Food was delivered on time but one dish was delivered incorrectly and another was forgotten. Except for one dish that was quite ok (something with spinach), all the others were not edible (be careful, especially with chicken, horrible!), even the rice was bad (how does that work?!). The second star goes to the fact that a replacement was at least paid out for the forgotten dish without any problems.

The food is always lovingly prepared fresh, the ambience is a bit dated, but we feel comfortable every time.

Tastes very good, great service. Waiting time for food is reasonable. If you like and tolerate it spicy, please specify when ordering. So that it is prepared accordingly spicy. Service is excellent, very personable.

Way too expensive. Waited 50 minutes instead of 15 minutes. Despite pickup. Food is “okay”. There are 3 children and “about” 5 adults in the kitchen, one of whom is cooking. The rest plays on the floor.

First, I am living in Worms, in the city of this restaurant. I go there since this nice man and his family (I think his wife is cooking) opened the restaurant. And I love the food there. I know indian food from India. Okay, it's not that spicy, but you can order it if you like it that style. The only thing is the price - in my opinion a little bit too expensive, but everything is getting more and more expensive nowadays in Germany.

Bestellen jetzt seit einem Jahr regelmäßig und ich bin zufrieden mit der Qualität. Es ist allerdings tagesabhängig wie scharf die Gerichte sind. Ich empfehle das Restaurant gerne weiter und freue mich über von Natur aus glutenfreie Gerichte die gut schmecken! Leider war das „frische Gemüse“ im Biryani nur Tk-Kaisergemüse.

Indescribably bad. The poppadoms were stale, the "pickles" horrid, the chapatis crispy and the "basmati" rice tasteless - basically just white rice with a few patches of yellow. We ordered duck and got chicken. The dry biryani (with "fresh" vegetables that were obviously tinned) came without any curry sauce, and they insisted that was correct. The lamb tikka had no flavour. The mango lassi seemed to consist of tinned mango juice with milk. And it took an hour to get served, though we 6 were the only people in the restaurant! It was a Sunday and perhaps the chef had the day off, but there is really no excuse for this.

Super leckere Pakora und dazu noch ohne Weizen.

Essen war gut. Curry Butter Chicken war sehr lecker und man hat immer mal wieder etwas stark Koriander und Ingwer gefunden außerdem war eine Würzstange drin, keine Ahnung welches Gewürz aber all das weist auf frische und echte Zutaten hin, also keine Pulver oder Geschmacksverstärker, da war echter geriebener Ingwer drinne. Der Reis dazu war allerdings etwas viel und das Fleisch dafür etwas wenig. Bei 15,90€ pro Portion finde ich das etwas unfair. Aber der Geschmack war gut, man sollte allerdings wissen, dass Inder gerne sehr scharf essen.

Geheimtipp in Worms: Kleines, feines Restaurant mit super Service und leckerem indischen Essen. Der Vorspeisenteller mit verschiedenen Dips rundet den tollen Gesamteindruck ab 😌

Sehr leckeres indisches Essen, gut aber nicht zu stark gewürzt. Der Mango Lassi war ebenfalls frisch und schmeckte gut. Der Inhaber war ebenfalls sehr freundlich. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Das eigentliche Essen war gut, aber gefühlt etwas wenig. Die Papadams waren nicht mehr knusprig. Das Ambiente ist nicht gemütlich.

Ich mag ja urig, aber das war dann doch eine Spur zuviel. Die Vorspeise war sehr gut, der Lassi und der Chai ebenso( darum auch die 2 Punkte). Ich hatte Panir Butter Massala, da haben definitiv die Gewürze gefehlt, mein Mann hatte vegetarische Kofta, da war es genauso. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste im Lokal und es wurde auch nichts geliefert in der Zeit, trotzdem wurden wir abgerfertigt wie in einem Bayrischen Biergarten, der auf den nächsten Bus wartet. Die Krönung kam am Schluss, wir waren kaum fertig, kam der Wirt, hat die Teller und Gläser abgeräumt und ohne zu fragen die Rechnung hingelegt. Im Nachhinein mussten wir ja wirklich lachen, aber in dem Moment war das doch eher ein Rauswurf.

Wir sind auf gut Glück in dieses Restaurant gegangen und haben es nicht bereut. Sehr leckeres und scharfes Essen. Keine 08/15 Kette. Freundliche Besitzer und netter Service. Orientalische Musik und Ventilator wurden für uns angestellt.

Wir hatten zwei verschiedene Hähnchengerichte mit Reis und extra Naan-Brot, dazu Radler und Chai-Tee. Das Essen war sehr gut (vielleicht ein wenig zu salzig) und reichlich. Zu Beginn gab es den üblichen Gruß aus der Küche mit Chapati und drei Dips. Zu den Hauptgerichten bekamen wir eine große Platte mit Reis (den wir nicht ganz aufgegessen haben, da wir noch ein zusätzliches Naan-Brot bestellt hatten) und zwei sehr schmackhafte Hähnchengerichte mit angenehmer Schärfe. Der Chai-Tee dazu war köstlich! Der Service war freundlich zurückhaltend, und wir hatten einen insgesamt sehr angenehmes Abendessen.

Es el único restaurante al que me encanta ir desde hace muchos años cada vez que puedo. La carta del Punjabi - Haus es bastante diversa, con especialidades de carne, pollo, pescado, oveja, pato. Mi familia es vegetariana y la comida del Punjabi- Haus nos encantó porque tiene más de 20 platos vegetarianos para escoger lo cuál disfrutamos tanto por la variedad como por el sabor de la auténtica comida de la India. Siempre volvemos con gusto❤️

Gemütliches Restaurant, netter Service und gutes Essen!

Wat een deceptie. Als ik een top 10 zou maken van slechte indiaas waar ik gegeten heb, staat deze er zeker in. Papaduns, waren oud en taai. Samosa, meer meel dan wat anders. Gepaneerde groente, gemixt wel oke. Hoofdgerecht: Champignons gerecht met Champignonsuit blik, feestje smaak. Lam tika, oude taaie lamsvlees zonder smaak. Nan brood net een taaie pizza zonder tomaten saus. Kortom niet alles opgegeten, zonder van de calorieën. Lekker langs de Mac geweest om te smullen.

Massig, beim Vindaloo waren die Kartoffeln zT nicht durchgekocht

Sehr sehr lecker! Und das schon seit Jahren. Haben heute zum ersten Mal zum Mitnehmen bestellt, auch das war klasse. Ordentlich verpackt und auch daheim noch warm. Wenn jetzt noch Osthofen ins Liefergebiet aufgenommen würde, wäre es perfekt! 😉

Let me first say, I am half Indian ... I know Indian food.... this stuff was honestly the most horrible Indian food I have ever had.... the naan was actually disgusting, old.... butter chicken should not be called butter chicken and the chickpeas, no taste at all....very disappointing... it wasn't always this bad, used to be better... feel sorry to be so brutally honest because the man there is very nice... but the food is really not ok....

The streets of downtown Worms are absolutely dead by 9 PM even on a Saturday night, but we did manage to find a couple of non-German restaurants near our hotel. We tried the Punjabi Haus, where we got the last available table, and had a reasonably good meal. The fish pakoras tasted very good, although they were in the mushy style that Germans seem to prefer. The garlic nan was excellent, as was the chicken vindaloo. The Madras duck was good but contained only a few specks of duck meat.
