Endlich ein richtig authentischer Thai! Tolle Zutaten und scharf ist auch wirklich mal scharf. Das Essen kam innerhalb von 10 Minuten und ist einfach hervorragend. Allerdings ist die Portion darauf ausgelegt, dass man auch eine vor- oder Nachspeise nimmt. Nur mit einer Hauptspeise wird man nicht wirklich satt.

Seit längerem unser Lieblings-Thailänder in der Region - authentisches, leckeres Essen. Der Rabatt für Abholgerichte ist fair.

Eine sehr authentische Thai Küche. Wer schon mal in Thailand war, wird verstehen was gemeint ist. Wir haben uns wie in Thailand gefüllt. Top!

Ich bin eigentlich kein Fan von schlechten Bewertungen. Hier waren wir allerdings wirklich enttäuscht. Wir waren zur Mittagszeit um 12:00 Uhr hier essen. Das Restaurant bietet eine Mittagskarte an, auf der exakt dieselben Gerichte stehen wie auf der regulären Karte – das Mittagsmenü hat lediglich andere Bestellnummern mit einem zusätzlichen„M“ davor. Wir haben unsere Gerichte ganz normal beim Namen bestellt (z. B. Panaeng und Gäeng Phed) und dabei nicht explizit den Buchstaben „M“ aus der Speisekarte genannt. Auf der Rechnung wurde uns daraufhin der deutlich teurere Normalpreis berechnet. Wenn man mittags um zwölf ein Gericht namentlich bestellt, das genau so auf der Mittagskarte steht, erwarte ich als Gast, dass automatisch der günstigere Mittagspreis abgerechnet wird – oder dass der Service bei der Bestellung zumindest kurz nachfragt. Als wir die Bedienung auf diesen Fehler angesprochen haben, zeigte man sich absolut nicht einsichtig. Uns wurde keinerlei Kulanz entgegengebracht und wir haben die Preisdifferenz nicht zurückbekommen. Dass man den vollen Preis zahlen muss, nur weil man das Gericht beim Namen nennt, und bei einer berechtigten Beschwerde null Verständnis gezeigt wird, ist absolut nicht kundenfreundlich. Sehr schade, das hinterlässt leider einen wirklich schlechten Eindruck. Das Essen war allerdings sehr gut… Schade

Leckeres Essen und freundlicher Service

Super Essen, netter Service. Eistee: mehr Eiswürfel als Inhalt, hier ist Potenzial. Gerne wieder!

Wir bestellten Frühlingsrollen als Vorspeise und rotes Thai-Curry mit Reis sowie Pad Thai als Hauptgericht. Alles war köstlich. Die Frühlingsrollen waren superfrisch und selbstgemacht. Das Ambiente ist sehr beeindruckend; beim nächsten Mal würde ich gerne mal auf dem Boden sitzen. Der Service war ebenfalls hervorragend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Ambiente wirklich super. Leider war der Service enttäuschend. Wir hätten gerne noch mehr Getränke bestellt, aber es kam niemand, um unsere Bestellung aufzunehmen. Auch beim Bezahlen mussten wir viermal darauf hinweisen, bis endlich jemand gekommen ist. Zudem war die Bedienung, als sie schließlich kam, leider auch nicht besonders freundlich.

Das Essen ist geschmacklich absolut top, wirklich sehr authentisch und außerdem gut gewürzt. Die Schärfegrade des Essens sind angegeben, man kann aber auch weniger oder mehr Schärfe bestellen, bis Thai-scharf. Einen Stern beim Essen muss ich allerdings abziehen, da ich der Meinung bin, die Hauptspeisenportion ist mir fast ein wenig zu klein. Mit Vor- und Hauptspeise passt es auf jeden Fall aber wenn man nur eine Hauptspeise nimmt, dann finde ich es ein bisschen zu wenig. Ansonsten alles top, Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und das Ambiente spricht für sich. Es gibt sogar die Möglichkeit sich auf den Boden zu setzen zum Essen. :)

Sehr gutes essen aber etwas wenig für die Preise

Es gab Mango Sticky Rice - mehr muss ich nicht sagen. Das Kind hocherfreut! Das Pad Thai war sehr lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen, um authentische thailändische Küche zu genießen! Vielen Dank!

