Great people and delicious food!

The QILIN restaurant in Augsburg is absolutely fantastic! The food is incredibly delicious, very fresh, and consistently high-quality. The staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient, making you feel well taken care of at all times. The premises are spotlessly clean, and everything is well-maintained and inviting. It's clear that great emphasis is placed on aesthetics, quality, and good ingredients. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I've been to Qilin Restaurant several times with family and friends. The food is simply delicious, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Since I've been to Qilin, I know what a flavor explosion really means. An incredible culinary experience. It's the best Asian restaurant I know. The service is incredibly friendly and attentive, and I always look forward to going back. I haven't been to any other Asian restaurant since.

We went to Qilin for the first time yesterday, as they only offer sushi on weekends. The ambiance is very pleasant, but the service staff had very poor German skills, and the wait for the appetizer was 45 minutes, which is really not good considering the restaurant was only 50% full. Since we came specifically for the sushi, which was heavily advertised, we were very disappointed. The plates were presented without any care, and presentation is important, the sushi was just okay, the rice was too hard, and paying almost €17 for 3 mini maki rolls, 3 mini avocado rolls, and 8 medium-sized cream cheese sushi rolls is really steep. It's okay for the occasional spontaneous bite to eat, since we live nearby, but sushi is definitely out of place there.

Congratulations on Qilin's fifth "birthday"! Since the very first day, we've been enthusiastic guests, enjoying the delicious food and drinks. Our friends, some of whom are from Vietnam, are also impressed by the high quality of the food and drinks and delighted by the very friendly service. When the weather is nice, the outdoor terrace is a lovely place to relax. The restaurant itself has been designed with great attention to detail. We always enjoy coming back. Everything is great, keep up the good work!

Besides the great food, they also serve super delicious, shimmering drinks. A real eye-catcher! Luckily, we arrived early enough and were served quickly.

What was particularly great: We had mentioned it was someone's birthday when we made our reservation, and the table was lovingly decorated. They even included dessert on the house – a truly lovely gesture! We'll definitely be back – highly recommended!

I had the vegetarian summer rolls for starters and the number 40 (vegetarian with tofu, peanuts, and coriander, served with a delicious sauce and a salad with a fantastic dressing) for my main course. It all looked beautiful, too. I'll be back! :)

Typical Vietnamese restaurant. There were some flys inside of the restaurant when we were wasting. But food is decent! Nothing crazy, nothing bad.

The ambiance is very pleasant. The staff enhanced the evening even more and gave us good advice on our dish selection. The service was quick and good.

My order was canceled 45 minutes before closing time, without any explanation. They weren't in the mood, or what's the meaning of that? Then adjust your opening hours. Outrageous. Never again.

The food was excellent, almost perfect! 4 stars for the service because we had to wait a bit, but the friendliness was top notch. The ambiance itself was also very nice, but my table was right by the bar, so I could hear all the hustle and bustle from the kitchen and bar. The prices were also completely reasonable. All in all, very good and highly recommended.

I could not count how many times I have been here. The food is delicious as always. The dishes are reasonably priced. Just love the atmosphere and the customer service. Spring rolls are my favorites, they are so hot and crispy. Ordered a dessert that finished my meal off perfectly. Other dishes and drinks are also well presented and excellent. Highly recommend to those who love to dine in a pleasant atmosphere with amazing selection of dishes.

Finally found the true taste of Vietnam at Qilin. Their “Bún bò Nam Bộ” & Mango-Duck salad are the best I’ve had here—I’ve lost count of how many bowls I’ve eaten, and I’m still coming back for more. Their vegan options are just as satisfying. Cozy vibe, friendly staff, and amazing food. The only restaurant I can confidently recommend to all my friends, no matter where they’re from.

We traveled from the UK to Germany for a trip and family visit, and along the way, I tried this restaurant. It was an amazing experience! Pho with Beef 🥢 The broth was light yet flavorful with a hint of spices. The beef was tender, and the rice noodles were perfectly chewy. With fresh bean sprouts and spring onions, every bite was satisfying. Appetizer Platter 🍤 The spring rolls were golden and crispy, packed with delicious filling. The fried dumplings were also great—thin, crispy skin with juicy filling inside. The two dipping sauces added extra layers of flavor. Atmosphere 🌿 With wooden tables, red chairs, and simple yet cozy decorations, the restaurant had a relaxing vibe. The overall dining experience was excellent. If I get the chance to visit again, I definitely will! Highly recommend!

If we leave my mother's Bavarian duck out of the equation, then this lunchtime was the best duck I've ever eaten!

Unfortunately I have to edit my positive review because the last few times I was disappointed with the food. For example, we ordered the food in the photo to take away because the restaurant was about to break for lunch. The tofu and a few vegetables on top were tasty, but there wasn't enough sauce for everything. In other words, after the bit of tofu, there were some tasteless glass noodles. And for 16€, I can cook it myself. 😂 I also asked for a vegan sauce and got it, but the non-vegan one was also packaged. I have no use for it and can now throw it away.

Authentisch vietnamesisch! Wir waren gestern zum ersten Mal (und ganz sicher nicht zum letzten Mal) im QiLin lecker und und authentisch vietnamesisch essen. Man sitzt dort auch draußen sehr schön, die jungen Inhaber sind super sympathisch und sehr aufmerksam. Wir waren schon oft in Vietnam, kennen das lokale Essen dort und so war der Abend im QiLin schon fast wie Urlaub. Kompliment an die Küche und vor allem an die tollen Gastgeber. Einfach prima! We were thrilled! The restaurant is so nice and cozy, the music is very relaxing. The staff was incredibly friendly. We were 30 minutes late and were afraid that the kitchen had already closed. But on the phone we were very friendly and assured that it wouldn't be a problem. The food came very quickly and was extremely tasty. There is also a page for vegan and vegetarian food ☺️ We would love to come back!

We reserved a table there on Saturday evening and it was really great. The location is really beautifully decorated and designed. The service was very friendly and the food was really tasty. My personal highlight was the elderberry spritzer with glitter in it. Would definitely go again!

I chose the Asian restaurant because of the many extremely positive reviews. Accordingly, expectations were high. Unfortunately, these were not fulfilled. Waiting time very long, quite small portions (even for an average eater), expensive. The taste of the food was really nothing special. There are many Asians where it tastes better. The only thing I can highlight positively is the ambience. All in all, I personally wouldn't go here again.
