Have been visiting regularly for the past one year. The food is similar to north Indian restaurants in Munich, but the food quality is better, few dishes stand out and the service is exceptional. Chilli chicken (as starter) is one of our favourites. We also like the naan/kulchas, tikka biriyani, chicken dishes, mango tiramisu, coco chai.

I recently visited Rama Indian Restaurant in Munich and overall had a pleasant experience. The food was generally good, though there was some inconsistency in flavor and quality across different dishes. While not entirely authentic, the flavors were still enjoyable and acceptable for a casual Indian dining experience. A decent option if you’re craving Indian food in the area, but not quite a standout for purists.

We had a lovely evening in the restaurant with great food and very attentive service. The overall impression was only subsequently very clouded because I received a parking ticket from the "parking lot operator" 3 weeks after the visit! The penalty fee even exceeds expenses for food and drinks. For any contact requests vs. Unfortunately, I didn't get any feedback from the parking lot operator or the restaurant. It's a shame, but under these circumstances we strongly advise against a visit.

Edited: The last three occasions left much to be desired in terms of the food's taste. It was consistently watery, and the flavours did not even come close to the authentic taste of Indian cuisine. On the positive side, the service and ambiance at this establishment are commendable. Additionally, the convenience of ordering online through the restaurant's website adds to the overall experience.

Excellent cuisine and first class service

Always very happy! The food is perfect all around. Not overly seasoned and tastes the way I think it should. The quantity is also such that there is enough even if you are very hungry. The service is unbeatable, I don't have to write more.

One of the best Indian restaurants I have visited so far. The food is really delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and the service is attentive and very nice 😀. As a farewell, a bowl of chocolate is handed out from which you can choose something. The restaurant is also very child-friendly. We had our 11 month old daughter with us. Her meal, rice with tomato sauce, was brought to her very quickly (before our meal) so she didn't have to wait long. And the waitresses joked with her and made her laugh. A reservation is definitely recommended as the restaurant is always busy 👍.

I stated when making the reservation that we were coming to break the fast. We found our table with Ramadan decorations and bowls of dates. The food was brought to our table perfectly to break the fast. This is probably the definition of hospitality and the best experience we have had in a restaurant. 10 people and everyone enjoyed it, that says a lot about the very good cuisine. Any time

A real surprise in Neufahrn! Authentic Indian food is not easy to find in Germany - and we don't have the same eating habits either. The Rama finds a happy medium between the two cultures. Huge selection of delicious dishes from different areas of India. Meat, fish, vegetarian, vegan - it's all there. The levels of spiciness are described correctly - and you can eat really spicy if you want. Generous portions that you can take with you even if you can't make it. Very good homemade lemonades and lassis and very good fresh naan. Extremely friendly staff. We'd love to come back!

Very friendly staff. Excellent meat quality: so tender that it can be cut into pieces with a spoon. In terms of taste, the sauces are a dream and not so spicy that your mouth burns afterwards - very pleasant. Absolutely recommended.

Our favorite Indian. We always receive a warm welcome and you are happy to be there again. EVERY BITE is a PLEASURE here, no matter what you order.

Delicious Indian restaurant, a feeling when good friends are with good friends. Always a very tasty meal. Service comes first, fast service and always a kind word. The prices are high like everywhere else.

This Indian restaurant is highly recommended. The ambience is great, the food is delicious and the service is excellent. The owner always comes by personally to inquire about the food and usually has a casual comment ready. We are now regular guests and always enjoy coming here. We are happy to recommend it to others🤩

It opened around 2002 and have been a regular customer there for just as long. Very friendly service, good food (mild to spicy and if you want you can also get something typical of the country :). There has also been an explicit vegan section on the menu for some time now (meat eaters like me also like it). It makes sense to call and reserve in advance. Condition also makes good suggestions if you're not sure what you want.

Flavor explosions! A great selection on the menu. All the dishes we ordered tasted very good and were prepared to a high quality. The staff was very attentive and friendly throughout. The boss was very relaxed and extremely customer oriented. We were at the restaurant almost an hour before the reservation. Although the restaurant was very busy, we had a nice table prepared for us very quickly and were then served very quickly. It was really a great experience and we will definitely come back. Top!

A beautiful restaurant, especially for Arabs and Gulf people in particular. It is wonderful, and the employees are very courteous and top notch in their dealings.

Last year I paid €16 for the dishes and now the dishes cost €20. And the reason for it is because of inflation, of course!!

The reception and the waitresses were very nice and accommodating👍😉, the food was very tasty😋 (two dishes were recommended to me that weren't quite as spicy🙏), the decoration all around was worth seeing👏... Unfortunately we live too far away to eat here every day, because we would! Everything is perfect here, the best food, super friendly service, great ambience. If you go shopping in the next town, you should definitely try this brilliant Indian food! Addictive!

The curries are always to die for. In terms of price/performance it's still ok. Only the drinks are a bit too expensive for me.

Portions are very large, it would be better to share a main course. And maybe an appetizer too But in terms of taste it was good, a little too little Indian for us personally, although I think it is very well suited to normal European tastes Had the thali with shrimp, lamb and 2 pieces of chicken.

The atmosphere and service are pretty good but the food is just average. It is like one of those many Indian restaurants with westernised flavours ( filled with cream ). The portion is big but an individual wouldn’t need such big one, and according to the size, it’s overly priced. I wouldn’t recommend Thali at all as it tasted just like routine food, an average individual eats at a home everyday. Overall, I wouldn’t visit them again.

I come from Baden Württemberg and every time I'm in Neufahrn we go to Rama, the staff is incredibly friendly.

The food is still good and there is nothing wrong with the service, but the cleanliness and the ambience outside leave something to be desired. Most of the tablecloths are torn or have holes, the upholstery is stained and has seen better days. The terrace hasn't been cleaned for a long time, there are pieces of paper and dirt everywhere. It's a real shame because the food and friendliness are always good, but the atmosphere is really no longer nice.

Very good offer also for vegans and pizza lovers. Delicious food and sodas. We felt very comfortable.

A really very good Indian restaurant! I have both eaten there and picked up food there and have been very satisfied each time. The food was always delicious and the staff were always friendly and accommodating.

After a less than ideal and less pleasant week, I wanted to cheer my wife up a little. Your wish was my command. It wasn't our first time here and certainly not the last time either. The menu offers a sufficiently large selection, the food and drinks came quickly and were super tasty (especially the food and drinks are available in every drinks market ;-)). The service was extremely attentive and friendly, and the tip was also relatively high. One dish was takeaway. There was a choice between disposable and reusable tableware - reusable, of course. Unconditional recommendation!

Fine Indian restaurant near the Neufahrn motorway junction that I discovered by chance or because of the good reviews on Google Maps. 😎 The atmosphere and quality of the food are great, the service is “on the ball” and very accommodating, the portion size is second to none. 👌🏼 Mango Lassi and Chef’s Chicken Curry are highly recommended! 😋
