We picked up food from this restaurant today. The food tastes very good! I also think it's great that you can get food in glass containers (deposit system).

Delicious Indian restaurant, a feeling when good friends are with good friends. Always a very tasty meal. Service comes first, fast service and always a kind word. The prices are high like everywhere else.

This Indian restaurant is highly recommended. The ambience is great, the food is delicious and the service is excellent. The owner always comes by personally to inquire about the food and usually has a casual comment ready. We are now regular guests and always enjoy coming here. We are happy to recommend it to others🤩

It opened around 2002 and have been a regular customer there for just as long. Very friendly service, good food (mild to spicy and if you want you can also get something typical of the country :). There has also been an explicit vegan section on the menu for some time now (meat eaters like me also like it). It makes sense to call and reserve in advance. Condition also makes good suggestions if you're not sure what you want.

Flavor explosions! A great selection on the menu. All the dishes we ordered tasted very good and were prepared to a high quality. The staff was very attentive and friendly throughout. The boss was very relaxed and extremely customer oriented. We were at the restaurant almost an hour before the reservation. Although the restaurant was very busy, we had a nice table prepared for us very quickly and were then served very quickly. It was really a great experience and we will definitely come back. Top!

A beautiful restaurant, especially for Arabs and Gulf people in particular. It is wonderful, and the employees are very courteous and top notch in their dealings.

I have been to Rama many times. However, I have to say that I'm starting to find the prices outrageous, so you have to think carefully about whether you want to pay that much... I think the food has also gone downhill...

Staff is very friendly and attentive.

Last year I paid €16 for the dishes and now the dishes cost €20. And the reason for it is because of inflation, of course!!

The reception and the waitresses were very nice and accommodating👍😉, the food was very tasty😋 (two dishes were recommended to me that weren't quite as spicy🙏), the decoration all around was worth seeing👏... All in all, my first visit to an "Indian" restaurant was a great (taste) experience😉😋!!! I can only recommend☝️😎. (08/28/2024)

Unfortunately we live too far away to eat here every day, because we would! Everything is perfect here, the best food, super friendly service, great ambience. If you go shopping in the next town, you should definitely try this brilliant Indian food! Addictive!

The curries are always to die for. In terms of price/performance it's still ok. Only the drinks are a bit too expensive for me.

Portions are very large, it would be better to share a main course. And maybe an appetizer too But in terms of taste it was good, a little too little Indian for us personally, although I think it is very well suited to normal European tastes Had the thali with shrimp, lamb and 2 pieces of chicken.

I visited the restaurant for the 2nd time. It was recommended to me by a colleague. It tastes delicious and the service here is very friendly. They always check on you and ask if everything is okay. I will definitely come more often. Keep it up. I will definitely recommend you ❤️

The atmosphere and service are pretty good but the food is just average. It is like one of those many Indian restaurants with westernised flavours ( filled with cream ). The portion is big but an individual wouldn’t need such big one, and according to the size, it’s overly priced. I wouldn’t recommend Thali at all as it tasted just like routine food, an average individual eats at a home everyday. Overall, I wouldn’t visit them again.

Great food, ok priced. Service nice. Pizza also very tasty 😋. Update July 2024: The service is still very, very nice and attentive. Unfortunately the food was a bit lacking, sometimes much too spicy. The price is now relatively high for the portions offered.

I come from Baden Württemberg and every time I'm in Neufahrn we go to Rama, the staff is incredibly friendly.

The food is still good and there is nothing wrong with the service, but the cleanliness and the ambience outside leave something to be desired. Most of the tablecloths are torn or have holes, the upholstery is stained and has seen better days. The terrace hasn't been cleaned for a long time, there are pieces of paper and dirt everywhere. It's a real shame because the food and friendliness are always good, but the atmosphere is really no longer nice.

Very good offer also for vegans and pizza lovers. Delicious food and sodas. We felt very comfortable.

A really very good Indian restaurant! I have both eaten there and picked up food there and have been very satisfied each time. The food was always delicious and the staff were always friendly and accommodating.

After a less than ideal and less pleasant week, I wanted to cheer my wife up a little. Your wish was my command. It wasn't our first time here and certainly not the last time either. The menu offers a sufficiently large selection, the food and drinks came quickly and were super tasty (especially the food and drinks are available in every drinks market ;-)). The service was extremely attentive and friendly, and the tip was also relatively high. One dish was takeaway. There was a choice between disposable and reusable tableware - reusable, of course. Unconditional recommendation!

Just wow! Vegan and gluten-free pizza that was super delicious! In general, you can get a lot of vegan and gluten-free options! For us it was a dream and an absolute stroke of luck! We will come back very often! Best regards!

We are currently working in Neufahrn and now visit Rama at least once a week for lunch. The staff is very friendly and the food is unique. M15 (Chicken 3 in 1) is highly recommended!

First things first, the food tastes good and the portions are really generous. The service is outstanding. They were always friendly and very attentive. The location and the ambience could be renovated and refreshed. PS: You should definitely make a reservation as it is always full there, especially on weekends.

Fine Indian restaurant near the Neufahrn motorway junction that I discovered by chance or because of the good reviews on Google Maps. 😎 The atmosphere and quality of the food are great, the service is “on the ball” and very accommodating, the portion size is second to none. 👌🏼 Mango Lassi and Chef’s Chicken Curry are highly recommended! 😋

My recent discovery. A wide variety of different dishes from around India, and the portions are really big. Everyone finds something to enjoy for sure, I really liked the lobster soup as an appetizer. Very nice and kind service, reasonable prices. Recommended, will be back.

