We were there for a family celebration. The food was delicious as always, and the location was a dream. Unfortunately, some of the drinks we ordered weren't brought or only arrived after repeated requests. All in all, though, a very successful evening. ❤️

We actually felt that the service and food had improved significantly. Yesterday's visit proved us wrong. The restaurant opened at 5 p.m., and we arrived shortly after. There was nothing to dry our hands with in the women's restroom, the sanitizer was empty, and the floor looked like it hadn't been properly mopped in a few days. The restaurant wasn't very clean either. There were food scraps on the table, the menu was stuck to the wall, and cobwebs were everywhere on the ceiling. The music was so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation. The service wasn't very attentive; we were stared at and people walked past us even though our glasses and plates were empty. The sauce on the truffle pasta was watery, the tomato sauce on the pizza had no flavor, and the brownie for dessert was much too cold (at least room temperature would have been good). When we pointed this out, we received only a shrug, and as we left, the waitress looked at us, turned around, and left without a word. It's a real shame, because the ambiance (when it's clean) is really nice.

The food is okay, but the service is terrible. Drinks were barely brought, and the waiters were nowhere to be seen. I even tried calling from my table, but that was unsuccessful; no one answered. I wouldn't recommend it anymore. The food was okay, but nothing special.

We had a reservation for 5 people on a Monday (for a birthday). At reception, we were handed 5 menus and told to "freely choose your seating." It was so crowded that we could hardly find a table for 5. It would have been nice if a suitable table had been reserved and we didn't have to search for one. The service was very nice and friendly, even though she had a lot of tables to serve. We had two pizzas, two pasta dishes, and a bowl. One pizza (with basil) only had one basil leaf on it. The pasta, alio e olio, was swimming in oil and was noticeably lacking in garlic and chili. The bowl was very dry, due to a lack of sauce. The rest was good. Unfortunately, it was far too loud and crowded for us; we couldn't call it a pleasant evening.

The place looks great. The pizza (with beef) was disappointing. For the price, I would have expected more than 60 grams of beef.

We are truly more than disappointed. Charging almost €14 for a salad that consists of 4-5 lettuce leaves, a teaspoon of goat cheese, half a walnut, and a wafer-thin slice of orange is outrageous.

More and more tables and terraces are being added, but no one has a clear overview, and this overload unfortunately leads to unfriendliness :( Additionally, they're now cutting back on the dishes – a real shame!

You definitely need a reservation as the place is packed. It’s very nice location in the forest good for any special occasion. Food was good and served in good time despite the crowd. It’s a bit loud mostly because of lots of people. Definitely worth the ride.

Our first visual impression of the restaurant was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, that was about all the positive things about our visit. The china and wine glasses were broken during both the appetizer and the pizza, and the cutlery was sticky. The chili and garlic oil had no flavor, but they did contain a dead fly. The pizza was also rather bland.

Our first and last visit. Great ambiance with very attentive and consistently friendly service. It's all the more sad, then, that the bruschetta is bland and flavorless, and the pizza with its biscuit-like base is, unfortunately, almost tasteless. We were shocked by the glasses with cracks and the plates with equally noticeable damage. The glasses were also not clean (a no-go!), and the cutlery was sticky. So, hygiene standards seem to be lacking here. Apparently, the beautiful location attracts guests – the food certainly doesn't.

We used to eat at Purino regularly and enjoyably, but unfortunately, the value for money is no longer right for us. The lemonade, which used to impress with its fresh berries and intense pomegranate flavor, now unfortunately tastes very watery. The Parmesan cheese is no longer freshly grated, but looks more like it came pre-packaged from a bag – that used to be much higher quality. The bowl we ordered was supposed to be without red cabbage, but unfortunately, this request was not honored. Positive: The food still tastes good – we'd like to emphasize that. Nevertheless, we were disappointed by the noticeable drop in quality. Additionally, we had to wait almost an hour for our food, which is too long even at full capacity – especially since we received no information or apology. It's a shame, we really liked the place.

A very nice restaurant nestled in the forest. It's very crowded and noisy. The tables outside are now very close together. Reservations are essential in good weather.

We often go to Purino and enjoy it, but today it was outstanding in every way. The food (pizza, bowls, salads) was incredibly delicious, and the service was so friendly and offered perfect recommendations. You feel comfortable and welcome, even, or especially, with small children.

We always loved Purino, but things have changed for the worse. I ordered a chicken breast fillet on salad with anchovies, capers, etc. What was served was unbelievable: 3 lettuce leaves, 1/2 cocktail tomato, 1 anchovy, and nothing else. It was a children's portion. Everyone at the table thought it was an appetizer. The price was between €17 and €18. The waiter commented: "They should have asked the chef if that was a normal portion; the menu was new." Oh, yeah, I'll go to the kitchen. Plus, the pizzas had hardly any cheese, real crackers. Cutlery only arrived after asking for it five minutes later. What a shame... higher prices, smaller portions, no go...

