When ordering takeaway, I was left on the line for over 3 minutes after saying “just a moment please” until I decided to hang up. After I called again and ordered, a waiter in the restaurant (which was hardly busy at the time) pointed out to me that card payment was only possible for orders over €35 (my bill was €34.60) and I asked The colleague should wait with the wallet and she will collect the money straight away. He then went out of the restaurant to have a smoke and left me waiting for over 5 minutes while my warm food (which of course was only lukewarm afterwards) was ready in front of me at the counter. When he came back to the restaurant and I still hadn't been allowed to pay, he was suddenly able to charge me cash without using his colleague's wallet. No matter how good the food is, service like that really makes you lose your appetite!

✖️DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE ✖️ I arrived here 45 minutes before their lunch curfew, after I was declined seating even though they were 45 minutes before their official closing time listed here on Google (and witnessing this incredibly racist communication between the white woman owner and the Asian service lady) they offered for me to get a Takeaway. Which after traveling from the airport with Luggage, I had no other option… than to accept. Even though as mentioned, there were 45 more minutes left until they were closing, it felt incredibly weird that I had to sit on the bench on the other side of the restaurant while they were full of empty tables. On top of everything they didn’t even give me a spoon for the soup. The food was OK, but the treatment is something I will probably never forget. I travel all the time and this happened months ago so me coming back now and writing this review means that this place is something I will never ever want to revisit and absolutely wish that people like this owner would not operate restaurants. To the Asian waitress working there I really hope she finds a better job and she does not deserve such treatment…

Great value for money. Sushi also very nicely prepared. Guest garden/terrace looks out into the green at the back. Service very nice. Gladly again :-)

Essen: Der Geschmack und die angerichteten Speisen waren sehr ansprechend und lecker und die Portionsgröße war sehr gut. Service: Der Service war nett und freundlich, allerdings bei späterer Stunde etwas unachtsam. Ambiente: Das Ambiente des Restaurants ist mangelhaft. Der Außenbereich ist lieblos, eng bestuhlt, die Bepflanzung ungepflegt und der Ausblick auf Rohre und Kartonagen in einem Stauraum der direkt neben den Tischen sich befindet, ist ungemütlich. Die unzureichende und noch dazu ungemütliche Beleuchtung die vorhanden ist, ist leidet nicht ansprechend. Der Innenbereich des Restaurants ist schlecht gelüftet und noch dazu nüchtern und wenig asiatisch gestaltet.

Very tasty food and good service

Ordered for the first time for around €23, although the notice "Card payment from €15" can be found on every corner, card payment was not accepted. After I pointed out to the lady that it says card payment everywhere from €15, the lady said, "The boss wants it that way, no card payment upon collection". Unfortunately, as a customer you are not informed of this nor does it make any sense. So I should have said I eat it here and then I can pay by card? @Freising tax office

The food is very good. However, the prices have increased quite a bit. Drink prices are really outrageous. Unfortunately, service is no longer what it used to be. (Only friendly employee who has been there for many years) You are neither greeted in a friendly manner nor said goodbye. The outside area is rather neglected. Completely dried flowers, right next to the table. It's a shame that no one has a look at this. When it comes to prices, you should really pay more attention to the service and clean atmosphere - because the food tastes really good and is worth the visit.

We were completely thrilled!! The food was perfect (sweet and sour duck, duck coconut milk Thai curry)! There is a great homemade purple iced tea... Particularly noteworthy: The service was simply excellent!! It's rare to find such a great, quick and courteous waiter... We felt completely comfortable!!! Thank you !!!

For the ~10 months me and my partner have been here, we have come at least every two weeks. It has the best sushi (Tokio roll) and best duck (601) that we have ever tried in our life's. 100% recommended.

The food is okay, average, but the drink prices are absolutely outrageous. After looking at the menu, I ordered a small still water (0.2l) for €2.10 (by far the cheapest drink, be sure to check the menu otherwise the drink will cost you as much as the lunch menu), it was billed at €4.20 because that The waitress probably misunderstood and a small amount of carbonated water came. The food could be world class, that's just annoying and dubious. We won't go there again

Food and service really excellent. A very large selection of food and sushi. The drinks menu also leaves nothing to be desired. Very nicely and comfortably furnished. The only drawback was that card payment was not possible. Otherwise everything was great. Gladly again. :)

Just been there again. Food was really fantastic, the service this time was excellent (thanks to the young man who served us so kindly!). Even though the Mailis is relatively expensive, it was worth it.

