Hotel-Gasthof Maisberger in Neufahrn b.Freising

Trotz eines spontanen Besuchs der Gaststätte mit ca. 40 Personen hat nach anfänglichem Durcheinander am Ende alles toll funktioniert. Das Essen kam schnell und richtig. Die Bedienungen (Laura und Max) waren nett und engagiert.

War dort nur zum Essen und habe nicht übernachtet. Das Essen ist vorwiegend bayerische Küche. Die Portionen sind reichlich und der Preis echt günstig. Sehr zu empfehlen! Ich hatte ein Schäufele mit zweierlei Knödel und Krautsalat, was auf der Abendkarte €13.90 kostete. Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Weiter so!👍👍👍

Eher 0 Sterne. Bilder sagen mehr als alles andere. Hatte diesem Hotel noch mal eine Chance gegeben aber das war’s. Es gibt so viele andere egal welches man wird dort besser dran sein. MC Dreams sofort zu empfehlen

Tolles, traditionelles Hotel in Flughafennähe. Nur zwei S-Bahn-Stationen (S1) vom Hotel entfernt. Für einen Stadtbummel vielleicht nicht die beste Wahl, aber für einen Zwischenstopp am Flughafen ideal. Außerdem gibt es ein wunderbares, traditionelles deutsches Restaurant. Einziger Nachteil: Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und verfügen über keine modernen Anschlüsse für iPhones.

Essen was auf der Speisekarte steht gibt es nicht empfohlen werden minderwertige Gerichte als Ersatz Sehr schade 😕😕

Ein Tolles Hotel und Restaurants alle Mitarbeiter mega freundlich großes Lob. Das Essen immer lecker und vorallem preislich top vielen Dank unser Aufenthalt war top wir kommen wieder.

Das Essen war gut, auf heißen Tellern serviert und ich habe mein Eis bekommen, obwohl es nicht auf der Karte stand.

Günstig gelegen direkt an der U-Bahn-Station. Freundliches Personal, sehr große Zimmer, bequemes Bett, modernes Badezimmer mit Shampoo, Seife, Duschgel, Föhn und Handtüchern. Reichhaltiges Frühstück mit großer Auswahl, insbesondere an herzhaften Speisen.

Auf der Durchreise diesen netten Biergarten entdeckt. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und professionell.

Herr und Frau Maisberger sind die guten Seelen des Betriebs. Als Senioren kommen sie zum Tisch und fragen ob alles passt. Das vermittelt eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Gegessen haben wir gut. Die Bedienung war zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Geschlafen haben wir zum Hof hin. Man konnte die Bahnhofsuhr sehen. Der Zugverkehr hat aber überhaupt nicht gestört. Gasthof und Hotel haben also eine ideale Lage. Wünschenswert wäre eine kleine Ablage in der Dusche damit man sich nicht andauernd zum Boden bücken muss.

Ich traf mich mit Freunden, die einen Zwischenstopp in München hatten, zum Mittagessen. Super Lage (1 Minute vom S-Bahnhof entfernt) und tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis (unter 20 Euro pro Person für eine großzügige Portion und ein Getränk).

Alles bayrisch gediegen nur zu empfehlen.

Wir waren Richtung München unterwegs und haben spontan die Gelegenheit genutzt und dort lecker gegessen. Sehr freundlich.

Wir waren zum Essen in der Gastronomie. Essen war sehr 👍 gut. Leider war unser reservierter Tisch nicht frei als wir gekommen sind so das wir warten mussten. Dann kam die Suppe schon vor den Getränken was schade ist, wollten eigentlich vorher alle gemeinsam anstoßen. Wir saßen im Wintergarten wo der Geräuschpegel leider sehr laut war. Aber wie gesagt das Essen und vor allem der Preis macht vieles wieder gut. LG Bernhard

Ideal für Unternehmungen in München. Tolle Anbindung mit der S-Bahn (alle 20 Minuten). Auch Umleitungen bei Bedarf mit S- & U-Bahn sind überhaupt kein Problem. Tolles Frühstück optional zur Zimmerbuchung. Für das Abendessen kann man ins Hausinterne Restaurant. WLAN ist super.