Good food, very friendly service and sitting outside when the weather is nice is almost like a vacation.

Simply our favorite restaurant. Great location and cozy atmosphere that invites you to linger. Superb service: friendly, helpful, and competent without being intrusive. Great cuisine with a fantastic, seasonally changing specials menu, whose highlights are always worth trying. We're always so impressed that we even celebrated our wedding there, and the Purino team treated us to a wonderful afternoon/evening. Thank you. "A visit to friends" is a motto that's lived here.

I drove 20 km to make a confirmed, written reservation for an outside table during the week, only to find out that the restaurant was apparently hosting a large event, the outdoor area was packed, and all the tables outside were occupied. When I asked at the front desk, I was told that although I had a reservation, no table would be available in the foreseeable future, other guests would be waiting ahead of me, and I could sit inside at the counter. But then it would take a while. So the restaurant took care of it for me.

Great location in the woods. Large outdoor area. A bit dark inside, but they offer small, bright LED lights. The food is super fresh and delicious. Kids get special prices.

Stuffed Pasta Parcels with Onions and Artichokes Pasta parcels undercooked, dry, and hard Pizza with Truffle, Smoked Prosciutto, and Fresh Basil There were 8 wafer-thin truffle slices on the entire pizza, truffle cream only wafer-thin around the edges, fresh basil was completely missing, and the prosciutto wasn't smoked. The staff was approached about the problem and brought back basil for only half the pizza, which was already cold. Another server was asked about the sparse truffles and the unsmoked prosciutto. Quote: 'Yes, the sparse topping is just how it is, and the ham was cut from a piece of ham that was delivered.' You couldn't say whether it was smoked. Sorry... Nothing else!!!!!!!! The full price of €50 for two people was charged, and the hotel offered no apology. Conclusion: Far too expensive and poor quality, coupled with unskilled assistants. Won't be back. Dear management, you lost two guests today who had already spent a few euros with you. You wouldn't have deserved one today.

Crowded. Loud. Loud. Crowded. Tried it three times. The noise level in a packed restaurant is almost unbearable for me. Conversation is only possible at a high level. There are clearly not enough staff for the number of guests. You wait half an hour to order your first drink. The food then arrives after an hour and a half, and the edges of your plate are covered in greasy fingerprints, the pasta lukewarm at best... Quantity over quality. I find the huge potholes (easy, quick, and inexpensive to fill with gravel or sand) in a parking lot without lighting outrageous. Surely this investment should be worthwhile given the crowds that come here...?

We've been coming here regularly for years and actually love it here. But this time was a disaster! What's going on?! Every order was incomplete or completely wrong. It wasn't clear which server was serving which area. The kids' dessert didn't come at all. The restrooms were dirty, with no soap or paper towels. It's a real shame! I hope things get better again and that today was just a chaotic day! We usually love coming here and the kids love it too!

We were there for the first time two weeks ago and were very disappointed. The china was broken, from cups to plates to bowls. A corner was missing from everywhere. The food was also very disappointing. The bruschetta appetizer had no flavor, no seasoning, just bland. The pizza was just as disappointing, and they didn't forget the broken plate. Unfortunately, we wouldn't go there again. It's a shame.

Unfortunately, the pizza was cold and barely topped – charging €18 for it isn't justified in our opinion. The beer we ordered was forgotten, so we had to wait about 10 minutes before we could toast. One particularly annoying incident: My mother ordered a Margherita but received a pizza with no toppings at all. Apparently, the name was misunderstood – but they could have asked, just to be on the safe side: "Are you sure you want a pizza with no toppings at all?" Overall, the staff seemed overwhelmed. Unfortunately, this wasn't a convincing visit for us – we won't be coming back.

This was our first time eating at Purino. The ambiance was very appealing and cozy, and the service was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food didn't impress us. The pasta "Arrabbiata" had little in common with a classic Arrabbiata in terms of flavor, and the shrimp in the "Ai Gamberetti" weren't fully cooked. Furthermore, the pasta had an unpleasant aftertaste. Even though the setting was perfect, the dining experience was unfortunately disappointing. Therefore, we probably won't visit the restaurant again. It's a shame, because it certainly has potential.