Despite the relatively high prices, which are appropriate for the quality and category, only cash is accepted. When we asked whether it was possible to pay by credit card, we received the answer “they have a different billing system”. Well we believe that too......

Es gibt nur Abzug wegen: - Gestresstem Service (Bei den Preisen sollte genug Geld für eine weitere Service-Kraft da sein) - Lärm und Geruch (Extrem Laut wegen der Raumeinteilung und durch die offene Küche riecht man nach dem Besuch selber wider der Koch) - Sitzbänke (Keine Ahnung was ihr da für Material habt, aber ich kenne viele die hier mit „nassem“ Hintern rausgehen weil eure Bezüge null atmungsaktiv sind) - Nur Bargeld! (What? - das geht heut zu tage garnicht. Ich zahle zu 90% mit dem Handy… ihr seid jung und modern? dann müsst ihr hier investieren- das ist ein No Go!) aber nochmal: das Essen ist super gut. Egal was von der Karte. frisch und lecker.

Der Abend war in allem super. Man kann die Karte hoch und runter essen, alles Bestens. Als Ente-Fan komme ich voll auf meine Kosten, auch die Portionen sind perfekt. Auch Sushi Liebhaber finden hier ihren Favorit. Tolle Bedienung, tolle Deko und Service. Mein Lieblingsrestaurant! Nur die Kartenzahlung ist immer etwas kompliziert und direkt am Eingang zieht es kalt rein, sonst alles super!

Really liked this place. The staff was mostly Asian and they were like Asians. Loved it. Me and my wife ordered a spicy dish (Nr. 904) and it was not spicy. It was super tasty and great, just not spicy hence they loose a star. And the atmosphere is not really Asian. Either go Chinese totally open or more Singapore style with more cubical style dining. This place was neither.

Heute vor Ort gegessen. Positiv: Freundliche Bedienungen Negativ: über 30 Minuten Wartezeit auf Essen, falsches Essen aufgenommen (kann passieren), Essen wurde von mir beanstandet da Hähnchenfleisch sehr durchwachsen und teilweise knorplig -> Reaktion: kurze Erklärung das Fleisch vom Schenkel das wars (keine Alternative angeboten, gratis Kleinigkeit oder Sonstiges um Zufriedenheit des Kunden sicherzustellen). PS: Preisreduzierung hatte ich nicht erwartet Fazit: Das erste und letzte Mal dort gegessen, alles Gute trotzdem weiterhin!

Das Essen ist ganz gutes Mittelmaß aber ganz schön dekoriert, und die Preise sind einfach Münchner Verhältnisse geschuldet und noch im Rahmen. Was aber leider garnicht geht und ja ich weiß ich werde jetzt Diskussionen auslösen ist, das die Dame am Tresen und im Ausschank ihre halbe Offensichtliche Familie mit auf arbeit sitzt. Als ich angekommen bin spielte ein kleines Mädchen ca. 4 Jahre noch ohne weitere Aufsicht draußen. Was ja noch nicht so das Problem war wenn die Mama drinnen arbeiten muss. Aber zur gleichen Zeit saß die Offensichtliche Oma an einem Tisch im Gastraum und ließ sich ihr Bier schmecken. Da aufgrund des Windes das Spielzeug der kleinen draußen weg geflogen war und die kleine Maus dann den ganzen vorplatz zumammen brüllte holte die Oma nicht ohne vorher noch eine zu rauchen die kleine dann rein. In dieser Zeit das ganze beobachtend gab ich bei einem netten Herren meine Bestellung auf. Und nochmal ich bin selbst Vater und verstehe auch alleinerziehende Mütter etc...pp ABER die Oma hat sich kaum bis garnicht gekümmert genau so wenig die Mutter die ständig die lautstarke bitte der kleinen verneinte nach dem Handy das Geschrei ging durchs ganze Lokal woraufhin dann die kleine begann durch die Küche und durchs Lokal zu turnen. Unter und über Tische und Bänke sprang und dabei immer wieder um aufmerksam ihrer Mutter rief. Und als das noch nicht genug war lief sie der anderen Bedienung hinterher oder wahlweise auch mit ihrem Laufrad durch Lokal! Weder finde ich dies Hygienisch in Ordnung was das Rennen durch und aus der Küche betrifft noch finde ich dies in Ordnung für die Gäste und auch mich das wenn man Geld für sein Essen bezahlt solche Zustände vorherschen. Weder Hygienisch noch professionell. Nochdazu ließen so wohl die Oma als auch die Mutter die kleine alleine im Restaurant zurück wo sie sich so benahm um gemeinsam lieber zu rauchen vor der Einganstür. Das Mädchen kann einem bei einer solchen Mutter nur leid tun die nichts anderes als schreien und Blöcken zu ihrer Tochter kann. Der Wirt sollte sich überlegen ob dies weiterhin so Sinn macht denn auch der Dame Kollegen schämten sich sichtlich vor den Kunden über ihr Verhalten.

