The service was slow. The pizza was sparsely topped and dry. The pasta was tasty, but the price-performance ratio was poor – a small portion for a high price. The same applied to the salad. The restaurant felt like a hall and was too loud. There was very little parking; you had to park along the street.

Very crispy and tasty pizza, along with excellent homemade pasta. The staff was friendly and very attentive, offering recommendations. The food arrived promptly and was attractively presented. Absolutely excellent value for money. I'd be happy to return.

Perfectly chosen location. The transport links are very good and attract business people and employees from the surrounding area during the week. On weekends, there's often a mixed crowd; conveniently, a bike path runs right by. A lovely selection of homemade pasta that can be combined in various ways, unusual spritzers, and a delicious dessert. There's something for everyone. I can especially recommend the "primavera" superfood bowl, an unusual, very tasty combination that I've eaten there several times. My favorite dish these days is rigatoni with Gorgonzola, walnut, and spinach sauce. It could use a spoonful or two more, but it's filling. There are free, designated parking spaces, right as you enter the street, on the right in an office parking lot. We enjoy coming here every now and then. The service has improved significantly. The only comment I have concerns the admittedly stylish black heating pipes that are attached to all the windows. Unfortunately, these are always completely dusty and seem to be ignored at all, even though the eye also eats.

Since I'm basically ostracized as a driving instructor (a very agitated man resembling Doc Emmet Brown storms into the parking lot with a cell phone in his hand, foaming at the mouth, while you're parking, and you're simply chased away), I advise against visiting this establishment! Anyone who doesn't even have the patience to distinguish potential customers from unsolicited parking users (which is a farce in itself) doesn't deserve my money in two senses of the word!

Highly recommended. The pizza was good, but there's still room for improvement in terms of toppings, although it's still quite tasty. In our opinion, the Lillet cocktail lacked the Lillet (alcohol content).

I've been to Purino several times now, and no matter what I eat, it tastes soooo good. I'm never disappointed with the food here. The only downside is that there are always one or two waitresses here who unfortunately have no place in the restaurant industry. You should never let your customers sense your displeasure. However, the majority are super friendly and enjoy their work. But I would still come back even if 95% of the waiters were in a bad mood, because the food is just so delicious and you can immediately walk around the area afterward. (PHOENIX-WEST)

Unfortunately, the restaurant is declining. The food was initially very tasty, but now the pasta is overcooked, and unfortunately, there are no discounts or even free drinks, even though we've been there at least twice a month.

Very nice, modern, and urban shop design. The homemade lemonade was amazing. I was very impressed that the ravioli and tiramisu were homemade. In the past, I've eaten instant pasta at other Italian restaurants in the city that were more expensive, so this was a big plus. Excellent value for money. The restrooms were clean and easy to find. However, the motion sensors only go off once you're in the cubicle. The entrance to the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick. Since the restaurant was very busy, it was quite noisy. You could still have a conversation. The menu is very varied and covers the classics. The pizza was wafer-thin (typically Italian) and the toppings were nice and moist. The portions were adequate. I would go here again with friends. For me, this is the best Italian restaurant in Dortmund so far.

We ate at Purino last night and really enjoyed it. The food was a 10/10, very tasty, just like in Italy, and the service was truly attentive and professional. I highly recommend the restaurant, and we'll be back.

Super delicious food, well-suited for vegetarians. :) They also offer a soy alternative as a meat substitute. The pizzas are large and delicious, and the tomato soup is a fantastic starter. Edit 08/23/2025: They've recently added a delicious vegan cheese substitute!

This place urgently needs an experienced manager. Although it wasn't busy nobody came to take my order. The staff seems to run unstructured next to each other. I had a salad and pasta w/salmon. The salad was spoiled with a cheap premixed 'dressing' and very basic. I have my doubts weather the salmon is trout or salmon. Anyhow the cuison was horrible, just like chewing gum. Nice and cosy interior.

Beautiful restaurant with a good selection of delicious dishes. There should be something for everyone here. Service was friendly and prompt. A great way to recharge your batteries.