Like every year, we wanted to eat here with friends when the weather is nice. First, we ordered drinks. The food order should have been made beforehand, because afterward, the children had to wait so impatiently for the food to arrive. There were always a few small hiccups with the order until it finally became too much. It was supposed to be a pizza with mozzarella and no ham. But it was a pizza with mozzarella and ham. Then there was a pasta with Gorgonzola sauce, a regular portion, not a Bambini portion. But the pasta arrived and it was very small, like a Bambini portion. And the large pizzas weren't cut. Then we had to wait again, so there was more back and forth from the service. Of course, it's not nice when you're sitting at a table and your order is taken individually. Then, after a long wait for the food, you expect it to arrive exactly as ordered. We actually like coming here; we love the forest; it creates a lovely atmosphere, and the service staff are all very nice, polite, and helpful. But somehow, yesterday, everything in a chain went haywire. We want more control over whether or not something has been done to the customer's specifications. I know the Purinho team can do it.

I spontaneously went to this restaurant yesterday based on the positive reviews. We didn't have a reservation, but we got a nice seat in the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our order came quickly; we opted for a salmon pizza, with a request for extra spinach. The food came very quickly...and what can I say...it was by far the WORST pizza I've ever eaten. It was huge, the crust so thin you couldn't call it a crust. It was so sparsely topped that you needed a magnifying glass to find the cheese and ketchup. The salmon was carelessly prepared, a large lump scattered in the middle. It was moderately warm and lacked any of the seasonings you'd normally find on a pizza. The spinach had been completely forgotten, and when it was brought to our table, it made the already cold pizza seem even colder. Spices, vinegar, and oil were brought to our table upon request. The containers were dirty. One pizza had a missing pouring spout and the pepper was empty. An attentive server would have noticed. Upon request, they put the pizza back in the oven, but the heat didn't make it any better. My impression: Not customer-oriented Everything was done quickly and carelessly Completely overpriced for what was offered Not recommended!

A truly special experience – both culinary and ceramic! The start was already a highlight: My coffee arrived in a chipped cup, true to style – with a built-in surprise element, so to speak. A small cut on my lip? No problem! For adrenaline junkies like me, that's part of the service. Then the appetizer: bread in a paper bag, like at a drive-thru – innovative! And a broken plate – apparently part of the "rustic charm." Taste-wise? Well, if "average" is a compliment, then it was great. The "garlic dip" tasted suspiciously like supermarket sour cream. Garlic? Maybe they forgot, but hey – you shouldn't ask for too much. Pizza time! Of course, another broken plate – I was almost worried I'd get a whole one this time. Garlic and chili oil? There was. Taste? Unfortunately not. Garlic pieces? None. But visually, it was oil. Now here's the thing: pizza with fried shrimp – at least according to the menu. In reality? Raw and translucent. Complained. Response: "Yeah, they don't look fried." Solution: Wrap it up to go. Wow. Customer service par excellence! To finish, there was tiramisu – delicious! And of course, as expected, served on a broken plate. Final coffee? Of course – with another damaged cup. You have to be consistent! *Conclusion:* If you like broken dishes, lukewarm friendliness, and culinary mediocrity – absolutely recommended! For everyone else: Save your time, money, and your lip. My first and last visit to Purino.

Idyllic place to enjoy pasta and pizza dishes. What was strange was that the waiter recommended not having a starter, otherwise we would have to face a long delay before the main course was served! The dishes served were delicious and good!

We like being here. The staff is polite, friendly and attentive. The food is always delicious. So far we have always remained satisfied. We are always lucky with table reservations and we get the best seat 1 hour (at the latest) before arrival. Happy to recommend!

We went there when it was still called (Dolce) Vita... the atmosphere was great, very cozy and charming. The menu was manageable and the food was always great. After a long time we were there again and totally disappointed. Nothing remains of the rustic charm. The ambience is totally uncomfortable like a student apartment. There are lots of “great” “unusual” dishes on the menu, but to be honest the food is no longer even middle class. A failure both in terms of taste and quality. We were definitely there for the last time

Always nice to visit the PURiNO in the Hardt Forest. The restaurant is nice and big. The large terrace and garden invite you to sit outside from spring to autumn. The restaurant has different levels inside. Groups, families or friends will find a suitable place everywhere. The menu is great and offers something for everyone. The pizzas impress with their fine, thin base. The children are also thought of. But what particularly stands out is the extremely fast, friendly and competent staff. It is a place to feel good for big and small, old and young!

Location & Atmosphere: The Purino is beautifully situated in the countryside and offers a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The outdoor area in particular is a highlight – ideal for sunny days. You can also sit very stylishly and comfortably inside. Eat: The food is consistently excellent! Almost every dish is recommended – fresh, tasteful and lovingly prepared. Particularly positive: the consistently high quality of the food. Service: The service is friendly, but sometimes seems a bit chaotic and uncoordinated. But this seems to be mainly due to the size of the restaurant and only slightly reduces the overall impression. Conclusion: A great place for connoisseurs – we’ll definitely be back!

