R10 Restaurant & Bar in Leipzig

I visited this restaurant with my brother for dinner. First of all, when we arrived, the staff were standing around debating who would come over to assist us, and no one seemed eager to help. The tables were fully booked, but they offered us seats at the bar, assuring us we could still have dinner there. We sat at the bar and waited for 15 minutes, yet not a single member of staff came over. Even the people working behind the bar didn’t make eye contact with us during that time. Eventually, we decided to leave. The service was absolutely awful. I understand that Germany isn’t particularly known for great service, but this was beyond disappointing. I won’t be coming back and would suggest others to consider different options.

An unexpectedly great experience, we ended up there on a recommendation and were thrilled by the food, service and ambience. Great care from Eva and owner Paul. Gladly again! Absolutely recommended.

A modern bar. Not too big. A small selection of food is prepared on the table. Unfortunately there were no prices on the menu, which I found completely inappropriate. Who then asks for the price of each dish? Not a cool idea. If you then have to ask the internet for the estimated prices. Food was good but not too much. Staff was very nice.

Everything was just right in the R10: the atmosphere, the selection and quality of the food, the attentive service and the excellent wine advice. Gladly again.

Cocktails are wonderful, the food is delicious, finished the dinner with a Crème Brulée, one of the best I tasted. Also the staff is very attentive and nice. Great experience at R10. I will come back for sure.

Top address! Even though we didn't have a reservation, we got a table. This was initially in the lounge area, where the tables were really close together. After we were informed that someone had (fortunately) not kept their reservation, we were assigned a table by the window. The tables were all beautifully set, the menu was clear but still extremely interesting. I think the prices are justified given the atmosphere and the food chosen. We really enjoyed the wine and the selection of wine, aperitifs, digestifs, cocktails & gin is a dream for every bar lover! Food and drinks came very quickly and tasted great, the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, the toilets are clean, there are vegetarian dishes to choose from, a daily menu and the room temperature was pleasant. All in all very nice and a wonderful end to the day for me. You can't ask for more. On my next visit to Leipzig I will definitely try out the desserts.

Still… best bar in town… Have been coming here regularly for several years. The food and drinks are always top and of consistent quality. The service is always friendly and quick. An evening at the R10 is always a 5 star experience.

There were seared pimientos, risotto, and a piece of veal on the bone, with delicious side dishes. We were very satisfied with the taste and presentation. The risotto could have been a bit more. The service was very good, attentive and friendly. We ate very comfortably, the atmosphere looks harmonious and modern, big praise for that. It wasn't full, for a Thursday around 6:30 p.m. it suited us very well and we had a great time. We liked the music selection and it wasn't too loud. We would love to come back and look forward to a new individual menu. See you then.

we spent two days in Leipzig and after coming by chance to this restaurant last night, we decided to return: the food is very good: last night fried calamari with an oriental flavour, delicious, very light; tonight Australian Flanksteak cooked to perfection, very tender!!! (even the panzanella was very good). Excellent service, trained, friendly, attentive staff. Average price.

The food was quite good, but the price-performance ratio didn't quite match. The large tacos are very small (8 EUR) each and the steak comes with no side dishes at all. A reference to this would have been helpful. We received the food at different times, with a difference of 30 minutes. So you couldn't eat together. Overall it didn't feel smooth. It's a shame, we expected it to be different.

The food is always very good, even back then on Beethovenstrasse. It's a shame that the wine list is so limited, especially the open wines are as irrelevant as they are overpriced. The biggest point of criticism for me is the tap water from the Soda Stream, I really miss it. Such a shame! With a more ambitious wine selection and reasonable mineral water, it could be the best spot in Leipzig.

It was really good here. An unusual, modern atmosphere, with original art on the wall, I immediately felt at home. The service was just super attentive and friendly, a real pleasure to get in touch with. The food was very good, originally prepared and the wine list was extensive. Any time and gladly again.

Unfortunately I got food poisoning from the Tuna Tartar that same evening. Unfortunately it ruined the stay and the evening itself. Unfortunately I can't recommend it.

You prepared a great meal, I never liked calamari but your creation was outstanding. Maybe you can create your own sauces for fries, etc. instead of using ketchup and mayonnaise from a bottle. Wine selection top. Service was great, the girls did a very good job. Definitely a reunion and a recommendation

Disclaimer for the review: Due to the high prices, my demands are accordingly. Compared to lower-priced restaurants, the R10 is of course top. The food was delicious and really creative for a bar! The staff was very accommodating and sometimes even a little too fast. The food came super quickly, even after we asked for the kitchen to take some time after the starter, the main course came after an estimated 10-15 minutes. You felt a bit rushed. As I said, the food is delicious, but unfortunately my (first) pork belly was very dry, so I asked for some sauce, which was immediately refused and insisted on bringing the dish again. The second pork belly was again very tasty.