Hotel nicht so ganz modern aber alles top in Schuß. Frühstückbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Kostenlose Parkplätze. Abendessen im Restaurant zünftig, gut und preiswert. Service sehr gut, flott und aufmerksam. Gaststätte war bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt. Lage außerhalb von München, nahe am S-Bahnhof und nur wenige km vom Flughafen entfernt gelegen. Absolute Empfehlung !

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den jungen Herren an der Rezeption. Seine professionelle und gleichzeitig sehr herzliche Art hat einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen. Man merkt, dass er seinen Job mit Engagement und Freude macht. Vielen Dank dafür!

Das beste deutsche Restaurant in der ganzen Gegend, besonders wenn man es gerne bodenständig mag. Das Essen ist köstlich und die Preise sind ausgezeichnet. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Waren heute 12.02.2026 da mein Mann hatte Geburtstag. Hatte am Vortag angerufen und angefragt ob es möglich ist den reservierten Tisch bisschen festlich zu gestalten. Dies wurde zugesagt. Am besagten Tag war nichts organisiert außer ein Schild mit " Geburtstag".? Keine Gratulation, Keine festliche Atmosphäre. Auf Nachfrage gab's nur müde Aussagen. Schade gehen künftig wieder zum Neuwirt in Garching.

Super Lage, flughafennah und nur eine Minute vom S-Bahnhof entfernt. Historisches Hotel, luxuriös und praktisch zugleich. Wunderschöne Antiquitäten im ganzen Haus. Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Ich würde hier bei meinem nächsten München-Besuch wieder übernachten.

Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel. Nahe am Bahnhof aber auch gut mit PKW zu erreichen. Ausreichen Parkplätze am Haus verfügbar. Freundlicher Empfang, freundliches, sehr bemühtes Personal. Ein kleiner Fahrstuhl erleichtert das Gepäckt tragen bis in die 4te Etage. Großräumige, gemütlich schick, hell eingerichtete Zimmer. Nicht alles auf dem neusten, modernsten Stand aber eben schick. Betten liegen sich gut, Minibar ist vorhanden, TV, WLAN ist in sehr guter Qualität. Zimmer und Bad sind ordentlich und sauber, der Service passt. Wer sich noch mehr entspannen möchte kann sogar die hoteleigene Sauna besuchen. Eine rechtzeitige Anmeldung ist jedoch notwendig. Allerdings ist die Sauna zur bestellten Zeit leider noch nicht warm genug. Frühstück ist auf einem umfangreich gestalteten Buffet angerichtet. Rührei, Würstchen sind auch dabei, wer aber Spiegelei wünscht kann dies auch bestellen. Für jeden Geschmack ist was zu haben. Der Kaffee schmeckt sehr gut. Auch abends ist das Restaurant sehr gut besucht, einen Platz findet man dennoch. Jeden Tag werden neue Gerichte angeboten, die Speisekarte ist umfangreich. Es ist gemütlich, das Essen schmeckt. Ich kann diesen Hotel-Gasthof empfehlen.

Negative Bewertung Leider war mein Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr unangenehm. Die Temperatur im Zimmer war extrem niedrig, etwa -3 bis -6 Grad, und es gab keine Heizung weder im Zimmer noch im Badezimmer. Die Kälte war kaum auszuhalten, und ich konnte die ganze Nacht nicht gut schlafen. Eine sehr unzufriedenstellende Erfahrung, die ich nicht wiederholen werde.

Wir waren nur zum Essen dort, daher können wir die Zimmer nicht bewerten. Essen und Service waren sehr gut, preislich wurde ich positiv überrascht, wir kommen wieder 👍

Wir waren hier im Restaurant, da wir aus dem Nachbarort sind. Hotel ist deshalb natürlich nicht bewertet. Es ist wirklich empfehlenswert, es gibt zwar an jeder Ecke einen Italiener, Griechen, Inder, etc. aber richtig gute deutsche/bayerische Küche findet man selten. Doch im Gasthof Maisberger findet man genau diese bayerische Küche. Traditionell, zünftig und super lecker! Die Preise passen hier auch noch und man bekommt was für sein Geld. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder und freuen uns schon darauf.

Great hotel, very friendly, good rooms, some newly renovated, superbly decorated. Excellent breakfast. The connection to the city and the airport via the S-Bahn is excellent. The train station is 2 minutes from the hotel. I highly recommend it.