Ein sehr schön eingerichtetes Thai-Restaurant. Die Getränke und die Nachspeisen waren sehr lecker. Die Hauptgerichte haben aber alle 5 enttäuscht. Das Laab war nicht scharf, das PadThai nicht die mannigfaltigen Geschmacksrichtungen wie man sie kennt etc. Die Bedienungen waren nicht unhöflich, aber besonders freundlich wie man es typischerweise von Thais kennt war es auch nicht. War mal eine nette Erfahrung, eine Wiederholung wird es aber eher nicht geben.

Ich habe Rindfleisch Panang, Laab Hühnchen mit Klebreis und Tom Yam Suppe mit Garnelen bestellt. Das ist das beste authentische Thai-Essen weit und breit, man braucht nicht mehr weiterzusuchen. Das Personal ist super nett und aufmerksam. Das Restaurant ist blitzsauber und wunderschön eingerichtet und versprüht ein authentisches Flair. Alle nehmen ihr Restaurant wirklich ernst und sind stolz auf ihre Arbeit – es ist nicht einfach nur eine Geldmaschine wie die meisten Restaurants, die ich in letzter Zeit sehe. Das ist das authentischste Thai-Essen, das ich in Deutschland gegessen habe, abgesehen vom Thai-Food-Festival letztes Jahr in Berlin. Absolut top! Ihr werdet ab jetzt immer hier essen! Ich war sogar ein zweites Mal da und es war wieder super!

Wirklich super authentisches thailändisches Essen. Ich gehe sehr gerne immer wieder hierher essen. Die Chilis für den Schärfegrad muss man wirklich ernst nehmen. Wer also gerne scharf ist muss sich hier durch probieren. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

Wow!! I've never experienced anything like this before!! When I picked up our order yesterday, they mentioned the spring rolls I'd forgotten about in my last order, which was months ago and wasn't a big deal at the time. I'd completely forgotten about it because the food is always so delicious and everything else is always 100% perfect. It's easy to forget something in the rush. Besides, I could have checked. Anyway, they waived the price of the spring rolls I ordered yesterday. Any other establishment, I'd say, wouldn't have even mentioned it after that much time, let alone remembered it. Respect! And yesterday, all the food was excellent again, high quality, and everything was top-notch. See you soon!

Great atmosphere, we immediately felt at home, and the children were amazed! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and everything was served super quickly. The food was exceptionally good; we thoroughly enjoyed it! The children's menu is fantastic and so well-chosen! Very imaginative and fun! 👍🏼 As we were leaving, our girls even received lovely hair clips as gifts! We will definitely recommend Ratanakosin and, of course, come back ourselves!

A spontaneous visit that turned out to be a truly delightful experience. Despite our last-minute decision, we managed to get one of the last available tables – a stroke of luck! The service was warm, attentive, and always present, without being intrusive. The selection of starters and main courses impresses with its variety and culinary refinement – ​​each dish is a feast for the eyes and palate. Unfortunately, there was no room left for dessert at the end, but we'll make up for that next time. An all-around harmonious experience where you can feel that the cooking and serving here is done with passion. We'd be happy to go back!

By far the best Thai restaurant we've ever visited! All the dishes were excellent, from the appetizers to the main courses and desserts.

If it weren't for the much too small amount of meat in the dishes, this would be the best and nicest Thai restaurant I know in Fürth and the surrounding area. And not too far from us. I think the chicken dishes contain less than 100g of shredded meat. For the price of €18.50 and up, with the not-so-generous portion of rice, unfortunately, I think it's a bit cheeky. If I then think after the meal that I need something from McDonald's...