Wirklich frisches und köstlich gewürztes Essen. Man schmeckt, dass es auf offener Flamme zubereitet wird und die Auswahl ist riesig! Auch die Bedienung ist super angenehm und im Sommer kann man richtig schön draußen sitzen.

Reasonable prices and it's basically open when other restaurants are shut, like Saturday at lunch time. The little garden in the back is enchanting and very cosy. I love this place and highly recomment it!

Das Restaurant hat ein sehr schönes modernes Ambiente und ist nicht wie die klassischen Asiatischen Restaurants. Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend. Das Gemüse ist perfekt gegart und das Fleisch zart und aromatisch. Grundsätzlich habe ich nicht das Gefühl, dass mit viel Glutamat gekocht wird. Es gibt hier eine sehr große Auswahl an Gerichten, viele Spezialitäten und exotische Teller aber auch die klassischen Gerichte. Der gebratene Reis ist einer meiner Favoriten, der ist unvergleichbar. Ansonsten kann ich die Ente in der Erdnuss Ananas Soße empfehlen. Alle Gerichte werden frisch zubereitet. Das merkt man mit jedem biss.

Ich glaube ich habe noch nie besseres Sushi gegessen...

Wir waren schon öfter in Mailis Restaurant und waren jedes Mal begeistert. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Speisekarte zeigt eine sehr große Auswahl an Gerichten und speziell bei Sushi gibt es sehr außergewöhnliche Wahlmöglichkeiten. Anbei einige Fotos der Speisen vom letzten Mal. Ganz generell ist mein Favorit die Kombination aus Udon Nudeln, Pulled Chicken und Wan Tan - super kreativ und lecker! Die Portionen sind mehr als ausreichend und die Preise sind in Ordnung. Weiter so - wir kommen gerne immer wieder!

Hervorragendes Essen. Atmosphäre etwas kühl. Service ist in Ordnung. Sushi sind nicht der Hammer, aber die Suppen sind Wahnsinn. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

Wenn ich könnte würde ich auch noch mehr Sterne geben!!! Selten einen so aufmerksamen, freundlichen und sympathischen Service erlebt. Alles ist extrem appetitlich angerichtet und es schaut nicht nur sehr gut aus, es schmeckt auch wirklich wirklich gut, wir haben dieses Lokal jetzt mehrfach getestet und waren jedesmal wie auch unsere Gäste begeistert. Reservieren dringend empfohlen!!!

