balcony for 2 nights over the weekend. This is in the new complex of the hotel and the room was quiet, very clean and you just felt comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, so many regional delicacies. Great bread from a local bakery, various homemade jams, fresh fruit and delicious coffee. Our highlight was the dinner (3 course menu), which we were able to choose from a variety of dishes. The food was sooooo good and again a lot of it was homemade and regional. The service in the hotel is outstanding!!! We received a warm welcome and especially at dinner the service was a 10 out of 10. Friendly, attentive and we simply felt right at home as guests. Everyone, really every employee in this hotel is nice and has a smile on their face. The sauna area is small but nice. And the location of the hotel is great, just 10 minutes by bus and you are at beautiful Lake Constance. Thanks for the great weekend. We'll be back.

My personal feeling: At the beginning I didn't have high expectations because the website had potential for my taste. But when I arrived, a different positive picture emerged. We were treated really friendly by every member of staff and we simply felt comfortable. The room and the hotel as a whole were clean and well maintained. The pool water could be a little warmer but you can relax despite all that. The food was really good and it really filled you up. I can recommend this hotel and look forward to the next visit. (Thanks to the man who always makes such funny comments ;) )

Good hotel with a family atmosphere, we had another massage, but it was more of a caress and not as firm as you might be used to with a Thai massage, but they still made a lot of effort and it still helped you relax! Good location, you can reach Lake Constance in 10 minutes by car! Breakfast delicious and top.

“Welcome home” is the garlic slogan and that’s exactly how we feel. The atmosphere, the wonderful cuisine, the great staff, the very nice owners and the wellness area are the guarantees for our well-being. We have been coming here for a few days for years and always look forward to it. However, we would have liked to improve two things: Better / more options in the room to hang up the wet towels to dry. There are only small hooks in the bathroom and when hung on them the towels don't even dry properly in 3 days. This is unpleasant, especially if you want to use it several times to protect the environment. You have to get really creative to hang up your towels so that you can use them dry again the next day. The other is the limited offer for people with intolerances. Although there are gluten-free rolls available to order at breakfast, it has become a little difficult for my wife to find suitable food for dinner depending on the current menu. About an alternative or supplement, e.g. B. Offering vegetable noodles or dishes with spaetzle with gluten-free noodles would definitely be something that other guests would also be happy about.

The Hotel Knoblauch was very nice and well maintained. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food there is great 🤩 I can only recommend it. The hotel is about 3 km from Friedrichshafen, so you can get anywhere quickly on foot or by car.

Very well run hotel: Positive was: - Cleanliness (everywhere not just rooms) - Hotel values ​​energy efficiency and sustainability👍. There was a photovoltaic system. No useless refrigerator in the room, which you never need anyway and only uses energy. Pool at a great temperature. Radiators with modern thermostats. - Friendliness of ALL employees - great, modern wellness area - Breakfast with many homemade specialties - Top restaurant, very competent and committed waiters and the food was excellent. Painting supplies were ready for our daughter. - our child, although registered later, was still welcome - Superior double room very large and cozy Negative: - The room door including the wall to the hallway was not sufficiently soundproofed. You could hear all the conversations in the hallway. But after 10 p.m. nothing worked anymore. I just hope you didn't hear our child in the room crying every now and then. We had room 255 on the ground floor!

Help with planning excursion destinations etc. The wellness area is so great, very relaxed and nice relaxation area. There is very tasty food in the restaurant. We received a very friendly welcome, warm welcome and were escorted straight to our table. This was beautifully and professionally decorated, so it was a pleasure to sit down. The menu is great and full of delicacies. The service is very friendly, fast and attentive. The dishes we ordered were all extremely tasty and presented very attractively. The price-performance ratio is also excellent.

Clean hotel, nice staff, nice indoor pool and lots of ways to pass the time. In the in-house restaurant you can eat very well at an upscale but acceptable price. Here too, the service is very friendly and accommodating.

We spent our girls' weekend at the Hotel Knoblauch and were totally thrilled. The reception was very nice and we were really impressed with the maisonette room. We immediately tried out the new swimming pool and the very attractive sauna area with a natural pond. Everything is really great. And in the evening we ate very well in the hotel's own restaurant and were served courteously. What can I say, it was a successful weekend at the Hotel Knoblauch and we will definitely come back.

