Püttkerklause in Bielefeld

Today I wanted to give my wife a break and took my one-year-old son in the car to go for a drive. While driving, I got a call from the hookah accessories store where I had placed an order and already paid. Since the goods were ready for pickup and tomorrow is Sunday, I drove there spontaneously. Since my son was sleeping in the car, I wanted to pick up the order quickly without taking him to the hookah shop. I briefly parked part of the car on the curb directly in front of the store to complete the process as quickly as possible - it would have taken a maximum of 10 seconds. Four people, three men and one woman, were standing outside the adjacent bar smoking. One of the men immediately made a snide comment: “Just drive in!” Instead of calmly clarifying the situation, an unnecessary, aggressive discussion began. Even though I explained that I would be leaving soon, I continued to be lectured in a rude tone. It was obvious that the man was just looking for a fight, especially since he still had support from the other guests behind him. The bar owner also got involved and took his guest's side without really understanding the situation. Some statements were made that made it clear that probably only German guests are welcome here. I have the feeling that the anger of the bar-goers was also due to the fact that the shisha shop is right next door and the clientele is obviously different. Although I certainly understand that I was in the wrong traffic-wise, that still doesn't justify the disrespectful tone and behavior of those present. Instead of remaining objective, the situation was exaggerated and dramatized. It wasn't just a matter of me standing on the curb for a moment - there were obviously prejudices and reservations in the room. My advice: Maybe drink less next time and don't pigeonhole people straight away. A little more understanding and less aggression would certainly be good for the atmosphere.

The Püttgerklause is the most family-friendly neighborhood pub I have ever met. We come from Berlin and visited our friends in Bielefeld and wanted to go out for a drink and ended up in the Püttgerklause. After just a few minutes we were talking to other guests and the landlady and the innkeeper in a very cordial way that you rarely experience. We were spontaneously allowed to play live music the next day. The atmosphere there is really great. The snacks taste like home cooking and as we found out, there are also theme evenings there. Do you know the song “The Little Pub at the End of the Street” by Peter Alexander? That's exactly how it is there.

The Püttkerklause is a very nice pub with very nice and friendly staff. The guests are always very pleasant and available for small talk or more in-depth conversations. The food and themed events are always very good, with a good atmosphere! The price is fair and the bartenders always look out for you, and they don't just care about sales but also about the well-being of their guests! I have been a guest for 2½ years and one of the younger guests (23). Everyone is welcome here and I can only recommend it. Cozy furnishings, music available, TV available, nice service and good food! :) Feel free to come to the Püttkerklause...

You are immediately welcomed here, you don't get strange looks as a newcomer like in many other small bars, and the prices are more than reasonable.

Unsympathischer Geschäftsführer die Einrichtung ist alt und urig.

Die püttis ist die beste Kneipe in Brackweder. Jedesmal wird man herzlich empfangen und erkannt. Ich gehe gerne hier hin, da ein super Klima herrscht und alle Besucher super nett sind. Die Bedingung (vorallem Monika) ist super und unglaublich lieb und umgänglich. Der Kaffeeschnapps lohnt sich zu 100%. 🌚😁❣️

Gutes Essen und nette Bedienung. Hier kann man Spaß haben beim Knobeln und D arten...immer wieder gerne

Sehr angenehme Wirtschaft, der wirt ist mit Herzblut dabei und man wird immer freundlich empfangen. Geheimtipp ist das Essen, sehr lecker und gut deutsche Küche.

Seit 1jahr alle 2Wochen Stammgäste in der Pütterklause. Monika und Andy sind perfekte Gastgeber. Sau leckeres bodenständiges Essen. Wir kommen gerne und fühlen uns perfekt aufgehoben.

Kittylicious , wie es in den Wald schallt , schallt es wieder raus. Alles super in dem Laden , der Wirt und das Personal geben sich viel Mühe .