I haven't eaten Thai food in years and this place immediately caught my eye, because of the bamboo that dominates the decor and gives it a tropical feel. The outside space is less impressive, but it's well-maintained, great for a beer. It had spicy food for all tastes (4 levels) and that tempts you if you like that. We got: — fried wontons stuffed with shrimp and chicken: I admit I had never thought of combining them, but they are successful together; — khao pad (fried rice with vegetables): it was OK, the rice was definitely cooked just right; — gaeng kiowan (spicy green curry with coconut milk, Thai basil, small Thai eggplants, hot peppers and crispy duck): divine. The milky texture, sweetness and heat go very well with this meat; — dessert: the popular mango sticky rice with coconut milk which —I will admit my sin— was like a tropical rice pudding. Delicious. Next time we will up the spiciness level.

We ordered a takeaway lunch today. The bar manager was super friendly and helpful when taking our order, and the food was ready really quickly and tasted amazing. We'd be happy to come back again! Maybe even eat in next time, because the restaurant also impressed us with its ambiance.

We were here several times before (2019-22) and it tasted really good and the service was committed and very attentive. In the summer of '24 we had the impression that both the quality of the food and the commitment in general had declined. Our visit last Sunday was disappointing. All of my tilapia fish was fried dead and what little meat was edible was very dry. The waitress was neither interested in reordering drinks nor in the criticism of the dish. My wife's dish was ok - but nothing more. In the men's toilet, the dispenser for paper towels was on the floor, there was no way to dry your hands, nor was there any soap. It's a shame - no reason to come back anymore.

The food is very good as well as the service. But the chairs are just an imposition. You can't even eat properly because the so-called armrests are so high. It's extremely uncomfortable to sit. That's really a shame.

For the price the portion was way to small. I've been here before, but this was the first time in 2025. From my previous experiences I can only recommend the place, but with what I got today I'm less than pleased. No 24, with duck: As mentioned the portion was tiny when compared with what I got last year and additionally the duck was very dry and looked like they scratched togehter a couple scraps! Spice-scale said three chilis which I also cannot confirm.

I don't understand the top reviews! Were there for lunch, it was cold (apparently the heating was broken), the waiter was ignorant, annoyed and unfriendly. The food was no better than any snack bar around the corner! Expensive but bad.

Very good Thai restaurant. After several orders for collection, I dare to give an honest review of the Ratanakosin. Unfortunately not the best in the region. In terms of taste, there are definitely restaurants that are even more intense. But the quality of the ingredients is very good, always at a high level without falling off. In addition, there is a really remarkably stylish restaurant that transports you directly to Bangkok, both culinary and visually. Special recommendation: Gai Pad Med Mamoung, which is outstanding and brilliantly represents the flavor-intensive Thai cuisine. A bit expensive compared to other Thai restaurants, comparable dishes are €4-5 cheaper in other comparable restaurants. An absolute recommendation for the Fürth area, but not necessarily the best you can find if you are traveling from further away. Sovereign 4 stars. We'll definitely see each other again.

It is not for nothing that it is one of the 10 best Thai restaurants in Germany. There's really no need to say anything more. The food is great, the atmosphere is very nice, service is good and the prices are reasonable. An area with tables embedded in the floor makes it particularly comfortable.

By far the best Thai food in the region. At first glance, the ambience seems very stereotypical, but it is absolutely harmonious and appropriate. The service was outstanding on every visit. The sticky rice with mango alone would be worth a visit.

This restaurant lives up to its good reputation. Very nice service, nice ambience and excellent food. I particularly liked the fact that after dinner we were able to just sit there with our “girl group” and chat without being constantly hassled by the service. We'll be back! Wanted to try other Thai and overall was disappointed. Anyone who hasn't made a reservation is crammed into a corner, even though the restaurant is sparsely occupied. Prices for food are quite high. Starter tempura shrimp very weak, duck could be crispier, curry completely ok. Plates have grooves, which leads to unpleasant noise. Next time back to the Thalokal tribe.