My impression of the hotel after staying for 2 days is only positive. The owners as well as the entire staff are thoroughly friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very comfortable, modern and clean. The hotel has a great ambience. Sauna and swimming pool are another highlight. The breakfast and especially the 3-course dinner leave nothing to be desired. There is something for everyone. Especially for me as a vegetarian... A dream. We will come back

We spent 3 nights here and it was great. Mega friendly and courteous staff. The food tasted very good. The wellness area has many loungers and 3 saunas (different heat levels), it always had tea, apples and 2 canisters of water (with flavor). I found the hotel to be clean and quiet. We received a guest card with which we can use the bus for free - we also made use of it and went shopping in the old town. It was a great weekend, thank you very much 🤗

We have been here for 3 days now and can definitely recommend the hotel. The rooms are clean, the food was very tasty and arrived quickly. The breakfast was varied and also very tasty. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. The location is also very good, as it only takes 6-10 minutes to get to the city. There is also more than enough parking space at the hotel. All in all, we were more than satisfied and would love to come here again and again. 5 stars are almost not enough. And again a big thank you to the whole team!

Great hotel, nice swimming pool and wellness area. Overall, everything fits here. Rarely eaten so well. The room was bright and modern and seemed new. A large room with a separate toilet. Nice rain shower and nice seating area. Breakfast buffet with lots of homemade and regional products. The hotel is a perfect starting point for all activities around Friedrichshafen. Clear recommendation for this house and the team.

Dann das Abendessen ( 3 Gänge Menü), was soll man sagen… mindestens 6 Sterne ⭐️, wir haben zu viert die verschiedensten Gerichte gegessen und selten wenn überhaupt so super gut gegessen, alles, wirklich alles super lecker..vielen Dank dafür!!!! Wenn man dann noch von einem Kellner (Raul) bedient wird der sich so um seine Gäste kümmert ist das absolut erwähnenswert!!!Ganz große Klasse 👍 in diesem Sinne freuen wir uns jetzt schon auf nächste Mal

Ein sehr sauberes und schönes Hotel, top Service, gutes Essen alles in allem ein gelungenes Wochenende, wir kommen gerne wieder

Der erste Eindruck war sehr positiv: moderne Ausstattung, großer spa Bereich und gute Lage in der Nähe des Bodensees. Leider wurde dieser Eindruck schnell getrübt. Die Massage hat uns beide 200€ gekostet und kann in keinster Weise als solche bezeichnet werden. Es war eher eine kleine streicheleinheit als eine wirkliche Massage. Auch wenn die Dame eine externe Dienstleisterin war, erwarte ich bei solchen Preisen eine bessere Leistung und Sicherstellung dieser durch das Hotel! Nach der Massage wunderten wir uns, warum das Öl so schlecht von der Haut abging und stellten erschrocken fest, dass in der Dusche HANDSEIFE als Duschgel stand, die auch als solche gekennzeichnet war. In einem Hotel dieser Preisklasse erwarte ich besseres!! Auch die Dame beim Frühstück, die es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht hat uns von Tisch zu Tisch zu scheuchen, war dementsprechend ziemlich unfreundlich. Das Essen beim Abendessen war wirklich ausgezeichnet und auch die Kellner waren überaus freundlich und engagiert. Was jedoch nicht nachvollziehbar ist, ist die Tatsache, dass man als Halbpension Gast des Hotels eine andere (unvollständige) Version der Karte bekommt als die normalen Restaurant Gäste. Für mich unverständlich, da man doch meinen sollte, dass mit den Hotelgästen mehr Geld verdient wird und abgesehen davon alle Gäste unabhängig vom gezahlten Preis die gleiche Behandlung verdienen sollten. Nachtrag: Finde es ziemlich armselig, wenn man auf positive Bewertungen nicht antwortet und es nur nötig hat auf die negativen zu antworten. Anscheinend kommt man damit nicht klar. Zusätzlich ist es nicht meine/unsere Aufgabe den Leuten zu erklären, wie sie ihren Job zu machen haben. Das sollte man auch selber wissen. In anderen Hotels hatte ich damit komischerweise noch keine Probleme :)

2 nuits, 3 jours à l'hôtel. L'accueil était très sympathique, notre chambre était au top, nous avons très bien mangé au restaurant de l'hôtel. Le spa (piscine, sauna, salle de repos était fort agréable. Niveau propreté rien à redire. Le personnel était très attentif à nous du début à la fin.

