Delicious food. I had the duck with peanut sauce. Absolutely perfect. The duck was incredibly tender and beautifully pink. The service was also super friendly and incredibly fast. I'd definitely order again.

I would give it six stars. Absolutely recommended! We were a group of eight at Qilin – everyone ordered a different dish, and everything was absolutely delicious! From sushi and fried noodles to the meat dishes, everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick, even though the restaurant was busy. The ambiance is also pleasant – modern, clean, and cozy. The price-performance ratio is excellent. We will definitely be back! 🍜🥢

We were guests a few years ago and were happy to be back, but we were all disappointed with the taste of the food, except for the sushi. I missed the typical vegetables in the sauce; instead, I had apple pieces and a little mango in the very acidic sauce. The duck, on the other hand, was super tender and truly delicious. The drinks (handmade Lino) unfortunately didn't appeal to me; I've had better ones. The servers were friendly, and the ambiance is pleasant. Conclusion: next time I visit Magdeburg, I won't be sad if it's closed or reservations are no longer available.

An experience... consume - and then the guest is kicked out. That's how it works in this restaurant. You've barely finished eating when your plate is cleared, followed by your glasses - and immediately after that comes the bill. And then you're literally escorted out. Very rude and anything but hospitable. Good sushi. But no, better go somewhere else.

Worst (veggie) bowl I've ever had! €16 for: A portion of rice, topped with 10 edamame, 10 mini cubes of cucumber, 10 pickled radishes, 5 mini pieces of avocado, 2 pieces of bland fried tofu, and a bit of sauce. It tasted as dreadful as it looked. The others had udon noodles with pink duck, which looked 1000x better (but also had hardly any vegetables). I tried it too, and it was delicious. But my meal was a real disgrace. Small portion, and what was there was almost only rice and tofu. You don't need to go out for that! I won't go back there.

The staff is usually friendly and attentive, but this time we were unlucky: the service was a bit impatient with my parents, which was a shame and doesn't match the otherwise positive impression. Nevertheless, Qilin remains a clear recommendation for me – top-notch flavor, comfortable seating, and definitely a place I'd gladly visit again.

We had truly excellent service, who were very attentive and regularly checked on our well-being. The food was also unique and delicious. I actually like the typical "Kross Duck," but this grilled version was also incredibly good and definitely of higher quality than what you'd normally get. Even the tofu was beyond reproach and tasted homemade. No comparison to tofu from the supermarket.

The teriyaki sauce is insane; you won't find anything like it in Magdeburg. If you're lucky, you might even get a spot spontaneously, but I would still recommend making a reservation in advance.

We used to enjoy coming here. Now the prices have risen so much that it's almost a turn-off. Unfortunately, the price hasn't improved along with the quality or service. The supposedly draft beer was lukewarm, and the food was mediocre at best. The exotic version of the duck came with a slice of pineapple and an apple cut into dice-sized pieces: Aha... if it had been a snack, you'd probably have grinned - but for €19 = unbelievable!!! While there were still guests present, the tables and chairs on the terrace were chained together shortly after nine. Rarely have I eaten so poorly for so much money. A real shame and disappointing.

Unfortunately, my last visit on Saturday was a very different experience. When I asked one or two questions about a dish, the waitress responded in a condescending and know-it-all tone, which seemed rude to me as a guest. The lady didn't even bother to say goodbye at the end. This significantly spoiled the otherwise pleasant atmosphere and left me and my companion with a disgruntled impression, so I largely refrained from tipping this time. It's a shame, because the food is still excellent – I hope the service will return to the level of previous visits in the future.

The food wasn't as described on the menu and was only removed when we asked if it was correct. The service could have turned things around, but apparently, they've arrived in the service desert of Germany. Sorry, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I was here today for the first time in a long time, and unfortunately, I have to say that the quality has dropped considerably. The duck wasn't crispy at all; it was more like limp and undercooked. Then in the evening, I got stomach cramps and vomited, which I hadn't expected. It's a shame I've lost the desire to eat out. The prices are rising, the quality is falling.

I've been happy with the restaurant so far. But today it was an absolute disgrace. After 60 minutes and a no to the question about coffee specialties after dinner, we were told in no uncertain terms that they needed our seats because they didn't want to open the upper level and a new reservation was coming. A minute later, unsolicited, the bill lay in front of me. Of course, there was no question about whether everyone should pay individually or everything together. There was no response from the service staff about the new way of dealing with customers. They simply smiled it off. At the counter, when I asked, they showed me the manager, but he was also speechless. In any case, not a word came from his lips. Criticism here seems to go in on the left and out on the right, or vice versa.

A nice, short meal. I felt particularly well served in the short time I had before the train departed. My requests were met. I enjoyed the restaurant's ambiance; the service and food were engaging. Next time, I'd like to stay a little longer.

Had the best tofu dish ever there! ♡ Number 92, breaded crispy tofu with lots of vegetables, peanut sauce, and rice. It was simply perfectly prepared and seasoned. Amazing, so delicious. The service is also good, and the homemade cocktails and lemonades are really delicious. I'd go back anytime.

The place is large and beautiful. We arrived without a reservation and still managed to get a seat for four people. The server who served us from the start was good and friendly. In the end, there was a mix-up over the leftover food, and we ordered takeout (with another server). He told us the kitchen had thrown it away and they could give us something as compensation. In the end, they gave us the same food we ordered to go, which didn't seem right to us. Other than that, everything was fine.

I reserved a table here because my wife had only heard positive things. Well, I thought I would make a reservation and go. Ambience, facilities excellent, chic and modern. We were sent up and were able to choose a spot because there wasn't that much going on yet. The first impression of the service was quite good, but that gradually changed. More on that later. First round started: drinks, went quickly and tasted good. The second round: Starters ordered with main course, timing of the starter was relatively quick and the taste was okay. Then came the soup and the Eda... (it gets more and more crowded and louder as time goes on) Eda wasn't my cup of tea (if you like it please) the soup was a positive surprise and was okay... But then…. We waited at least 30 minutes for our sushi plate. And guests at other tables (who arrived much later than us) got their meals earlier than us, when my wife politely pointed out that the dishes could be cleared away and the empty glasses could be taken away straight away, the service person “NR.4” (with the wallet) was suddenly no longer so friendly and just looked snide as she walked past and that was that. The sushi came after what felt like an eternity and well, it was okay, we've had better. We were full and I wanted to drink something else, but because the service was snippy and not really attentive, we just wanted to have the bill after a certain time (20 minutes after the sushi) and pay it straight away and left, we will NOT be coming back.

My wife and I spontaneously stopped by today. The food came very quickly, we didn't even wait 15 minutes, and it was also very tasty. Service is simply 10+/10.

We ordered delivery via Ubereats at 6 p.m. At 7 p.m. our order was still in transit and was suddenly canceled. We then called Qilin to ask what happened. The employee wasn't really interested and just said their responsibility ends once they hand the food over to Ubereats. That happens sometimes. I have never experienced such poor customer service. We should contact Ubereats ourselves even though Qilin has a contract with this company. I've always been a huge fan of this restaurant, but that's really not possible. If I offer a delivery service like this, I have to make sure that it works.

Food was quite good, service was nice. Despite reservations, we had a table in the aisle and on the stairs. Other couples came along and had better tables, but we weren't allowed to move either. Food a little more expensive but good quality.