Christmas party with support groups: delicious buffet, prompt and courteous service. Accessible: Restrooms in the basement with elevator. 2024: This year, 3 menus to choose from: also very tasty. 2025: Delicious as always.

Good hotel but we were on the 3rd floor and it was terribly hot, asked for a fan but there was a heater that blew both hot and cold air but very softly.

My review refers to the restaurant, not the hotel. Due to a job-related move to Neufahrn, my assistants and I had dinner at the Maisberger Inn. The value for money was excellent, and the service was really good! I had roast pork with dumplings and salad from the daily special, which cost just under €13 and tasted very good. The half-liter of beer was also very good. Definitely a very good alternative to the surrounding fast-food outlets. Unfortunately, such restaurants are rare in my hometown, the Ruhr region—all the better that this apparently isn't the case in the Freising area :-) See you soon!

The room was very hot, and the carpet was borderline bad. Slippers definitely recommended. The room rates aren't good: CHF 84 one week, CHF 110 the next week due to a computer program. Otherwise, it would have been 5 stars.

Nice hotel and the hotel restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced!

The prices listed online are different from those charged by the hotel. We booked a shared room for 4 people (2 adults + 2 children) for one night including breakfast for €108 online. We then sent a booking confirmation by email for only 2 people. We then called the hotel. Then the room suddenly cost €170. We were just passing through and just wanted to get into the room. We then took the room for €170. The rooms are relatively clean and relatively old, except for the bathroom, which has been renovated and is clean. We then had something to eat at the hotel, which was actually delicious, but we never got the salad we ordered and didn't pay for it either.

It’s reputed to be a 3-star hotel. To be honest, the rooms are due for a makeover. The mattress was quite horrid and the bathrooms are tiny. They make up for it with the fantastic and friendly staff and the excellent location which is by the train station.

Very friendly owners and staff. The rooms have everything you need; they're a bit dated in style, but I don't mind. My only criticism is that it's quite noisy if you sleep with the window open, as the beer garden is right next door. The food in the restaurant is delicious, and the price/performance ratio is also good. We'd be happy to come back. The location is also really good if you need to go to the airport. The S-Bahn runs directly from the hotel, and it only takes a few minutes.

The rating is for the restaurant and not the hotel. It was fine. We were there on Easter Monday and were not informed when making the reservation that there was only a special menu that day, so the selection of vegetarian dishes was limited to cheese spaetzle and salad. The normal menu may not have been available that day, even if there was a request. When ordering the drinks I asked for a menu but it wasn't given to me. Instead, the answer came: “There is what is available everywhere else.” I don't find something like that hospitable. After a rather listless list of what was on offer, I later saw that the drinks menu was also available online, although my drink wasn't on it. So it doesn't seem to be as common as claimed. The meat dishes were very tasty, the spaetzle was ok. At the end, our waiter (Alex was on the bill) didn't ask us if everything was okay, because I could have said this rating directly, but it didn't seem relevant. The connection is very good and easy to reach.

Everything you need in a hotel room is there. You can enjoy a hearty breakfast and dinner all from the same house. Excellent work done by the staff and of course the operator is also a great host.

A quaint place with a lot of history. The staff are very accommodating, the food is very good, but the portions could be a little larger. I find it sensational when the senior manager checks in on every single guest and asks whether everything is really okay. This shows how this hotel and its staff understand hospitality.

As part of our flight simulator club, we are regular guests here. The conference room we provide is always clean and beautifully decorated, with electricity and WiFi, including a projector. The service is top, the food is great and high quality. The prices are still completely fair, even in times of inflation and general price increases in the catering industry. Here you still have the feeling that the customer is king. Changing dishes and great selection. Always an experience. Keep it up! I can't say anything about the rooms, so they are not included in the rating.

First class accommodation, delicious and plentiful breakfast, friendly staff! If we are in the area, we will definitely choose the Hotel Meisberger!

Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. Prices were more expensive than advertised in the hotel. The single room was very small with a sloping ceiling and a small bed. The room was cold upon arrival. After a complaint, the temperature was adjusted, but unfortunately it wasn't sufficient. The sink didn't drain, but the toilet kept running until you hit it a few times. The TV was completely broken. I complained about everything at reception... Reception said: "Okay, we'll note it down." No "sorry" or anything like that. It's a shame. The breakfast was very good. But the price/performance ratio wasn't right in this case.