You would think a certain frequency in returning to a particular venue to be a sign of a excellence. Sadly, each visit so far, has been a hit or a miss. Food has been quite good, sometimes a bit to the salty side, but that's happenstance. Suggesting any ammends to your order is seemingly frowned upon, with the chef putting great effort into the authenticity of his recipes. That said, there is more than one authentic recipe to any dish. In any case, best to stick to the dishes à la carte. 4 stars. Service has its issues with staff generally seeming overwhelmed even when the vast majority of tables are not taken. So, avoid appearing without a reservation, as some staff do not look kindly upon it: One time the waitress left us waiting for taking our order for over half an hour. Another time, tables with reservations were notably given preference over those without, and just recently, it was beneath the very same member of staff to hand us the menu. If this review were based upon the waitress in question and the general impression there wouldn't be any stars issued here. It's the other staff that still manages to counterbalance to 2 stars. The atmosphere is swell. The restaurant is pleasant and there is a terrace to the rear of the place. 3 stars. In the end it really trickles down to who exactly will be serving you. Either one gets served by a friendly staff member, which evens out any unbalance or discord as to the details surrounding the food itself, or - when less fortunate - not at all. I really want to like this place. It is just sad that there is so much negative impact on this review coming in from staff.

Das Essen war richtig lecker, sowohl das Sushi, als auch das Hähnchen mit Reis und Gemüse in Erdnuss-Soße. Würden wir nicht so weit weg wohnen, würden wir gerne öfter herkommen. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es dafür, dass man leider nicht mit Visa zahlen und die Servicekraft öfter hätte vorbeischauen können um z.B. noch ein Getränk zu bestellen, aber sonst war der Service wirklich gut!

Das Essen ist sehr gut Die Portionen sind riesig. Personal freundlich. Leider lange auf die Getränke gewartet. Die Cola war lauwarm.

Schönes Restaurant mit großen Innen- sowie auch kleinem Außenbereich wo man schön sitzen kann. Waren schon mehrfach da und wurden nie enttäuscht. Essen egal ob Ente oder Sushi ist immer sehr gut. Preise sind in Ordnung. Service war immer freundlich. Gerne wieder!

Super tolles leckeres Essen und sehr freundliches Personal

Wir waren zum Abendessen dort. Wichtig ist vorab vielleicht ein Tisch zu reservieren. Der Service war aufmerksam am Anfang aber zwischendurch zeitweise etwas überfordert. Trotzdem waren alle freundlich. Das Essen wie immer war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Es gibt auch immer was Saisonales, wie z. B. den Vegane Gerichte im Januar. Leider war die Weinauswahl eine Katastrophe. 3 bestellte Weine waren nicht verfügbar. Man hat dann noch einen gefunden, der war auch gut aber das ist etwas peinlich eine Weinkarte anzubieten und dann ist über die Hälfte nicht da.

Heute wollte ich das Lokal mal ausprobieren. Um 14:30 angekommen relativ unfreundlich darauf hingewiesen: „ Wir haben schon zu!“ Ich entgegnete, dass doch bis 15:00 Uhr geöffnet sei. Daraufhin, die Küche ist schon zu. Service geht anders, auch wenn nebenbei erwähnt wurde, vielleicht macht er noch was zum Mitnehmen. Vielleicht… so was geht gar nicht. Ausprobieren werde ich das Lokal auch nicht mehr. Es gibt freundlichere Gastronomen.

I had the curry with fried chicken. The sauce was very good though not hot enough. The chicken was a dry, tasteless piece on the side. The vegetables were wrong, too: many carrots, zucchini, and pineapple (didn't work). I had big problems with the check, especially since they didn't take credit/debit cards. The total was 34, so instead of 66 change, she gave me 46. I pointed that out, so she used a calculator, then gave me 56!

Am 29.10.21 waren wir im Mailis, um den 18. Geburtstag unseres Enkels zu begehen. Alle waren mit dem Essen zufrieden. Ich allerdings war doch enttäuscht obwohl ich in der Regel eher leicht zufrieden zu stellen bin. Ich gehe davon aus, dass ein Gericht, mit Hühnerfleisch und Nudeln keine komplizierte Sache ist. Allerdings haben die Energiesparmaßnahmen das Lokal offensichtlich schon erreich, da das Essen bestenfalls handwarm war. War also nicht unbedingt der Renner. Ich habe nichts gesagt, um dem Enkel nicht die Freude an seinem Geburtstag zu vermiesen. Wenn die Familie wieder das Haus besuchen sollte, werde ich mich nicht verweigern, aber aus eigenem Antrieb bestimmt nicht. Auch der Service ist eher holprig, erscheint überfordert und lässt es an Höflichkeit vermissen. In eine Dönerbude kann das durchgehen, hier nicht.