Modern, pleasant ambiance and very good staff. Unfortunately, our food was very bland, with little to no seasoning. This was a bit disappointing, as we otherwise felt very comfortable at Purino.

I wouldn't recommend it. First, there was a fire alarm. All the guests had to leave and wait 20 minutes in the heat. According to a waitress, this seems to happen regularly. Aha. Very interesting. 🧐 When something like this happens, I might have to buy the guests a free drink or something similar. Then I had to wait a really long time for the not-so-great food, even though the place wasn't full. 👎 Once and never again.

The food is average, pasta dishes significantly better than pizza. Outdoor seating is good, but it's far too loud inside. Having to wait an hour for your bill and then go to the cashier yourself can't be excused by the fact that card payments aren't accepted. For us: Never again

The young blonde lady was very nice and did her job very well. She constantly asked if everything was okay, but the pasta tasted artificial, as if it had been cooked and bought from a wholesaler. Pizza and mezze are OK - 😂😂

The atmosphere is very cozy and well-designed, though a bit dark. The food is okay, not outstanding. Kids get free drinks, which is a great bonus for families.

The food is delicious and attractively presented. However, the wait time can be enormous when the place is busy. Unfortunately, we waited an hour for our main course. However, the very friendly and attentive service created a good overall atmosphere! I like the decor, but it's quite loud. If you're looking for romance, this isn't the place for you ;-)! Overall, though, I would give it 4.5 stars if possible!

Food...average. Nothing special. Service...meh. If I'm bringing something to the table, I don't let other customers pass it around until it reaches the recipient. The waiter brings the food or drink, not from guest to guest. Atmosphere...just a warehouse. So nothing special either. Been there once. Won't be again.

Unfortunately, the waitress's service was completely unsatisfactory. The food arrived before the drinks, and my drink never arrived. The waitress didn't even check to see if everything was there or OK.

I'd especially like to emphasize that they offer wholesome meals for children at very family-friendly prices. Unfortunately, that's far too rare! Otherwise, the dishes are delicious, and the portion size sometimes leaves room for an appetizer—to put it politely. But the value for money is okay for me.

Unfriendly restaurant manager at the front desk. You felt unwelcome, even though the restaurant was empty. Food was mediocre quality and took a long time to arrive. Dirty cutlery, broken chairs, and the atmosphere was cafeteria-like and extremely loud.

Visited by three people on July 22, 2025, following Phoenix des Lumières. Ordered: Pizza Bellino, Salmon Pasti, and all the vegetables, along with mango and passion fruit spritzers and Bergmann's non-alcoholic beer. Excellent quality of the food and drinks. Very friendly and attentive staff. Pleasant atmosphere, everything very clean. Attractive outdoor area. Most of the rooms are wheelchair accessible, although the restrooms are unfortunately located in the basement, although there are separate wheelchair restrooms on the premises.

We've been going to Purino every now and then since it opened. It offers modern Italian cuisine with fresh ingredients. A lot of creativity is evident in both the drinks and the food. Traditional dishes are also available. Recommended for the whole family.

Unfortunately, it was very disappointing: the garlic bread lacked garlic—at least you couldn't taste it. The garlic and chili oil were rancid. The olive oil had no flavor. The food lacked flavor. The rancid oil made it impossible to replenish.

Unfortunately, the food tastes like warmed-up ready meals, and the accompanying prices and limited selection don't help matters. Drinks are also very expensive. The ambiance, however, is wonderful, and the service was really good. The vegan and vegetarian options for pasta and meat substitutes are also very good.

We were able to make a spontaneous reservation on Sunday evening and wanted to try the restaurant out. The wait at the entrance was acceptable; you're shown to your table and given the menu right away. Ordering drinks and then the food was problem-free. We then had to wait a good 45 minutes for the food, only to receive half-raw potatoes, fish with too much liquid and extremely sour (white wine and butter sauce) on the plate, undercooked pasta, burnt chicken, and an extremely thin pizza with a rather meager topping. Tables that had ordered later were served earlier. The pasta was deducted from the bill, so we don't want to complain further. After the meal, we had to wait a very long time for the table to be cleared and sat there with empty glasses for at least 30 minutes. While the table was being cleared, we ordered an espresso, which took almost 20 minutes with a maximum of 10 tables occupied; we didn't have to pay for that either. All in all, we are just very disappointed with the entire visit.