Mamma mia! We love this place! Our undisputed number 1 Italian restaurant in Gladbach. In addition to Italian specialties, they also offer what I'll call "fusion cuisine" like bowls, etc., which you can enjoy in a cozy atmosphere in the middle of the Hardter Forest. There's plenty of choice for allergy sufferers, vegetarians, and vegans. On top of that, they're very child- and pet-friendly. The other location at Rheydt Castle is also highly recommended! It's worth making a reservation in advance, as it's very popular.

The food is good (as usual), the atmosphere is cozy but unfortunately too loud. It seems as if one table is trying to outdo the next in terms of volume... normal conversation is exhausting.

Sticky worn and dirty menu. Plates and other dining ceramics with cracks and chips (see photo). You can also see in the photo that the decoration has already started. The buratta we ordered had the consistency of grainy cream cheese. At the end the grappa came in 6 different glasses, it had more of a youth hostel quality..😏😏😏 Conclusion: No matter how cheap it is, hygiene and cleanliness should be a given!!

A nice location. We have been there twice for dinner so far. There is a good selection of different dishes. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are also available. We always made reservations in advance and so far it has always been full here, and rightly so.

Top gastronomy 2023?! We didn't notice anything about it. The service was a disgrace, even though there was hardly anything going on. All the tables around us were dirty and hadn't been cleared, the menus were all dirty and broken. We sat there for 45 minutes without service and without asking if we wanted any more drinks. After we alerted the staff to expired goods, we were only met with strange comments. Due to the unsuccessful complaint and the failure to respond to the dissatisfaction, we no longer felt comfortable. Among other things, we were no longer served after the notice. After another 20 minutes of waiting to pay, we got up to pay at the entrance, but there was no one there. We could have just left without paying. Ultimately good food, bad service. No recommendation! Well, what can you say as a kitchen person apart from youthfully euphoric 5 star reviews. Purino-like, the ambience is simple but quite nice and the system catering kitchen is very manageable and simple. The chain is also a simple system catering service. Culinary demands are better left at home. Pizza simple considering the low price. Salads are all convenience products and too simple for the price. This basically applies to the entire range of food on offer. They're all bigger snacks that you eat when you're having a drink with friends. And that's exactly what the Purino is good for. Unfortunately, the dining room at Purino in Mönchengladbach Hardt is extremely loud. Therefore, everyone is forced to have loud conversations, which makes it even louder overall. The toilets are ok and mostly reasonably clean. Things often look different at peak times. The parking lot is a moderate disaster. When it rains, a muddy pothole surface with lots of puddles. Not paved, not asphalted, has something of an mm rest area in Lapland. The outdoor dining is relatively nice in summer. Conclusion: You can do it. Especially if you want to have a drink with friends. If you want to go out for something to eat or have only limited culinary standards, you're much better off elsewhere.

Very nice restaurant with a unique flair. The location is specifically in the middle of the forest, but offers potential for a walk. The idea with the glass igloo is great and very individual. The interior was also very nice. The fireplace was on that day and despite the hut being full, the service was quick and friendly and the food was excellent. I'll be back.

Somit endete mein Abend im Krankenhaus wir sprachen die Kellnerin an und bekamen nur die Antwort hätten sie ja wissen müssen sind es ja selber schuld und mir wurde alles in Rechnung gestellt und mein Abend endete im Krankenhaus mit einen allergischen Schock

Were here today at the Igloo, the food ambience was really good, but! 45€ full for the bin, despite asking several times whether we liked the food, we decided that the starter with the foccia bread was very bad, we were hoping for the main course, we ordered the rump steak and also the duck, both very dry and inedible , dry and tough, I had to use so much force even to cut it, really bad!!! Dessert was ok, you can give it yourself but you don't have to! Visually it looks great, but that's about it! More appearance than reality! Outrageous!

Four of us had dinner at Purino today. We opted for the 3-course menu in one of the igloos outside. The atmosphere was very nice and cozy. Unfortunately the food was an absolute failure. The main course in particular was an absolute disgrace. The steak was dry, tough and hard to cut. The duck we chose was also too hard and dry. The idea itself was very nice, unfortunately we didn't like the food at all. We won't come back a second time. Too bad!

Waren heute hier im Iglu Essen Ambiente war echt gut, aber! 45€ voll für die Tonne, trotz mehrerem Nachfragen ob uns das Essen schmeckt haben wir uns dazu geäußert, Vorspeise mit dem Foccia Brot war sehr schlecht, hatten Hoffnung auf die Hauptspeise, bestellt hatten wir das Rumpsteak und auch die Ente, beides sau trocken ungenießbar, trocken und Zäh selbst zum anschneiden habe ich soviel Kraft anwenden müssen, wirklich schlecht!!! Nachspeise war okey, kann man sich geben muss aber nicht! Optisch sieht das super aus, das war es aber auch schon! Mehr schein als sein! Unverschämt!