Once again this year it was a very nice evening with delicious food. Table decorations beautifully arranged, it was a birthday. I think this will be an “every year” visit.

Wir hatten 3 Geriche zum Mitnehmen bestellt, 3 x Empfehlung des Hauses 'a 20 Euro. Zu Hause angekommen, mussten wir leider feststellen, dass der Fleischanteil echt sehr gering war, in jedem Gericht ganze 4!!!Fleischstückchen in Gulaschgröße. Echt für den Preis schon dreist. Die Gerichte vom Geschmack natürlich sehr gut. Wir sind ja nicht das erste mal Gäste dieses Hauses, aber jetzt sehr enttäuscht. Egal, ob Preiserhöhung oder nicht, man zahlt ja gern, aber nicht für 4 Fleischstückchen pro Gericht! Das war dann wohl leider das letzte mal....

We often go to Indian restaurants in Munich. This one was an exception because we wanted to go to Cineplexx Neufahrn and everything was full there. First great surprise when you get there: the nice greeting - “nice that you’re here!”. A simple sentence, but you hardly hear it anywhere else. Four of us (two kids) ordered a starter platter for two, garlic naan and two main courses. Lo and behold, four plates automatically came for each course, and they were specially preheated. Food is a dream, strong flavors but not overly seasoned. No fuss, the spinach in the palak paneer wasn't from Iglo, the chicken tikka massala with really nice fillets and fresh chilies and tomatoes. The appetizer platter included homemade sauces and raita, and the spicy paneer cheese with herbs was particularly delicious. Top!!!! The service was particularly great: drinks, additional rice and extra sauces, all delivered very quickly and during the meal. Here it is also understood that it makes sense to ask the guest during the meal whether they like it and whether they need anything else - unfortunately this is not a given in most other restaurants. Everyone was very friendly on the way out. We felt comfortable and welcome throughout, and many others can learn a lot from this store. Cheers!!!

Attracted by the mostly good reviews, ultimately a mostly disappointed conclusion for the high price (Neufahrn commercial area, and not Munich city center). In our opinion, stuffy, very warm air, old-fashioned rural, carpet ambience with a 90s look. Crowded bar area in front of the toilet, overall it looks untidy. Service was very friendly and quick. The chicken tikka for 23 euros with a good portion of meat pieces, boring sauce, little rice, 1 piece of nan. No pappadam on the house, but a sweet at the end from the almost empty bowl. Surprisingly well attended, very busy and loud. Overall okay, but not our taste.

Trotzdem das Restaurant so gut wie ausgebucht war bemühten sich die Mitarbeiter und schafften es auch für meine Tochter und mich noch einen Tisch zu finden. Das vegetarische Essen war exzellent und reichhaltig. Der Service ruhig, äußerst höflich und sehr aufmerksam. Wir fühlten uns als Gäste im besten Sinn angenommen.

Bin in letzter Zeit wirklich oft beim RAMA in Neufahrn. Dieses Restaurant überzeugt durch seine authentische Küche. Ich bin jedesmal begeistert vom Essen. Selbst in München ist der Rama bekannt. Von daher nur weiter zu empfehlen!

Sehr leckere Pizza. Wir haben die Tandoori Pizza bestellt. Es war sehr lecker und der Preis war auch top. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Definitive Empfehlung!

Great food, service & atmosphere. Had been there for a friend's birthday. Even without asking, the staff (Mr. ANKIT) decorated our table and set it up beautifully! Also, the food was very delicious and perfect to our taste (Desi style food) I highly recommend this restaurant for its great food and service.

Edited: The last three occasions left much to be desired in terms of the food's taste. It was consistently watery, and the flavours did not even come close to the authentic taste of Indian cuisine. On the positive side, the service and ambiance at this establishment are commendable. Additionally, the convenience of ordering online through the restaurant's website adds to the overall experience. In summary, due to the disappointing food quality, I've decided to discontinue ordering from this restaurant. Not a value for money.

Mit Abstand das beste Restaurants in der Umgebung. Ich bin seit einigen Jahren Stammgast beim Rama in Neufahrn und bin absolut überzeugt. Der Service ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und das Essen ist einfach jedes Mal wieder ein wahres Geschmackserlebnis. Auch für Menschen, die dem indischen Essen (noch) nicht so offen gegenüber sind, probiert es aus! Rahul weiß genau was er macht, geht mit dem Zeitgeist und steht absolut hinter seinem Restaurant. Wirklich große Empfehlung!

Wir sind hier immer wieder gerne, das Essen ist authentisch indisch und schmeckt immer hervorragend. Auch die persönliche und nette Art gefällt uns sehr. Das leere Glas steht nie lange auf dem Tisch und Reis wird auch immer nochmal aufgefüllt - wer da nicht satt und zufrieden raus geht hat was falsch gemacht :-)

Von aussen etwas unscheinbar - dafür innen umso mehr ein Augenöffner. Schöne, bunt indische Einrichtung. Das Essen etwas teurer, aber sehr gut. Also sein Geld wert. Sehr geschmackvoll angerichtet. Der Service flott, sehr freundlich und aufmerksam! Top

Ein richtig guter Inder. Gemütlich, aufmerksamer Service, leckeres Essen. Die Preise finde ich allerdings langsam übertrieben für Neufahrn. 5,50 € für ein 0,4 Liter Saftgetränk, 5 für ein Spezi. Das Essen wird auch alle paar Monate teurer und die Portionen bescheidener. Noch gehe ich gern hin, aber leider nicht mehr so oft.