Soweit wir das beurteilen können ist es ein sehr authentisches Thai Restaurant. Das Essen ist reichlich, schmackhaft und würzig. Zur Auswahl stehen alle Thai Klassiker, die wahlweise mit Huhn, Ente, Rind, Meeresfrüchten oder Garnelen serviert werden. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Restaurant selbst ist ausreichend groß, so dass noch ohne Zeitslot gearbeitet wird und man auch nach dem Essen noch für ein weiteres Getränk oder Cocktail sitzen bleiben kann. Eine Reservierung ist dringend zu empfehlen.

I have eaten at Ratanakosin several times for lunch and can say that it is a very good restaurant. The taste of the food is excellent and offers authentic Thai cuisine. The decoration is tasteful and conveys a homely flair, which makes the ambience very pleasant. I would particularly like to highlight the traditional clothing of the staff, which adds an additional touch of culture and hospitality to the experience. The only disadvantage: the prices are relatively high for a lunch dish. This may be justified for the quality and ambience, but it's still worth considering if you want to dine here regularly. Overall, I can only recommend Ratanakosin if you want to treat yourself to something special.

Definitely recommended! Nice service, fresh food, lots of vegetables with the fried glass noodles, duck is exactly right - and not dry but nice and juicy. You can taste the authentic thing - even if it is of course toned down for European standards - but I will definitely eat here more often! We literally ate everything from appetizer to dessert and it was delicious!

Very tasty and authentic, great for picking up and taking away, definitely worth the price, but more for special occasions than everyday.

I knew the restaurant by its previous name: RAINBOW GARDEN. The former owner was already old and an original Thai. The current one has actually partially taken over the courts. The taste was okay. The duck meat was a bit tough. Will go for chicken next time. Unfortunately I only have 2 photos. But I recommend trying the restaurant.

We stopped by here because we happened to be staying nearby. What a hidden gem! The food is highly recommended and the staff is super friendly. They will help you with your choice and also let you know how spicy something really is.

Not authentic Thai food! Customer fraud! We went to Ratanakosin today because of the Thai Select seal. We ordered two Thai curries: No. 14 Gäeng Phed and No. 15 Gäeng Massaman. In both dishes, the Thai ingredients listed on the menu, Thai eggplant and Thai basil, were simply left out without informing us beforehand. When we pointed out that the ingredients listed on the menu were missing, the waiter responded by fetching a menu to check what was on his own menu. Then it said: “We haven’t shopped anymore because we’re going on vacation for 4 weeks.” There was no apology and no compensation. Conclusion: We doubt that this place ever overcooks Thai basil, let alone other expensive Thai ingredients. Neither the food nor the customer service here is Thai! Food: no difference to a Thai snack bar, but twice as expensive. Typical German-Thai food. Service: The service was not only slow, but also dishonest (see above). Ambiance: The furnishings were old and worn (stains on the armchairs, broken coasters for glasses). Our first and last visit! Hopefully the restaurant's incorrect Thai Select seal will soon be revoked. There don't seem to be any regular checks here.

Always delicious and extremely polite service. Ordering vegan is no problem at all and is received in a friendly manner. The menu is cleverly designed, the meat or veggie options are listed for each dish and you simply choose. I really enjoy going there.

We had dinner there yesterday. As always, the main meal was very good and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the spring rolls (starter) have deteriorated greatly in quality and consistency. Until a month ago I would have said that they had the best spring rolls “ever”. Unfortunately, yesterday they were fried way too dry and felt like they were filled with “leftovers”. Corn, red beans and glass noodles were also included in various filling levels. No comparison to before and definitely not 6.50 euros! The problem was raised with the waiter, unfortunately we did not receive an answer (will be passed on). A pity.
