I stumbled upon this place during a summer bike ride, pinned it, and tried it out for dinner last Sunday. Verdict: Wow! The price-performance ratio is excellent! Service/Friendliness of the staff: Superb Quality/Portion size/Presentation of the food: Very good The welcome was very friendly, and we immediately felt at ease. Modern Bavarian pub fare with a special touch. They emphasize regional ingredients in both the food and drinks. In the large dining room, there was lively chatter and laughter, which created a certain amount of background noise, but it didn't bother us at all. Just as you'd expect in a Bavarian pub ;) We'll definitely be back and are so glad we discovered this place :)

The service is always friendly, warm, and professional. The very attentive owner, who visibly cares for his guests and creates a pleasant atmosphere, is particularly noteworthy. The typical Bavarian ambiance perfectly complements the experience. In the summer, the beer garden is a real highlight and invites you to linger. We come here regularly with our family and have been delighted every time. For us, this restaurant is one of the best Bavarian restaurants in the area.

We visited this inn on a whim and were very lucky to get the last table on Sunday. We were greeted by an attentive server who looked after us for the rest of our four-hour stay. The food was absolutely fantastic; the roast pork with dumplings was among the best I've ever had. Fans of German cuisine will definitely be in their element here. Besides the food, I was particularly impressed by the atmosphere. Compared to other inns, which often tend to be rather dark and a bit smoky, Haberer impresses with a pleasant, modern ambiance without straying too far from the rustic charm typical of traditional inns.

Yesterday was my first time at the Haberer Christmas party in Purfing… and I have to say, hats off to them!!! The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and, despite the restaurant being packed, they still take the time to accommodate special requests. The menu, from appetizer to dessert, was fantastic, and the whole experience was in a wonderful atmosphere… -> Highly recommended!

Update 11/2025 I had the pancake soup again, so delicious! The food was great, and the staff were warm and attentive. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. First Visit I just wanted to have pancake soup on Sunday evening and was looking for a local inn. We felt comfortable here from the very first moment. From the friendly welcome and pleasant service to the ambiance and appealing menu. Bavarian classics alongside some modern dishes, which is also reflected in the decor: rustic yet modern. The food was fantastic. In addition to the pancake soup (fantastic), we also had pork tenderloin (perfect meat, spaetzle with gravy just as you'd imagine it) and finally apple fritters (great!). If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back.

Six of us (4 adults & 2 children) dined at Purfinger Haberer. We had a reservation and were seated by a very friendly lady. The ambiance is very nice and appealing. For starters, I had a liver dumpling spatzi soup, which was served very promptly after ordering. The beef broth was very rich and flavorful, just like the liver dumpling spatzi. For the main course, we had roast pork with dark beer sauce, dumplings, and coleslaw. The roast was tender as butter and flavorful, with a crispy rind. The dumplings with buttered breadcrumbs and the superb dark beer sauce were equally delicious, and the coleslaw was also excellent 👍🏻 Absolutely excellent value 👍🏻 The staff was very attentive and friendly!! I will definitely be back!!! 😃

We haven't had such a good meal in a long time as we did here at Purfinger Haberer! We had Munich schnitzel and ox tenders, followed by the apple kia-chal. Everything was truly fantastic! Max and his team are super friendly, and reordering is no problem at all. Plus, the prices are more than fair for the quality! We'll be back soon! 😃

We were here with a large group. The food is very good, and the prices are absolutely reasonable. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, modernized because it used to be a typical village pub. One minor drawback: after the starter, which not everyone ordered, we waited quite a while for the food.

Absolutely recommendable! Every time we're here, everything is top-notch, from the service to the food selection to the prices. This time we had a salad with goat cheese, a cordon bleu with roasted potatoes, and a plate of desserts. The stuff was just as delicious as it looks in the photos. We always agree that we need to come back more often. And we will!

My absolute favorite place here in the Ebersberg area. Max is a fantastic host; you always feel incredibly welcome. I don't have much to say about the food; it's a 10/10 every time. The price/performance ratio is also sensational. The only downside is that it's difficult without a reservation. 🤣

A truly rustic restaurant, with friendly and extremely attentive staff and excellent Bavarian cuisine. Highly recommended!

Among other things, we ordered a dish with tagliatelle in chanterelle sauce. This was completely tasteless, as the pasta was neither cooked in salted water nor was the sauce seasoned. Upon our feedback, we were told that it wasn't possible to cook the pasta in salted water, and that the sauce could be seasoned to taste, and that it was a matter of taste. Ten minutes later, grilled vegetables were brought as an alternative to the tasteless pasta. It's certainly nice to eat meat and side dishes sequentially. In fact, you shouldn't cook pasta if you can't. Charging the full price is also borderline. Any commercial pasta cooker allows you to cook in salted water (contrary to the owner's statement). Furthermore, it doesn't explain why the sauce is served unseasoned. In fact, I go to a restaurant to enjoy the food as it should be. Many, many other restaurants manage this, and if they make a mistake, they handle it much better.

