Unfortunately, that was nothing! There were four of us there. Service (despite the restaurant being empty) was really slow. Drinks took a long time to arrive, and the beer (Alster) was unfortunately completely warm and still not sparkling. The bread we ordered didn't even arrive. The food was quite good, but the atmosphere (location) was unfortunately intimidating due to the creepy crowd. In the end, unfortunately, they couldn't provide a proper bill, so they added up the food and drinks using a calculator... All in all, unfortunately, not recommended!

The tapas were really good and authentic, just like on a Spanish vacation. The service was very good and friendly, and we were always looked after (even though we were the only ones sitting outside). With the atmosphere and the Spanish music at a pleasant volume, you quickly forget that you're in Gelsenkirchen and not Spain. We'd love to come back.

We ate there with five people. The service itself was good except for one female waitress (it felt very condescending). For a primarily tapas restaurant the selection was a bit limited. The food itself was a bit salty for my taste and the price was too high. We still had a great evening. However, I don't see whether we will come back again.

When ordering the food, everything was confident and it came quickly. Unfortunately it wasn't satisfactory, the taste was okay but it wasn't enough for more. We had to wait a long time to clear up and received no attention. Overall, we do not recommend this!!

Old furniture, super rude, female service. The two male waiters were super attentive and tried hard, the female waiter, perhaps even the boss, was super unsympathetic and conveyed absolutely no quality of service. By far the worst tapas I've ever eaten. An alleged choriza meat was served in a 5 cent baked roll for 9 euros. I'm at a loss for words and I hope I'm fine tomorrow. The green olives and mineral water were the best.

I thought the price quality was not good. The salade loooked good and big. But just a few big pieces of lettuce not much else. Bread was dry and not tasty. For the 4 of us we paid 120 euro and we couldn't pay with a card. In this day and age this is not acceptable!

We were there with five people on a Saturday evening. The welcome and service is always warm and friendly. The tapas and also the main courses are excellent and authentically Spanish. It tastes like you're on vacation. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant. This was our second visit there and certainly not the last!

Why only cash payment? That's what it says on the internet. Is that correct ?

The owner is not really the kind personality as she tries to present. Food is not a highlight, just average without inspiration. Prices are too high for food without inspiration or quality. The menu has limited choices, and half of the menu card was removed. Cardpayment is not possible, which indicates that there's no interest in serving customers. There're other options in the area.

**Three Star Rating:** Eat: The food was tasty and well prepared, but unfortunately not appropriate for the price asked. Although the quality was good, the overall experience didn't fully justify the cost. Service: The waiters were friendly, but sometimes a bit too intrusive. Drinks: There was a good sangria, but overall everything was too expensive. In particular, it should be noted that the price of €6.50 for a 0.75 liter bottle of water is not justified, especially since we are in Gelsenkirchen and not in a large metropolis. Atmosphere: The general atmosphere of the place was pleasant, with no particular criticisms. Maybe you could change something. In summary, the food was good, but the experience was negatively affected by the ratio of quality to price, a service that, although friendly, was a bit intrusive at times. The price-performance was not appropriate. At some point I will eat there again and write another review in the hope that something will improve.

Die Tappas waren gut, das Fleisch leider sehr zäh und zu schnell kalt. Ich persönlich finde das Preise Leistungs Verhältnis passt nicht. Nichts für den kleinen Geldbeutel...

Ganz tolles Ambiente und hervorragende Bedienung

Wir sind nach dem Konzert auf ein Happchen und einen Absacker dort eingekehrt. Aus dem Häppchen wure Völlerei. Sehr schmackhaft, gute Menge, guter Preis. Nettes Ambiente, flotte nette Bedienung, nette Chefin.

Erstklassiger Service. Wir wurden sehr gut beraten. Uns wurde detailliert die Speisekarte erläutert. Es gab auch eine sehr gute Beratung, für die passenden Weine. Die Vorspeisen waren äußerst lecker. Hätten fast nichts anderes mehr gebraucht. Der Fisch auf den Punkt gebraten. Es herrschte eine lockere Atmosphäre. Eine klare Empfehlung für dieses Restaurant.

Köstliches Essen. Der Service war hervorragend und sehr freundlich. Besonders erwähnenswert war die sympathisch Marla. Grüße aus Freiburg.

Samstagabend ohne Reservierung haben wir (4 Mädels) noch einen Tisch bekommen, obwohl das Pulpo en Tigges voll besetzt war. Service Personal sehr freundlich und wir wurden sogar noch darauf hingewiesen, dass es etwas länger dauern könnte. Essen sehr lecker und wenn man 2 Tappas nimmt wird man auch satt. Bitte beachten, dass man nur bar bezahlen kann. Kartenzahlung leider nicht möglich.