We generally really like the Purino food; it was delicious, and our server was enthusiastic and friendly. Nevertheless, I can only give it 3 stars overall for the following reasons: There was a hair in my wife's meal, so she couldn't continue eating. My Taglierini Al Gamberetti was delicious, but the chef didn't seem to know the menu very well, because I definitely didn't have a proper white wine sauce, but more of a tomato sauce. Even though our waitress was good, one waitress (who was still in training) wasn't enough to serve all the guests in the right time. Instead of talking to the waiter all the time, the two managers present should have just "lent a hand" themselves. Furthermore, the parking situation here isn't ideal during the week. I had to park right on the street in the dead-end street, behind several other cars, and since turning around wasn't possible, I had to reverse out. And last but not least, the guest Wi-Fi connection wasn't working.

A lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere, worth meeting up and eating. The service is also good. Unfortunately, the chicken strips in the pasta dish weren't the best, so I left some of them behind. My pasta with salmon was delicious. Good location with plenty of parking nearby, great service, and a kids' and dessert menu.

The kitchen was unable to serve fresh Italian pasta al dente...it was only half-cooked the first time, and the second attempt had the same problem. No salt or pepper, but thankfully, it was on the table. Except for one waitress, the staff looked and seemed very unmotivated...🤔 It really makes you wonder whether you should even go out to eat at today's prices!!!!???

Unfortunately, my visit to Purino Dortmund was disappointing overall. From the service to the quality of the food, the restaurant was completely unimpressive. The waitress seemed friendly, but that was it. The pizza was particularly disappointing: bland in taste, the dough tough, and overall far below what you would expect from an Italian restaurant. I've never been served such a bad pizza before. The only positive thing: The atmosphere and surroundings are truly beautiful and inviting, but unfortunately, the poor overall experience undermines this potential. Conclusion: For good food and attentive service, I wouldn't recommend Purino Dortmund.

I don't want to write a super-long review. The service was okay, despite what appeared to be a large family celebration with a large number of guests. As for the food... don't bother! There were three of us, with different dishes and appetizers. Of the six dips offered, three were tasty, and the tomato, mozzarella, and arugula salad was okay. Our three main courses were all somewhere between "meh" and "absolutely disgusting." Thankfully, they didn't charge for the latter. I wouldn't call this establishment a restaurant any more than I would call McDonald's a restaurant.

The fettuccine with beef strips could have been delicious if they weren't a) lukewarm and, much worse, b) leathery. I like al dente, but they were practically raw. Since I was there during my lunch break, I dutifully ate everything and will simply go somewhere else next time.

The food was okay, but if you have children with you and have to wait an hour and a half for your food, I'm not recommending it. Unfortunately, the service was overwhelmed by the full restaurant.

The food was delicious, the service was young, friendly and quick. Despite FULLHOUSE on a Sunday evening. Every table inside and outside (except ours) was occupied when we arrived, but we were still served very nicely and quickly. The pictures from the other reviewers speak for themselves... A cozy, chic shop, Purino. So far everything I've eaten here has been fresh, crunchy and really tasty. Whether salad, bowl, bread or pizza. I like going to Purino.

We were there with a large group. The food was delicious, and despite our large order, special requests were accepted and made correctly. Kudos to the kitchen. Beer was forgotten twice, which can happen with such a large order. In the end, I got a small portion of tiramisu. According to the staff, tiramisu was everything and that was the rest. I expected that I might get something else on the side. Everyone else got really large portions. Instead of so much cream (to fill the plates), they could have added a scoop of ice cream. The food is delicious, but unfortunately, the service is steadily declining. Being told on the phone at 9:12 p.m. on a Friday evening that the kitchen is already closed doesn't match the information on the website and is actually somewhat questionable. Even when you get there, you're pressured to order and pay quickly. This is hardly a relaxing dinner experience. You feel unwelcome.