We happened to be a guest at the restaurant and were delighted by the quality of the food. Special praise goes to the service. I've rarely experienced such attentiveness and friendliness. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic, very good and freshly prepared food with a twist, a nice selection of sophisticated dishes for vegetarians too (and not just the Alibikässpatzn like so often). A young, attentive, and always friendly service team is a real pleasure. The prices are a bit on the high side, but absolutely reasonable for what's on offer. I'd go back anytime; reservations seem advisable. Thanks to the super-friendly team for the lovely evening.

My food was good, the others said their meat was hard to chew… Down to earth atmosphere - unusual for me to visit and completely different to the places I always go to… I think this is why I somehow liked it 😄 - refreshingly local (however quite far if you are coming from Munich just for dinner - definitely need a car)

Super nice welcome, but unfortunately it was forgotten! All guests arriving later were served beforehand. No excuse! 3/4 hours until dinner. It's a shame because it was my husband's birthday and we had also booked this event.

We came with a wedding party and were given a very warm welcome! From the champagne/juice at reception to the starter, we were treated excellently and always felt comfortable. The food and service were always praiseworthy. We can only recommend and will definitely come back! Thank you!

We've been guests at the "Purfinger Haberer" several times now and now I'm finally getting around to writing a report. My girlfriend and I have been going to Purfinger for over two years now. Mine too. I celebrated my 40th birthday there last summer (2024) -> it was an experience and more than a successful day! The meal was an absolute delight. Even today (9 months later) the food receives praise from my celebration. Craziness. But in order not to fill any pages: Service: Excellent… and I mean it. Every wish is catered for! Super friendly and hardworking. Food: A 15 out of 10! Be it fish, salads, salad with goat cheese, burgers, all meat dishes... awesome! Price/performance: Absolutely fair prices!!! Excellent quality, great portions,… what more could you want?! 😁 Location: 10 out of 10! I find it very cozy and authentic! The beer garden is also a pleasure (ancient chestnuts 😍) We were guests again today and are already looking forward to our next visit 🤩 By the way, we are planning at least one more celebration in Purfinger this year. We celebrated our grandpa's 88th birthday at Purfinger Haberer - and it was a complete success! Despite short-term changes in the number of guests, we were warmly welcomed, which immediately gave us a good feeling. Our table was generously sized so that we could feel comfortable. The ambience in the restaurant is a perfect mix of traditional charm - thanks to a beautiful old tiled stove - and modern elements that fit in harmoniously. The service was first class: the drinks came quickly, and the interaction with the children was particularly impressive. Not only did you receive friendly service, but you were also properly integrated. The children's meal was served alongside the appetizer - a thoughtful gesture that parents really appreciated! The portion was big enough to really fill the boys up and they were thrilled: “Soooooooo delicious!” The food overall was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Fresh ingredients, loving preparation and a convincing taste - here we cook with heart and skill. The perfect conclusion was the apple fritters, which not only tasted heavenly but also rounded off the lovely evening perfectly. A special highlight is the personal touch at Purfinger Haberer: the boss of the house personally welcomes and says goodbye to his guests, which gives the whole experience an incredible sense of appreciation. And to top it all off, the children were given a lollipop after dessert. It's exactly these little details that made the evening unforgettable. Thank you for this wonderful evening – we will definitely be back!

Nice, well-run inn with typically charming Bavarian furnishings. The Cordon Blue was ok... I expected more. But the roast pork :) was so tender and tasty that you don't often find it. Of course, HB beer is always possible. Very friendly service and short waiting times round off the really good overall impression. Unfortunately difficult to reach without a car.

We were at Purfinger Haberer for the first time on February 16, 2025. The food was very good and the service and ambience were also excellent. Upscale Bavarian cuisine and the prices correspond to the quality. The only thing that is sometimes uncomfortable is hanging the lamps. The tables were probably positioned differently and now, depending on where you sit, the lighting is directly in your face and you are blinded. I had to adapt. It's a shame, that would be so easy to change.

Heute waren wir sehr unzufrieden mit dem Essen, war schon besser. Die Suppen waren lauwarm, die Maronensuppe verwässert und die Schnitzel mit Panade auf der Platte gebraten, leider nicht in Butter in der Pfanne. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen, schade, denn die Mitarbeitenden waren sehr freundlich.

If you want to experience traditional Bavarian cuisine interpreted in a modern way, this is the right place. The menu isn't too big, which helps with the quality of the food. According to the innkeeper, the products usually come from the region. The menu also adapts to the season. When it comes to the service staff, you can feel that you are dealing with trained staff. In terms of price, the Purfinger Haberer is still in the lower third for the good quality of the food. All in all, a real wolf in sheep's clothing.

I really enjoy going here, the food is always a treat and, above all, the waitresses are super friendly and attentive. The high price is completely justified by the quality.