Ich kam spontan vorbei und bin begeistert das Pulpo en Tigges wieder entdeckt zu haben. Kannte es nur unter Tigges von ganz früher. Extrem leckere Tapas, liebevoll von Hand gemacht. Von einem Ehepaar bewirtschaftet, einfach ein tolles Team. Bestens zu empfehlen, top top top. Hasta luego 🥳

Wir sind zu viert spontan eingekehrt und sind nach einigen Stunden mehr als satt, zufrieden und gut unterhalten die Heimreise angetreten. Bei Aufnahme der Bestellung hat uns die Besitzerin direkt gestoppt und meinte wir sollen erstmal abwarten und nicht zuviel auf einmal bestellen! Wir sind gute Esser und haben noch nachgeordert, für Leute mit weniger gesegneten Appetit ist das aber bestimmt hilfreich zu wissen. Die Besitzerin ist ein absolutes Original und hat den Abend zusammen mit den leckeren Tapas und Desserts zu einem gelungenen Ausgeherlebnis gemacht! Und das alles auch noch in GE - was will man mehr!? ;-) Anmerkung, weil für mich wichtig: Toiletten top sauber!

Top Location - schon in GE-Buer "damals" sehr empfehlenswert. Seit mehr als 6 Jahren nun im "Tigges". Wir waren das erste Mal wieder dort und es war toll. Ursprüngliches Ambiente, absolut netter Service und nette Gastgeber!

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen und getrunken. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und das Restaurant macht einen sehr guten und sauberen Eindruck . Die Rechnung von ca.90 € für zwei Personen ist für Gelsenkirchen City etwas happig gewesen. Ein Likör oder ähnliches zum Abschluss "auf's Haus" wäre noch schön gewesen.

Pro:Lecker Sangria Contra: keine vernünftige Speisekarte,extremst wenig Auswahl(insgesamt nur ca. 12 Tapas auf der Karte,für Vegetarier generell nicht zu empfehlen,die werden hier nicht satt),keine Kartenzahlung möglich,angestaubtes Ambiente. Die Tapas waren Ok aber kulinarisch auf einem sehr niedrigen Niveau (Oliven unmariniert aus dem Glas,Fertiggewürz auf den Fleischspießen,keine gute Fleischqualität,Stellenweise viel zu salzig).Preis-Leistung stimmt leider überhaupt nicht. Bisher die schlechtesten Tapas,die ich jemals gegessen habe zum höchsten Preis.

Tolle Gastgeber und super leckere Tapas…

Das Essen war wie immer sehr lecker. Aber die Preise fanden wir dann doch etwas hoch. Alles ist ja mittlerweile etwas teuer, das merken auch die Gastronomen und ziehen die Preise an. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend und gutes Essen, daher haben wir die höheren Preise gern in Kauf genommen. Die Servicekraft war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente ist jetzt nicht das allerneueste und modern, sondern eher rustikal. Aber das hat uns auch nicht gestört. Ich denke, die Stammkunden stört das nicht. Klare Empfehlung!!!

Bodenständiges Spanisches Lokal wo man sehr gut essen kann! Wir hatten allerdings nur Tapas bestellt, aber die waren alle durchweg sehr lecker! Die Bedienung war sehr nett und das Ambiente war auch so wie man es erwarten würde rustikal eingerichtet! Alles in allem kann ich dieses Lokal nur weiterempfehlen!

Super leckeres Essen, alles frisch gemacht, ein Gedicht!

Wir waren von der Freundlichkeit des Services begeistert. Das Ambiente kommt einem spanischen Restaurant €-€€ sehr nahe. Das wichtigste warum man in ein Restaurant geht, ist das Essen. Dieses haben wir zum erstenmal gekostet. Es bestand bei uns aus verschiedenen Tapas. Die frittierten Sardellen waren super frisch und gut gesalzen, das Schweilefilet einfach lecker. Die übrigen Tapas Kroketten, Gambas in Knoblauchöl und Kartoffeln waren okay und leider haben uns die Chipiones (Baby Tintenfisch) nicht so gut gefallen. Vielleicht weil unsere Erwartung an diesem Gericht eine Andere war. Dachten sie wären frittiert,so wie der Paprika, leider eingelegt war und nicht wie wir dachten " de Padron". Das ist natürlich unser Fehler, wenn man bei einer nicht ausdrücklichen Beschreibung der Speisen auf der Karte nicht nachfragt,wenn man das erste Mal dort essen geht. Fazit: würden nochmal wiederkommen und die leckeren Sardellen mit einem Hauptgericht verzehren.

Rustikales Lokal. Die verschiedenen Tapas wurden uns von der sehr netten Wirtin toll erklärt. Das Essen war super lecker. Preise sind fair. Sehr gerne wieder.