Disappointment! Great atmosphere, but nonexistent service! Completely overwhelmed and at times unfriendly. No coordination of the food, yelling, forgotten orders... and I couldn't stand it either. I won't be back and can't recommend it.

Rating 2025: We've eaten with you several times and we really like the improved recipes for some dishes. The pasta almost always arrives at the table perfectly cooked (al dente). The service is always above average. We come often and enjoy it. Thanks Old rating 2023: Six of us had dinner there in April, we each had a starter, main course and dessert. All dishes were delicious, although we found the pasta to be cooked a little too long (not all dente). The service was always friendly and attentive. We had a great evening in a good atmosphere. We find the price-performance ratio to be good.

The food is super delicious. Something for everyone. The store has a cool style. My dessert was forgotten, the employee was honest that she forgot it and apologized for it.

Definitely recommended, delicious and authentic Italian food. Pasta already cooked al dente, not as soft as usual. The bruschetta was already crispy and had great toppings.

Wir waren mit 2 Paaren dort. Die Location ist nett, aber "Kettentypisch", dennoch cool gemacht. Das andere Pärchen saß schon am Tisch mit Getränken, man zeigte und wo wir hin müssen, dennoch fragte niemand von alleine was wir trinken wollen. Die ausgewählte Vorspeise war aus, bei der zweiten Runde Bier war auch die Sorte Bier aus. Die Vorspeisen kamen sehr sehr schnell und waren ausgesprochen lecker und großzügig. Das warme Essen dauerte etwas länger als eine Stunde. Die Kellnerin die abräumte war sehr genervt als man währenddessen nach der Nachspeisenkarte sowie nach einem weiteren Glas Wein für die Frauen fragte, sie fragte schnippisch "Sonst noch was?!" Nach dem abräumen und dem bestellen von Nachtisch kam leider niemand mehr zum Tisch für weitere Getränke. Der Nachtisch dauerte wieder 1 Stunde (wir hatten vergessen dass wir ihn überhaupt bestellt haben als er dann kam). Dadurch dass wir nichts zu trinken mehr bestellen konnten weil niemand kam, beschließen wir zu zahlen, dafür mussten wir dann letztendlich zur Theke gehen. Wir äußerten freundlich, dass wir gerne mehr getrunken hätte aber niemand kam und der verspätete Nachtisch nicht so toll war. Dafür war der Nachtisch dann geschenkt. Das warme Essen war echt lecker aber leider war die Portion nichts für hungrige Männer.

You can immediately tell that a lot of emphasis is placed on quality here. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive and ensures that you feel completely comfortable. The ambience is also convincing across the board – stylish, cozy and, above all, simply beautiful outside! Perfect for relaxing afternoons with friends or a special occasion. I always enjoy coming here – absolute recommendation!

It can't be that I place the order at 6:50 p.m. and my food arrives at 7:35 p.m. and the pasta isn't cooked through. The staff themselves were very, very friendly. But the chef should be replaced. I mean, anyone can do pasta.

Were there for the first time today. It was very tasty. The service was also very nice. The only thing that bothered me was that it was very warm. When you come in and go to the right half of the room, the air circulation is very poor. On the other hand, in the left half of the room it was better. Would recommend everyone to sit on the left 😊 Otherwise nice ambience. Will definitely come back.

Somehow I didn't read it correctly: I ended up having a pizza with low-fat quark sauce, avocado, chicken, and sesame seeds. I don't really understand the dish. It just wasn't tasty. My wife had a bowl, which wasn't particularly good either. And the carbonara for the kid was probably the best dish, although it was great. Quite simply: we won't be back!

Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't hot enough and had a rather bland flavor. I expected more. The service was great and the atmosphere very pleasant. Since it's a bit too remote to walk to, it's not worth it for my taste. Maybe I'll give it another try.

You can reserve seats online. You are turned away on site because all tables are supposedly reserved. Very strange 🤔