The three of us were with friends the other day, the table is small, it feels like you're sitting at the bar, but in general it doesn't spoil your evening. The atmosphere of a modern restaurant is very beautiful! Cocktails are delicious. Someone complained about the wine list, but there were as many as 2! of my favorite wines, so I am satisfied. The duck was not a masterpiece, but the side dish was interesting. Mashed potatoes were incredible!!! Must eat! The waitress is friendly. In general, we had a great evening! The price is high, but folks, you see where you're going, it's your choice to pay that price or not 😁 Thanks! At a height!

I always make a concerted effort to visit whenever I am in Leipzig! From the deliciously tasty food (the tune tartare and chocolate terrine are off the charts), to the great service and wonderful atmosphere, R10 is my must-go-to spot in Leipzig! Can't wait to come back!

Tolles Bar in Leipzig mit hervorragenden Drinks und tollem Essen

Essen war wieder top hätte zwar 2–3 Löffel mehr sein können, aber dafür war der Service im Keller, wenn man Champagner bestellt und die Kellnerin beim Öffnen die Hälfte daneben laufen lässt und wir uns die Gläser selbst ein gießen müssen, ist es kein guter Service und die falsche kostet keine 80 € 180 € da muss man schon Service erwarten

Sehr leckere Cocktails und Getränke. Leider ist die Akustik nicht optimal und die Musik war an dem Abend sehr laut. So sind Gespräche mit dem Gegenüber fast nicht möglich. Sehr schade und viel Potential verschenkt.

Sehr stylische, coole Bar mitten in Leipzig. Top Barkeeper mixen sehr gute Drinks. Sehr viele hochwertige Sorten von Gin, Rum etc. werden angeboten. Klare Empfehlung für einen Besuch.

Großartig - das war das Highlight unseres kurzen Besuchs in Leipzig. Dazuhin professionell und sehr freundlich bedient - ein Sonderlob !

War nun inzwischen schon ein paar Mal im R10. Sehr gute Drinks, für die ich gerne auch mal etwas mehr ausgebe und dazu ein sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Aber beim Essen stimmt meiner Meinung nach das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Da wird viel Brumborium um Essen gemacht, das zum Teil nichts Besonderes ist (außerdem beim letzten Besuch nur ein vegetarisches Hauptgericht). Also als Cocktailbar top aber für ein Dinner kann man woanders besser essen gehen

it has great potential to be the go-to place if you're in Leipzig either living or visiting for a few days. Easy to get to, in the center of the city. The service was friendly, Professional, and quick. We tried 5 different Cocktails and they were all very tasty. The Korean bbq chicken with coleslaw was very tasty, the fries were nice and crispy, though I don't understand why we got a small package of ketchup and mayo instead of homemade mayo, ketchup at least in a small serving platter. The salmon was done nicely. I just feel they should be more daring with what they serve for food, take it up more than two notches. Be a little more wild and leave us impressed with an unexpected, flavourful surprise. show us what else your great cooks can come up with. Oh and a bit more salt.

Ganz tolle Bar, hervorragende Auswahl an Getränken, feines Essen und toller Service. Die Coctails sind super , tolle Auswahl! Man fühlt sich sofort wohl, das Team ist so liebenswert freundlich und professionell. Schöner Freisitz im Sommer!

Had a great time, can’t understand the negative reviews about high prices… these guest never been to cocktail bars in Munich or London. Boy, even Imperii has similar prices (also a good cocktail bar….) Will definitely comeback

Getränke gut, aber teuer. Das Essen ist ebenfalls teuer und aufgrund der guten Bewertungen, des Preises und der ausgefallenen Karte hatte ich hohe Erwartungen. Gefüllte Aubergine mit Tofu und Erdnüssen - genau das war es auch. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Tofu ungewürzt und trocken. Dafür 18€. Das bekommt man selbst besser hin. Das Thaicurry war in Ordnung, aber wenig Soße und nicht außergewöhnlich lecker, keine 25€ wert. Zudem ist es sehr eng, die Tische stehen sehr dicht und der Lärmpegel ist so hoch, dass man sich kaum unterhalten kann. Hier essen würde ich nicht nochmal, einen Cocktail trinken, wenn mir das Geld gerade locker sitzt, vielleicht

I'm rating for the "restaurant" not the bar part. It's our second choice as the other one is full. The food was fine, but for the price (50+ per person) i definitely expect more, especially for the Peking Duck, as an Asian I feel somewhat fooled, it's no better than 5 euro "Asian box" duck. And the cake tasted a bit too creative in an unpleasant way. Atmosphere and service are good tho so I don't mind giving it 3 stars.