The food, such as the tiramisu, was very tasty and the prices were more than reasonable. We'd love to come back! Very friendly, nice service.

Was here for the second time on business. Rooms are a little older but not worn out. The location is right next to the train and bus station but not too noisy. As long as you keep the windows closed. You can eat directly in your own restaurant.

Can only be recommended! Breakfast top. Staff very nice. Wirtshaus makes very tasty food and a Jägerbier!!! Around the corner there is a direct S-Bahn connection to Munich (30 minutes). Parking in the yard. If you want to go to the Erding thermal baths and come from further away, you are in good hands here.

Furnishings are outdated, rooms are way too warm, heating can't be turned down. Dining is top, value for money is great. Located right next to the S-Bahn (only 2 stops to the airport), it couldn't be better. There is also a small bakery at the S-Bahn station

Perfect – this hotel will be our regular hotel for airport holidays! The breakfast is excellent, the staff is very friendly, and the rooms are clean with large TVs. There were three of us and we were completely satisfied. The S-Bahn is right in front of the door and takes you to the airport in just two stops. I found a parking space less than 200 meters away. We'd love to come back!

Rooms on the 4th floor are more like broom closets with 90cm beds in niches to crawl into. Elevator is out of service in the evening/night. Unfriendly staff at reception. The hotel was overbooked for the trade fair and they asked us to go to a double room. No apology, compensation or anything like that. I've never experienced anything like this! NEVER THIS HOTEL AGAIN!!!

Located directly on the SBahn, but quiet. Very nice hotel with really good rooms. Top breakfast. The restaurant is also highly recommended. Good home cooking. Very tasty.

If you need a "cheap" hotel near Munich and only want to get around by S-Bahn and want to eat gluten-free, this is the right place for you. The hotel is right at the S-Bahn stop, there is also a kiosk nearby and dinner is also possible at the hotel and it is very good. Booking a hotel room was uncomplicated, getting to the hotel late was easy and pleasant, the breakfast was a dream, everything your heart could desire. Thank you for everything and the good condition of the room, I'll be happy to come back.

Very clean and tidy but what was best of all - was all the help the receptionists gave us while we stayed there.

small but fine. clean, tidy rooms, nice breakfast, friendly staff, perfect location at S-Bahn line no. 1 & close to the airport. great if you arrive late or leave early by plane. we got the small rooms under the roof since it was an emergency booking late in the evening, the other rooms are bigger.

The service was super friendly and helpful from the first contact. This was also confirmed during our stay. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast buffet had everything you could want. The beer garden is also great. Friendly service, delicious food. We would love to come back.

I came across the Hotell-Gastgof Maisberger by chance because my original hotel had canceled (flood). I checked in there for one night including breakfast as I was passing through. The room was neat and clean. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to sleep with the window open. because of the traffic and the beer garden. Had dinner at the inn. Price/performance is definitely okay.

Stayed there because it is 10 minutes away from the airport. Wonderful. Amazing beer garden and it feels like you are in a small town eating with locals (no idea if that is the case but it feels like that :) Food tasted great and staff, restaurant AND hotel, was friendly and nothing to complain about. My room was ok, a bit small but that wasn't really an issue (not moving in). The TV was, by far, the smallest TV I have seen in the flat screen age. It feels they paid extra and searched for ages to get a screen that small. Ridiculous. Otherwise great. Location is amazing. Staff was really, really friendly. A bit disturbing though is the prominent picture (website and info pamphlets in the room) of the founder I guess in an SS uniform. I mean.... What?

Generally delicious, seasonal, home-style cuisine. It's nice that there are still traditional family-run businesses! :-) We often only go there to eat and therefore can't rate the hotel itself. But the location is very central at the Neufahrn SBahn station, cozy outdoor area, rustic and cozy inside.

There were four of us eating there and we were amazed at the prices in terms of price and performance, the portions were rather small and when asked, they didn't use organic products but Metro standard products, which we thought was a shame! The salmon with a few pasta for €18.50 is also not organic, incredible! We also noticed that no matter what the food is, it always seems to be tossed in butter... The staff is hard-working and nice but criticism is not seen as constructive for improvements... It's a shame The outrageous answer from the host below explains a lot :-D
