A truly fantastic Indian restaurant where the Indian flair shines through beautifully! The service is attentive, friendly, and very welcoming. The food is simply outstanding – authentic, aromatic, and absolutely delicious! Reservations are definitely recommended, especially during peak hours, but outside of these times you can usually get a table without one. A thoroughly enjoyable experience!

1000% recommendation! A huge selection of delicious dishes, and the vegan chicken was a highlight! And the service was incredibly friendly. Parking wasn't easy to find, so you should allow a few extra minutes.

I'm a bit surprised by the positive reviews regarding "value for money" here... We've been there several times over the past year or two, but now it's over. The prices for a lunch menu + drink are getting outrageous (€26). Especially since the dishes we ate were very, very bland. Why aren't the dishes seasoned? The ambiance, especially the chairs, seat covers, and tablecloths, are also showing their age and need replacing. Sorry, but we won't be going there again and can't recommend it.

To celebrate my birthday, I decided to go to the Rama restaurant. Upon entering, I had a very pleasant surprise: the table was beautifully decorated. The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly. I would recommend the restaurant for any occasion.

I was here for dinner with friends. Prices are like those at the Schwabinger Edel Indian restaurant in the Neufahrn commercial area. The lease rate for the S-Class outside is probably that high; they probably don't invest the hefty prices in the interior for tablecloths with fist-sized holes. The food looks great, but the taste is relatively bland, not what you'd expect from other good Indian restaurants. A shame.

We had lunch today at this restaurant. Honestly, it was delicious and the taste was average, but you eat clean food. What I recommend to you is the pasta, which is amazing and very delicious. The tikka masala is good, but not the best. The biryani is the same.

The staff is always attentive, friendly, and courteous. As a guest, you immediately feel welcome and well looked after, which significantly enhances the overall impression. Although the decor isn't quite to my taste, the first-class quality of the food and the outstanding service more than compensate for this. For all lovers of Indian cuisine, Rama is an absolute must and therefore deserves full marks.

My family usually comes here to celebrate birthdays or other special occasions. We've never had any complaints. The service here is very warm, which fits well with the decor and creates a family atmosphere. You never have to wait long for good food, and with the endless rice, you always get enough for your money to keep you going all day. A top-notch restaurant that I can recommend to everyone.

Unfortunately, it's far too expensive. Drinks, in particular, are completely out of proportion. €6 for a fruit juice spritzer??? Almost everything starts at over €20, and with naan, food, and a drink, it's over €30 per person without a tip, which is simply too much. Especially considering it's not in downtown Munich, but in Neufahrn...

The drinks are way too expensive: €6 for a 0.5 liter of Augustiner beer and €6.50 for a mango lassi. You wouldn't even pay that in downtown Munich. Outrageous.

Der Service ist sehr gut und auch das Essen ist sehr geschmackvoll und auch reichhaltig. Das rechtfertigt etwas die durchaus hohen Preise. Die Getränke, insbesondere Bier und Mango Lassi sind weit überteuert. 6€ für 0,5 L Bier zahlt man nicht einmal in der Stadt. Vor einem halben Jahr war es mit 5€ schon überteuert und die Inflation ist ganz bestimmt nicht um 20% gestiegen.

Have been visiting regularly for the past one year. The food is similar to north Indian restaurants in Munich, but the food quality is better, few dishes stand out and the service is exceptional. Chilli chicken (as starter) is one of our favourites. We also like the naan/kulchas, tikka biriyani, chicken dishes, mango tiramisu, coco chai.

I recently visited Rama Indian Restaurant in Munich and overall had a pleasant experience. The food was generally good, though there was some inconsistency in flavor and quality across different dishes. While not entirely authentic, the flavors were still enjoyable and acceptable for a casual Indian dining experience. A decent option if you’re craving Indian food in the area, but not quite a standout for purists.

We had a lovely evening in the restaurant with great food and very attentive service. The overall impression was only subsequently very clouded because I received a parking ticket from the "parking lot operator" 3 weeks after the visit! The penalty fee even exceeds expenses for food and drinks. For any contact requests vs. Unfortunately, I didn't get any feedback from the parking lot operator or the restaurant. It's a shame, but under these circumstances we strongly advise against a visit.

Edited: The last three occasions left much to be desired in terms of the food's taste. It was consistently watery, and the flavours did not even come close to the authentic taste of Indian cuisine. On the positive side, the service and ambiance at this establishment are commendable. Additionally, the convenience of ordering online through the restaurant's website adds to the overall experience.

One of the best Indian restaurants I have visited so far. The food is really delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and the service is attentive and very nice 😀. As a farewell, a bowl of chocolate is handed out from which you can choose something. The restaurant is also very child-friendly. We had our 11 month old daughter with us. Her meal, rice with tomato sauce, was brought to her very quickly (before our meal) so she didn't have to wait long. And the waitresses joked with her and made her laugh. A reservation is definitely recommended as the restaurant is always busy 👍.

I stated when making the reservation that we were coming to break the fast. We found our table with Ramadan decorations and bowls of dates. The food was brought to our table perfectly to break the fast. A real surprise in Neufahrn! Authentic Indian food is not easy to find in Germany - and we don't have the same eating habits either. The Rama finds a happy medium between the two cultures. Huge selection of delicious dishes from different areas of India. Meat, fish, vegetarian, vegan - it's all there. The levels of spiciness are described correctly - and you can eat really spicy if you want. Generous portions that you can take with you even if you can't make it. Very good homemade lemonades and lassis and very good fresh naan. Extremely friendly staff. We'd love to come back!

Very friendly staff. Excellent meat quality: so tender that it can be cut into pieces with a spoon. In terms of taste, the sauces are a dream and not so spicy that your mouth burns afterwards - very pleasant. Absolutely recommended.