Dieses Hotel war für uns ein absolutes Highlight. Vielen Dank für dieses wunderbare Wochenende. Modern ausgestattet, sauber und mit einem feinen Wellness/Spa-Bereich. Das Personal ist super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker. Das absolute Highlight für uns war jedoch das Abendessen. Dies war hervorragend und wird uns noch länger in Erinnerung bleiben. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Seit nun mehr als 6 Jahren fahren wir regelmässig ins Hotel Knoblauch für verlängerte Wochenenden. Ob als Paar, mit der Grossfamilie oder nun mit der eigenen Familie reisten wir stets erholt, äusserst zufrieden und mit dem Vorhaben ab wieder zu kommen. Die Gastfreundschaft des Hotel Teams ist exzellent. Dieser Spirit überträgt sich auf den Gast, der sich rund um die Uhr willkommen und in seinen Bedürfnissen abgeholt fühlt. Neben dem ausgezeichneten Essen und Spa-Bereich gefällt uns der Nachhaltigkeitsgedanke des Hotels auf verschiedenen Ebenen (regionale Produkte, Recycling Papier wird verwendet, keine Plastik Strohhalme, langjährige Mitarbeitende, Frühstücks Buffet so portioniert, dass wenig Foodwaste entsteht, Ladestationen fürs E-Auto vor dem Haus usw.)

Mehr Sein als Schein. Die Küche macht einen hervorragenden Job, Inneneinrichtung sehr ansprechend und der Service vernichtet alles. Der Service war äußerst unaufmerksam und desinteressiert und musste mehrfach an Bestellungen erinnert werden. Das Service Personal war mehr mit Gesprächen untereinander als mit dem Gast beschäftigt. Man kam sich regelrecht störend vor. Zudem waren 2 Mitarbeiter äußerst arrogant. Nie wieder trotz guter Leistung der Küche.

Essen war sehr gut, nur etwas Teuer. Der Service war ausgesprochen Freundlich. Das essen war ausgefallen und auf jeden Fall nicht alltäglich.

Wij hebben heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant. We hadden niet gereserveerd, maar werden vriendelijk verwelkomd door het keurige en uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Tweede keer terug gegaan en toen heerlijk op t terras buiten gegeten!

Called in here for a quick meal with friends. Food and beverages along with the service and ambiance were 5 star. The restaurant offers substantial indoor and outdoor seating along with easy parking. Booking ahead is certainly the better choice if you want to sit outside, weather permitting.

Das Muttertagsmenü als auch die Speisen am Abend sind hervorragend. Die Portionen sind groß, beste Qualität und hier gibt es ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich.

Wir waren als Familie da, die Kinder fanden auf Ihren Plätzen Malstifte und Malbilder auf der Kinderspeisekarte, zusätzlich Spielangebot für die Kleinen und die Kinder bekamen das Essen zuerst. Die Speisekarte ist für Veganer und Fleischliebhaber wunderbar, alle konnten lecker speisen. Schön für das Auge und wunderbar für den Geschmack, jederzeit kommen wir wieder

Die Gerichte sind geschmackvoll. Nur ich finde die Portion etwas zu groß. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich. Der Service ist höflich .

Nach einer entspannten Radeleinheit auf den Pfänder und zurück, wurde der Wellnessbereich des anliegenden Hotels für eine entspannte Auszeit genutzt. Der anschließende Hunger wurde dann hervorragend gestillt im Restaurant. Sehr leckere und frische Köstlichkeiten zu einem angemessen Preis. Gerne wieder! Der Schwabenteller ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir haben im Hotel übernachtet und hatten ursprünglich geplant, auch mal woanders was essen zu gehen. Allerdings hat es uns am ersten Abend so gut gefallen, dass wir eine Woche durchgängig dort gegessen haben. Karte mit toller Auswahl. Wir wurden nicht einmal eintäuscht. Tolle Fleischqualität und große Portionen. Preislich vollkommen angemessen. Einrichtung modern und chic. Mitarbeiter sehr nett und freundlich.
